Reviewed Sep 2, 2025A nicely furnished and decorated house, with everything you need. The location is in a small village, with shopping opportunities within a 10 minute drive. Perfect for a little hideout, to relax and unwind without wifi. The hosts are nice and the chickens and geese are nice neighbours directly in front of the terrace. The air-conditioning was very nice on hot days. Around Kongsmarken within a hour drive there is everything from beach/lakes to forest to city, something for every visitor.
During our stay the water quality was quite bad. The water smelled and tasted like blood/metal and if heated for cooking the water turned yellow. We just bought bottled water for drinking and cooking. Due to no blinds at the top of the windows the hosts can look from there porch and windows directly onto the bed and the sun depending on position reflected in their window onto the bed as well.
