Por decir algo que me gustó, que estaba cerca del pueblo, pero alejado del ruido. Aunque por la carretera pasaban motos bastante a menudo y está muy cerca de la carretera. La habitación estaba limpia

Se oye absolutamente todo, no hay ningún tipo de insonorización, si hablas, te oyen los de al lado, y el baño, más de lo mismo. Privacidad nula en todos los sentidos, porque las cortinas tampoco cierran del todo, se quedan espacios entre la ventana y la puerta al balcón. Los balcones tienen un separador muy justito que tampoco deja ninguna intimidad, porque es completamente translúcido, como si no estuviera. El personal, aunque es agradable, creo que no intercambió ni una sola palabra conmigo. No tengo quejas sobre ellos, pero fue una estancia muy seca, sin ningún tipo de contacto con ellos.

Cama super cómoda. Vistas al rio. Ducha buena.

Estuvimos en temporada baja, no teniamos opción ni de desayuno ni de cena.

La chambre est très bien, toute petite, confortable et très mignonne avec une jolie vue.

Un groupe a fait du bruit jusqu'à 3h du matin (apéro + appels nocturnes très bruyants), les murs étant très fins, nous n’avons quasiment pas dormi de la nuit. Pour le souper, on n’a pas compris, il n’y avait plus assez de nourriture pour nous, apparemment, il faut réserver plus tôt mais personne ne nous a rien dit.

Un desastre. Nos tuvimos que ir porque la habitación parecía la selva de bichos por todos lados, incluyendo la cama llena de arañas, gusanos, grillos etc. Nos quejamos y nos enseñaron otras habitaciones y estaban todas igual así que nos fuimos y buscamos otro alojamiento

We waited for over half an hour in the afternoon to check in and eventually had to call the property ourselves to ask if someone could come help us. Communication was extremely difficult, as nobody spoke English and the only response we received through Google Translate was “can you pay now”. The room itself was very disappointing. It was dirty and dusty, with spider webs and dust visible throughout the space. There were also a large number of insects inside the room. Basic comfort was lacking, with nowhere to properly store or place our bags. The bathroom was in very poor condition as well. There was literally a hole in the wall where a window should have been, covered only by a curtain. There were also loose electricity wires with tape on the ends next to the showerhead, which felt very unsafe. On top of that, there was no hot water during our stay. Overall, the accommodation felt poorly maintained and not ready to receive guests.

Personal kommuniziert nicht und kann kein Englisch. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Straße was unglaublich laut war. Leider war unser Zimmer auch voller Tiere, die sich auch ins Bett verirrt haben

De bedden zijn echt een verademing. Verder hadden we een leuk uitzicht. Als je gewoon rust wilt en geen stinkende crusten om je heen wilt, dan moet je hier verblijven. Het is wel gehorig, maar vanaf half 10 is het gewoon stil en er zitten ook geen grote groepen.

Water in de badkamer loopt niet helemaal goed weg. Ontbijt is oke, maar niet heel bijzonder.

Posizione poco distante dal caos del centro e a 30 minuti a piedi dalla cascata. Subito sotto inoltre c’è un fiume bellissimo nel quale fare un tuffo in solitudine o al massimo con qualche bambino locale. La vista delle camere sul retro è pazzesca! Al nostro arrivo le ragazze ci sono venute a prendere alla fermata dell’autobus e ci hanno successivamente aiutati ad organizzare il nostro spostamento per Ha Giang. Non parlano inglese ma con il traduttore siamo riusciti sempre a capirci ☺️

La home stay è molto bella ma purtroppo non è tenuta benissimo, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la pulizia. Lenzuola e asciugamani però erano pulitissimi e profumavano, il resto poteva essere sicuramente più pulito ma per una notte o due va bene, la vista ripaga tutto!

La taille de la chambre. Le matelas à même le sol et surtout l'accueil très peu souriant et coopératif de 2 très jeunes filles qui ne semblaient pas concernées par le bien-être de leurs clients. Heureusement que le guide d'un groupe qui semblait bien connaitre l'établissement a, lui, été très sympa et aidant. Le repas le soir aurait semble-t-il dû être réservé à l'avance, encore aurait-il fallu le savoir...?

L' emplacement en campagne.La maison est belle mais hélas sur la route de la cascade de Du Gia qui est un spot pour les rider du loop ha Giang.Bref si on aime la fête c'est génial.

Accueil inexistant. Repas ultra simple sur réservation. PDJ sur réservation Nous n'avons pas très bien compris la motivation des 2 personnes très jeunes qui gèrent cette affaire..Perdues sur leur portable elles ne s intéressaient pas du tout à la clientèle. Dommage

Super herzige Unterkunft. Direkter Blick auf die Landschaft, alles sauber. Zimmer ist eher klein, aber fein. Lärm hat es, jedoch nur bis ca 17:30, da dann niemand mehr zum Wasserfall geht. Danach ist es ruhig bis zum Morgen. Kann es nur empfehlen.

Ich war nur ein Abend im Homestay, das minimal außerhalb der Stadt liegt. Ich fand es aber sehr schön zum entspannen. Die Ausstattung hätte ein wenig besser sein können. Zum Beispiel fehlte eine Ablage für meine Bekleidung. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Insgesamt jedoch kann ich das Homestay empfehlen - insbesondere für Couples, die einen entspannten, ruhigen und zweisam Aufenthalt genießen möchten 🙂

Petite guesthouse bien tenue, très au calme, hôte aux petits soins. La vue depuis la chambre était incroyable ! Le lit, immense et très confortable, idéal pour récupérer de la journée sur le scooter. Douche avec eau chaude, wifi au top. Bon petit déjeuner, copieux (pancakes faits maison et banane) Nous recommandons vivement.

Located slightly away from the crowded city center, this homestay offers a breathtaking view of nature. Enjoying the panoramic scenery from our room’s balcony in the morning and wandering around the peaceful surroundings were some of the most relaxing and unforgettable moments — something you just can’t find in a busy city. The staff were friendly and easy to contact in advance, which made our stay smooth and stress-free. And of course, a thousand points for the adorable and friendly pets — they truly made our experience even more heartwarming!

You can order dinner directly at the homestay. We had the grilled set — it was okay, but not quite as good as we expected. We prefer the meat from local than common food like fried spring rolls. Our room for four people felt a bit small. The upper floor was hotter and more stuffy, and the air conditioner didn’t really reach that area. It’s a good idea to ask for an extra fan. Also, the bathroom didn’t have a ventilation fan, which made it a bit unconvenient and uncomfortable when staying with others.

This was our favourite of the three properties we stayed whilst driving the Ha Giang Loop. The bed was SO comfy and the views out of the windows was really awesome. It is located on the outskirts of the city centre which meant it was nice and quiet come the evening time. Shower and bathroom also great here. Didn't eat here so can't pass judgement on food options. Water and beer available from their fridge. Staff not really around much, but we didn't need anything from them once we had checked in.

Some critters can technically get through the gaps in the doors, but it didn't bother us at all. I think one insect got in, which we were able to easily shoo out. Then, nothing. We didn't have anywhere near as many as other people have claimed in previous reviews! We thought it would be super noisy after reading other reviews but we didn't find it noisy at all. Walls are kinda thin, but everyone is getting early nights here so all is good.

Suuuper cute Accomodation in the middle of the corn field, just 3 min away from the center. I wish we stayed longer than one night.

Comfy beds, small but cousy wooden rooms with small balcony. It is possible you hear the neighbours because of the thin walls.

The staff was at our stay most of the time asleep. We don t mind about that, but they forgot to prepare dinner for us!

Super nice location - easy way of living

The homestay had a nice quiet location with lovely views. The beds were super comfortable. The dining and sitting area was scenic and allowed interactions with other guests. The food options were tasty and generous.

The room was a bit squishy for a family of 4. Fine for one night, though.

ITS NOISY. Next to a road with zillions of motorcycle tourists zooming up and down. Also you will hear neighbouring room and people in common areas below.

Everything was wonderful. The best stay we had on the loop. The bed was super comfortable, the views are amazing, the food was very good. The place has everything we needed to be cozy and comfy — fluffy blanket, heater, AC, fan, hot shower, great wifi. It was such a delight to come into the room after a long, cold, and drive on the loop. The hosts are also the nicest people! Highly recommend!

Exactly as pictured, our room was rustic yet with modern details, super cosy and comfortable. It had both AC and a heater. Magnificent view, yet with enough privacy. The shower had good pressure and hot water. The host is super kind and lend me a phone charger because I lost mine. Good family dinner. Definitely recommend.

When I think of homestays during a trek, I usually release all expectations of luxury, cleanliness, and comfort. However, Muong Tra Homestay was a wonderful surprise. The rooms were clean, cosy, and well-maintained, with facilities that exceeded my expectations. The highlight for me was the hot shower—honestly better than some I’ve experienced in 4-star hotels—making it the perfect start to the morning after a long day of trekking. The home-cooked food was incredible, full of flavor and heart. I don’t often take the time to write reviews, but I can wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

The only downside is the soundproofing—it’s essentially non-existent. However, given the charm and quality of everything else, this small drawback is easy to overlook.

It's at a quiet location, away from the village. The beds were very comfortable, the room has a heating and AC, a great view on the mountains and looks newly renovated. We had trouble with our motorcycle when we wanted to leave and got great assistance from the staff, even taking us to the next mechanic. The dinner and breakfast was also very tasty and the woman at the reception speaks fluent English, which makes the communication very easy.

We had ants and other bugs climbing at the wall and ceiling. But it didn't really bother us and I can imagine it's very difficult to get rid of them in a wooden cabin.

Excellent. Clean and nice room with beautiful view to the fields, two big windows are perfect. The dinner organised by owner for the guests was amazed experience, the table was full of great meal. Nice and helpful staff, we were really satisfied.

The property was full of rats, spiders and mosquitoes. We were not able to go to sleep because rats were walking around all night long.. :)) it was pretty much horrible stay just only because of this.

An amazing experience! The hotel is in a fantastic location, very close to a beautiful waterfall and hiking trails, so we really enjoyed being in nature. The view is breathtaking, and the rooms are beautifully designed with great attention to detail. The hosts were wonderful, taking care of every little thing and making our stay truly special. Highly recommended!

How lucky were we to stay Muong Tra Stream Homestay. It's not often I get to say that but WOW WOW WOW. We arrived at 1pm, so much too early for check in and nobody was there. I sent a What's App message and the owner was there in a couple of minutes. He then took our bags up to our room with a smile and left us to settle in. The room was gorgeous, small but cute with a super view over the fields and mountain. Really comfy bed, super Aircon and THE best shower so far, strong and hot. It's a very relaxed setup where you choose your own drinks from the fridge and mark it on the chalk board. The owner asked us if we would like dinner, we said yes, he told us 7:30pm and took care of the rest... a banquet. So much yummy food, some of the best we have had in Vietnam. Our wonderful host has thought of everything and delivers with a smile.

Lovely homestay with cozy rooms. The host puts a lot of effort into making sure all guests feel comfortable. In the evenings, you can enjoy some ‘happy water’ (home-brewed corn liquor) together, which adds to the experience. The dinner at the homestay was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend staying here.
