The Best Adventure Hostel

The hostel was located right in the middle of San Gil making it an easy walk to shops, restaurants and the town square. The staff were very helpful for when I needed information on where the local small bus terminal was at for taking shuttle to all the smaller towns in the area. It had breakfast included which was always delicious. The kitchen was well up to standards, with lots of clean pots, pans and sharp knifes to use. I was in the shared dorms, the beds were comfortable and the space was clean with lots of storage to lock up your important things. The toilets and showers were very clean, and there were hot showers for the cooler temps at night. The upstairs open seating area was very to relax around and it had a good view over San Gil and to the mountains. And the pool was very nice to use on the sunnier days when it was nice and hot.

Dans le dortoir, il y a bien de l'espace pour poser ses affaires. Le dortoir est nettoyé et les lits sont refaits tous les jours. Nous avons accès à une terrasse juste super avec une piscine et un endroit avec des canapés, des tables basses et des chaises hautes pour apprécier la vue. La cuisine est très bien agencée pour pouvoir se préparer des plats. Le personnel est juste incroyable et au petit soin.

El desayuno incluido por el precio que manejan me parece que era excelente, una ubicación bastante central, cerca al parque, nos permitieron hacer early check in y nos permitieron usar duchas después del check out, Laura es muy amable y paciente.

El ventilador en nuestra habitación al inicio no servía y al estar alto no ayudaba mucho para el calor que hacía, la ducha en el cuarto se estaba escarapelando, las duchas mixtas las cortinas tenían moho.

L’accueil de Laura était excellent, toujours disponible et enclin à aider. Les activités proposées (à prix réduit comparé à ce qu’on peut trouver en ligne ou sur place).

Les équipements étaient suffisants mais très rudimentaires (ce qui permet également de justifier le prix)

何もかも完ぺきでした。居心地がいいので延泊しました。 スタッフの方たちはいつも気にかけてくれ、なんでも質問できる雰囲気を作ってくれています。hostelはいつもきれいです。スタッフのローラさんは隅々まで掃除をしています。夜の当番の男性も帰る前にトイレもキッチンも掃除をしてくれるので朝から気持ちよく使うことができます。朝ごはんもフルーツがあってちょうどよい量です。キッチンも使いやすいです。シャワーのお湯加減も水圧もパーフェクト。ベッドの数も多くないので、とても静かでリラックスできました。 そして一番驚いたのが、夜行バスで到着した私を10:00にはチェックインさせてくれたことです。コロンビアのバスは寒くて揺れがひどく全然眠れませんでした。私はとても疲れていました。でも、すぐにチェックインさせてくれたのですぐに眠ることができました。あの時寝ていなかったら私は確実に病気になっていたでしょう。私がすぐにチェックインできるように連絡をくれて、ベッドの準備してくれたローラさんに感謝です。

何もありません。ローラさん、男性のスタッフさん、本当にありがとうございました。

Un lugar increíble para un espíritu viajero, todo está muy bien pensado y creado. El chico de recepción es súper amable y te ayudan en todo con muy buenos consejos de todo lo que hay para explorar en la zona y alrededores. Volveríamos a este lugar cada vez que viajemos a Santander.

No tengo nada negativo de este lugar.

This was the worst experience i ever had in a hostel or hotel. We arrived waiting for the room to get ready. We came back to the hotel the receptionist was having lunch so they would not open the door until she waa ready.Our room was dirty we had to ask for a change in both sheets that had steins in our daughters hed.Shw gave us the new sheets without trying at least to fix the bed from the dirty sheets.. Breakfast was another disaser.Fruit was less then half an apple divided by 3 for the 3 of us. Eggs for the 2 of us with 2 peacesbof toast and two plein peaces of toasted bread for me because i cannot eat eggs I asked for cheese or even marmwlade but nothing was available. This is a hostel that even thr stuff has negative energy during your stay. My suggestion AVOID this hostel at any cost. There are better hostels nextdoot.

Es un hostel muy céntrico y allí mismo te guían para las excursiones 👌🏾La piscina y la terraza son muy agradables, sobretodo al atardecer. Y el personal es muy amable.

El lugar es perfecto para alojarse y poder conocer San Gil. Los servicios que presta son bueno y tiene una terraza con psicina y juegos, fué genial para pasar mi estadia con mi hija.

La bebida del desayuno podria ser más variada ya que solo ofrecen tinto y aromatica

La ducha un poco falta de presión. Sin embargo contaba con agua caliente.

The hostel is located near city centre. The pool was nice though we didn't go in.

Room was in front of the reception and we had to lock it with a padlock. It didn't really feel like a room. It was very hot even though we had a fan and we didn't have a lot of electrical outlet. Bed was not very comfy. Breakfast is very basic (overcooked and salty scrambled eggs, one toast and hot water for tea). Showers are rustic and not very clean plus one of the shower doors wouldn't close and opened while I was showering. The space in it is very small so not convenient for your stuff.

Everything was fantastic. The staff from the hostel was all the time checking back in case we need anything in order to make us feel like at home. breakfast was delicious, the facilities were top for a hostel at that price, perfect location, close to everything but far enough to dont heard traffic or music and they have water you can fill up, laundry service for a good price, tours. we were planing to stay in sangil for 2/3 days but we actually stayed for more than a week, we didn't really want to leave but we had to. definitely looking forward to come back next time we're around san gil.

Très sympathique hostal bien équipé au niveau de la salle de bain (shampooing et après shampooing, dans un hostal avec piscine, c'est bienvenu !). Joli espace extérieur avec piscine.

L'isolationde la chambre (un trou au dessus de la porte donnant sur la réception) donc pas mal de bruit.

Le logement est bien situé et le personnel très arrangeant. La piscine et le rooftop sont très sympa. Cuisine à disposition (assez sale).

Il manque un peu de propreté dans les douches et les chambres.

Es un hostal muy lindo y parchado, la piscina es deliciosa. Laura es una excelente anfitriona y nos ayudó muchísimo durante nuestra estadía. Gracias, volveremos !!

Nos encantó, para ser un hostal donde la gente entra y sale en todo momento o hace ruido, lo que más me gustó de todo es que no es ruidoso, hay reglas de horario de uso de las áreas comunes y las respetan y las hacen respetar, pensando en el descanso de los turistas, he mucho hostales esto no sucede y no es posible descansar por qué en horas tarde de la noche hay gente hablando hasta tarde o desde muy temprano, aquí es tranquilo, calmado, se puede descansar, los chicos de la recepción son muy atentos, la habitación estaba limpia y bonita, y la piscina también es genial para relajarse y jugar juegos de mesa, 100% recomendado además de tener buen precio. Gracias por todo

Las chicas que estaban a cargo de la hostal eran muy simpáticas y atentas. Nos dieron recomendaciones para conocer los lugares cercanos y para comer. Lo mejor es que está super cerca del centro de sangil, eran todas las distancias caminables y el lugar se sentía seguro. Era muy bonita la decoración.

Una de las piezas tenía mucho olor a humedad, creo que eso es un poco incómodo. La otra pieza tenía problemas de termitas y la última noche, estas estaban en apareamiento por lo que caían del techo a la cama y fue un poco incomodo ya que interrumpieron mi descanso. Fuera de eso nada más.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Nous avons d'ailleurs prolongé celui-ci tellement nous nous y sentions bien. • Flexibilité de l'hostel, vu que la chambre n'était pas réservée avant nous ni après nous, nous avons pu profiter de celle-ci des 8h du matin et jusque 18h le jour de notre départ. • Laura et ses collègues très sympas du début à la fin, toujours disponibles pour répondre à nos questions. • Activités au top réservées directement à l hostel et à un bon prix • Tout est nettoyé chaque jour voir plusieurs fois par jour • Chouette espace rooftop avec piscine et terrasse • Cuisine fonctionnelle avec espace repas • Emplacement au calme à proximité de tout ! • Service de Laundry pas cher • Café et thé toute la journée • Jeux de société • ah oui j'oubliais enfin de l'eau chaude comme annoncé 🤩 Bref nous recommandons à 100% pour un séjour à San gil PS: nous étions en hors saison

L’hôtel est proche du centre de San Gil et à proximité de la gare routière secondaire qui permet de se déplacer facilement. Les filles de l’hôtel ont été super sympa, elles font tourner la boutique avec beaucoup de professionnalisme.

We had the best stay in this hostel. The room was spacious (we had a private room) and the staff are exceptional! They would do literally anything for you. They go out of their way to make the guests feel so welcome. Thank you Tatiana and Fabian, you made our stay unforgettable.

Great hostel in downtown with nice rooftop (where you can have breakfast). Amazing staff, hot water, lockers, all in place and set. High recommended

Well located next to the central square. Jair and co do an excellent job in running the hostel. They were able to help us book quite a few activities and they were very communicative - such as whatsapping me the following day's pick up time as soon as it was confirmed.

Kind staff

Very friendly staff and was quiet when we stayed. The place has a rustic charm. If the hostel was full I think it would have been a bit crowded though.

Some aspects of the property were a bit run down and in need of refurbishment such as the pool area and bathrooms. Some simple improvements could also be made such as a bed lamp in the room we stayed in as there was only one big room light.

I really love the location of this place because it's not on a noisy street but yet in an excellent location. They organize activities and the staff is super helpful. The view on the terrace is superb and the pool in great.
