De locatie had veel stof onder de bedden. Dat had beter gekund. Beetje gehorig aan de straatkant.

Het is een rumoerige buurt. Veel lawaai van het verkeer, honden en zelfs een buurvrouw die ‘s nachts aan het schreeuwen was.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026I recently stayed at Le Gitel Apartments while on a motorcycle road trip with two old friends, and it was the perfect base for our visit to Spa, with the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit being one of the highlights of the trip. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The décor and facilities were of a very high standard, and the reception area on the ground floor created a great first impression. Everything felt modern, well-maintained, and welcoming. The only minor issue was that the main street outside the property was closed for upgrade works when we arrived, which meant we couldn't access the allocated parking spaces directly outside. However, there was a large free public car park just a short walk away, and we had no concerns about leaving our motorcycles there as it felt very safe. Spa itself is a charming town with beautiful gardens, impressive architecture, and plenty of bars, cafés, and restaurants to enjoy. It's a great place to explore and relax after a day of riding. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return. Next time, we'll be staying for longer than just one night. I would highly recommend Le Gitel Apartments to anyone visiting Spa.

we were both annoyed about the whole road outside had been taken up and there was work being done digging etc . We found out a few days before our trip and if we had known before we would have found alternative accommodation due to the massive hill you have to climb and we had heavy camera equipment moved twice a day

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026chambre très spacieuse, aménagement contemporain. Chambre sur l'arrière - calme. Grands espaces communs, très belle cuisine. Parking relativement facile à qq minutes à pied.
La propreté laissait à désirer (douche, crépine évier, coins, plinthes très très poussiéreuses). (remarque afin de vérifier le processus de nettoyage car il doit nettement être amélioré afin de garder ce beau studio en état). Matelas peu confortable.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026Large room. This place had so much potential. But for us, it missed the mark by a long way!
So much! The message informing us about it being a "little tricky" to find due to roadworks was such an understatement. It took a very long time, several dead ends, and lots of playing around with sat nav, maps and road signs to finally find this place. Arriving very hot and bothered, we hoped for a simple check in... however that couldn't be further from the truth. We had to park a long way from the apartment, and drag all of our stuff up a VERY steep and narrow hill, before being faced with 5 steep outside steps, then another 2 floors of uneven, slippery tiled, staircase with absolutely no rail or safety at all! Absolutely not suitable for kids or those with disabilities. Having limited mobility myself, this came as a HUGE surprise... and caused me a HUGE amount of pain and discomfort. Whilst the facilities appear to be ok at first glance and well thought through, everything is just filthy dirty! There is a covering of dust and/or dirt on every surface as can be seen in the photos. The blinds were hit and miss if they worked properly. The tv was constantly cutting in and out. The beds were not comfortable, and had metal hooks sticking out of the wall right next to them. The bedroom light was missing a shade of any kind. There was no fan or aircon of any kind - leaving it VERY stuffy inside with so much glass making it very hot! The sofa was quite uncomfortable. The fridge was set too cold and froze everything inside. The towels were small and had a musty smell to them. The pillows were as thin as the duvets. The view was ok if looking up the mountains, but if you looked down, it looked directly into people's gardens. The hige windows felt very overlooked. This place had so much potential. But for us, it missed the mark by a long way! The area was beautiful, so I will visit Spa again, but will not be rebooking here!

Reviewed May 17, 2026Echanges clairs et rapides avec les propriétaires. Gîte avec 4 chambres individuelles comme un hôtel (propre porte à clé, petit coin salon, et sdb/wc) et espace commun pratique et spacieux. Nous avions réservé les 4 chambres donc l'espace commun était 'privatisé'. Cependant il y a encore un appartement indépendant et les clients ont aussi accès à l'espace commun (pour leur clé). La proximité avec le centre et les thermes (en voitures car les thermes se trouvent très en hauteur de la ville). Les places de parking juste devant la maison.
La vaisselle n'était pas très propre. Le frigo est assez petit pour un groupe et ne dispose pas de congélateur. L'éclairage est très faible dans l'espace commun et ça résonne pas mal. Mais sinon tout était ok!

Reviewed May 11, 2026Good value for money, good location in town with plenty of parking in the nearby roads. The top apartment has nice views over the town and the kitchen was fairly well equipped.
Some areas were quiet dirty/dusty and the light above the bed was damaged/missing. I was only told about the roadworks outside at the last moment. The drainage was slow and smelly. The OSB wood floors gave me splinters.

La description du logement est équivoque : quand on parle d'un studio avec frigo et nécessaire à café, on ne s'attend pas à ce que soit dans une cuisine commune (très propre au demeurant). Mais alors on ne parle pas de studio mais de grande chambre. Il y a largement la place pour mettre un petit frigo et une bouilloire/machine à café dans le "studio". Les matelas étaient beaucoup trop mous. Enfin, il faudrait peut-être ajouter des lampes de chevet, une à chaque lit. Par ailleurs, on aurait aimé être prévenus qu'il y avait des travaux commençant à 6h45 du matin (!) dans la rue et rendant l'accès difficile avant le dépassement de la date limite d'annulation sans frais, et pas après notre arrivée.

Voor ons oudjes zou de 1e etage handiger geweest zijn omdat wij best vaak beneden iets gingen pakken uit de keuken. Er is geen lift dus de stappenteller had overwerk haha

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026Mein 2. Aufenthalt hier in Spa im Le Gite. Es waren 2 schöne Tage und ich habe mich erneut sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat mir an nichts gefehlt. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist bestens Ausgestattet, die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und gemütlich. Bäckerei ist auf der anderen Straßenseite (leider Montag und Dienstag geschlossen) ,Supermarkt ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und läg zum Wandern ein. Ich komme ganz bestimmt wieder.

Le parquet produit des échardes. La rue est très bruyante, nous avons dû fermer toutes les fenêtres pour réussir à dormir… mais il faisait très chaud et des ventilateurs auraient été bienvenus!

Radiators were making a very weird loud noice all night long, so I couldn’t get any sleep. Landlord was nice but didn’t offer any solution and just said maintenance would come.

The Open stair cases and the Lighting were slightly dangerous, the lights kept going out leaving you to negotiate the open staircase in the dark. There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, allthough was available in the shared kitchen - but no coffee or tea provided.

Das Appartement war sehr geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet was benötigt wird. Die Bäckerei auf der anderen Straßenseite ist sehr zu empfehlen. Supermarkt fußläufig erreichbar.

Reviewed Oct 21, 2025De accommodatie is slechts 5 minuten lopen vanaf het centrum van Spa. De kamers waren ruim, zeer schoon en comfortabel. Voor de accommodatie zijn 3 gratis parkeerplaatsen. Op de begane grond heb je een woonkamer, keuken en ruim zitgedeelte. De self check in was duidelijk en gemakkelijk. Bij problemen zijn de eigenaren gemakkelijk te bereiken via Whatsapp (of bellen).
Wij hadden (naar ons weten) de gehele accommodatie geboekt vanwege een groepsreis (4 studio’s). Echter was er op onze aankomstdag een onbekende vrouw in de woonkamer (zij had geen kamer geboekt) en de volgende dag kwam er een groep van 5 personen die de andere studio (#5) hadden geboekt. Normaal gesproken is dit geen probleem voor ons, maar omdat wij naar ons weten de gehele accommodatie hadden geboekt schrokken wij hier wel van.

Reviewed Oct 17, 2025Очень понравилось проживание. Удобно, комфортно, по-домашнему. Хозяева заботятся о чистоте. Комната просторная, светлая; большой душ. На общей кухне есть всё необходимое. Булочная находится напротив - приятно утром туда заглянуть за свежим круассаном или булочкой.
На мой вкус был слишком мягкий матрас на кровати. Отсутствие перил на лестнице меня не смутило, но может быть проблемой для более пожилых людей.

Hard to fault, although it is on what could be a busy road, although I was lucky as the road was closed for repairs so it was peaceful

L'escalier est très dangereux car il n'y a pas de rampe. Les minuteries dans l'escalier sont mal réglées: on se retrouve dans le noir entre deux étages. La douche, une fois mouillée est une patinoire : à peine douché j'ai glissé et je me suis blessé en tombant. Nous n'y reviendrons pas.
