Das Zimmer war leider überhaupt nicht sauber. Vor allem im Bad waren viele Haare auf dem Boden. Die öffentlich zugänglichen Toiletten waren nicht zugänglich.

poor German, poor it screen, my name was mixed with my surname and I was asked ti sihn it, I felt treated at check in as if I were annoying because of this. beds weren't bunk beds but shared marriage couple beds! i was asked ti share with a man in an empty room. staff said 2 more guests but all i saw until 3 am were 2 phone chargers and nothing else but that one man, not the other 2 guests. the other man didn't seem to be sleeping when i entered sfter 1 am. between 2 and 3 am i woke up, i think because he was masturbating. ny bed had been used so i had climbed up to the only untouched bed but still i fekt horrible and he keot lying there on his back breathing strange. i was moved to a room with one other man, too. then to a female dorm.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026직원들 대부분 친절 합니다. 어린 아이들과 동반한 가족들도 보이고 숙소 안전은 좋았으며 개인 여행자나 도미토리 이용경험이 있는 분에게는 모르는 사람과 함께 이용하는 침실의 불편함 보다 식당이나 1층에 이용 가능한 펍 과 간단한 식사도 가능한거 그리고 걸어서 1분 거리에 REWE 가 있다는 점등은 장점이 많은 숙소 입니다
규모에 비해 주방 규모가 작은점은 아쉬운 부분 입니다.

Receptie niet bekend met OV-faciliteiten. Geen Kölncard verkrijgbaar, wordt wel mee geadverteerd. Bagagewagen niet beschikbaar, grote afstand met fietsbagage moeten lopen.

Wel weet even wennen om in een eenpersoonsbed op een slaapzaal te slapen. Het licht had ook een pasje nodig, wat iets minder is wanneer je met 8 onbekende ligt.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Alles war schön eingerichtet, die Rezeption war immer besetzt und man hatte immer eine Ansprechsperson bei Problemen oder um ein Getränk an der Bar zu kaufen. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und haben uns nette Tipps gegeben, was wir noch alles in Köln machen können. In der Lobby gibt es einen Fotoautomaten, um Fotos zu machen. Die Lage des Hostels ist etwas außerhalb, aber dadurch war es sehr ruhig. Die Zimmer waren ordentlich und sauber.
Die Preise der Snacks in der Automaten in der Lobby waren zu teuer.

Man müsste noch mehr über die Bettenbelegung im Frauen-4er-Schlafsaal vorher wissen. Bett auswählen, wie belegt ist das Zimmer, welche Betten sind noch frei. Ich fand es sehr irritierend, dass es neben den 2 Etagenbetten ein Doppelbett gab! Man schläft doch nicht unbedingt mit einer völlig unbekannten Person (die sich erst nach Mitternacht ins Zimmer schleicht) in einem Ehebett!!! :-D Crazy.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Cheguei no hostel cerca de meia noite e fui muito bem recebida pela equipe! Estava cansada e com fome e tinham várias comidas gostosas prontas e um chopinho bem gelado! O café da manhã é excelente e vale muito a pena !
A estação de trem não fica necessariamente longe, mas as ruas na região são mal iluminadas, causando uma sensação de insegurança se você chega à noite, então poderia ser melhor localizado

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Quarto limpo, roupa de cama e toalhas sempre trocadas. Chuveiro bom. Armários para guardar pertences, mas leve seu próprio cadeado. Colegas de quarto amigáveis, mas isso depende da sua sorte.
Na última noite, um dos hóspedes no quarto roncou muito, mas não é culpa do hotel. É algo que você precisa aceitar se está ficando num quarto coletivo. Pelo preço, vale a pena.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026This is a great budget option for four people who don't mind sharing a room - and it is well-connected to get to from the airport and then to get into the city. Additionally, the shared kitchen and cafe in the reception were a wonderful facility.
The room had limited spare towels, toilet roll, pillows, and it had no glasses for water at all. Also after we booked for late checkout, our cards still stopped working at 10.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026It was a nice change of pace to get to try savoury breakfast when it's not common in my own country. I wish there had been more cutlery to get the slices and bread at the self-service.
The soap dispensers, it would have been better had they been automatic, but that's personal preference. The button next to the bed also lit up the whole room which was a bother when people were asleep. (I know about the smaller 'desk' lights). There was also not enough choice for savoury food in the evenings at the lobby when all stores were closed in the surrounding area.

Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und wohl. Insgesamt war alles sauber, gut organisiert und angenehm. Das Hotel kann ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Der Preis ist vielleicht etwas hoch, aber für die Qualität und die Lage insgesamt absolut in Ordnung. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt!

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026This was our favorite Meininger that we visited on our trip! The room was very spacious and the 24 hour bar was a great touch.
The only two downsides from this Meininger were our troubles with the washer/dryers and it would've been nice for the location to be a tad closer to the city. Although it was close to the main part of Koln, it was just far enough where it would take a while to walk. The washers and dryers used the We Wash app and only 1 set out of the 2 were working. The dryer left all of our clothes still wet as well

J'ai apprécié tout particulièrement la situation géographique de l'hôtel : légèrement à l'extérieur de la ville, nous sommes venus en voiture et j'ai voulu éviter de traverser le centre-ville. Nous sommes allés diner en ville en tram (un peu cher : 4€) qui se trouve 10 minutes à pied de l'hôtel. Hôtel est très propre, le petit déjeuner était très bon et le personnel était adorable. Je recommande.

Rooms are clean and comfortable - we had a family room with double bed and bunks and a small ensuite. We were on an upper floor and was very quiet. There's a short walk to the tram which takes you into the centre and a nice Vietnamese restaurant very close by which I'd recommend.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Probably the best quality hostel you could find in this price category, maybe at even a bit higher. Cleaning and fresh towels every days, private bathroom per rooms, nice lobby and bar.
Keep in mind that it's not in the center and you must take a bike or use public transport to get into the city. Also, the only strange thing for me was having to pay for keeping my luggage while waiting for my room, even though I spent 3 nights there.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Bell’hotel, belle camere (minimali ma pulite) parcheggio interno al coperto a pagamento -costoso 17€ ma sempre meno dei restanti luoghi in citta-. In ogni caso si può parcheggiare anche all’esterno gratuitamente. Ho apprezzato moltissimo la cucina in comune (accessoriata in tutto, frigoriferi compresi) per chi come noi ha usato l’hotel come tappa intermedia provenendo da un lungo viaggio e dovendone affrontare un altro altrettanto lungo, e’ stato molto utile conservare cibo e bevande in frigo e poter fare in tranquillità una colazione all’italiana (senza escogitare soluzioni con piastra da campeggio in camera per fare un caffè espresso con classica moka) e cucinare il pranzo per l’asporto. In ogni caso, vi è un buon bar annesso all’hotel con graditi tavoli e sedie all’aperto. Vi sono anche in comune lavatrici/asciugatrici/ ferri da stiro. Anche queste zone comuni erano ben tenute e pulite. Personale dunque attento oltre ad essere gentile e discreto. Ottima la posizione, per la vicinanza di fermata bus o treno che in mezz’ora ti portano al centro della città. Ottimo Internet. Si può tranquillamente soggiornare per più giorni. Eccellente rapporto qualità-prezzo

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026It’s really pleasant that they give you every day a new towel. The bed linen were perfectly clean and with the towel it’s free. The mattress was confortable. The staff was really cool, especially the guy for the breakfast. The breakfast was cool and consistent with the buffet.
You could maybe add a curtain around the bed for more privacy and to not be disturb by people who come late when you are sleeping. Indeed, one of my roommate was rude with his light. Maybe a system in which you could adapt the light would be nice because it’s either dark, either too bright. The system with the care in each room is intelligent but a bit frustrating when two people are at the same time in the room but don’t leave at the same moment. The kitchen requires a lot more tea towels because there is not enough place to let the dishes dry. Moreover, few more smaller pots would be appreciable for alone travellers.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Struttura che si rivela sempre il top per chi viaggia, ottima la possibilità di utilizzare la cucina e il bar aperto 24/24. Il personale è disponibile e gentile, l' ambiente accogliente e funzionale. Assolutamente consigliato.
Forse la mancanza di una nota dolce durante la colazione, avremmo gradito una brioches o una fetta di torta ma il resto era tutto ottimo.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026This was such a good hostel experience, it was spotlessly clean, spacious and had a huge bathroom! Definitely the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The downstairs area is super chill and has plenty of space to relax, the kitchen looked really well equipped although I didn't use it. There is a fantastic supermarket right next door with anything you might need. I would absolutely stay with this brand again.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Гарний сучасний готель. Кімнати чисті та охайні. Закриває потреби на різний смак та гаманець. Є і зона лаунж кафе, і сніданки за додаткову оплату, і кухня з усім необхідним. Навіть пральна та сушильна машина. В зоні готелю є і магазин продуктів. Сподобалось розташування в тихому районі. До центру міста 3 зупинки метро, до нього пішки 8 хв або одна зупинка автобуса. Я задоволена!

Parking prices are a bit steep for avaliable underground parking however, parking in adjoining streets is free as long it is available 😀.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Большая, отремонтированная, современная, комфортная гостиница, в которой было все, что душа пожелает: и тихие номера с чистым постельным бельем, и большая кухня, и любезные сотрудники, и уютный лаунж с баром, и круглосуточная стойка регистрации, и камеры хранения (правда, это автоматические ящики, за отдельную плату), и супермаркет за углом, и автобус тут же (правда, редкий, но по расписанию), а вот трамвай и эска - далековато. Я рад, что был вашим гостем. Спасибо вам!
Могу только предложить чаще мыть кухню: идеальная чистота только в 5 утра, а вот убирают за собой, к сожалению, не все.
