Every part of our stay was an amazing experience, it was our first time at a diving hotel and we are positively surprised with everything. The room was stunning, comfortable and the location is great in front of the beach. Everything was so well organised around diving trips, there was no stress of missing anything, we could just relax, reload batteries and enjoy the flow. The food was absolutely delicious and well planned! Every meal was a fantastic experience, some even at the boat or at the beach. The chef went above and beyond to prepare extra meals for our diet restrictions, which made this stay also feel so special. Another lovely part of the experience was the staff and the positive vibe of this place I will never forget: both hotel staff and boat and dive team were so amazing people, friendly and skilled. We can’t wait to come back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An amazing 8-night stay – exactly as wonderful as the reviews say! We stayed at Boutique Beach All Inclusive Diving Hotel for eight nights as a couple, and our experience was exactly as described in all the amazing reviews we had read before coming. In fact, those reviews were one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, and we are very happy we did! Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side when we arrived, and we had quite a lot of rain during the first few days. But from the very beginning, the team made us feel incredibly welcome. We were greeted with fresh coconut, shown to our room and given time to settle in and rest. Everything about the hotel and how the week would work was then explained to us calmly and clearly, so we immediately felt at home. A special mention has to go to the food, which was absolutely delicious! Every meal was something to look forward to, and we especially loved the fresh fruit juices served with the meals – the passion fruit juice was our absolute favourite! A huge thank you to Saeed, who looked after us so well during every meal, and of course to the chef, who did an amazing job throughout our stay. We don’t eat meat, but we do eat fish, and he always made sure there were delicious alternatives prepared for us. We never felt like we were missing out on anything. The diving programme is very well organised. Every evening at around 7 pm, the dive team meets with you and explains the plan for the following day. Most days then follow a nice routine: wake up early, have breakfast, head out on the boat for two or sometimes three dives, come back for lunch and then have the afternoon to relax. Because of the weather, we spent some of our afternoons relaxing in our room, but there were always some dry moments when we could get outside, walk around and enjoy the island. In the evening, it was time for the next day’s briefing, followed by dinner, and then the adventure started all over again the next morning!

The only thing we were a little disappointed about was the organisation of one particular diving day. Three dives were planned that day, while we were scheduled to do only two. We were therefore picked up from the hotel after the other group had completed their first dive, so that we could join them for the second and third dives. Unfortunately, we later found out that the first dive had been an incredible one, with lots of sharks. On our last day, we also heard the dive master introducing that same dive site to some newly arrived guests as one of the most beautiful dives in the area. Of course, this made us a little sad that we hadn’t had the opportunity to experience it ourselves, especially since it sounded like such a special dive. That was really the only small disappointment during an otherwise wonderful stay.

EVERYTHING. Listen to those amazing reviews and the repeat customers, most of the people had been 3-5 times already! And I would be back next week if I could. I will miss everyone, the staff are amazing, the diving SO SAFE and organised with amazing dive guides. Special shout out to David who is incredible and Saeed whose smile made my day every day. It’s so well run, the rooms are amazing and the food is JUST DELICIOUS. Don’t hesitate!

This Dive Resort is the BEST place if you like Diving and want to explore Maldives. 1. Diving: we have been diving for a while and I can promise you that the level of safety consciousness of this group is second to none. They do an amazing job of offering a variety of experiences for you- including but not limited to locating Whale Sharks, Manta Rays, Octopus, All sorts of sharks as well as Nudibranch and little things if that is what you are interested in. They have their own boat. They have their own dive staff which are an international group of young guides who are as excited to spot things as you are. There is also a Marine Biologist in the group who will give you some lectures in the evening. They take care of everything for you and are extremely efficient. This was 5 star PADI experience I expect and never get when I travel. 2. Service: Unbelievable. From Mette who is their social media director (as well as everything else) orienting you to all the things, as well as coordinating your departure in the most timely fashion to all the staff including the chef as well as your daily server for your. 3. Food. What can we say? The variety of delicious and fresh fruit and vegetables is truly endless. We love all of it. Whether you are a picky eater, or you love exotic tastes and combinations, there's just the right meal for you. Every single night. We also loved on longer on the boat days where they would pack our meals, it was always decadent. No simple sandwich which is what I would have imagined. 4. The people. This place will treat you like a family. When you see people, they are either returning for their 3rd or 4th trip. Or if it's their first time, they are making plans to come back again. Every single person who works there will smile and try to make your life easier. 5. The cleanliness. This may not be on every diver's list, but if you are going with your partner and she/he is picky about where they are staying, the place is spotless. They call it a simple luxury and I think that is a lovely way to sum it up.

First visit to the Maldives and Boutique Beach was our 2nd atoll we visited. We wanted to stay on a resort island and a local island and also for my husband to scuba dive whilst there. Boutique Beach was friendly and excellent at communicating from the moment we booked until the final wave bye. It was the only accommodation out of the 3 that reassured us about transfers and gave us clear info.We were given a choice of transfers to and from the island and we chose domestic plane/boat ride. We found the domestic plane a bit long winded and hot so when we arrived they kindly changed the return to speedboat.On arrival we were met by a lovely team and felt like family until the moment we left. My husband is a scuba diver and this hotel is outstanding for diving. The days/food are literally planned around the dives and he spent 2 whole days out on the boat with the team and other guests and loved every minute. The staff were professional and fun he saw manta rays, turtles, whale sharks, dolphins, octopus etc.Although not a diver /snorkeler myself the staff were supportive and offered me the opportunity to join them on the boat or teach me to snorkel. I decided to just enjoy the time on the island. The staff at the hotel still included me with everything.The food was lovely and freshly cooked by the amazing chef with fresh juice with every meal. The staff could not do enough for us as guests. Our bedroom was on the ground floor and was lovely with an open shower which was amazing to hear nature at night. We recommend anyone who wants to visit a local island to visit Dhigurah and if you enjoy diving, snorkelling or would like to try these then Boutique beach is a must! My husband also had a problem with his ears after diving at the first island and they reassured him and offered to accompany him to the local doctor if needed.

Good onboard toilet, water & towels, rinsing showers, tank for camera equipment, front & top decks for sunbathing.

The small number of rooms, the closeness of the beach, the very friendly Hotel & Scuba Diving staff, the delicious food, the comfortable bed, the great outside bathroom with shower, the peaceful position. Fantastic scuba diving boat with excellent crew, toilet, showers on rear boat deck, safe boat & diving procedures, expert & knowledgeable scuba diving instructors, good quality rental equipment, great snorkeling sites for non-divers, accurate Nitrox tank fills (Nitrox 32 was always 32%) & delicious snacks, tea, coffee & readily available water. Lovely front deck sunbathing & more space on the top floor. Brilliant diving sites with manta rays, whalesharks, sharks, tuna, Napoleon Wrasse, stingrays, moray eels & a profusion of colourful reef fish. The diving instructors were very skilled at spotting everything including the well camouflaged octopus.

My wife and I, together with our daughter, spent ten nights at Boutique Beach Hotel, located on Dhigurah Island, a local inhabited island in the South Ari Atoll, Maldives. We choose to fly from Male International Airport to Maamigili International Airport by Villa Air, a domestic Maldivian airline, which took approximately 30 minutes. We were then transported by speedboat to Dhigurah which took approximately 15 minutes, where we were then met by Boutique Beach staff and transported to the hotel. My wife’s and I deluxe room with large double bed, modern open-air bathroom with rain shower, air conditioning, overhead fan, work desk with USB charging ports, minibar, and coffee maker, was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Our room also had a balcony with chairs and table. Our daughters standard room located next to the main hotel, with double bed, en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, overhead fan, minibar, and coffee maker, was also spacious, comfortable, and clean. The room also had a lounge area and terrace. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all included as part of our all-inclusive package, and all meals were superb, particularly the desserts which were absolutely delicious. All our dietary requirements were well catered for. Most meals were served on the ground floor dining area where you could sit and relax with your feet on the beach sand covered floor. On some evenings when the weather conditions were suitable, dinner was served on the lovely, decorated rooftop dining area under the stars, which was very pleasant, and enjoyable. Unlimited complimentary coffee, tea, various soft drinks, and biscuits were also available throughout the day. Each night, everyone eagerly gathered together for the dive briefing, and to watch the daily dive video consisting of edited footage submitted by divers, which was then also uploaded to YouTube. On some nights there were also interesting presentations on mantas, whale sharks, and reef sharks. Our divemaster’s, Seb, Lucinda and Cam, were friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced divers, who ensured that the dive team was well looked after, safe at all times, and that everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. All the dives were excellent, and we were spoilt with an abundance of marine life, including, white-tip, silver-tip, and grey reef sharks, as well as barracuda, tuna, snappers, fusiliers, turtles, rays, eels, octopus, scorpion fish, stone fish, leaf fish, trigger fish, clown fish, lobsters, nudis, and lots of other amazing marine life. Our diving highlight however, had to be all our dives and snorkels with mantas and whale sharks, which were absolutely incredible. During our stay we also enjoyed wandering around and exploring the island, including the beautiful 3 km long white sand beach, and the sand bar, and all the various shops. The local school also organized a fundraiser, selling homemade cakes and other local delicacies, which were very tasty. All the staff, and particularly Mette, Saeed, Kawsar, James, Chef Shanthi, and Chef Amith, were extremely efficient, and friendly, ensuring that we were well looked after at all times, making sure that everything was handled perfectly to ensure a truly memorable stay. Overall, we had an excellent stay at Boutique Beach, and definitely hope to visit again.

I had an awesome time staying and diving with Boutique Beach. They do a great job of taking care of all of their guests and make sure that you have an amazing experience. Like all the other reviews have said, the food was incredible and the staff was very friendly. Probably the best dive operation that I've been to!

Boutique Beach is almost 11 tears old and is actively and professionally managed on the local island of Dhigurah. Romney, one of the two owners is passionate about the Maldives, Dhigurah and diving (and not necessarily in that order)! The accommodation is good with very effective air conditioning, I had everything I needed in my room and nothing I did not! The focus is very much on the diving with daily trips to two or three dive sites. These can and do leave early (0700) to get the best experience when the fish are most active. On board the BB team (recognisable in their personalised blue T-shirts or whale shark rashguards) assist the guests with their equipment and all aspects of safety. Every care is taken to ensure guests have the best time. Food and snacks are provided onboard to keep up the energy levels. Food allergies and preferences are very carefully catered for and respected. Food choices at mealtimes are limited but the chef is expert in making every meal tasty, energy-giving and nutritious but there is no fine dining. Do not forget that this hotel is for a very active, go-go holiday. While there have been older & younger guests, most were in the 30-65 age range when I was there. It is not for a fly and flop. There are no alcoholic cocktails or beers by the pool, out of respect for the local culture and why do you need a pool if there is the sea? It is for divers who want to see the best underwater sites hosted and guided by an expert team who care.

We are a diving couple in our late 30s with around 100 dives each. We chose Boutique Beach for the first part of our first Maldives diving trip because of the great reviews, local island experience and of course the all-inclusive diving concept created by divers. But what we found exceeded all our expectations: Boutique Beach was the most personal and heartfelt vacation we have ever experienced. The team takes care of everything with incredible attention and warmth: From handling all (!) your dive equipment – from tank changes to rinsing and storage – to recording videos from the dives while fulfilling your diving bucket list, always with great respect for the ocean and its stunning inhabitants. But also above the surface the team naturally creates unforgettable moments like beach barbecues, trips around the local island or picturesque swimming spots with “Robinson Crusoe” feeling. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our first Maldives vacation truly unforgettable, and especially to Mette, our wonderful dive guide. She is without doubt one of the best dive guides we have ever had, especially in terms of safety but always with the right sense of humour. She made every dive pure joy. We arrived as guests and left feeling like family. Boutique Beach is not just a place to stay – it is a feeling we will never forget.

Quello che non sapevamo è che al boutique beach avremo incontrato una famiglia! Il personale è semplicemente fantastico! Accoglienza meravigliosa e attenzione ai dettagli! Come dimenticare i sorrisi e i succhi di frutta fresca di Saeed, il lavoro instancabile di Mette e il lavoro eccezionale dello chef! Einfach traumhaft! Ich und mein Mann reisen wirklich viel aber sowas haben wir noch nie erlebt. Es sind alle unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer ist groß und sauber. Das Essen ist sehr sehr gut und man bekommt immer genug. Wir waren zu Weihnachten dort und es war wunderschön . Jeder Gast hat ein Geschenk bekommen und es hat ein besonderes Menü am Strand gegeben und man musste kein Aufpreis dafür zahlen. Das Tauchen ist super organisiert Am Vorabend bespricht man die Tauchziele für den nächsten Tag, es ist alles sehr professionell und sie arbeiten sehr genau. Unsere Tauchlehrer waren top und haben uns immer ein gutes Gefühl gegeben. Wer ein Tauchurlaub machen will ist hier sicher bestens aufgehoben. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Danke!!

The property was beautiful and extremely thought out and very comfortable. We have never experienced such a smooth diving experience and every member of staff was outstanding, and made every step of diving feel calm and relaxing, removing all stress. The food was just fab, so many flavours and the chef and staff were extremely attentive and cooked from the heart. If we would have known how magical the hotel, staff and diving experience was, we would have stayed longer. We will be returning and booking again for next year. Boutique Beach is a wonderful small dive hotel. The staff is warm and friendly and eager to help make your stay good in any way they can. We have dived all over the world and stayed in small and large resorts. Boutique Beach is one of the best small dive-focused operations we have every stayed at. The dive team is extremely professional; there are 6 dive instructors, which is unusual for a small operation. We hired a private dive guide, Mette, and she was the best we have ever had. She was extremely focused on helping us to dive the way we wanted to. We stayed in a suite which was new with great design elements, good air con and hot water never ran out. The chef was excellent, and all meals were great.

We had the most incredible experience at Boutique Beach. Initially during the booking stage the personalised communications with Afzal was very helpful and he was able to take a lot of the stress out making the arrangements. When we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and part of the group. Our room was lovely and comfortable and a great place to relax at the end of the day. The team took care of us on and off the boat. We had Jax as our diving guide and he made us feel relaxed and safe with his very professional standards and his chilled personality. David and Jacob were available to provide us with guidance and Jacob's enthusiasm and knowledge of marine life was contagious. Shohag was outstanding and equally enthusiastic about marine life, and the Captain Shahid kept us safe and made sure our transitions back on the boat were as easy as possible. Both of us have dietary requirements and this was well catered for. Siaad was always quick to take care of us at every meal with drinks and other specific food for us. Chef was outstanding, we enjoyed the food so much and always felt content after every meal. We would recommend the hotel on the food alone due to Chef. Our experience we thought was a once in a life time trip but we fell in love with the place and have planned another trip back next year.

The people's kindness, the nature around, the twilight at the beach every evening, make Dhigurah a magical place. But, appart this, we were impressed by BB place, Boutique Beach remained in our hearts, as we could not imagine. The kindness of all the staff, in particular Saeed and Chef, who made every meal, every coffee, every moment at the BB special. Meal are delicious, prepared every day with care and love, fresh juices at each meal. The professionalism of all the staff, the attention to detail, even they take care that nothing is missing, for example, making a special meal for me (no fish) even when lunch was at the boat.  They provide you with everything you need: towels for the beach, towels at the boat, amenities, rooms are spacious and the cleanliness is excellent. It is close to the beach so you can enjoy the beach, 10 minutes walking from bikini beachs. About the diving, just AMAZING, professionals guides, that explain you every evening what we saw during the dives, and what we expect the day after. A convivial moment with the rest of the guests. They take care about your diving equipment and make it ready for the next day. Thank you to all the BB staff, we will certainly come back ! !

We came here on recommendation and can easily see why. Many other guests, we met on this trip, come here every year. This hotel caters greatly to divers and snorkelers and non divers. Which makes it great for couples of mixed interests. We spent 6 days diving, the diving team are incredible. They go to great lengths to accommodate everyone and make the trip perfect for everyone. The chef and team are amazing. Food was perfect and really tasty, the fresh juices were a great treat to look forward to. Every arriving guest gets a fresh coconut to drink and on leaving you get a specially cooked treat. You do get looked after well The hospitality team always made sure the room is comfortable and clean. Everyone worked hard in the background for us to have a relaxing trip. This is greatly appreciated it. I already recommended this hotel to my diver friends.

If you want to go diving in the South-Ari Atoll this is the place to go! Everything is just amazing, location, food, staff and divesites. The diving was just one of a kind. All the staff is so friendly and they do everything in their power to make your stay perfect - we immediately felt at home and enjoyed our stay so much. We will be back for sure! We spent one of the most wonderful weeks of our lives at the Boutique Beach Hotel. We are still beginner divers and couldn't have imagined a more beautiful place for our first special dives. The team is super friendly and professional, and we felt safe and well looked after the whole time. The dive sites are varied, and it's hard to believe how much biodiversity can be reached within a short boat ride from the hotel. Thanks to David for organizing everything and especially to Jax, with whom we spent most of our dives. We also really enjoyed the short presentations by marine biologist Jacob. It was very interesting to learn so much new information about both the manta rays and the whale sharks. This allowed us to enjoy our time with the animals underwater even more and also shows that the entire team cares deeply about ethical animal encounters, which was very important to us as well. Special thanks again to Chef Shanthi and his team, who prepared every meal for us with incredible care and love, and to Saeed, who made us laugh at every meal with his personality. Many thanks also to Mette, who really does everything to make your stay perfect. You feel like you're part of a big family at this hotel. It was nothing less than the best vacation we ever had. I can write al lot what was so perfect but that has almost all been written here before I am sure. Cook, rooms, hospitality, I think it has all already been mentioned in reviews. The whole experience makes you cry when you have to leave because it implies a feeling that you are leaving a part of your family that took care of you 24/7 and tried to give you an increadible experience. No matter what you may need, the team tries to make it happen, even if it's not related to the vacation in Boutique Beach itself. I just have to mentioned that if you are looking for a typical Malidives resort experience you might be not in the right place. Compared to that it's a tiny calm place to dive and relax and you get a more natural island than anywhere around. For Afzal: thanks for helping with crossroads, it worked out just fine!

El personal. Tanto los trabajadores del hotel como los del barco de buceo, son excepcionales. Buenas personas que se esfuerzan en hacer que tu estancia allí sea inigualable. Gracias a Mette, David, Shaed, Jacob, Sohag, Deswhar, por habernos cuidado en todo momento. Las habitaciones tienen de todo, no les falta un detalle, y el baño al aire libre es una gozada. La comida es deliciosa, el chef Shanti la hace casera y es un espectáculo de sabores, he querido repetir todos los días.

No es como tal una queja, pero un jardín le vendría genial al sitio, para descansar un rato después de la comida o la cena, que no apetece ir a la playa.

Creo que no hay espacio suficiente para describir nuestra estancia. Nos sentimos como en familia desde el primer minuto, todos amabilísimos, instalaciones estupendas y comida inmejorable(gracias Afzal por la resolución de todas las dudas durante la reserva, Mette por ser nuestra guía en todo momento hasta que el seeboat se alejaba…, Saeed por tu atención contínua para que no nos faltara de nada durante las comidas, James tan detallista con nosotros, Chef Shanthi que nos hizo verdaderas delicias con ayuda de Chef Amith, y durante los buceos Sonag e Ibrahim que fueron los cuidadores mientras nos recuperábamos de las inmersiones. Y gracias también a los divers Jacob, Jax pero sobretodo a nuestro David, que no tenemos palabras para describir cómo se desvive y se ve lo que disfruta y le gusta su trabajo. Con personas así, da gusto convivir y mucha pena volver.

If we could, we'd give more than five stars - we had such a great time at Boutique Beach and it was just perfect from A to Z: Beautiful hotel, wonderful island - but what makes it so special are the amazing people that make the experience possible. The chefs in the kitchen, the staff catering for the guests' needs, the fantastic dive instructors and simply everyone involved. Thanks so much - we'd love to return one day!

Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The whole team was superb, food was excellent, rooms were spacious and comfy, bathroom was amazing. Beach towels and bags were provided. Mette went out of her way to make our visit exceptional after our arrival was delayed three days. We dived with manta rays for my big birthday and snorkelled with a whale shark and a huge pod of dolphins before flying home. Could not have been better!

I stayed three days at this hotel with my wife, as it offers diving and full board packages. The truth is that the experience could not have been better. From the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive to us at all times. They were friendly, attentive and always willing to help. Before each dinner, they make a summary of what they have seen that day, what is planned for the next day and a small talk about the possible animals that can be seen diving. The dives were great, everything was VERY WELL ORGANISED, safe and adapted to our level. The team is very professional and you could tell they knew what they were doing. They did their best to see the whale sharks and manta rays. The hotel facilities were spotless and comfortable. The room is huge. If you are looking for a place to dive and be treated wonderfully, this is the place for you. We will definitely be back.

Boutique Beach is the ultimate home away from home but with everything a diver or snorkeler could need! The staff are kind, accommodating in every way including dietary restrictions such as gluten free and vegetarian, and the diving and snorkeling is spectacular. We saw manta rays, a solitary whale shark on 2 of our 6 days, plenty of sharks, turtles, nudibranchs, shrimp, eagle rays, and all kinds of fish—my personal favorites are clownfish in anemones and clown triggerfish. The reef is so healthy. The meals are tasty and plentiful, prepared by a dedicated kitchen staff and included in the hotel package. We took advantage of an add-on option that was available on the morning of our departure to charter a speedboat. Mettle arranged it, and it allowed us the opportunity to snorkel with a whale shark and dolphins on our final day—it was a surreal experience for me. I cannot say enough good things about the staff including the diving instructors and the marine biologist who leads the snorkelers, they give of themselves to make your experience everything you want it to be! And the boat captain and his assistant are local men who know the area like the back of their hand, and they know just where to let everyone off the boat for the best diving and snorkeling experiences. It is also unique that the snorkelers go out on the same boat with the divers, it makes the family experience fun despite me diving and my son snorkeling.

From arriving at Male airport I was greeted by a BB representative who explained clearly my onward speedboat transfer to the beautiful island of Dhigurah. The speedboat transfer was good although the representative had told me to sit at the back as it would be less bumpy. It took less than 2 hours to reach Dhigurah. I was met at the dock by a member of the BB team who collected my bags from the boat and took me to Boutique Beach hotel. Upon arrival I was given an ice cold towel and a young fresh coconut drink. I was checked in and escorted to my room. As a diver I was given a crate to decant my dive gear into and a member of the dive team took my equipment to the dive centre. I must say at this point the dive team are exceptional. I did not have to lift a finger again with my equipment until I received it back at the end of my trip washed and dried. The two dive guides Jac and David were great. Very experienced in the water and pointed out many critters. Alex the in-house marine biologist was great, definitely knew her stuff and did a great whale-shark presentation. She also made a mean cup of English tea both on the boat and in the hotel reception. 10 out of 10 for the dive team, great boat, and great captains, who were able to drop you at the exact spot. The hotel is fantastic. My room was spacious, cool and I had the biggest bed which was super comfortable. Romney who is the owner and fellow diver has thought of everything that a guest would need. Good quality soft furnishings, bedding and amenities. And guess what? My sewing kit which was in the room came in handy to do a quick repair :) Don’t take shampoo conditioner body wash body cream as each room has a supply of Molton Brown toiletries. Hair dryer is also included. Food: Well, I cannot say enough about how good the food is. High quality ingredients made for delightful meals. The chefs made the best curries ever!! Also need to mention Alex (MB) is Spanish and a a special treat she made Spanish Omelette it was delicious!! Dinner was served in the rooftop terrace weather permitting which made a perfect ending to the day. I would like to say a special Thank-you to ALL the BB team and what a team they are. 10 out of 10. Staying at this hotel in Dhigurah was truly exceptional. It exceeded everything we hoped for — especially for those passionate about diving. Every single day, there’s a different diving program carefully planned by an outstanding team of professional and knowledgeable instructors. They know exactly what they’re doing and always take guests to new dive spots, focusing on unique experiences and the chance to see a variety of marine life. What makes it even more special is how the team creates a great group atmosphere. They encourage everyone to interact, creating a fun, collaborative, and friendly environment among guests. Every evening, they screen a video recap of the day’s dive — filmed and edited by the crew — which is such a nice way to relive the experience and connect with fellow divers before dinner. It’s also when they brief the next day’s adventure, building anticipation in the best way. The boat crew is also amazing – they’re highly skilled at finding whale sharks and other sea creatures, and their dedication to making sure guests have the best possible experience is unmatched. They’re truly a reference on the island when it comes to diving expertise. The hotel itself is beautiful and full of thoughtful details. The hospitality and service were outstanding throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the open-air bathroom – it’s such a unique experience to shower surrounded by nature. And the food? Absolutely the best we had in the Maldives. From the moment we arrived, they asked about dietary restrictions and then surprised us every day with a different, delicious menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every meal felt like it was made with care and creativity. We can’t recommend this place enough – for the hospitality, the incredible diving, the amazing instructors and crew, and the overall experience. Just perfect from beginning to end.

Our time was short, but the scuba diving team made it unforgettable. Seb went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and ensure we made the most of our diving experience. our instructor, Jax, provided us with a thorough scuba refresh training session, which was incredibly reassuring since we hadn't dived in a while. His clear instructions and patient demeanor helped us feel safe and confident as we descended into the vibrant underwater world.

The food was amazing, the staff are great and extremely welcoming. The beds are comfortable and the shower is decent. If I was going to the Maldives again I wouldn't stay anywhere but here. We did the snorkeling option and would recommend it. They were great at accommodating diet requirements and even had it covered on the days we were on the boat. Everything about this location is impressive especially the owner Romney, who took this hotel from idea to reality.

This was an exceptional experience. My husband and I had planned this trip almost a year ahead of our departure time. It was my 55th birthday celebration and I had specifically got my open water certification for this specific trip. As we wanted to stay with a PADI recommended site, we planned to split our time in the Maldives here and a resort elsewhere. Our time here was nothing less than extraordinary. 1. As an unfortunate accident led to my husband having a torn Achilles Tendon, we did not know if the site would let us dive with accomodation. Seb, Cam, Dylan and Lucinda were more than incredible in making our diving trips magical. The diving was absolutely magical and the reefs were out of this world. The boat crew, the snacks, the geer, and the friendliness of the people was truly one of a kind experience. 2. The dive resort. I know you have options, but I really recommend this accomodation. The room, the outdoor shower, the proximity to the ocean (3 min walk), the meals, the coffee, the 7 pm watching of the daily videos made by the staff and the guest, the mini lectures by the marine biologist. Top notch experience. 3. The meals. I have to speak up on this because I think how delicious the food was needs its own bullet point. Fresh and varied choices that were really appealing to both our eyes and pallet. Highly enjoyed the meals at this resort. 4. Friendly staff. From the minute we got picked up at the harbor, until they met us at the harbor with goodie bags to go, this was such an unbelievable stay. 5. We did not see a whale shark, but in some way we were happy, because we KNEW we would be back and less than 2 months after being home we scheduled our return trip and we cannot wait to go back. Please stop looking. If you like to dive (or snorkel), and you want to experience the REAL Maldives (not the super staged resorts), this is it. We met really wonderful guests from all over the world with different skill levels too. Whether you are just going to snorkel with Mantas (who wouldn't?), or if you want to have an advanced diving experience they have you covered. This resort is the BEST of its kind.

We had an incredible time at Boutique Beach. Before we had even landed Afzal was looking after us, we were seamlessly rebooked onto a flight after our boat was cancelled due to bad weather. Once at the accommodation we were wowed by just how well appointed it was. The room was fabulous, complete with open sky view bathroom. Diving wise, all we had to do was show up and go down. Everything little thing was looked after, all our gear was managed for us and the crew even went the extra mile drying out the gear at the end of the trip. The team there are amazing, there's a real family vibe off them. Every day we had highly professional dive guides navigating us around the biggest and the smallest aquatic life that Maldives had to offer. At the end of the day there was often a presentation from the resident marine biologist, a video of the days sights and wonders from Mette and fantastic food up on the roof. We've been on quite a few dive trips, both boat based and land based, Boutique Beach was hands down one of the best experiences we've had.

Everything! The team were amazing, the accommodation was lovely and right on the beach, the food was excellent, communication was super easy, and the diving was incredible. The bathroom and room felt luxurious with lovely products, everything we needed was provided - beach towels etc. Pick up and drop off from the ferry. The island is lovely and quiet with the most stunning beach, great for relaxing afternoons after diving in the morning. The diving/snorkeling was amazing and varied. Surface intervals included snorkeling with whale sharks and manta rays. The instructors and boat team were friendly, professional, and lots of fun.

Absolutely nothing

When I say this place is amazing I mean it on every level. I’ve been to several dive resorts and this was the best run outfit I’ve experienced. The dive staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and safety conscious. They know the area, the dive sites, the currents, and the divers! They did an excellent job looking out for creatures in the ocean and creatures on the boat (i.e. us). This place is the opposite of a cattle car dive operation. The largest group we dove with had four people and one dive master. The boat was not crowded and the dive leads did a great job finding lots of amazing and little things. They pointed out nudibranchs and they (and the staff on the boat) did a great job looking out for opportunities to snorkel with whale sharks and mantas in between dives, as if the great dives weren’t enough. I especially want to recommend Mette, though all the dive staff were stellar. I was having some trouble and when I asked for her advice I got an analysis of my technique, why it was causing me trouble, and she noticed that my BCD did not fit me well and was messing up my profile in the water. She clearly had been paying attention the day before, and she provided me with advice on how to improve my frog kick and general skills in current, and I also learned a few new things that helped with equalizing my ears. I have over 200 dives, so these weren’t total newbie tips either! If you get to dive with Mette, take advantage of her amazing ability to assess your diving (and your gear) and provide you with some rock star dive tips. But it’s not just the dive staff that make this place so good. It’s all the staff. From the Chef who made sure I always had a gluten free alternative at meals, to the incredible folks who picked me up at the airport, hauled my gear around, left our room spotless every day, and a million other little things. Boutique Beach has an “all one team” approach, meaning everyone plays an important part in making the experience wonderful for their guests. For this reason when you tip, the tip gets divided up between all the staff, not just the ones you interact with. I think this is one reason everything runs so smoothly on all fronts. If you want an amazing dive experience, thoughtful staff, a beautiful location, and a peaceful place to stay when you are done seeing what’s under the ocean, I highly recommend Boutique Beach!

Best dive resort I’ve been to. The level of service is incredible! Metta and the rest of the staff go over and above to make sure you feel welcome, your stay is safe, and filled with all of the incredible dive sites and opportunities to see everything the Maldives have to offer. We had a very nice room, a beautiful outdoor bathroom and a small balcony. The staff is superfriendly, well organized, very helpful and funny. We had all inclusive and the food was great. The chefs offered a variety of dishes, it was amazing. We had everyday a boat trip and snorkeled or dived on three different spots.

The diving experience was absolutely incredible, the food was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! As relatively new divers, we felt completely safe and supported throughout the entire journey. By the end of the trip, we had not only gained confidence but also learned an incredible amount. It was truly a transformative experience!

Boutique Beach beat all of our expectations by a mile, from the moment we landed in Malé till arrival to the hotel and throughout our stay until it sadly was time for our return flight. Even at this moment they monitored weather reports and helped us get back to Malé when Speedboat had to be cancelled due to weather. The diving was so incredible fun with such talented, knowledgeable and caring dive instructors that really did their best to adapt to the different skill levels, certificates and expectations of the dives. We had some absolutely amazing dives with Mantas and saw plenty of sea turtles. Beyond the praise already given I can only say that we are already planning our next trip back to Boutique Beach, we went on a whim due to strong recommendations on Booking and TripAdvisor and I can honestly say I couldn't be happier.

There are beautiful vacations, very beautiful and perfect ... the vacation at the Boutique Beach Hotel on Dhigurah was even better than perfect. Hostesses Romney, Mette and Afzah and the entire team in the kitchen, in service and the excellent diving team around Seb and Captain Ibrahim were far beyond all expectations. As a family, we successfully completed three PADI certifications and had wonderful diving experiences with whale sharks, manta rays, reef sharks, moray eels, dolphins and countless other creatures. The chance encounters with the other hotel guests were, without exception, exceptionally nice and very enriching. All in all, the perfect diving vacation with a super professional, very prudent and well-organized hotel and diving team with a very personal and familiar character.

From the moment you enquire about a booking to the time you leave after your stay you will experience excellence. At the time you may not realise just how good the experience is. Everything is joined seamlessly from one activity to another. The organisation is meticulous and thoughtful. It would be invidious to single out one section of Boutique Beach (BB) for special mention as they all work as one highly functional happy family and clearly enjoy their work and have fun at the same time. Everything was perfect from beginning to the end. They care a lot about the details and it really matters. Very well organized pickup from the Airport and transfer to Dhigurah island. Great welcoming experience at the hotel, clean and confortable suites with open air showers. Very professional dive center with one of the best boats in the island and amazing dive masters! They are also located in front of an amazing beach where you can relax after the dives. Everything run perfectly and they took great care of us during our short stay of 2 nights. The staff is great, the food amazing, the Indian Ocean a marvel (we've spent half of the holidays doing snorkeling and we even did a discovery diving for the first time in our lives). Above all is the attenton to every little detail of the staff: they arranged the transfer to the island, they prepared the rooms with everything we needed, including yoga mat + beach towel + moschito repellent + beach bag + umbrella (it was raining quite often, but this was not disturbing). They organized the last two dinners on the roof top terrace,. They made sure we will be picked up by the next hotel in Male and they gave us tips on souvrnir shopping. Important things to know: internet soeed is great, you can pay for all their services by credit card, us dollars are accepted if bills are issued after 2006, each evening you will get a presentation of the marine life you will see next day and you will see a video of that day's snorkeling and diving. All in one, a super great experience created by this amazing staff: Mette, Lucinda, Seb, Rami, Afraz, Cam, Dylan, the chefs, the boat crew, the guy who served the meals (so sorry I can't remember his name). All are amazing people, so warm and wecoming!

Top notch diving resort with competent, friendly team that were always happy to help. Enthusiastic about making our stay everything we wanted and very helpful with organising transfers, trouble shooting etc. Served three meals a day, all were interesting and varied - delicious throughout! Several dining rooms options for all weathers. Dives were stunning, safe and well-organised by an experienced team. Mini-talks some evenings were interesting and nice added extra to learn whilst diving. Rooms were spacious, comfortable, well equipped and with beautiful outdoor showers - lots of little extras included by the thoughtful team such as reusable water bottles and beach mats for use during our stay. Swimming beach less than 1 minute away and snorkelling site was also nearby.

Owner Romney and her perfect team make sure your diving experience is unforgettable! The team is well-coordinated, everyone is an expert in their field, but no one is out of place to take on other work if necessary! Thanks to manager Afzal for his patience and organization of our stay on Dhigurah, Mette, Dylan, Seb, Sohag and Lucinda for the wonderful experience in the water, both chefs for the excellent food, the ever smiling Saeed for the service, James and Kawsar for their favors, Cam for the informative topics about marine life and the two captains for safe navigation and help on the boat! If you really want to enjoy the underwater world, you must visit BB and their team, you won't regret it!

If you're a diver, or want to learn to dive and you're thinking of booking Boutique Beach hotel... stop looking and book it. Every part of our experience here was outstanding, and our only regret is that we had to leave! The entire team feels like a giant family, and for a little while you get to be part of the magic of it all. As inexperienced divers, we both completed our open water certification and cannot possibly think of a better place to have done this. The hotel (and even the building design) has been set up by Romney, who is a diver herself, which so clearly shows in the vision for the whole experience. Each day there are 2 or 3 dives to different dive sites on offer. With so many different dive sites in the area, locations are chosen by the expert dive team based on conditions and what you would like to hopefully see or experience. Each night before dinner you get together for a talk on different local marine life and to watch a video edited together of the dives from that day (take a look at their YouTube!) - it's such a brilliant set-up! The dive sites themselves are beautiful, teaming with life and we saw both Manta Rays and Whale sharks during our stay, along with so much mstine life! The rooms are spotless and very comfortable, with extra well thought out amenities like beach bags and yoga mats. The food is delicious and prepared fresh, onsite, from their incredible chef. The dive boat is spacious and very comfortable, with an excellent team on board and snorkeling available to those who don't want to dive. The island and the beach just meters from the front of the hotel are also pure paradise. Thank you to the entire Boutique Beach team for making the whole experience so incredible. My husband Stephen N probably said it all in his review but an establishment like Boutique Beach deserves to be highlighted, particularly if you are first time in Maldives and looking for the perfect land base for scuba diving. As you can tell, we are first timers in the Maldives and looking for a base before we join our (first) liveaboard. It was a challenge when planning this trip as there are just way too many atolls let alone dive operators to chose from. Any diver would probably agree that the diving itself depends a lot on expectations, experience and most importantly what the universe intends to let you explore. You'll get that anywhere in Maldives - but what makes a whole lot of a difference is the people you are with, the team and we are lucky to have landed ourselves with the Boutique Beach team. This place stood out as it was build by a diver for diver-minds alike while also looking to experience the fancy 'Maldives' we see on postcards. The location of this local island Dhigurah is also perfectly located at the South Ari Atol Marine area - which means you get (if you're meant to!) to maybe see whale sharks. I am no writer but let's summarise my joy with this place in the short 2 nights & 6 dives I had with them: Accommodation: Nothing short of what they advertised, spacious room, lovely outdoor shower/toilet. I've no complaints on this section as we see it as something we need to rest our heads at night. Food: Don't expect to lose weight if you enjoy simple tasty food, and buffet style! I really enjoyed the 'sambar' which i think made of tuna & coconut, paired with their roti, makes really good breakfast. Dinner was always a treat - and they went all out and organised dinner by the beach on our last night! The best part - diving & team: What really stood out for me is the daily 7pm marine talks by this young & bubbly marine biologist Cam. It makes the dive trip not only enjoyable but also educational. Their dhoni (dive boat) is also worth mentioning - spacious, clean and also comes with a sundeck (altho i never went up as not a sun person) complete with smiley & helpful crew. Mette was our dive guide and she was absolutely amazing, very patient with us (or our SMB's misbehaving for that matter :-) and I like the part where they emphasis on safety and ensure our check dives covers the basics as these skills gets (extra) rusty when you've done your license moons back and (thankfully!) never had to use it. Dive team is only complete with Dylan - living the dream and keeping his cool. He scoops out the best soups at dinner time. Special thanks also to the manager Mr. Afdzal whom from day 1 made the planning smooth from both sides, very efficient from the get go, and thank you for my whale shark top! Sending us both off to the jetty on our departure day was really a nice touch, we really want to thank you for your hospitality. Of course we were lucky to have meet some fantastic divers from around the world, Sarah & Brian from Scotland, Zeeshan, Elena and few others. We spent amazing time with the team of BB. The hotel located 20 meters from the ocean. The room was large , modern, the bed was very comfortable, even more than at home. The shower under the stars was amazing, especially with the Molton Brown gel, shampoo and conditioner 😍 all staff was like a family for us! The food was amazing! Every day something new, fresh juice, cakes, fruits! Diving team is very professional and always think about safety! We already miss you all, guys 🤗

The hotel has a reduce number of rooms. I think maximum number of guest is around 22. This and the approachable  staff create a great sense of family. All guest have meals together. There is a daily routine to make the best out of the diving experience. Early morning (6.30ish)we go out in 2-3 dives/snorkle jumps. The hotel owns their own boat. We had an instructor for every 1 to 3 people. Every day we visited different areas and view different locations. In general back to the hotel for lunch. Divers may go for one more dive. Afternoon is free. You can walk to the white sand beach just 5meters from the hotel door. At 7 is meeting time to hear a bit about fish in the area, and the plans for the next day. 7.30 is time for dinner. The diver crew often joins. It is focused on giving diving guests a great experience. During our stay several of the other guest had been in the hotel 2 or 3 times before this one time, and some of them were divers with 20+ years of diving. They stated that the experience is really great, especially if compared with other options on Maldives. I al not a diver, so have no opinion. Yet I found that so many appasionados repeat a good sign. Food at the hotel ia is very tasteful. Everyday a different menu and they accomodate for dietary requirements. The rooms are quite big, super comfortable mattress and pillows. We were provided with beach towels and beach bag too. Even yoga mat to take to the beach for extra support under the towel. The island itself is inhabited by locals. As they are Muslim sleves, and at least  knee long clothes to be wear outisde the 'bikini beach'. It is great that is not a 'resort only' experience island. There are a few shops with basic food and touristy stuff.

It was very hard for Novak Djokovic to become No 1 in tennis, but even harder to maintain that position over the years. How many hotels are you aware of on Booking.com that has constant score of over 9.3? Yes, me neither - and this is what Boutique Beach hotel managed, and for good reason. From the moment you arrive, you are pampered personally - each and every day. The staff is simply top notch! Helping Mette, who is at your disposal around the clock, Sam whose Cockney accent confuses you because his knowledge of the lagoons and reefs around makes you believe he was born in Indian Ocean, always smiling and funny Saeed, King Kong Chef Shanti whose masterpieces from the kitchen you will enjoy every few hours - just to mention the few… This great experience is wrapped in and around of picturesque island of Dhigurah with its beautiful beaches and breathtaking marine life around. Guys - thank you for the wonderful time!

This is our second visit to BB (we've been just half a year before) and this stay was as amazing as the first one. Some more details: 1. The dive and boat crew is very experienced, educated, helpful and just fun :) 2. The meals are outstanding, both thanks to Saeed's hospitality and Chef Shanti's skills and charm. The dishes can sometimes be a little spicy (not very spicy), but this is traditional to Asia and overall this is the best food that we had in Maldives. 3. The atmosphere is very homey, with everyone being treated as a member of the family. And they even organized a surprise birthday celebration for me! 4. Everything is very well thought through (thanks to the crew and of course Afzal!). The BB team tries to address any questions, desires or complaints as well and quickly as they can. 5. The rooms are comfortable, not luxurious, but there's everything one needs to rest after an intensive day that was full of adventures. The open-air shower is really nice, although the water is more often hot in the morning than during the day (when it's usually just warm). The weather during this stay was more challenging (monsoon season) and it rained a lot during the second half of the week, but it also seemed easier to find big fishes like mantas and whale sharks (we had 3 whale shark encounters during 1 week). And we saw dolphins several times as well, including once in the water!

The hotel met all our expectations, super nice staff ready to help with everything, very good facilities, we stayed in Deluxe, really liked it. Food was very delicious, interesting excursions. Definitely worth staying there!

The only thing we didn’t quite liked is the beach next to the hotel. But we also understand that Dhigurah is a local island, so the hotel has nothing to do with it. But tbh we were out in the ocean every day , so the beach wasn’t as important for us.

Great stay, amazing people and unforgettable adventures. If you prefer the luxury of constantly discovering new wonders of nature to just having a simple beach holiday, you're going to love it. Regarding the transfer, if the weather is good (only small waves) then the speed boat is completely fine, otherwise consider going with either of the plane options.

Our stay was amazing, All the staff were so friendly and helpful, chef Shanties meals were flavoured so well and a great choice. The Dive boat was roomy, even when all the guests were on board, the seats upfront on the bow are a great touch, The diving was world class, I saw Sharks on every dive, Manta, whale sharks, turtles, morays, tuna, dolphins and a pod of false killer whales.The dive team was professional and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable and the inside / outside bathroom was fab. The beach is a 30 second walk from the hotel, it has chairs and shade and white sand.

There is no Alcohol on the island (which I knew) but a glass of wine with dinner would of been divine. Apart from that it was faultless

everything! this hotel is amazing. We know it is good, but we didnt know it is that great! As a diving center, all diving crews are super professional, knowledgeable about the ocean, passionate, nice and responsible (I wish I have more adjective to describe them!) . So much fun everyday! the diving boat Capitan is also the best to spot great diving area every day, especially manta and whaleshark! They take care of fins, snorkels, masks and wet suite cleaning and even dry them everyday! Ginger tea on boat, coconut snack and biscuits and sometimes lunch (salads, meat, rice , fruits) on the boat when it is a full day activity. The chef of the hotel is unbelievable! how can you make corn egg soup or potato soup such simple things so tasty? My asian stomach is obsessed with the food taste here. Food is prepared in a nutrition balanced way, salad, soup, meat/fish, rice/pasta, cooked vegetables, fruits and fresh juice, desert... We could just go back to the hotel for the reason of this Mr chef :). But of course for the diving crew as well :) I already miss them uhhhhhhhhhhh! we should have stayed longer.

how can I dont like anything here ?!

We fell in love with this place and already can't wait to come back. The team takes such a good care of every little detail, you can really just switch off, enjoy and completely relax. There was a representative waiting for us at the airport who helped us get the money changed, showed us to the waiting area and later took us for a speed boat transfer - same on the way back. On the shore of Dhigurah we had a car waiting that took us directly to the hotel. The hotel is nothing luxurious, but clean, functional and decorated in traditional style. We absolutely loved the open-roof bathroom! You can hear the nature sounds all day long, but fortunately not from other guest ;) Rooms were cleaned daily. AC worked perfectly. Food was excellent every day - mostly Sri Lankan, but with some national and international twist. Even with dietary restrictions chef Santi and his helper offered delicious alternatives. The beach was just 20 steps away, cleaned daily, although not private. There are no umbrellas, but enough trees to find shade. We had snorkeling and diving trips every day and the crew was so professional, well trained and committed to give us best experience possible. We saw whale sharks, mantas, turtles, but also so many other underwater wonders. The whole team pays a lot of attention to preservation and sustainability, so by staying in this hotel you will actually help to give back to the local community. We could not recommend it more.

Just came back from a great week at the Boutique Beach hotel in Dhigurah - it was truly amazing! I almost don’t want to share it as I am hoping it stays a best kept secret! The hotel is located on one of the beautiful islands in the Maldives. It is a local island with ~750 inhabitants and a couple of hotels. There are a few shops, ATM and restaurants at the island- all sandy roads and giving you a real local island feeling. Dhigurah is a long island and has an amazing sandy beach with palmtrees and crazy nice blue, warm water. You can have a nice walk along the beach and a great sunbathing spot at the end of it, but you can also walk 10 steps from the hotel to the postcard beach in front of the hotel. Given it’s respect for the local environment- there is no alcohol in the hotel (which was ok for me- and besides two nice sunset moments where it would have been great to have a beer; didn’t miss it and made me feel more rested). When you are walking on the island they ask you to wear cloths that cover your shoulders/to knees, but at the beach you can wear your bikini. The hotel is great and the room has all what you need during your stay - a nice huge bed, an amazing open shower, chargers for phones/cameras and good products. I normally only go to hotels with swimming pools, but didn’t miss it at all!! The team of the hotel offers a really friendly, family and professional environment. At various moments during our stay we were surprised by the staff that made us feel very special and welcomed. We had a cool coconut drink at arrival, cookies on the way back, and during our last evening a surprise meal for example. The team consists of ~15 people that all did their best to give us a great time: friendly, personal but professional and doing a good job. And then the diving/Snorkling- we didnt realise that this was a specific diving hotel, but were so happy that it was!

BB sets itself apart from resort hotels by the unique operation concept, i.e. interesting welcome education session, safety first always, super warm and helpful staff, 5 star chef (much better than the resort chef). Experienced captain brings best chance to see the big fishes, both snorkers and divers can find their fun. We highly recommend BB, and will definitely return. Thank you, BB family.
