Reviewed May 18, 2026We enjoyed a delightful stay at Kinwani house. Our first floor suite was spacious and comfortable with every comfort we expected in a style apposite to the house's own art deco chic, a fantastic view down to the garden full of flowers and birds and on to Rishikesh. The extensive menu, delicious food and choice of where to dine (we mostly chose the lawn) made every meal a pleasure. Kinwani house is a wonderful place to relax, whether that is exploring the local area, using the pool and yoga facilities or simply breathing in the mountain air on one of the terraces. The small size means you feel quite at home, even if you're the only guests. Gopal and his team provided seamless but inobstrusive service. We would love to return.

The house itself is beautifully decorated, and the conservatory was a wonderful place to relax in the evenings. The heated pool and spa were fantastic. Perfect for a relaxing retreat!
