I arrived late and had an early check out so didn't use any of the facilities. The staff however ensured that I could be available of a continental breakfast before leaving. The location is good for exploring west Donegal and excellent value.

Room smelt of damp although it was lovely and clean. TV worked intermittently. Had to turn it off and on a few times until I gave up and just used my laptop. Wifi not very sgrong.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff very attentive and helpful. Check in was very easy and receptionist more than helpful. Had dinner in hotel first evening and meal was very enjoyable. We were going to a wedding second day and reception organised taxis for us.

Si vous faites un copié collé de l'adresse donné par booking vous ferez comme moi un détour de 85km (x2 pour revenir sur ses pas !) Bon, à l'accueil elle s'en foutait pas mal...

Good location to access Inishbofin and Tory Islands. The bed was comfortable and the shower powerful. Chose this hotel as it was cheaper than most accommodation in the area

Even though they had very few people staying I was given probably the worst room possible on the ground floor room facing a very busy road. The noise of the traffic early morning and late at night was annoying. The windows in the ground floor rooms open outwards fully meaning the room is really insecure if leave them open. The food was only passable. Its a dated hotel but functional and clean. The WiFi wasnt great and the staff seemed in the main very indifferent , except the lads in the bar who were very lovely. It felt a bit like a community centre full of locals having food and lots of chat with the staff but as a tourist they had no interest at all in whether I was enjoying my stay or not or whether I enjoyed the food or not. Usually a receptionist would ask at least "how was your stay?" on checking out but no one asked. Maybe they get too many complaints! Won't be back.

Staff were nice enough to get me out of a room full of dust mites and smoke smell no further questions asked. The room they got me was a little modernised, new carpet, thermostat shower (not hot at 4:30 in the morning tho ) the staff were really friendly and super helpfull!

The price is simply too much for a room that stinks. I was lucky to get an other room this time. But if there are no other options you're f...ed if you have sensitive lungs. The shower was luke-warm at 4:30 in the morning. The doorstep between the room and the bathroom was not screwed in properly. Stepping on it barefoot, a screw hurt me. The bed has been back & forth so much there was a hump in the carpet. Once i got used to it . I didn't trip over it anymore. The head board on the bed is just one of those loose things on a few sticks that thay shovved behind it, to kinda make an overused old bed look like something decent. My back did not lie tho . The bed is not decent. I could feel the springs in my back and I needed to adjust with pillows for night 2. Not going here again. There are more comfortable places for less money.

It's a nice, a bit older, charming hotel. There's parking, the rooms feel homey.

Really nice staff on reception when I came in and checking out, room was excellent could park my bike right outside the window for piece of mind, my 2nd time there, will likely return

Das Frühstück war reichlich und gut.

Gleichzeitig mit unsererm Aufenthalt wurde eine Gruppe Kinder/Jugendliche (ca. 30 Pers.) beherbergt. Wir sind uns Nachtruhe ab ca. 2200Uhr gewohnt. Nun ja, andere Länder, andere Sitten. Das Hotel kann da jedoch nicht viel dafür.

Lower ground room facing the front road, so noisy with cars passing g by and couldn’t leave window open as on ground floor, very old decor and key cards were a bit of a nuisance

A very friendly and helpful receptionist Aionya checked us in. She was very helpful with information and even carried my bag to the room. Our room was large and comfortable with plenty of room for two suitcases. Easy to find with lots of parking. We ate at The Strand which was a 4 minute drive. Really good food in a local pub. Comfy bed.

The journey to Gortahork took longer than expected, but staff called us and when we arrived, they made sure we still can get dinner. As it was Easter weekend, hotel was very busy feeding all the visitors, big family celebrations, but still they accommodated our late dinner booking. Very warm hosts. Good start point for outdoor activities.

In case of bad weather not many options of indoor activities in the area...
