Ingenting!

Reviewed Jan 30, 2026Absolutely nothing
Communication from the staff is absolutely unreliable, I had an agreement to be picked up at the airport at around 16-16:30, they probably forgot about that, as the driver was probably arranged later than that, he came around 18:30, when I already lost my patience and ordered my on lift, which had cost me almost double the price.
Upon my arrival, the guy at reception said: hi, what is your name? And he gave me a paper with wifi passwords. Thats it. Nothing. I asked (as I was dead hungry after a flight+waiting at the airport) if they have anything to eat, and he told me that their restaurant is closed since October due to less and less guests that they have.
Than I asked for water, as they didn't even had an option to pour myself at least some water...they brought me a jar and took me to my tent.
Another surprise was waiting for me. Not only that they are deceiving with pictures on booking, everything inside tent is anything but that. Tent inside is green, air conditioning is directly above bed, and the water from aircon was dripping down on table, below was the electricity, so this is also very unsafe.
I was planning to stay here 7days, but after I arrived, I changed my mind as this was absolutely not what I was expecting.
The next day I wrote officially to whatsup that I wish to cancel and I will leave and I gave my reasons and also asked politely to return my money for 6 nights.
Booking app unfortunately didn't work, so I wasn't able to cancel within the app.
They promised me that the owners will return on 12.1. And will give me a refund.
When I later wrote them, of course as expected (it goes together with their facility standards) they wrote me that they will not refund me.
This place is absolutely horrible, and was the worst possible experience in my whole trip in Philippines.

Extremely loud neighbourhood noises, bathroom was extremely dirty and scary, second bed was literally a mattress on the floor, the location wasn’t close to anything, no amenities, the restaurant on site wasn’t open so there was nothing to eat, this place is a huge disappointment. We left after one night and lost our second night’s payment.

Reviewed May 18, 2025It was excellent stay at Bohol with beautiful garden and very helpful staff. Definitely we'll come back one day....
A large, beautiful resort in a quiet location. We received a good breakfast in the morning, and for dinner, ingredients for a DIY barbecue by the large pool. The only downside is the restaurant's limited menu options. Our tent was surprisingly spacious with quiet AC - I expected something worse than a standard hotel room, but the air quality turned out to be excellent and we slept wonderfully. This might have been thanks to the tent's high ceiling. The tent was connected to a bathroom with hot water. An excellent place that comes highly recommended!

Reviewed Apr 19, 2025The location was good for us and the pool itself is nice, large and clean. It looked like they did try to do something with recent negative feedback (google reviews) by providing earplugs and offering by them selfs to move us to another tent for the last two nights due to road noice.
This was supposed to be a more luxury splurge during our budget travels, but turned out to be less of a quality than most of the budget accommodations we had in the Philippines, which were about a third of the price we paid for this. It probably once was pretty, but never maintained, decs fall apart, sheets with holes and stains, no maintaining in garden or accommodations. Animal poop in bathroom area. Only a few picnics tables around the pool, no chairs or sun beds. When power was out, there was no generator. When asked, the answer was they hadn’t had it fixed after it broke down. Basic but okay breakfast.

Owner is lovely, the glamping pods are cool and the pool is great but unfortunately there were a lot of things which let this place down.
The place felt very neglected. All of the chairs in the outside seating area are broken or dirty meaning there is no place to relax by the pool. There is a bar next to the pool but it is empty and they don't serve drinks. The loos don't have loo seats and the food is bad with the service incredibly slow (it took over an hour to get our food on both days). It's worth noting that there are no other food options nearby. The place has great potential but for us, it didn't hit the mark.

Reviewed Dec 29, 2024• The owner seems to be a nice guy; however, we only met him during checkout.
• The swimming pool is clean and spacious.
• Most of the staff do not speak English, and they appear indifferent to their work and the guests. There were several instances of incompetence that completely ruined what could have been a pleasant experience. During three weeks in the Philippines, where almost everyone spoke English, even in the most rural areas, and displayed exceptional cheerfulness and hospitality, encountering staff who were mostly unfriendly and unable to communicate in English was truly remarkable.
• The location is poor. The resort is in the middle of nowhere interesting and is very close to the road. It doesn't feel like you're in the jungle at all. Additionally, for two consecutive evenings, we could hear loud karaoke from a nearby event, which destroyed any chance of relaxation. You can also hear every scooter passing on the nearby road.
• The resort does not provide scooter rentals. At 5 PM, we informed the staff that we wanted to rent scooters for the next day at 8 AM. We were told they would be ready by 9:30 AM. However, at 8:30 AM, a staff member informed us that we had to go to the port (check Google Maps to see how ridiculous this is) and bring the scooters ourselves. We returned from the port at 12:00 PM.
• The breakfast was terrible. They served the cheapest ham and bread, and the bread was moldy.

We have done glamping across the world but this is the worst we have ever experienced.
Place is absolutely delapidated.
The domes were not clean or comfortable
In one we had a net and toilet seat, in the other neither so we requested. And no, it is not an ‘Asian thing’ to have no toilet seat.
The bar is just a fridge with a lock on it. Dirty.
The bathroom itself isn’t just rustic, it is just very very poor quality accommodation. Water heater but cold shower. Dust everywhere, broken furniture, dirty pool, bbq grill was revolting we didn’t eat that night- the kitchen is full of mould.
See the REAL photos attached not the filtered insta-worthy photos on their site.
We left as soon as we could.

BEEARE!! Location is costly to get too and not close to anything. 45 minutes to anywhere! Staff not friendly at all. The breakfast was cheap sliced ham and watermelon cooked in a dirty mouldy kitchen and you were to eat it on stained plates. The food (what little there was) was left out and not covered so yup flies! The mattresses were dirty and stained, they had even put one on the ground and stormed around to bring bed frames when I complained. I pushed for them to bring sheets and blankets for them and they even tried to bring old wet blankets to use. Location is far from everything!! No good food for miles! Rent a scooter in town. So many bugs so bring spray! Toilets with no toilet paper, open ceilings and lots of critters. Not worth the money
The Tent was really well made, the garden wirh pool was beautiful and the shared bathroom nicely made. Everything was clean.
I would say the location is not the best on the Island, if you have a scooter and want to be a little of the tourist highway, this is a good option.
Food supply is a little bit a trick here, you need to cook yourself and buy stuff on a local market (10min drive) or you need to go far to find a restaurant. We cooked once, unfortunately we found the kitchen did not match the standard of the rest of the facility.
The owner of the place is very accommodating and can help you with pretty much any request you have. The location is good and very close to the chocolate hills. The drive from the harbour can take a little while though.

Reviewed Sep 18, 2024I liked that the place had a pool and the concept of the resort. They did communicate well on day of arrival and we checked in really late which was useful.
I didn’t like that they didn’t have a great menu to choose from or someone to cook for (kitchen) considering they’re not near many restaurants, it seemed they’re missing a trick there. Also found the driver they’d arranged to take myself and my friend asking very high prices for a day rate 3900 she wanted and in the end settled on 2200 for just two locations which took not much more than 4 hours of her time. Then we’d discovered the sign in their lobby with prices where on which only confirmed they’d tried to take advantage and felt that way. Considering this was the most expensive place we’d paid for after 3 locations and for the shortest period, it felt over priced and under value.

We really liked the setting of the hotel. They provided a pickup and a free scooter was offered to us to visit all the attractions the island had to offer. It was a very friendly and helpful staf.
For us the highlight was a small ginger kitten who lived there. She is injured on her leg, but let us help her with her wounded leg. We desinfected it. We would've loved to take this sweet kitten home to Belgium to give her a forever home, but unfortunately this was not possible to arrange on such short notice.
