Das Bett hat leider etwas geknarzt und war etwas klein für zwei Personen. Das ganze Haus ist sehr Hellhörig. Aber das ist auch das einzige.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Unterkunft liegt im Siedlungsgebiet außerhalb, in der Nähe vom Strand. Das Zimmer war groß mit modernen, sehr schönen Bad. Das Frühstück kann zu fairen Preisen gegen Barzahlung vor Ort gebucht werden.
Die Matratze könnte besser sein. Die Einrichtung ist puristisch und daher sind die Zimmer auch sehr hellhörig. Um Erdgeschoss wohnen die Gastgeber und im ersten Stock die Gäste mit offenem Flur ohne Trennung.

Sehr nah zu den Cliffs of Moher - gut um da möglichst früh zu sein! Diese unbedingt online buchen, ist dann billiger!

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026What an absolute find! Castle View Rooms exceeded every expectation from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect – just 10 minutes from the Cliffs of Moher and around 20 minutes from Doolin – making it an ideal base for exploring this beautiful part of Ireland. Our room was simply stunning. It was spotless, incredibly spacious, fresh, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. We were genuinely disappointed that we were only staying for one night. The icing on the cake was the breathtaking 180-degree sea view from our room – it was absolutely spectacular. Despite arriving on one of the hottest days of the year, Trisha had thoughtfully opened the windows before we arrived, so the room was wonderfully cool and welcoming. Trisha is an exceptional host – warm, friendly, helpful and genuinely lovely. She made us feel at home straight away. We decided to have breakfast the following morning and it was absolutely delicious. Sitting chatting with Trisha over breakfast was one of those memorable moments that made our stay even more special. Castle View Rooms is one of those rare places that you don't want to leave. We have absolutely no doubt that we'll be returning, and we'll certainly be staying for longer next time. Highly, highly recommended!

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026Sehr großes, sauberes Zimmer, nett eingerichtet, mit komfortabler Sofaecke. Alles wirkt neu. Man kann Frühstück dazubuchen, das wussten wir vorher nicht. Guter Tipp der Gastgeberin: Cliffs of Moher online buchen für 8 Statt 15 Euro.
Das Bett ist sehr schmal, es wäre viel Platz da für ein größeres.

Das Zimmer, eigentlich eine kleine Wohnung, war sehr schön und gemütlich, sehr sauber und excelent ausgestattet. Frühstück war ein Genuss. Können wir nur wärmstens empfehlen.
Dass wir nur eine Nacht bleiben konnten.

A short drive for us from here both into Liscannor for dinner and also to see the fabulous Cliffs of Moher, only 8 minutes drive away. Free parking onsite. Everything about the property and our lovely ensuite room was in tip top condition. So much thought put into every aspect of our stay. Highly recommend!

Reviewed May 18, 2026Unsere Gastgeberin war super freundlich und hat uns noch ein paar gute Tipps für unseren restlichen Urlaub gegeben. Die Räume waren riesig und superschön eingerichtet. Alles war wie neu und super sauber. Parkplatz direkt vorm Haus. Geht man die Straße einfach weiter Richtung Meer kommt man zu den Klippen. Diese sind wirklich umwerfend, besonders wenn zum Abend die Sonne durch die Wolken blitzt! Super Ort um runter zu kommen und die Zeit langsamer laufen zu lassen!
Gibt nix zu meckern.

We didn't get the breakfast option but Trisha, the host said she very accommodating with gluten free, vegetarian options if you decide to go that route. Just 1km from the Liscannor town with pubs, restaurants, etc.

Wonderful walking path loops through fields and along ocean edge access from door, Close to Doolin town and The Burrens . Host Trisha super-nice local Irish fun and friendly helpful.Cooked wonderful breakfast for reasonable rate. Made good recommendations on places to go. Lives w husband on first floor of property. Very secure feeling.

Reviewed Oct 16, 2025Not a lot when we booked the room it was on a bed and breakfast basis. When we checked in we found out breakfast was ten euro extra per person, SCAM. When we booked it was stated that we were 800m fron the town centre and could walk it LIE we were 2k from the town centre and no street lights or pavements , we were unable to walk into the centre, had to use a cab. When we booked the room had all amenities. Our room had no wardrobe so nowhere to hang clothes.
Honesty on the description for the room. 130 euro for the night and no breakfast we felt that we had been scammed.
