I had a great stay at this hostel! The place was super comfortable, clean, and had a really welcoming atmosphere. The staff were kind, friendly, and always helpful whenever I needed anything. The breakfast was also really good and a great way to start the day. I would definitely recommend this hostel, especially if you’re traveling on a budget and looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay. I’d definitely come back again!

The only thing I didn’t like was the lamp in the shower on the first floor. It could use a replacement, but apart from that, everything was great.

El lugar es muy bueno! Un detalle extra sería poner cortinas en las camas, pero por el precio la verdad que está súper bien!!! Muy recomendable!

Finding the place is quite challenging but the neighboorhood is helpful and safe. The staff were amazing, friendly and accomodating.. they keep the place neat and tidy too.

Very beautiful place in the heart of the old Medina. The staff are very friendly, the place is clean, and the overall experience was great. I also had the chance to meet some wonderful people thanks to the shared spaces. I definitely recommend it!

La localisation est bien, même si elle peut être compliquée à trouver vu qu'il n'y a pas de panneau avec le nom de la maison.

Je ne commente jamais mais j'ai été assez surprise par les notes plutôt hautes qu'à reçu l'établissement. La chambre était très petite et sale, le matelas moisi et très mou, la fenêtre ne se ferme pas et c'est très bruyant. Il n'y a pas de clim donc obligée de dormir avec les fenêtres ouvertes malgré le bruit (j'ai dormi avec des boules quies). Le couloir sentait le moisi. La salle de bain est partagée (ce n'était pas mentionné) et sale. Il y a du moisi partout sur les joints. Donc globalement très déçue par cet établissement.

El alojamiento estaba totalmente sucio y no tenía nada que ver con las imágenes. En la información principal tampoco se indicaba claramente que había que compartir todas las estancias con otras personas. Los baños estaban muy sucios y tuvimos que limpiarlos nosotros mismos, comprando lejía. Las camas tampoco estaban limpias, y salió una cucaracha y las toallas que nos dejaron estaban manchadas. Hasta el cuarto día no nos cambiaron las toallas usadas, y cuando las pedíamos nos respondían de forma desagradable que “esto no era un hotel”. Además, nos exigieron que fregáramos nuestros propios cubiertos y platos después del desayuno, algo que tampoco estaba indicado de esa manera y que nos comunicaron con muy malas formas. El chico que nos atendió sí fue agradable, pero por todo lo demás, una experiencia muy decepcionante y nada recomendable.

Fue genial la amabilidad de Omi y el desayuno estaba buenísimo y el hostel es precioso además hay buena higiene y me sentí segura allí

es un poco difícil de encontrar si tienes mala orientación pero revisando previamente google maps no tendras tanto problema en los comentarios tambien hay una foto de la puerta ya que no hay cartel en la fachada ignora amablemente a los señores que preguntan que hostel estas buscando

Pour mon premier séjour en hostel. J'ai apprécié la gentillesse du personnel Aness. C'est une personne très agréable malgré la barrière de la langue. Il va tout faire pour vous faire plaisir. La dame qui fait le nettoyage des parties communes est toujours souriante. J'ai découvert plusieurs cultures de personnes. Vraiment vous êtes à l'aise.. magnifique endroit dans la médina. C'est d'une propreté irréprochable. En plus vous avez un excellent déjeuner.

Dommage que c'est pas indiqué d'une plaque hostel dargara. C'est un inconvénient car au début je me suis perdu 2 fois.

Понравилось расположение: недалеко от входа в медину. Персонал вежливый. Милая терасса наверху.

Нет никакой таблички с названием. Пока думаешь, туда ли ты дошел и стучать ли тебе в обычную черную дверь, набегают местные «помощники», желающие тебя проводить за деньги. Наш номер был очень аскетичным и чистым его не назовешь. По крайней мере пол. Ночью мешают спать галдеж местных с соседнего дома, крики чаек, драки котов и звуки молитвы. На завтрак был чай, сухие булки и оливки. Ничего белкового. На мой взгляд место для очень неприхотливых путешественников.

The best hostel in Morocco! All the staff & volunteers are great people (Shoutout Anas) and same with the guests. This hostel seems to attract only the best people. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Tangier, you wont want to leave. Everything exceeded all expectations, the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and rooftop terrace. If you staying in Tangier, look no further, just book Dar Gara!

Nothing to dislike, everything is spot on.

The staff was nice, and I liked the fact that the hostel was more chill. The free breakfast was good if a bit carb heavy. Also, the location is very good, the closest medina gate is around 30 seconds away by foot, while the Petit Socco can be reached within a few minutes by foot easily. Tangier is a really cool city, and I would come back again, thanks for having me!

Floors probably could have been swept more, also I got mosquito bites at night. Also, note that the beds are very firm, which while not a problem for me, could be uncomfortable for side sleepers.

Alles super nett, hab bei dem Preis weniger erwartet. Je länger ich da war, desto besser fand ich es.

Zuerst war’s nicht so leicht zu finden, weil noch kein Schild an der Tür war. An sich ist es aber nicht zu tief in der Medina und wenn man es einmal raus hat, ist das definitiv eine der entspannteren Lagen :)

El desayuno y la cama bastante confortable. Agua caliente en el baño con buena presión. Uno de los chicos que atendía fue sumamente servicial indicándome lugares a donde comer y cambiar dinero.

El ruido constante. No solo afuera, sino también dentro de las instalaciones. Tanto huéspedes como personal parecen ignorar las recomendaciones de silencio durante las horas de la noche. Otro problema fue el baño. Demasiadas personas alojadas para tener solo 3 baños en total en todo el hospedaje.

Un accueil très chaleureux, malgré notre arrivée tardive imprévue. L’emplacement est idéal et l’endroit est très joli.

Relación calidad-precio inmejorable. Creo que es el pirmer alojamiento en Booking al que voy a puntuar con 5 estrellas. El personal maravilloso, dispuesto, amable, agradable, hospitalario. Me dejaron usar las instalaciones antes del check-in y después del check-out. Guardaron mi mochila también antes y después. La cama bien, muy cómoda, he dormido maravillosamente. Cierto es que mi habitación tenía una ventana que daba a la calle y se oía absolutamente todo, motos, niños chillando… pero siempre llevo tapones para dormir cuando viajo así que no tuve problema ni molestia con eso. El desayuno aceptable. Todo muy rico. Me hubiese gustado más variedad, pero no tengo queja alguna. Estoy súper contenta y agradecida. Recomiendo muchísimo este alojamiento, en mi caso soy mujer que viaja sola y he de decir que lo he encontrado muy cómodo y seguro. Dormí en una habitación mixta de 4 personas y no tuve ningún problema. Tanto el personal como la gente que se aloja ahí (por lo menos durante mi estancia) muy linda, simpática y agradable. Aunque no hablasen mucho mi idioma nos entendimos perfectamente. Seguro me dejo cosas por comentar, pero es que fue todo perfecto. No tengo queja alguna. Simplemente muy agradecida.

Entiendo que a la gente le cueste llegar, como punto de mejora, podrían poner un cartel indicando donde se encuentra la puerta del lugar. En mi caso tuve suerte porque le pedí al taxista que me dejase justo delante y solamente tuve que subir unas escaleras y caminar dos calles, lo encontré súper rápido y fácil. A parte, suele haber gente por la calle que puede darte indicaciones y ayudarte a encontrar el lugar.

Het personeel is erg vriendelijk. Het is een klein hostel wat ik persoonlijk fijn vind.

Het was wat lastig te vinden, maar dat is uiteindelijk gelukt. Ik sliep op de begaande grond naast de deur, waardoor je alles (maar alles) hoorde.

Molt ben situat i personal molt amable. Una bona opció.

Brilliant Staff including the cleaners. Laid back vibe and boho feel. and the free breakfast wasnt just white bead and cheap jam or cereal, it was a feast, oats, cereal, pancakes, special breads, 2 jams, honey, olives, tomatoes, cheese triangles, Fruits, pastries plus good coffee (see photo). lots of loos and showers, plus a rooftop to hang out your swimming costume etc. Also they had toilets and free lockers - with locks ! The medina is actually well lit after dark, unlike some town areas. very near the Port if you are crossing from Spain. Probably even better if it wasn't Ramadan. Beach pretty near but I went in early spring.

Struggling to think of a single thing without being ultra picky. Kitchen was basic (no oven) but everyone managed well.so wasnt a problem.
