We chose this hotel, as it was the cheapest on this platform, within 15 minutes of the train station. It was so cheap, we weren't expecting too much, but we were absolutely blown away. The shower was amazing, better than many 4 star hotels we have stayed in. They actually supplied high quality toliet paper, another rareity! Check in staff were super friendly and helpful, and it is obvious they are geared up for foreigners, as everything is in English. They helped us order food on Meituan, and ensured it was delivered to our door. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Honestly, I do not know why this is listed as a 3 star hotel, as it is better than many 4 star hotels. The price was also an absolute bargain, at under a tenner per person per night, with breakfast included. Incredible!

Being picky, but the view isn't very nice, and the room is compact, but for a one night stay on the way to the train station, who cares? There is literally nothing else to criticise, expect maybe some of the public areas smell a bit of smoke, but again, nothing major.

Very inconveniently located. Earlier I had stayed in another PACO hotel in Gungzhaou , they provided the bus to the Canton fair, was near the subway station. this was far, from canton fair and the station. No vegetarian breakfast choice. I lived on just white bread for five days. No one understood or speak English. It was difficult to communicate even with help of the translation app. Staff was very efficient in booking the taxi.

Very clean, friendly staff. Good food selection. The lady works in restaurants was very lovely and very helpful too.

The property itself great. Quiet, clean, good design. Comfy bed with quiet aircon. Nice pillows too.

The breakfast staff were very attentive to our every need. The choice was far too local and limited, however, and we would have appreciated more options.

An extremely long check-in procedure. Systematic scanning of all room occupants' passports. Not being told to pay on the spot. After hours on the plane and arriving at 2.30 am, we would have appreciated being received differently, as we were very tired.

Rooms are very good and clean, breakfast was exceptional, staff are very friendly and helpful.

Only issue is location, very far from Guangzhou city, need to take few trains from hotel to city.

I liked the location near the railway station. I chose this hotel as I had to take a train the day after. Breakfast was also adequate. Helpful service.

It is located in an industrial, dusty part of town and the hotel facade was a tad old. But it is a good choice if you have a train to catch from the railway station.

Clean and comfortable room. Receptionist is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also well recommended as it has good variety of western and chinese food & drinks.

Everything was excellent except misunderstanding and miscommunication in my intended tour where tour operator didn’t include a Pickup arrangement at the hotel. Although there was an arrangement to go to another hotel for meeting for tour start . Of course I missed the time schedule and the tour .no refunds of money paid when I requested it.

Paco hotel is a great hotel near the Guangzhou South Train station. It had comfortable beds and the staff were very friendly and helped us get around the city.

Very bad

One of best free breakfast I have ever had at a hotel besides open 15 munites earlier for me since needed to catch the train early morning and also booked a taxi for me. I strongly recommend it to everyone.

Not the best location, a little bit far from everything. I had to prepay, but there the payment had been declained, so we have to make the payment again with worst fx rate. They cannot speak in English at all.

This place exceeded my expectations! Really affordable price for the quality provided, adding on, the breakfast buffet was delicious! We stayed there as it was 20 min drive away from the railway station south, which we used didi to hail a cab.

Only downside is there are more smoking levels than non-smoking levels, but, when we entered the room, we cannot smell the lingering cigarette smell in the alley :) The hotel to the city centre is close to 40 min drive (still worth as we used didi to bring us there).

No table and luggage console in the rooms and no wardrobe.

Super friendly staff and very helpful. We 've been there to attend canton fair. Took around 45min to 1hr to get to the fair during peak time. Use DiDi taxi service. Very delicious buffet for the breakfast with many varieties.
