MONI FARM HOUSE WILPATTU

Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen, ein kurzer Weg zum Nationalpark und zum See. Die Ausstattung war neu. Das WLAN hat gut funktioniert. Alles war perfekt sauber. Das Personal hat sich super um uns gekümmert. Von Abendessen, bis Frühstück und Lunch, war alles sehr lecker & günstig. Unsere Wünsche wurden alle berücksichtigt. Uns wurde sogar eine Safari organisiert. Buddika hat uns am Abend auch einen geführten Spaziergang um den See gegeben. So konnten wir viel über das lokale Leben lernen.

Es war alles wunderbar.

Budikka doet echt zijn best het je naar de zin te maken. Eten wat erg lekker. Kalum is een jonge knaap, maar kan echt lekker koken met weinig🥳. Huisje was erg netjes, en alles was aanwezig. De bedden zijn beetje hard, maar dat zijn ze hier overal. Budikka heeft ook de Safari tocht voor ons geregeld voor een nette prijs. Dus al met al hebben wij het daar heel erg goed gehad. En aangezien het een home stay is, komt het geld gelijk goed aan.

Thoroughly recommend Moni Hiuse Farm, comfortable rooms, excellent food and our hosts could not have been more kind and helpful.

It was perfectly located close to Wilpattu NP. We wasted no time in being able to do a PM Jeep Safari and an early AM Birding tour. Photos below are: White-throated Kingfisher, Painted Stork, Moni House dining area and sleeping leopard. If you like nature, want to interact with Sri Lankans and enjoy their lively good, it's a no-brainer.

We liked everything. The food really was amazing, the room was basic but we only wanted functional, comfortable accommodation. We were looked after extremely well by Buddika and his two colleagues. His young colleague could easily open a restaurant in Japan !

The chef was a very good cook with a great onsite breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff that were happy to help

No internet or TV and felt is was a little overpriced

Moni farm house is a very special place. The room is beautiful and very clean. Buddika and the guys are very kind and available for all your needs. Food is excellent and the atmosphere is unique. They also provide to organize you real good safari and anything you need. We will never forget our stay there. If you plan to go to Willpattu don’t miss this special place!!

De locatie is gelegen heel dicht bij National park Wilpattu. Heel rustige, kleinschalige, accommodatie in typisch locale stijl. Eenvoudig maar zeer comfortabel. Prachtig meer op enkele minuten lopen. Heel vriendelijke staff, dat heerlijk lokaal eten kan serveren. Vanaf het terras veel prachtige vogels gespot.

The food was lovely. Lots of veggies and fruit from the farm and non spicy on request. Very good beds. Nice atmosphere with birdsound all around.

The surroundings are nice and the room was clean and very comfortable (except for the extra bed) Dinner and breakfast were good too.

Everything was good in the room, except for the extra bed that we added to the room (we were 4 people), which was not comfortable at all We booked the safari with them, but the car was quite old and the packed lunch and breakfast provided by the accomodation were not as good as expected

Nous avons loué 2 chambres spacieuses et calmes. Nos hôtes nous ont organisé un bon dîner sur une terrasse couverte charmante ( jolie guirlande ). Ils nous également organisé un super safari où nous avons vu plein d’animaux différents dans une magnifique nature. Le propriétaire nous a même amené observer des oiseaux sur un lac tout proche au petit matin, et ce, gracieusement.

Mono Farm house is ideally situated for Wilpattu park. The room was very clean with good amenities there is also a fridge which is really useful. We went on a lovely evening walk by the nearby lake. The food was great and you can make requests if you want anything specific. I would highly recommend Moni Farm House as your base for a Safari. Thanks Buddika for a memorable stay.

Very new and well kept, in a good location very close to the park. Great facilities in the room and the host helped us organise our safari, meals, transfers to and from Wilpattu, fantastic experience!

A little buggy but that can’t be helped!

Very large spacious comfortable room. Great AC. Lovely nutritious meals cooked for us & a change from the regular curries. Very friendly host family. We really enjoyed walking around the area as wel.

Wonderful place. Beautiful, stylish and clean rooms, very peaceful in the middle of nature (10 mins away from the national park entrance!). Delicious food and kind owner and staff who did all they could to make our stay perfect. Thank you for having us.

Das Zimmer in Monis Farm House war sauber und geräumig. Es gab einen Kühlschrank mit Wasser und Bier, das Badezimmer war ausgestattet mit einem Föhn, Handtüchern und kleinem Shampoo, Waschgel und Bodylotion. Man konnte Frühstück, Lunch und Abendessen hinzubuchen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und frisch. Wir sind mit dem Bus angekommen und eine Abholung von der Haltestelle war kein Problem. Über die Unterkunft konnten wir die Safari im Wilpattu Nationalpark buchen, die Unterkunft liegt sehr nah am Nationalpark. Die Safari im Park ist es definitiv wert! Landschaftlich sehr abwechslungsreich. 10 Minuten von der Unterkunft entfernt ist ein See, wo man schön hin spazieren kann. Der Inhaber kennt sich super mit Vögeln aus, er hat uns viele verschiedene Vogelarten auf dem Gelände der Unterkunft mit Fernglas gezeigt. Er hat uns einen Fahrt bis zur nächsten Unterkunft organisiert und uns viele Tipps mit auf den Weg gegeben. Man kann Bar oder mit Karte zahlen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Very comfortable spotless clean, new bungalow, nice quiet location, front porch, Very nice bathroom, Good size room, air conditioner, tv fridge, tea coffee, Very friendly and helpful staff at property made our stay. The owner is very helpful organised our safari in Wilpattu which was very good and helped us organise our transport to next location with a very friendly helpful driver. Best breakfast Sri Lanka coconut roti, fruit, omelette,fresh and plenty of food. Best evening meal, very good Sri Lanka curry and side dishes very fresh produce and vegetables.One of our best meals in Sri Lanka.

Fabulously clean and very stylishly designed. Fantastic location right near the National park (10 mins) - great for an early get up safari. The two double rooms are big with plenty of storage space and the bathrooms are gorgeous and well equipped with a great shower (3 head options) stylish fittings, shower gel etc to use and even a hairdryer (if that’s your thing). There are also plenty of plush towels provided and flannels. Tea and coffee making facilities, lovely crockery and clean kettle. The water is all filtered so a lovely change not having to use bottled water to clean teeth! Fridge was decent size and as we went all inclusive it was filled with water, juice and soft drinks. Also biscuits and cake bars which the kids loved! I would def recommend going all inclusive. Firstly there is very little in area and within walking distance and secondly the food was fantastic. Sajidh our man on site was attentive and friendly. We ate lovely Sri Lankan food and also a pasta lunch and they catered for us all as vegetarians with no problem. Beer was available to buy as extra but all other drinks included. There is a lovely walk to the nearby lake/wetland where cows graze and locals fish and bathe. We spotted so much wildlife on our sunset walk and everyone we met was very friendly. The veranda is also great for bird spotting! It really is a beautiful place and lovely and quiet. Buddika the owner organised a safari with a very knowledgeable guide and we saw around 25 animals including the elusive leopard!

Nothing, it was just what we needed

We really enjoyed our stay at Moni Farmhouse - the location is superb, being very close to a lake with a lot of bird life. The food provided by Sajith and his wife was consistently excellent. We went on a safari tour that the owner, Buddika arranged for us - the guide was excellent and we saw a lot of wildlife, the highlight being a baby leopard just as we were leaving the park!

If you like spicy food I'd recommend to ask Sajith for extra chilli sambal - otherwise the food is mild (but flavourful).

Excellent quiet location, close to Wilpattu National Park - very helpful for getting to the park early in the morning ready for safari. Buddika, the proprietor, was so helpful and communicative. We arranged with him for him to fetch us from our previous location, and he took us to our next one as well, and we trusted his safe driving. He could answer in depth all the questions we had saved up about Sri Lanka. The accommodation itself was so nicely designed and built, and it felt fresh. Meals were good and served with warm hospitality. Lots of plans to expand their offerings on site.

A couple of extra pillows and two nightstands (bedside tables) would be great.

Great location close to the national park, the hosts were fantastic, cooked us dinner as we arrived late from an afternoon safari and breakfast in the morning was delicious! Would stay again !

Struttura nuova e pulitissima completa di tutto! Posto immerso nella natura stupendo. Personale gentilissimo e premuroso. Safari organizzato da loro molto bello abbiamo avvistato 2 Leopardi. Cena molto buona. Consiglio!

Se proprio devo trovare un difetto un po’ più caro rispetto alla media dei prezzi qua in Sri Lanka .

Wir können Moni Farm House auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. Es ist schön ruhig gelegen, in der Nähe von einem See. Mit unserem Tuktuk konnten wir es auch gut erreichen - trotz der kleinen Wege. Das Haus und Grundstück sind sehr gepflegt und man wird von einem sehr zuvorkommenden und netten Housekeeper umsorgt. Das Zimmer war großzügig geschnitten, es gab Getränke, warmes Wasser etc. und man konnte den Abend auf der eigenen Veranda verbringen. Abends wurde für uns Reis und Curry gekocht, das wir dann auf unserer Terasse essen konnten. Auch als wir Probleme mit dem Fahrer unserer Safari hatten, war der Gastgeber um eine Lösung bemüht und immer erreichbar.

Il safari qui tramite moni è davvero unico. Vi consiglio di rivolgervi a loro per organizzare il vostro super safari.

De kamer was groot en netjes. Het eten was lekker en uitgebreid. Heel rustig gelegen. Alles werkte goed.

Misschien wat afgelegen voor sommige mensen.

Das Zimmer ist groß, ein schönes Badezimmer, alles sehr sauber und mit guter Klimaanlage. Unmittelbar davor eine wunderbar schattige Terrasse, auf der sehr leckeres Sri lankisches Abendessen serviert wurde. Es gibt insgesamt 2 Zimmer, der Verwalter ist sehr nett, spricht aber nur wenig Englisch. Safari wurde für uns organisiert, inklusive pick-up. Zum wilpattu national Park ist es nicht weit.

Leider kein WLAN. Außerdem wurde uns ein Preis für einen Jeep für die "private safari" genannt (32.000), zuzüglich Parkeintritt. Als wir dann entschieden haben, mit den Zimmernachbarn gemeinsam in einem Jeep zu fahren, kostete es plötzlich 22.000 pro Zimmer... Anders als in anderen parks war hier auch kein Essen inklusive, sondern musste gesondert bezahlt werden. Das war aber lecker und der Preis angemessen.

Very clean. Everything was new and it semelles amazing. The caretaker was very polite and cooked is incredible dinner. If you want to do the Safari, this place is perfect. We booked a Safari with getyourguide but you can also book directly with them.

Don’t hesitate to book this. We had a fabulous stay. The location was perfect. So close to the gates of Wilpattu National Park. Buddika the host was excellent to communicate with before the stay & during. He booked the full day safari tour for us. We had an amazing day! We saw three leopards, elephants & so much more. In the evenings we enjoyed walking by the nearby lake. It was so peaceful. The caretaker was very pleasant & made some lovely dinners & breakfasts for us. He also packed a breakfast & lunch for us for the Safari. Buddika arranged a Tuk Tuk for us to & from Wilpattu junction where we got the bus. Upon leaving we got a little stone elephant gift.

A few little bugs creep in but that’s to be expected n the jungle.

From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized by Buddika, who managed our transfers, meals, accommodation, and safari experience with incredible professionalism and kindness. He personally arranged our pick-up from Negombo, coordinated the drive to Wilpattu, and took care of every detail of our stay. The following day, we enjoyed a full-day safari in Wilpattu National Park, which I highly recommend! We were lucky enough to spot sloth bears, leopards, and elephants—a truly unforgettable experience. Moni Farmhouse is brand new and beautifully designed. It felt like staying in a private suite surrounded by nature, offering peace, comfort, and total immersion in the wilderness. All our meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—were freshly prepared and delicious. After our stay, Buddika also arranged our transfer to Anuradhapura, making everything seamless and stress-free. We are deeply grateful to Buddika for his warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. Thanks to him, our journey through Sri Lanka started in the best possible way. Highly recommended!

De accommodatie zelf en het avondmaal waren werkelijk super !!!! Zo proper, mooi en comfortabel. En in de avond een heerlijke curry.

Wij wouden vooral naar daar door de lovende safari commentaar van andere gasten. Op voorhand hebben we een aantal keer gevraagd of de crew van de Safari goed was. Badikka, zei dat hij zeer ervaren gidsen had. Je geeft centjes, en vertrouwt er dan op. Eens de safari startte was het eigenlijk al te laat voor ons. Onze 'ervaren' gids kon bijna geen Engels en wij hebben eigenlijk geen uitleg of aanwijzingen gekregen. We keken er zo hard naar uit. En waren erg teleurgesteld. Later gaf de eigenaar toe dat zijn ervaren gids het druk had en die dag niet kon. Kan goed zijn, maar wees eerlijk met je gasten. We hadden maar 1 dag/1 kans en voelden ons belogen. Hij wou compenseren met een taxirit, maar deze weegt niet op tegen zo een gevoel.

Geweldige eigen plek midden in de natuur. Een mooi huis met veel grond er omheen waar je heel veel mooie vogels kunt zien, twee hele ruime slaapkamers, voorzien van airco en koelkast met drinken. Op het terrein staat iets verderop een klein huisje van waaruit de super vriendelijke beheerder zorgt voor heerlijk eten (ontbijt, lunch en diner). De eigenaar checkt geregeld in of alles nog naar wens is. Heeft voor ons de safari geregeld (waar je in minder dan een half uur al bent) en kon voor ons ook vervoer naar onze volgende locatie regelen.

Goed om te weten dat het laatste stukje naar het huis over een zandpad loopt. De beheerder trof ons op het afgesproken meeting point en begeleidde ons op de motor naar het huis.

I would highly recommend this place for both locals and foreigners alike. The caretaker is amazing, he came to the road on his scooter to show us the way. The owner is super responsive and flexible.

Rustig in de natuur op zeer korte afsatand van het park. Vriendenlijke inwonend koppel die de huisjes beheerd vooor de eigenar die enkel vommuniceert vi telefoon en whatsapp. lekker eten op vraag en lekker ontbijt. Ver van dorp , maar daar zijn er enkel handelszaken voor de lokale bevolking. Leuk meertje op wandelafstand waar zwemmen mogelijk is.

Le lieu est reposant, nous sommes complètement entouré de la nature. La location était très propre. La nourriture était très très bonne.

L'emplacement en pleine nature, avec possibilité de se promener dans les rizières était très sympa. L'organisation du safari parfait également.

Les repas étaient très corrects mais pas excellents.

Es un alojamiento muy moderno con instalaciones que están muy bien

Nos dijeron mal el precio del safari, resultó ser el doble de lo que nos habían dicho. Hay una persona atendiendo que es agradable y sonriente pero no habla nada inglés, mejoraría esto. Pone que tiene wifi y no lo tiene, y estás en medio de la selva, y por la mañana nos cortaron la electricidad, cosa que no habían avisado, y hacía calor, no se pueden cargar los móviles….

Super friendly host and great food. The room was clean and equipped with AC, fridge and coffee making facilities (Nescafe). Very close to Wilpattu national park. Our host suggested to arrange our safari and we were not disappointed.

Bonito lugar para quedarte cerca de Wilpattu. Nos gestionaron desplamientos y safari ellos mismo. Muy buena atención y muy rica la comida. El sitio está aislado y lejos de tiendas o restaurantes, mejor contratar con todo incluido, preparan desayuno y comida para el safari.

Wir hatten eine super Zeit in der Unterkunft! Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Natur und ist nicht weit vom Nationalpark. Der Host hat uns eine Safari organisiert. Der Caretaker hat für uns super gekocht ( typisch sri-lankisch) und auch während der Safari wurden wir mit Getränken und Essen versorgt. Wir würden immer wieder kommen.

Hohe Zimmer, verhältnismäßig leise Klimaanlage, Lage mitten in der Natur, Abschiedsgeschenk vom Host erhalten. (Elefant aus Stein geschnitzt)

Bettlaken waren nicht ganz sauber, kein Moskitonetz verfügbar, Ameisen im Bad, im Zimmer und auf der Veranda auf der ganzen Hängematte → Diese war damit nicht benutzbar. Anfahrt zur Unterkunft sehr umständlich über unasphaltierten weg -> fast zu schmal für normalen PKW

What a beautiful accommodation this was! Everything is very new, the room is spacious with air-conditioning and a nice seating area in a very peaceful area, with even a hammock! The warm shower was lovely, and the host was very friendly as well. They can also prepare delicious food for a fair price if asked in advance.

A wonderfully peaceful place, surrounded by nature, many birds and a lake nearby where you can go for a walk. The breakfast and dinner where really delicious. Fresh vegetables, wonderful curry and every thing very tasty. Room nice and spacious.The owner and caretaker speak English very well. All of them very friendly and helpfull. Safari and pick ups where areanged for us. We will definitly go back again when in Wilpattu.

Liegt in der Nähe zum Nationalpark, den Besuch kann man von hier aus buchen. Sehr nettes Verwalterehepaar, alles sauber und nett.

Schwierig zu erreichen, das letzte Straßenstück ist unpassierbar. Über einen Umweg gehts dann mit dem TukTuk. Der Eigentümer ist dabei behilflich.

We loved our stay and would thoroughly recommend staying here. The room was modern, very clean and comfortable. The location is beautiful, so quiet and just a 5 minute walk to a stunning lake. Go for a walk at dusk and you’ll see so many birds. I had really good communication with the owner via WhatsApp both before and during the stay. The owner organised a private safari with an excellent English speaking guide that was a reasonable price. The caretaker and his family are very friendly but don’t speak much English. Definitely have dinner as the meal was delicious!!

Nothing- it was perfect. You are out in the countryside so come prepared with mosquito repellent and expect some bugs.

Lo que más nos gustó es que se encuentra en medio de la selva, en una zona sin apenas casas y con un lago muy cercano que es precioso. Las habitaciones son muy muy buenas, y el chico que te atiende muy simpático, pero apenas habla inglés por lo que la comunicación se hace un poco dificil aunque entre el traductor y llamadas al dueño, que sí habla inglés, terminas por entenderte.

Contratamos con ellos el safari en wilpattu (ellos lo gestionaron) y, además de tener muy mala suerte y no ver ningún animal de los interesantes, la comida que nos dieron dejaba mucho que desear respecto a las que llevaban otras personas. Por esto yo no contrataría el safari con ellos, pero contrataría el alojamiento sin ninguna duda.

New Homestay with comfortable big rooms. Very nice shower, better than what I have at home. Silent airconditioning. Not cheap but worth the price because of the quality of the rooms. Extra will be breakfast 1200,diner 1500, softdrinks 300-500. Food good though. Contact with the manager only by phone, that's a pity, contact with the local family who takes care of the accommodation and food is very good, though little English.

Booking says WiFi, but there's none

We loved our stay at Moni Farm. It is in a remote, but very attractive location close to a lovely bird-filled walk along a lake and the room had a great veranda for chilling. We took the bus to Wilpattu Junction and then the very helpful and responsive owner and caretaker arranged at tuk tuk to take us the last 7km. The room was quite new with a comfy bed, fridge, kettle, hot water and good aircon. Sajith, the friendly and helpful caretaker, is a good cook and we enjoyed tasty breakfasts and evening meals. We arranged a half day safari through the guest house which worked well as they sent a driver who spoke a little English. The safari was worthwhile, though we were pleased we chose the half day one from 6 am until about 12 as the road in the park is terrible. We saw deer, buffalo, a leopard and lots of birds. We would recommend Moni Farm House.

The location was perfect for Wilpattu Safari, the Care Taker and his wife were wonderful, food was lovely, the owner was easy to contact and rang us to check we were happy, they also can organise Safari, the lake 500 meters from location is beautiful, we saw a Hornbill in the trees outside our room, the dog came for a walk with us!

It was perfect for what we wanted, we took lots of bug spray and creams so all was good! GPS will take you down a very rutted track - please listen to the owner and wait for the Caretaker to meet you, he takes you a much better route

Emplacement très reculé et difficile d’accès mais le personnel était très dispo pour nous accueillir.

Das Haus ist wunderschön in der Wildnis gelegen. Pfaue, Schildkröten und weitere wilde Tiere sind keine Seltenheit! Der Caretaker und seine Familie haben unseren Aufentahlt einzigartig gemacht. Sie haben unsere ganze Wilpattu Safari organisiert. Wir konnten uns einfach zurücklehnen und geniessen. Die Privat-Safari war durch sie auch um einiges günstiger!

Staff were amazing and host was easy to contact and flexible. Location was well out of the way with an amazing lake within a few minutes walk with trials to walk also bit perfect for Wilpattu national park. Food was really nice and the room had everything you could need.

No bikes available to rent or borrow. And food wasn’t already added to the room price even though there’s no other options.

De locatie was echt schitterend. Heel rustig en middenin de natuur. De host zelf was ziek maar belde een paar keer om alles te regelen. Hele attente host en supervriendelijk. Ook een hele mooie safari gedaan en de luipaard, de beer en een olifant gezien. En het opstaan met het meest mooie vogel concert ooit. Ook het eten dat door Shadiek voor ons kookte, was heerlijk en met veel liefde bereid. Super goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Dank voor dit geweldige verblijf!

De jeepsafari vonden wij te lang. Van 6 uur in de ochtend tot 5 uur in de middag. ( De wegen zijn nl. erg bumpy. Het enige wat wij misten was een koelkastje op de kamer.

Moni Farm House is de perfecte uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Wilpattu. Het park ligt op korte afstand, waardoor je er in no-time bent. Het verblijf zelf is een prachtig authentiek, traditioneel farm house, met een sfeervolle en karakteristieke uitstraling. De accommodatie is eenvoudig maar stijlvol, met een groot comfortabel bed en een warme douche – precies wat je nodig hebt na een dag in het wild. De afgelegen ligging is onderdeel van de charme; het voelt als een unieke ontsnapping aan de drukte, waar je in alle rust kunt genieten van de natuur. De gastvrijheid is uitstekend. Er wordt goed voor je gezorgd en op verzoek wordt heerlijk eten geserveerd of ingepakt om mee te nemen op safari. De persoonlijke aandacht maken het verblijf extra bijzonder. Als je houdt van even écht weg zijn en een authentieke ervaring midden in de natuur, dan is Moni Farm House een geweldige keuze!

Wir habrn die Tage in Monis Farm Haus sehr genossen. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Es ist ist alles vorhanden und wir wurden vom Gastgeber (nicht der Besitzer) liebevoll umsorgt. Die Terasse lädt zum verweilen ein. Wir haben die Safari über die Unterkunft gebucht und es hat alles geklappt, aber der Fahrer hat kaum Englisch gesprochen, was etwas schade war. Wir hatten eine Full-Day Safari gebucht, dann aber etwas verkürzt, weil es für unseren Geschmack dann doch etwas zu lange war.

If your looking for a well rounded bungalow in a very natural setting this is the one. I went here for birding and the famous Wilpattu safari. Sadith takes amazing care you and he was so kind sharing his internet for a brief moment with me. As written there is no Wi-Fi. To get there is also quite a challenge as not all Tuktuk drivers want to take you there, I managed to find a local guy riding his bike that way for me. Very kind. For bird lovers this place is everything. You can freely hike around to spot countless birds, even more so then during your jeep safari. The lake and rice fields hikes I did around were beautiful. Local farmfamilies smile and wave at you. Monkeys all around. I booked my safari through the owner of the accommodation. Unfortunately the safari agency didn't gave me an English speaking guide as I requested so my private safari tour turned out quiet a lonely one for most of the day! :( The owner gave me back 10% of my money due to this situation. That was really good! Accomodation is clean and very well designed. Airconditioned and lovely porch.

If there's one thing I would like to mention: the pillows are just not so comfortable. They lack some thickness and strength.

Problemas con el Wifi por poner algo a mejorar, pero quien necesita conectarse a internet cuando estás en el Edén.

The location is great, far from noise. It’s very calm and peaceful. The house is also very clean and spacious. The caretaker, Sadi (I hope I spelled the name correctly), is a super nice guy and always ready to help. He makes staying here even more special. Overall, I would highly recommend to stay here. It is also possible to organize a safari trip. The price seems fair, and the driver will pick you up directly from the house. I was very satisfied with how well it was organized.

Big bed, spacious room. The caretaker made us breakfast to go on safari in the morning and cooked us 2 dinners which were so nice! Very close to the entrance of the national park. You can walk down to the lake at the end of the road also!

They organized an amazing safari for me, making the experience completely hassle-free. The location is perfect, offering a serene and picturesque setting that feels like a true escape into nature. The Sri Lankan food served here was exceptional – fresh, flavorful, and authentic. This is an ideal place for anyone visiting Wilpattu National Park. Highly recommended for the location, hospitality, and overall experience!

Perfekter Ort als Start für Safari in den Wilpattu NP. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, neu, modern und ordentlich. Klimaanlage funktioniert super. Safari kann vom Vermieter zum fairen Preis organisiert werden. Wir hatten mit Manoj den absoluten Traumguide mit Leoparden. In der Nähe ist ein kleiner hübscher See. Das Essen war lecker und ausreichend und wurde vom zuvorkommenden und sehr pünktlichen Housekeeper serviert.

Groot bed, de ligging, ruime douche met shampoo, zeep, tandenborstel en zelfs scheermesje en scheerzeep.

We missen de klamboe vanwege de vele vliegen en insecten.

Schöne Anlage. Geräumiges Zimmer. Wunderbare Terrasse mit Hängematte zum Entspannen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Kurzer Weg zum Wilpattu Nationalpark. Sehr freundlicher Besitzer.

Durch das Fenster im Badezimmer kam sehr viel Ungeziefer herein. Ein Fliegennetz würde hier sofort Abhilfe schaffen und das Zimmer noch komfortabler machen.

Very friendly owner (fast and easy communication) and staff, great food (especially the curry!), perfect locations for nature lovers because there are all sorts of birds in the garden, nice little stroll to a nearby lake The Wilpattu tour organized was also very productive: we saw bears, elephants, leopards etc

fijne plek maar je hebt echt Maps nodig om het te vinden. neem voldoende drinken mee want er is helemaal niets. staff is zeer behulpzaam en maakt een eenvoudig ontbijt voor je, s' avonds kan er als je dat wilt (en dat wil je er is niets in dr buurt) voor je gekookt worden. Lief afscheids geschenk, een stenen olifantjes. als je een halve dag Wilpattu boekt rij je file, mogelijk is een hele dag beter. ben je in Afrika op Safari geweest sla dit park over.
