Reviewed Feb 8, 2025Felt very well looked after, the bed was perfect! So comfortable. Super clean.
At first we couldn’t find it because google maps is bad in these locations, however this was only a problem because we were already staying on the island. If you are arriving by boat and heading straight there you will be met in the harbour and taken to the apartment.

Reviewed Jun 4, 2024The actual property/apartment was okay, small and cosy, clean and private - as it looked in the photos on the inside. Good restaurants (the compass) nearby. Local staff were helpful and kind and collected and dropped off at the boat on the island effortlessly.
The property didn’t have a sea view as was advertised at the time. It didn’t face the ocean. It faced out onto old rusty local home roof. This was disappointing. I found communicating with the host very difficult on every level. Host offered services to book my boat and for me to be met at the airport - this did not happen and my first day was ruined as I was left stranded for hours. I was compensated for this with a spa treatment, however - I would have preferred to have not been stranded for hours at the airport and would have preferred to have my first day of my holiday scuba diving, as I originally planned. The facilities as advertised, are in fact facilities of the island and not the apartment. There is no private beach with the property. The public beach (bikini beach) is roughly a 7 minute walk. Host refunded me two nights when we left early but insisted, I pay the booking.com fee therefore not a complete refund of two nights, which again, I feel is wrong.

Reviewed Mar 14, 2024I loved staying at Amore Apartment. Everything was exactly as described. A very comfortable stay with all necessary amenities. Clear communication for the check-in/out procedure and during my stay Raju was always available for any possible question I had. The surroundings are quiet and safe. Dhangethi is a beautiful relaxing island with friendly people.
