Solo traveler is me! I had a very nice stay at this Homestay at Koh Rong, Everything was very good food service room service customer service all services are very good, All staff speak English.

The stay was very nice and housekeeping and front desk was very helpful. The rooms were clean, the customer service was top-notch and the staff member were very accommodating.

The room was spacious with the most comfortable bed I've had. The breakfast choices from traditional English bacon and egg, I love Khmer traditional food like Amok Fish, Lork Lak beef.

The place is comfortable, we are stay here just for one night at our last trip. we found very beatifull hotel, staff always give the best service and food in the restaurant is very tasty

Very central Homestay, great base from which to explore In Cambodia Koh Rong. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Our balcony had a great view of Koh Rong beach and sea veiw. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough to please.

Very secure, big bed, good location by Kaoh Touch beach, staff were 10/10 very accommodating and friendly.

There was a bikini sticker on the wall from the last residents, didn’t feel the cleanest, the main fuse/water switch for the house is in the room so the guy came in and switched it on a few times.

I felt like I wanted to stay longer and would definitely go back again. The hotel is awesome inside the in the atrium and the pool area with bar are very nice.

I and my girlfriend stayed at Koh Rong Homestay and really loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food and drinks were amazing. WiFi worked perfectly, and the air conditioning was cool and comfortable. We had a great stay and would love to come back!

Bed was comfy and the room was very spacious! Very close to everything.

Our aircon was leaking so we constantly had a puddle on the floor. It also left, what looked like, black mould on the wall.

Good location 2 mins from the Main Street. Clean room, good AC, comfortable bed. There were some reviews about going down a “dodgy alley” but it’s just a gap between 2 buildings that takes 10 seconds to walk through…. Also the stairs are a bit steep but again it’s only 1/2 flights. With a backpack it’s fine but maybe not a suitcase.

I am usually not the person to complain but seeing all these good reviews makes me wonder how it’s possible. When we first arrived I had to clean the bathroom myself because it was very, very dirty, especially the toilet. The room also had black mold on the walls because aircon was leaking. A lot of flies as the restaurant outside the room keeps their bins there, which smells horrible. The bedsheets were very worn out as well. The electricity turned off more than 3 times in 2 days. And Wi-Fi was barely working. Couldn’t use my data either because there was no service in the room. I know this is a budget place and I’ve been staying in a lot of budget places. But paying $53 USD for 2 nights is a robbery when the place is in this condition.

I have booked this property based on the description on booking page. Unfortunately description is very misleading. There are no free bikes available at property … I had to rent a bike and pay by myself. It also says there is private beach though 600m away at different resort … same with bar and restaurant also 600m but different direction than beach so from bar to private beach it is 1.2km. One of the comments for that property is wrong, mentioning swimming pool. Definitely there is no swimming pool, it is not a hotel but 2 or 3 rooms one above other. The room (ground floor) is next to kitchen of restaurant/bar where they play very loud music so it is difficult to sleep, There are windows but with a view for a wall in a distance of maybe max 30cm so actually it is very dark place. The hot water and AC sometimes switched off as the fuses went off and you have to switch them on. When I booked that place it was showing discount 39 USD instead of 89 USD. In that price range you can find way better places around.

Very spacious room with a big bed super confortable. The ac is new and very silent you can keep it on all night Long. You get a whole buona g bottlr of water and Coffee and tea. The room has been renewed and is in a small lane near the port. The manager runs also a Restaurant closed to the beach and you can go there and use the sun xhairs and get a discount on the food. He speaks Perfect English and is very kind Just write to the WhatsApp number you get when you reserve

The only small possibile negative thing is that the entrance is between the House and a Restaurant and you have to make tre scales in a very small lane but are very few steps😊 keep in mi d that the Street to go out from the main Village is rought for ab. 1 km and you cannot drive out by yourself if you are not a very very good motordriver

Perfect location in the heart of the city. The service was top-notch, the breakfast was delicious with plenty of option, the beaches very beautiful nearby, the moment we entered the hotel we were treated like royalty.

Located only 150m from ferry pier. Relatively inexpensive accommodation that supplies the basics - effective air-conditioning, WiFi, ensuite bathroom.

Very tight and steep stairwell access to overlying rooms could be a problem for those physically challenged. Wifi signal waivers, or internet access fluctuates. Shower water pressure weak.

Can’t really think of anything we “Liked” about our stay.

The sheets on the bed are scratchy and need to be thrown out. AC and Water supply were questionable.

Big comfortable bed, clean. In good location. Easy check in. Overall good value for money with it being air conned place on the island.

Quite dark without much natural light so just felt a bit dark and dingy. Lots of construction and drilling in the morning. Strong smells would come into the room - some pleasant (the bakery behind), but others unpleasant of nearby cooking with fish sauce.

Need to use the fan with the AC or it would be really warm and flush in toilets are a bit fragile

Comfy bed, new bedsheets and towels, modern AC with lots of settings. Just in front of the pier , everything walking distance. Hot shower available. Communications in English. No mosquitoes (or very few) and no insects or other animals in the room. Wi-fi was good, we managed to work , but in the evening speed was a bit slower

It’s in the middle of buzzing street, so lots of noisy businesses around. If you are a light sleeper, I feel like majority accommodations would be noisy, unless they are in the jungles. But there you will have a lot of insects and other wildlife. There are windows, but all facing other buildings walls.
