SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Diego Rancho Bernardo-Scripps Poway

The breakfast had some great choices. Location of the property was perfect because of close family in Poway and Scripps Ranch. The room was clean except for the note I will make in the next question. Bed was comfortable and when I needed anything staff was very accommodating.

The shower enclosure has a lot of rust around the bottom of it. To us this was not acceptable. This was very disappointing. Because of that I may not choose this hotel for my next visit.

Excellent customer service Breakfast was abundant with many items to choose from Room was clean, perfect space and microwave and frig was an added convenience. Parking was near and affordable I will return next year!

You can tell it was another hotel that needs a lot of work. When you turn the water off, you can hear the water still draining in the pipes. The fan to the bathroom sound like a motor when you turn it on.

Originally booked for 1 king bed, then upon arrival was told “there were plumbing issues with the king rooms” and I got “upgraded” to 2 twin beds. How is that an upgrade? Then the toilet flusher was broken and water was running. Let front desk know, then I got a king room… but yet they had plumbing issues?

The bed was comfortable, nice shower, and I liked that it was not just a regular sofa bed but a trundle.

I did not like that there was a foul sewer order and I did not like that the toilet did not have a powerful flush! Also, my coffee maker did not work, it was missing the top part that you put the coffee grinds into. I also didn't like that the bathroom vanity wasn't bright or that you couldn't adjust the brightness.

The parking

I didn’t like that there were lots of kids staying there running from the pool to the exercise room soaking wet and goofing around. Then Proceeded to “ding ding door ditch” our door which had the “sleeping” hanger outside. They could be heard running around back and forth on the 4th floor close to 11pm knocking on doors. It was very disrespectful. Wouldn’t have been a big deal if we didn’t have a small child trying to sleep

Breakfast was great! Location was very central and easy to get to and from the airport.

The AC unit was an older model and we were hot both nights. We asked the maintenance staff to take a look but they told us it is what is is.

On previous occasions when I stayed at this hotel, a delicious hot breakfast was provided. However, during my most recent stay, fresh fruit was no longer available. The yogurt was unappetizing. Furthermore, breakfast is no longer served at 6:00 AM as it used to be; the schedule is now listed as 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Yet, the 9:30 AM cutoff is misleading, as they begin closing down and clearing everything away by 9:00 AM—preventing guests from getting any food—so the actual window is now effectively from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Housekeeping service has also been reduced; rooms are no longer cleaned—only fresh towels are provided. Despite these downgrades, the price remains just as high; honestly, the quality has declined significantly. The kitchenette area in my room was in disrepair; although they attempted to fix the sink, it continued to make an unpleasant noise.

I think the staff and the manager used to be much better than they are now. The hotel looks nice on the outside, but it is very cheap on the inside.

Facility is clean, friendly staff

carpet at the 3rd floor is peeling off and my mom tripped. We stayed from thrusday to tuesday and breakfast was scrambled egg and turkey patty, for 5 days, on Tuesday they change it to thin ham.

It was ok, nothing to write home about.

The lighting in front of the bathroom sink is not good. It could use an overhead light. Not used to the lights going off, especially when you're in the shower

I had a great stay at SpringHill Suites San Diego Rancho Bernardo/Scripps Poway. The hotel offers very good value for money, especially considering the quality of the amenities and service. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of options, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay—I would definitely recommend it.

The sheets were dirty. Breakfast time was too crowed. food was run out and staff didn’t bring any to refill it like toast, bagels and yogurt

The hotel was very clean. Plenty of parking. The pool towels were always available outside. The staff were really nice and helpful. Coffee was always available in the lobby for guest along with infused water and fruit.

Hotel charges $150 PLUS tax for pet fee( the highest I ever paid for pet fee), a $15 a day parking fee! .. there’s plenty of parking ( it’s not New York City )

The location is great. The staff were all very nice and the room is very nice. The lighting in the bathroom is not good and it was difficult getting ready in the morning.

Customer service. Another customer next to me was a loyalty member and was treated great. My sister booked this reservation for me and I forgot to tell her I was a loyalty member and I was given little to no information about the facility’s and no mention of the breakfast.

The bathtub wasn’t clean it still had hair in it from whoever stayed there before me so I had to clean it out myself 😩 It was also missing the coffee cup to make coffee but other than that everything else was great☺️

The breakfast was good. They had a variety to choose from. So, there was something for everyone. The waffles were the best. Real maple syrup would have been better than the fake stuff. ( I’m from New England) The hotel was convenient to my son’s house. The room was comfortable.

A room farther away from the elevator. People are noisy when waiting for elevator. Not your fault though.

It feels dingy. The walls looked dirty with splashes and swipe marks. The lobby and breakfast area felt dirty.

The place is clean. Great customer service , food is also just right for breakfast . We did try the exercise area (side comment to provide a paper towel for we forgot to bring our own towel to wipe our sweat ) ample parking space and nearby restaurants to choose from that you can just walk. Overall totally happy

Les lits sont trop petits pour y dormir à 2. Lit de 120. Nous étions 4 avec 2 lits doubles de 120. Nous avons dû demander des draps supplémentaires pour mettre les ados dans le canapé convertible car ce n'était pas prêt.
