Cottage was cosy and very comfortable, in an idyllic location, if it's good enough for Liam Neeson it's good enough for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The location was beautiful lovely views all over and the host geraldline was lovely and so pleasant will be back here for sure.

Amazing location to unwind and take a cold dip in the ocean. The cottage was very cozy, it was a welcome comfort to unwind after being on the road for a while.

Sehr schönes Cottage. Liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles vorhanden für self catering. Grosse Küche, schöner Wohn - Essbereich. Sehr gute Betten.

Leider etwas kühl, Heizung wurde aber nach Eintreffen der Vermieter etwas höher gestellt. Sicht auf dasschöne Umfeld leider durch Häuser verstellt.

Fab location, Wild Atlantic on the doorstep, friendly host warm and cosy....especially after a walk to Muckross Head! Nice clean kitchen, coffee tea biccies and milk in the fridge. we were on a whistle stop tour, but this would make a great staging point for a walking holiday.

The feature fire was electric, but to be fair while looking good it felt a bit fake in comparison to the rest of the cottage which was fab....reminicent of crofters bothy

Characterful and stunning location

Ein süßes kleines Häuschen an der rauen Küste. Für drei Personen perfekt und die Ausstattung ist auch sehr gut. Wenn das Wetter es zulässt, kann man zum Muckross Head wandern und hat eine tolle Aussicht. Auch ein Strand ist in 10 Minuten zu erreichen.

Es war ein wenig kühl im Haus, ansonsten alles perfekt!

Nous ne pouvons pas mettre une note au-dessus de 10 et c'est bien dommage. Tout était parfait.. Le logement est superbe,les équipements sont complets ,la localisation est fabuleuse pour des amoureux de la nature. Nous reviendrons.

Geraldine and Laura were incredibly friendly and welcoming on my arrival... even got an escort to make sure I didn't lost, thanks Laura. The cottage was more than I expected, so homely and comfortable with everything that might be needed. Home away from home. Thanks for the "delivery" on Christmas Eve it was very thoughtful and unexpected. Would definitely highly recommend a stay here. Even the weather behaved, not a drop of rain for 4 days. Thanks again, Geraldine and Laura great hospitality. 😉

Memory Lane is a fantastically well-appointed cottage in a glorious location overlooking the ocean. It's a great place to stay whilst travelling the Wild Atlantic Way, in particular the cliffs at Sliabh Liag. We were made to feel right at home from the moment we arrived and enjoyed every moment of our stay. It's the sort of place we'd love to come back to.

The scenery, the ocean, the wee house, and the host made this place one of the best self catering rentals I've stayed in. I just wish I had the time to stay a little longer. Such a gem of a find.

Cannot find fault with the accommodation, as the listing description is accurate. It also represents excellent value for money.

Geraldine was so accommodating and a lovely host. Her cottage is brilliant and exceeded all expectations. There is two great beaches a 5 minute walk from the property with everything else a short drive. Would really recommended if looking to stay in this area of Donegal. Hopefully will be in contact with Geraldine again for another stay!

Nos costó un poco encontrar este encantador "cottage", Memory Lane, lleno de recuerdos curiosos de otro tiempo, que se encuentra en un lugar apartado y precioso, justo antes de llegar a Muckross Head. La casita era impecable, muy comoda, las camas tambien, una buena ducha y la cocina con todo lo necesario para pasar unos dias. Nosotros solo estuvimos una noche con nuestro hijo, y nos hubiera gustado pasar algo más de tiempo! La dueña, Geraldine, muy amable, explicó el funcionamento de todo y nos habia dejado leche fresca y mantequilla en la nevera, con varias mermeladas Se puede ir a Killybegs a comer, a 15 minutos en coche, hay varias restaurantes recomendables y en la casa hay una lista de varios estilos. Si quieres "fish and chips" o calamari para llevar, el "seafood shack" los prepara al momento. Hay una playa de arena a unos 10 minutos caminando hacia la izquierda del camino de entrada del cottage y si sales hacia la derecha hay otro playa, no adecuado para el baño, tiene corrientes peligrosos, pero es impresionante y un poco más adelante llegas a Muckross Head que vale la pena!! La paz y la tranquilidad son palpables y las vistas piden fotografiarse! És un lugar muy especial.

Nosotros llegamos a la tarde con buena luz, pero no me habria gustado llegar a oscuras, sin conocer el camino. És un camino estrecho, así recomiendo llegar temprano!

Just a beautiful cottage, carrying character of Ireland of old. Fabulous location on coastal road. Welcome was very warm. We just loved our stay here.

Would have like a washing machine for clothes if at all possible to fit one in.

This cottage was perfection. Located on a hidden headland with beautiful walks and on a working farm the host lives next-door in another building and was completely charming and helpful.. The cottage is tiny and blissful..

Location was perfect for us, it’s an older traditional cottage with lovely views of the sea set behind a newer house. Hostess was lovely, had everything you need. Good heating and short walk to sandy beach. The roads to it are good but very narrow.

The area is pristine, private and secluded. The views are stunning in all directions. The cottage is adorably, beautifully and quaintly decorated and fully functional for your stay. It is fully stocked with standard cooking utensils and equipment with exception of an oven, However there is a air fryer/mini oven, There are two wonderful beaches within walking distance one sandy and very private, one on the rocky end with much to see and explore. The hostess was helpful and kind. The beds were comfortable as well.

The water pressure in the kitchen was not on the strong side, but the shower has a power shower that is great. The road from Killybegs is a little bit challenging if you not used to Irish roads.

Great location with a sea view. The host is super friendly and even told us about the nearby attractions. The room is spacious, and there is a kitchen to cook your own meal. It comes with hot water and a fridge – you name it. Highly recommended for anyone looking for affordable accommodation in Donegal. This place is close to the mountains; if you are lucky, you might also see the sunrise or sunset. Overall, a great location, amazing host, and beautiful house.

Where don I start… Stunning, unspoiled location. Far from the maddening crowd. Exceptionally clean, beautifully done cottage. Everything was spotless, down to the last detail. The owners are lovely people, very welcoming and look after you very well! A real value, that hard to find these days.

Impossible to find any fault.

This place is magical. Located with a secluded beach on one side & cliffs with rock pools to go net fishing with children on the other side ( both walking distance from the cottage ). Fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need. Every window in the cottage that you pull the blinds up in the morning leave you with breath taking views. The front half of the cottage looks over the bay, which we were lucky enough to see a crisp sunrise on a clear spring morning. The rear end of the cottage looks up onto towering mountain peaks. The half door opening at the front of the cottage was lovely for the sunrise in the morning to look out over the bay while having breakfast. There’s an old school desk in the living area with colouring books and pencils stored away underneath which was lovely touch along with many other gems attached to the place. Attention to detail has been implemented into this wonderful Cottage. Great way to connect yourself back to the land of Ireland with a stay here. Would highly recommend a visit to Memory Lane!

I cannot fault the place.

The cottage is perfectly clean, warm and cosy, and beautifully furnished in a traditional Irish cottage style.The bed linen was beautiful and fresh. The kitchen has everything you need. Geraldine,the host,is very friendly and welcoming, and she took the time to carefully explain everything to us,how everything worked and where the local attractions , etc, are..and all of this in an outstanding location.

Loved every minute of my time in Memory Lane! The self-catering cottage is warm, cosy, and spotlessly clean, with everything necessary provided to ensure a great stay! It's very peaceful...within short walking distance of a lovely beach and Muckross Head and is  surrounded by breathtaking scenery...also not far from Slieve League and Glencolmcille....a must see on the Wild Atlantic Way!! The most idyllic little cottage with an amazing sea view, traditional and super cosy. We were truly blown away. Scenary and beach nearby is simply breathtaking. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped with added extras, tea/coffee/biscuits/milk and butter. Geraldine and Laura are exceptional hosts and we cannot wait to return 😊
