Die Lage ist hervorragend. Das gesamte Konzept sehr gut. Man hat das Gefühl, eine Villa selbst zu nutzen, auch wenn noch andere Gäste da sind. Sauna, Hot tube, Dampfbad zum Wohlfühlen, Billardtisch, Dart....ein See, Kajak nehmen und losfahren. Der Aufenthalt ist wirklich großartig!!

Everything about the Guesthouse was fabulous. We spent a couple of nights with a great couple from Wales and a younger couple from Switzerland. First time sharing a communal space and it exceeded our expectations. Would definitely stay again.

There wasn't a thing we couldn't possibly enjoy about this place.

We loved everything about the property: beautifully located & wonderful reception staff. Christina was so helpful and accommodating - we wanted for nothing. One of the best weekend experiences we have had!

Tolles Haus mit sehr guter Ausstattung. Direkter Zugang zum Wasser. Whirlpool, Sauna und Dampfbad. Auch Kajaks stehen zur Benutzung zur Verfügung. Grosszügige Gemeinschaftsräume mit Billardtisch und Dart. Ein voll gefüllter Kühlschrank, aus dem man sich bedienen kann. Man findet dort alles, um ein gutes Frühstück zuzubereiten. Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Der Check-In war etwas holprig, da wir nicht wussten, dass ein Mail mit Informationen zum Zimmer kommen sollte. Es war kein Personal vor Ort, jedoch konnte uns ein anderer Gast die direkte Nummer der Housekeeperin geben, die uns dann sehr freundlich weiterhalf. An der Unterkunft selbst ist absolut nichts zu bemängeln.

Super schöne Zimmer und sehr komfortable Betten . Das gesamte Haus ist sehr exklusiv eingerichtet . Billard Tisch , Sauna, Dampfbad , Kanus, gefüllter Kühlschrank mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Die Hauskeeperin hatte für jeden persönliche Briefe . Es gab Aufmerksamkeiten zur Begrüßung im Zimmer und Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten . Auch ein großer Gasgrill konnte genutzt werden . Super Aufenthalt- Lage ebenfalls super .

Uns persönlich fehlten die typisch kanadischen Holzstühle im Garten - es gab aber genug Möglichkeiten zum entspannen.

Property was very well maintained. Accommodations very clean and kitchen area very nicely stocked with necessities So nice to visit a private property geared to couples! Gardens areas relaxing with beautiful views of the harbor.

That I couldn’t stay longer to enjoy the experience more. Lack of dining, no fault of host.

Super chambre d'hôte, originale par sa cuisine partagée: petit déjeuner à faire soi-même, avec épicerie et ustensiles à disposition. Chambre Darya magnifique, très grande, très confortable, avec tv, frigo, ventilateur. Magnifique maison, très bien décorée et équipée: salle de billard, jacuzzi, grand jardin, ponton. Merci pour la gentillesse et le professionnalisme de la gouvernante.

Le sifflement dans la salle de bain, dès que quelqu'un utilisait l'eau (wc, douche)

Fabulous location, the guest house is the best equipped we've ever seen. Rooms available from 4pm but you can arrive early and use the facilities such as kayaks, steam room, sauna, pool table, help yourself to coffee and snacks. Our king room had seating area and a very comfortable bed with super quality linen. Super breakfast available, cook your own eggs and bacon or waffles, cereal etc. Huge Kitchen area is shared with other guests so it's great to meet them and swap travel stories. Ground are well kept with plenty of loungers and chairs to sit and admire the view.

The communal, well stocked kitchen. The suite size for our family of three. The pool table was a hit with my girls, and the use of the laundry room to dry wet beach towels and do a few items of laundry was a bonus.

Perfect location with magnificent views of the water. The gardens were exceptionally well maintained as was the interior rooms. Really charming in all respects.

Der ganze Aufenthalt war sehr gut. Die Sauna hat gut funktioniert, danach haben wir uns im Meer abgekühlt. super

1.Die Abdunkelung des Zimmers war nicht optimal. 2.Das Zimmer konnte nicht völlig Sichtgeschützt gemacht werden, da ein Fenster in den Wintergarten führt, der für andere Gäste zugänglich ist. Der Sichtschutz ist hier aber nur halbtransparent.

Location was wonderful, the view over the water was fantastic. The accommodation was great, the use of the whole house, the extras including the kayak, hot tub and sauna were a great bonus. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and have everything, you for a great stay. The sunset views and stars at night are great

A beautiful guesthouse with loads of amenities and a well stocked larder full of delicious choices. The hot tub, steam room, sauna and seaside location ensure that we were able to avail of the VIP package.

A little confusion at check in but all easily sorted and Christina was fabulous.

Beautiful setting with everything provided to make your stay special. Lots of food available, kayaks and boats to explore the sea. Great place to relax or use as a base to explore.

A little confusion during check-in as another couple of guests were unable to satisfactorily operate the locking system of the premises because there was noone there to greet any of us.

Fruit old bananas were bad. Did not feel comfortable there was no info informing of the lack of mobility ie entering, to the porch, out to hot tub. No air conditioning.

Was not that clean and is in rough condition. We had to buy toilet paper, less than half a roll. Had to buy Kleenex. To warm for sleeping. Would have left if it were really hot. Not even close to good value.

Comfortable rooms and shared space, beautiful location right by the water. Enjoyed the hot tub. Easy self check in.

Do it yourself breakfast options were nice but basic and could have been a bit fresher.

Wunderschönes Guest House, mit super Ausstattung und super sauber.

Die Zimmer sind etwas klein und die Kommunikation läuft ausschließlich digital.

Die Lage war unvergleichlich, direkt am Wasser und weitem Blick aufs Meer. Das Haus war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und top sauber. Die Anzahl der Zimmer war überschaubar und die Gästezahl minimiert. Das Haus hat einen riesengroßen Garten, eine Sauna, einen Hot Tub, also auch Alternativen bei schlechtem Wetter.

Das Frühstück musste selbst mit den vorhandenen Lebensmitteln zubereitet werden. Wenn max. 10 Gäste das Haus bewohnen und jeder etwas Warmes am Herd zubereiten möchte, wird’s sicher problematisch.

Great location and very friendly staff. There were many shared facilities available included equipment for water activities an steam room. The garden was big, comfortable, and had a great view of the water. We only stayed there for one night but really enjoyed it, and the bed was very comfortable.

Frühstück muss man selber machen. Alles dort, aber zu diesem Preis erwartet man bedient zu werden. Daher überteuert. Dusche funktionierte schlecht. Alles in die Jahre gekommen. Braucht mal eine Renovation.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit toller Lage am See. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es ist ein Haus mit einigen eigenen Zimmern. Im restlichen Haus kann man sich ansonsten frei bewegen und aufhalten. Das Frühstück war bereitgestellt und man konnte sie an den Sachen selbst bedienen. Die Auswahl war gut. Wir hatten ein paar Probleme mit der Haustür, konnten aber auch spätabends noch die Besitzer erreichen, die sehr hilfsbereit waren.

Peaceful, comfy room & the owners provided everything I requested. Prices are high all over NS, so this was in line with the season. Fridge & coffee maker provided & they added a kettle & microwave at my request. I would highly recommend this motel

The only thing better would have been a kitchenette.

After a long drive the amenities were well appreciated. There was so many spaces to relax and to socialize with the other guests.

Magnificent space and location with deluxe amenities - hot tub, sauna, steam room, BBQ, luxurious shared spaces. One of the best places we have stayed - and we found it by accident as a last minute booking!

This is a beautiful place to stay especially if you want some R&R. 40 minutes away from Halifax. Right on the water, gorgeous view.

Restaurants close around 7.

It's like having a luxury hotel room in a shared home. Rather then walking out into a meaningless corridor in a hotel you walk out into an amazing home, shared with the other guests. Seating area, dining room, kitchen, games room, sun room, garden. It's all there! Great to have a lot of flexibility. A few comments suggest it's a bad thing to make your own breakfast but we liked it a lot. The selection of breakfast goods is amazing and of good quality, you can eat relaxed, extent your breakfast, change your mind, have something extra, the flexibility it provides was for us real freedom and added to the experience. We had a very light breakfast before going out in the kayaks directly from the garden (free of charge!) and then had a hearthy 'second breakfast' after coming back. :) We had nice chats with the other guests and the host was really nice as well. If you book this house with a group of friends or family for a bit longer stay you won't be dissapointed!

Difficult to fault this house and its amenitites, but for the sake of nitpicking, we used the last bit of honey from the pot. The other thing is it took quite some time for hot water to reach the bathroom. It felt a bit like waste of water because we had to run it quite long before it heated up.

Manche Menschen leben ohne Rücksicht auf Kosten anderer;der Hottube wurde nachts vor unserem Fenster um 11:30 p.m. lautstark genutzt und morgens das Dampf -bad vor 7:00 a. m.

Loved my stay here in the beautiful KISH suite and met some wonderful people who were also staying at the guest house. The communal breakfast table / kitchen is a wonderful idea and the owners kindly allow guests to help themselves to food whenever they feel peckish. In the evening we shared the hot tub and chatted for ages in the warm water, continuing the next morning at the huge dining table, also pulling some newly-arrived guests into our conversation and learning so much about each other! We really did leave as friends. Next time, we'll have to say longer, so we can go kayaking and explore the shoreline a bit. This time, there was too little time.

Nice location (Martinique Beach is super nice). Hot tub, sauna, small private pier. Common kitchen with utensils and appliances.

The common spaces were very large but the room was rather small. The breakfast items provided were underwhelming. Would suggest you go to the Uprooted Cafe and Market instead a few minutes away. Felt a bit like Airbnb - self checkin, no one really around. They reacted fast to messages but really it didnt feel like the luxury in the title is warranted.

Amazing amount of food on offer , huge super well equipped kitchen, hot tub, sauna, paddle boards , dock, really everything you could want.

Couldn’t turn down the ac in the bedrooms. The whole building was really cold apart from the conservatory which wasn’t that comfy to sit in. Not many good places around to eat and nothing within a nice walk.

The room is large and well equipped, even though it faced the street/parking, but the area is very quiet Common areas are super, the location directly on the sea is amazing

This is a beautiful house on a perfect lot. I wish we had more time to have enjoyed the area and the property.

It has a breakfast that you prepare yourself. It wasn’t a big deal and it kept the cost down a bit.

The location was wonderful. The breakfast items that were left in the house were ok.

There was nobody there when we got there, we were an hour later than the estimated time but I sent a message as soon as we left the airport telling the host we would be. There was no way to lock the house. It was a shared experience with no host and none of us had a door code, we did not expect that. The only info we had was a note telling us the door code for our room and what room it was. We were also told in that note that we were the only ones who were booked in the house. One evening we heard a noise in the house to find another person, fine but it would have been nice to know. The worst was that there is a company who holds standing morning Business meeting taking the kitchen and dining room space! We were texted the info the night before. So, no breakfast and the sound from it was loud in our room.
