"I recently stayed at Lemon Tree Hotel in Nepal and loved everything about it! The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-organized. True to its name, the overall vibe was super refreshing—from the cheerful decor to the lemon-scented soaps, shampoos, and room fragrances. The view from the higher floors was stunning, offering beautiful scenery on both sides, whether looking out at the mountains or the city. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was high quality, diverse, and delicious. I especially appreciated that they served Halal food. Highly recommended!" Special thanks to Subina (if I am not wrong in the name) at the reception for her warm welcome, and to the Supervisor, Anita, for personally ensuring our stay was perfect.

One minor suggestion: adding a business area or offering a laptop for guest use would be hugely helpful for catching up on work or booking local tours.

The property itself is relatively new and the physical building is fine. Despite the service oversights, the staff were very humble and apologetic, which I really appreciated.

Once we arrived, we noticed a lack of attention to detail. Our guest numbers and room facilities were not pre-managed or set up properly prior to check-in. Additionally, there is no basic bell service—staff did not assist with carrying bags to the room, which was surprising for a hotel of this caliber. The location is also a drawback; it feels somewhat isolated, making it difficult to get around. Because of this, we opted for the dinner buffet, only to find the options quite limited. Overall, while the property itself is nice, the stay was definitely hampered by early billing issues and service oversights.

Cet hôtel a été notre premier au Népal. Nous avons été très satisfait de la prestation. L’emplacement est vraiment idéal, il est isolé de la ville et offre une magnifique vue tout en étant proche de Kathmandu. La première nuit nous avions eu du bruit et le personnel a vraiment fait le nécessaire pour s’excuser du dérangement (indépendant de leur volonté) et causée par des clients qui n’ont pas été respectueux. Nous avons donc apprécié l’effort réalisé pour pouvoir satisfaire le client. Le personnel est particulière, particulièrement agréable, sympathique. J’ai également profité du spa, ce qui était extrêmement agréable. Nous étions partis pour deux nuits, nous avons fini par en prendre cinq. Autre mention : le restaurant est véritablement excellent. C’est un véritable cheffe qui prépare le repas. Nous avons ensuite fait d’autres hôtels, mais vraiment le meilleur restaurant était bien celui de l’hôtel Lemon. Je vous conseille donc de prendre vos repas directement sur place car les tarifs sont les plus est plutôt abordables. Une. Mention toute particulière au manager qui nous a donné des conseils précieux. Nous avons réorienter notre voyage grâce à lui et à ses conseils.

Can’t fault the staff or the hotel in any way. Great location out of town for a quiet stay but convenient cheap taxi ride to town. Excellent gym and pool. The spa was also excellent. Room service was great, good food.

The hotel staff are really friendly. The bathrooms and rooms are clean, and they come to request room cleaning every day. They are very kind. There is a swimming pool and a restaurant, and if I visit Nepal again, I plan to stay here again

Второй раз была в данном отеле, сделала небольшой отдых для себя на Жень Рождения. Персонал очень приветливый, учли все мои пожелания по номеру. Быстро заселили. Номер очень чистый, красивый, чувствовала себя расслаблено как дома, а за время нескольких месяцев путешествий это очень ценно. Приятный ресторан, хороший выбор на завтрак. На День Рождения, сделали комплимент от отеля это десерт ха завтраком (очень вкусный!) и торт в номер. Расположение отеля в красивом месте с прекрасным видом! Надеюсь приехать ещё раз. Большое спасибо)

Clean , well managed, well behaved staff and excellent food

Approach is a challenge first time. Regular road was under repair- so expected hotel to update about the route to follow

Comforable and location

The property is new and very clean. The staff and manager are so friendly. The room has a nice view, the lounge had amazing view and serves good food and drinks as well as the restaurant.

Didn't do breakfast thist time, but the Saturday buffet was awesome. Also had my favorite dinner dish twice - the veggie mushroom risotto, and the Chef came to my table to explain the care in preparation. He's awesome. I love this place.

Lovely venue with a great view. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Location is a bit out of town.

Staff, facilities and grounds were excellent. Only criticism was that we could hear dogs barking at night, which interrupted our sleep. This was not a fault of the hotel. The Pool was not in use, however the gym, and Spa were first class.

Breakfast was good, but the staffs were excellent.

Room’s heating system was disappointing.

The location was excellent and something I was looking for. If you are someone who wants to stay away from city hustle and noisy streets, this is the place for you. Although being a bit far away, it’s location offers you a whole city view with the mountains on the side.

It is a 5 * Hotel with a 7* hospitality. If you prefer peace and quiet and breathe clean air in Kathmandu, this is the hotel for you. It is located on a hill which may make walking uphill a bit difficult for some, but it is well compensated by the most beautiful sunset you can see over the mountains on the other side.

I stayed here as a travel agent, and I would highly recommend. The free room upgrade was very nice. Beautiful big room with balcony and a lovely view especially at sunset. The bed was comfortable, room was clean, and housekeeping each day. Breakfast was good but not much choice for western travellers (only omelette, waffles & cereal) Staff were helpful and friendly They also have a lovely spa & rooftop pool. Only issue is for couples the ladies & mens jacuzzi, steam room & sauna is separate.

If you don’t have a car it’s difficult to get taxis as it’s very far out, I found taxi drivers would ask for more money on top of the fare. I could hear construction noise and music on some occasions but not a real issue as I had ear plugs

The food was delicious and made with love. Every team member I interacted with was kind, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable during my entire 5-day stay. It’s lil far from city centre so cab service bit difficult some time. Otherwise it’s excellent. Limited veg options in dessert but team helped a lot to arrange other relevant.
