It’s my second home. And whoever is coming for the first time to canggu should definitely stay here

Location and price.

Male staff entered the female room without knocking on both days and propped the door open with a rock not sure why! exposing the room to reception. Workers also asks all the time where I was going. bathroom has No bidet and a shortage of toilet paper. Lighting was too dim to see and the bed cover was tiny thin.

The place is perfect, staff are lovely, pretty garden with nice pool and full equipped kitchen. The boys working here are so helpful and welcoming, made me feel like part of the jungle house family from the second I arrived The rooms are cosy and clean, outdoor bathrooms are also really nice. Location is perfect, right close to everything but not noisy

I love the place, I have been traveling a lot in places but the Jungle House is always a place I come back to. Clean bathrooms, nice staff and best atmosphere. Like family

I don’t know how many times I tried to write this Review and deleted it again and again. No words can describe how much I love this place. I’m keeping it short: As a solo female traveler I came here. Just to explore Canggu ended up finding the best little Oasis in this Concrete Jungle of Bali. I came back a million times, met the most amazing people here. Most of them I call my brothers and sisters now. All the amazing events and adventures we had here, cooking Indo food with everyone, learning to make a banger Nasi Goreng on a random Tuesday for breakfast and spicey spicey Sambal for all the amazing Family dinners we had. Roadtrips to cool places all together and some Jam sessions in the evening. Very musician friendly, in case you’re looking to jam or sing. And if you feel like parteyyy there’s always someone down to go to Xbaaaar!! I love this place so much. Here I’ve lived loved and Rock’n’Rolled. Ahh I don’t know what to say besides, come here if you’re open hearted and ready for some cool people and a goooood time! ❤️ I’ll be back, that’s for sure. And now most importantly again: Makasih everyone. 🫰🏼❤️🙏🏼

The staff was amazing

I absolutely loved my experience. Always jamming, good vibes and the best staff. They are all so friendly and welcoming and you immediately feel like home here. You can ask them anything and they always have the best suggestions in Canggu. I love the girls dormitory room! Cause it really gives you a sense of safety traveling alone. Also there is no crazy party vibe. Of course some drinks here in there, but after 10:30pm they already stop playing music etc. which I loved. Will be back!

The boys working there are amazing and super friendly, there is always a guitar about and being played. I met incredible people who made my time amazing!! The hostel is pretty small but very centrally located in the party district but it‘s a quiet, safe haven in the middle of Canggu crazyness. Rooms were super comfy and quiet. Definitely stay here!!

The bed was comfy and there is a garden with a swimming pool where you may meet people.

It may be a bit noisy, as staff often play guitar till late. It did not bother me personally, but keep it in mind, specially if you are looking something quiet.

Perfect place for backpackers. I know Canggu is more for party people, but this place gave me peaceful and warm experiences. The staffs were being super friendly and helpful, and the room was always being kept clean. The best hostel I've ever been to.

It was not my first time at the legendary Jungle House, and I have to say: I know exactly why I always come back! Everyone there is incredibly lovely, and the staff will help you with literally anything. I always felt comfortable from the very first second, and if I ever had any problem, I know the boys would always help me with anything. I would describe Jungle House as a super chill place, but there’s always someone around to hang out with. Sometimes people sit together outside in the little garden, drinking beers, making music, and singing songs and everyone is welcome to join. It’s the perfect place to meet new friends and enjoy those random magical evenings together. If you like cooking, the kitchen has everything you need, and the local market is just nearby, so it’s easy to get fresh ingredients. And if you’re lucky, the boys will cook some amazing local food for you! The garden with the little pool is perfect for the hot days. The rooms are cozy and simple, and the outdoor bathrooms are absolutely beautiful, the nicest hostel bathrooms I’ve ever seen! Plus the rooms are cleaned every day. All in all, Jungle House feels like home to me. If you’re not into loud party hostels but love chill jam sessions on a random Wednesday night, this is definitely the place for you. It’s the perfect mix of peaceful evenings and fun nights out from time to time. if you want surf lessons, a new tattoo, or just any information about the area or Bali in general, just ask the boys. They love to help and are some of the sweetest people ever, always smiling and always with a big heart.

I absolutely loved staying here. As a solo female traveller, I was a little unsure at first, but those feelings disappeared immediately. The hostel has such a wonderful community, both the guests and the staff create a warm, family like atmosphere that made me feel comfortable right away. The garden is beautiful and perfect for relaxing, and the overall vibe is calm, friendly, and welcoming. There are even shared dinners from time to time, which makes it so easy to connect with people and feel included. I truly felt at home here and would come back anytime. This hostel is a must for every creative soul looking for connection, inspiration, and a peaceful place to stay.

Very creepy vibes for a solo female traveler I really don’t recommend, creepy overall. So many man always seating outside. One staff in particular was really drunk and asking me lots of questions while i clearly just wanted to rest. Also if the top bunk moves you can hear the bed squeaking it’s hard to sleep. Also very loud parties until late. Mostly man

I could never recommend The Jungle House enough. This place feels like home and everyone here feels like family. Travelling alone in Bali and Asia, this has been my favourite place. From the shared meals, to the incredible people and the evening jam sessions, this trip wouldn’t have been this fantastic if I had decided to go somewhere else. Point is, I kept going back and will be back! I

Loved the staff, so helpful and great to connect with. The evenings were the best, playing music and being able to cook on your own is a big plus.

Had bed bugs in the first 3 nights of staying and cockroaches several times outside of the rooms trying to get in.

I had a great time in The Jungle House. The staff was amazing, they are always willing to help, they make you feel at home, they have such a great energy and made me laugh so much. Rooms are spacious and clean, beds are super comfy. The location is good and not far away from the beach. It is a good mix of chill and fun. If I go back to canggu I will for sure come back here. Thank you for the great time.

The power went out at night and turned back on at 5ish and it got so hot in the room i was drenched in sweat and didnt sleep all night, not really the fault of the hostel

Clean bedding, nice pool if you want a social atmosphere the staff have a guitar session in the evenings theres a communal kitchen you can make meals

The staff is very friendly and they are always looking after the guests. They like to create a great atmosphere playing guitar and singing from time to time contributing to the integration of the guests. At night is peaceful so it’s not like a party hostel. It’s very good balance between relaxing and enjoying. I will definitely come back.

Le personnel est vraiment incroyablement gentil, avec casiment chaque soir de la music qu’ils tous ensemble avec une belle atmosphère J’étais vraiment très surprise de voir autant de moment de partage, c’est assez rare dans les hostels Les lits sont ultra confortable, avec prise électrique et rideaux pour l’intimité, et la salle de bain avec la douche extérieur ça c’est vraiment une pépite ! J’ai aussi vu le staff nettoyer les lits, et clairement je n’avais j’allais vu cela! Ils retourne le matelas pour être sûr de nettoyer TOUT ! Et même les casier sont nettoyer après chaque départ ! 🙏🏻 La piscine est un gros plus, le café comme le thé, la cuisine également et la proximité dès magasins 24/24, ainsi que d’un super salon de massage, honnêtement je reviendrais! Note voyageur solo : ça fait 8 ans que je parcours le monde et parfois on peu avoir peur d’aller dans un hostel sans vie et où rencontrer du monde est difficile. Ici la communication ne manque pas, et le sortie improvisé tous ensemble n’ai pas rare! Rencontrer du monde est tellement simple et plaisant ! Les yeux fermés, quand je reviens en décembre, j’ai déjà mon hostel 🙏🏻

The Jungle House Hostel is a dream for every backpacker, especially if it's your first solo trip. The staff are so friendly and helpful that you immediately feel at home. The hostel is located in the center of Canggu, and everything you need is within walking distance, including an ATM, laundry, supermarkets, and restaurants. The beach is a 2-3 minute scooter ride away. Visiting the Jungle House is easier than leaving. Since my first stay, I've never considered anything else. Thank you so much, Jungle House Team 🙏🏽

Friendly and attentive staff! They have a really nice vibe, special ambience :) It's probably the most welcoming hostel in Canggu. Also, the shower is super nice, jungle vibes ✨️

The place itself is really cute with a lot of plants and trees and a pool. The staff is amazingly welcoming, helpful and kind. I also liked the fact that’s there’s a dorm just for girls. The outdoor bathroom and the dorm itself are nice and clean.

I truly enjoyed my time at the Jungle house in Canggu. The atmosphere is really welcoming and peaceful, yet it`s close to everything in Canggu. Additionally the room is very clean and well-maintained. The staff really made it special - incredibly friendly from the start, happy to chat and sharing local tips. Highly recommend if you are looking for a unique place with heart and joy. Would definitely come back!!

Amazing location. So easy to go everywhere

Everything was great. Super nice and welcoming staff. Could arrange an airport car ride very last minute. Nice atmosphere, cute swimming pool. Most beautiful bathroom. Surrounded by supermarkets and cheap restaurants. More pricey but Papa Lee’s Noodles & Dumplings was the best. ~ 2 min walk

I don’t really know why but my second day I had ants coming off the walls so got a little bit in my bed. :/
