Warm welkom, zelfs de vlag hing uit voor ons. Onbetaalbaar uitzicht. Mooi, ruim appartement, alles is aanwezig

L’emplacement et la vue étaient incroyables. Très cosy, on s’y sent bien.

Het appartement had een fantastisch uitzicht over het fjord. De keuken was compleet, het bed goed en de host was super gastvrij. Hij wees ons op een mooie wandeling, maar omdat het beginpunt wat lastig te vinden was, reed hij ons in z'n eigen auto voor, betaalde de parkeerkosten en wenste ons een fijne wandeling. In de tuin stond een pruimenboom, waarvan we volop konden eten.

Op de foto's zie je het huis waar de eigenaar in woont, aan de achterzijde is het appartement van de gasten. Helemaal goed, maar de indruk zou kunnen ontstaan dat je in het hoofdgebouw verblijft.

I’m giving 10/10! Best equipped house we stayed in Norway during 2 weeks. We had everything: full kitchen, coffee, coffee machine, spices, great leaving space with comfortable sofa and great view. Washing machine was a plus! Great shower pressure and very comfortable bed.

I liked everything!

Tout était parfait : la vue splendide sur le Fjord, l’accueille de l’hôte, le confort du lieu, le jardin fruité !

Wat een prachtig uitzicht! We hebben enorm genoten van het zicht op het fjord, ook hebben we een mooie wandeling in de directe omgeving gemaakt. De host reageerde ook heel snel op onze vragen en we mochten onze fietsen in de garage zetten.

We dachten dat de douche erg klein was en alles nat zou worden. Dit viel reuze mee. De wasbak was wel wat klein. Verder was alles echt oké!

Logement très agréable, calme, confortable avec une très jolie vue. Accueil chaleureux avec des petites attentions.

Traumhafter Blick aus dem Fenster, da vermisst man den TV nicht. Das ist wie Kino, da kommen die Kreuzfahrtschiffe und Fähren vorbei und abends das Bergglühen. Strategisch günstig gelegen, dadurch kurze Wege zu Tagesausflügen nach Geiranger, Älesund und Trollstigen.

Tolle Lage mit herrlichem Blick auf den Fjord zweckmäßig eingerichtet, Betten könnten härter sein, professionelle Kommunikation mit der freundlichen Gastgeberin. Süße Überraschung zur Anreise hat uns sehr gefreut.

Attente en vriendelijke gastheer die alles goed uitlegde. De view op het Storfjord In de keuken was alles uitgebreid aanwezig, gezellige woonkamer.

De te kleine badkamer. Alhoewel dat op de foto’s al zichtbaar was, dus ja, daar kan je eigenlijk niets van zeggen. De geurtjes die in iedere kamer van het huis geplaatst waren. We hebben ze tijdens ons verblijf verwijderd, want we werden er misselijk van.

The location was just out of Stranda but was very peaceful. We loved looking out the windows over the Fjord. Simon welcomed us with an Australian flag flying as we were from Australia and also a bottle of Australian wine and some Norwegian chocolate. We enjoyed the coffee and hot chocolate. The place had great cooking facilities.

It did have a bit of a damp smell, especially in the laundry that could do with a bit of a renovation but in the scheme of things this was minor as the rest of the facilities were great.

Surprisingly close to town. Amazing views and a warm wood stove. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. A perfect home base for a ski trip.

No complaints. Eager to visit again!

Nothing really

Fjord time out – peaceful, welcoming, unforgettable. We spent two great weeks in a cozy, well-equipped apartment that was perfect for two. One of the absolute highlights was the view: from both the window and the private seating area in the garden, you can look out over the fjord and the mountains across the water. Simply breathtaking! Our host, who lives upstairs, was incredibly kind and helpful. He offered great tips and information about the area, was always available if needed but always discreet. A lovely personal touch: he flies the flag of each guest’s home country – such a kind and thoughtful gesture! There's also a small beach nearby (5-10 min by car) with a grassy area and picnic tables and an easy access for swimming in the fjord on warm days. We really felt welcome and had a very relaxing time at that place we’d gladly return to.

View is outstanding. Living room has fireplace that is allowed to use, wood and starter included. Apartment has enough electric heaters, in client's control, to maintain comfortable temperature. Strategically perfect location to stay for a few days and drive +-100km around, explore this incredibly beautiful land

Arriving to the location, first impression was that we had rented entire house actually, though it turned to be only bottom floor, while 2 upper floors are still occupied for owners needs. You agree it's 2 different things. Though rented floor is separated and has all own facilities, entrance, bathroom, almost fully equipped kitchen (no microwave), even own laundry room. So later we didn't feel disturbance or discomfort

Simon is a wonderful and incredibly welcoming host - and the view from the property is spectacular!

The view was unreal, undisputed view of the fiord. I can also confirm this is bed is heaven. Super warm with the heating and the fire was nice in the evening. Simon was one of the nicest host so kind super quick and responding. Even put up a Cornish flag up for our arrival for a week in March a super kind gesture!

Everything about the house was great, unfortunately we got very unlucky with the weather but Simon was so helpful and full of great recommendations.

This place is quiet and magical. In front of the sofa there is a big window with the breathtaking view at the fjord. The contact with the owner was simple, he was very helpful with everything. And the fireplace… no words needed!
