Het hotel heeft veel achterstallig onderhoud. Mijn kamers was klein, badkamer oud en alleen kleine handdoeken. Het diner was matig. Het geheel veel te hoge prijs voor de zeer matige kwaliteit. Grote restauratie hard nodig

Le cadre est exceptionnel. Espace spa et piscine très agréable.

Le restaurant est plus que discutable. Le serveur nous a placé à l'extérieur sans meme demander nos préférences. De plus le rapport qualité prix est vraiment à revoir. L'ensemble des plats n'étaient pas savoureux, ni à la hauteur de nos espérances. L'ensemble du personnel ne semble pas être à l'aise avec la clientèle, malgré les efforts fournis.

La chambre et le restaurant c'était moyen.

Beh che dire, dormire in un castello ha un suo effetto! Abbiamo preso un suite su due piani, bellissima con vista sul giardino e sul castello. Il castello internamente è meraviglioso! La piscina non è molto grande ma è molto bella, c'è anche una roccia artificiale con lo scivolo per i bambini!

La stanza scelta (Junior Suite) è dislocata in una struttura a parte e ci è dispiaciuto un po non alloggiare all'interno proprio del castello, ma credo che per la struttura/grandezza della stanza fosse impossibile alloggiare nel castello.

Üppigst dekorierte Zimmer mit bespannten Wänden. Tolle ruhige Lage. Kleiner, aber feiner Außenpool. Restaurant in einem wunderschönen Saal mit Kronleuchtern und viel Stuck. Reichliches Frühstück.

Das Abendessen war französisch-gut, aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Das junge Personal wirkte anfangs etwas überfordert, lief sich im Laufe des Abends dann aber ein. Auf dem behaupteten Niveau - und bei dem Preis - darf man mehr erwarten. Insgesamt hat man den Eindruck, dass die gesamte Anlage schon bessere Zeiten gesehen hat. Die eine oder andere Renovierung täte gut. Aber die Zeiten sind wahrscheinlich nicht danach, wie überall. Schade!

Vétusté des chambres (toilettes HS, applique cassée, propreté douteuse, pression de l eau inexistante, eau chaude « tiède » , etc.); mesquinerie de service (SPA payant yc. Pour les juniors suite) . Restaurant de bonne facture malgré quelques imprécisions de service et… de facture

Stanze totalmente da ristrutturare. Sono ancora con struttura anni 70. Bagni di 50 anni fa, poca o nessuna manutenzione. Molti gradini per raggiungere la camera (che ha ancora la chiave!!!! Il badge esiste ormai da 30 anni) e ho dovuto portare da il bagaglio.

The food at the restaurant was exceptional. We had lunch , dinner and breakfast. The spa is just great, if you pass by get a massage!

We paid an extra charge for our dog but did not get the pet-package. I am aware I did not give a heads up to the hotel that I was arriving with a dog but they had the entire afternoon to bring the pet-package to our room. Our pet had a great time at the hotel nevertheless :).

Bien évidemment le lieu est féerique, les chambres sont confortables et le restaurant de haute volée… mais le plus marquant est la gentillesse et le professionnalisme du personnel à la fois présent et discret.

Le spa mériterait d’être rafraîchi ; les salles de bain aussi.

Bel établissement proposant nombreuses activités et accueillant pour les enfants. Très bon restaurant.

Wonderful space- the room above the restaurant was a spectacular place to sit and eating on the terrace in the evening was amazing. Superb food and a great wine list at reasonable prices.

La chambre décorée dans son bleu roi, le spa , la piscine, les terrains de padel, la qualité de service. C était vraiment un super séjour pour lequel j aurai plaisir à revenir .

Les boissons du petit déjeuner, quel dommage d avoir à faire à une machine du même acabit qu on trouve sur l autoroute. Le wifi qu on n’a pas réussi à avoir durant tout le séjour malgré plusieurs demandes

Inserita in un bosco privato la struttura è un castello maestoso. La zona piscina esterna e tennis pulita e confortevole. Giardini molto curati.

Pulizie della camera nel tardo pomeriggio e frettolose. Per una location di alto livello alcuni dettagli lasciati al caso. La zona spa intesa la sauna e il bagno turco sono piccoli.

The restaurant is slow and the menu offered is not so exceptional as expected , also overpriced. Some services need improvement. Rooms are old and need upgrades.

Rooms need renovation, bathroom disaster, poor breakfast , terrible coffee.

Alles war sehr zerfallen, der Pool passt im Stiel gar nicht zum Schloss und oben in den Zimmergängen war es rumpelig, überall standen die Türen zu den Putzkammern offen. Viel zu teuer für so ein runtergekommenes Schloss.

Accueil toujours parfait. Personnel très attentif. Diner au restaurant très très bien (cuisine et service) Cadre magnifique.

La salle de bains trop à l'ancienne devrait être modernisée pour être plus confortable.

Staff not that helpful on the day we arrived. Reluctant to prepare any food for us as it was past lunchtime. With some persuasion they prepared a lovely charcuterie board. Unclear why it was such an issue.

Alcuni piatti in menu immangoabili (es. vitella con fregola) soggiorno in 22 out 24 giugno 2026, stanza 22.

Aria condizionata efficiente ma di difficilissima regolazione. Ascensore inadeguato (P.S. controllate la pulizia del lampadario dello scalone in ingresso; è LURIDO !!!)

The Chateau D'Artigny estate is serene and pristine. Good breakfast and dinner.

Our room was not in the main chateau but a side block. Felt letdown - thought we will be staying in the main chateau with beautiful rooms

We loved everything at this hotel! The staff (especially at breakfast where the waiter laid the table so that we could sit by the window), evening dinner on the terrace, the pool and our room upgrade. Little things like the WiFi extending all the way to the pool which make a difference

The beauty of the castle and its surroundings, the staff, the delicious food, the room was comfortable, beautiful spa.

The steam room was not functioning properly and the jacuzzi could be hotter and some of the activation switches were not working. I also wish that the pool was bigger but it’s lovely.

Me gustó todo. El lugar, la amabilidad y eficiencia del personal, el excelente desayuno y el restaurante, donde cenamos. Recomiendo alojarse en el mismo Château. Nosotros debimos alojarnos en el anexo, ya que queríamos habitaciones dobles con camas separadas y ya no había disponibilidad en el edificio principal. De todas formas, nuestras habitaciones eran muy amplias y cómodas y como estábamos con auto, nos trasladamos para desayunar y cenar, con el mismo, desde un edificio a otro, ya que hacía frío y llovía.

We had a lovely stay overall. The staff were all extremely welcoming and attentive, and the setting is truly beautiful with wonderful views. The food was delightful on the day we dined, and the rooms were comfortable, though they would benefit from some updating, particularly the bathroom. We noticed the bidet wasn’t delivering any water, and the sink didn’t provide enough hot water to shave, so we had to boil the kettle. A little more attention to detail would elevate the experience even further. A long‑handled duster would help with the cobwebs and dust on the otherwise magnificent chandeliers, and the lift is very small. In the public areas, the loos in the château were quite compact and only had paper towels, whereas the swimming‑pool facilities offered fabric towels, which felt more in keeping with the setting. It would also have been helpful to have a printed guide to the amenities along with a simple map of the property. Despite these points, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the warm hospitality.

The rooms were beautiful and spacious and the view out our window was absolutely stunning. The staff were some of the best I have encountered: warm, welcoming, helpful. The breakfast buffet offered plenty of delicious options. The little town of Montbazon was cute and Dolce Vita restaurant is a must go.

The dinner we had at the restaurant was only average. Menu options were limited so I had chicken and one other of us had veal. The veal had very little taste so definitely not a good choice. The service was amazing. One little detail: there were 2 pugs and a large Italian hound dog in the restaurant. I didn't mind at all but some might.

Dinner was awesome, we enjoyed the sommelier helping us pick the right wine for our dinner. Chateau was beautiful, in a great location.

The bar menu could have had a larger selection of wines. The selection of wines in the restaurant was huge.

What an absolute pleasure to be able to stay in a property like this once we learnt the history of the property it was owned and developed by the Cody family. We were very impressed with the state of repair and overall ambience of the Château.

Unfortunately the rooms are a little tired and in need of updating however they were clean and tidy and the bathrooms were adequate. The staff went to great links to explain that there is a significant renovation program taking place over the next few years which will see our bedrooms and bathrooms upgraded.

What I loved about staying at Château d’Artigny was how effortlessly it made me feel like I stepped into another world. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful, the kind of place where even a simple walk felt romantic and cinematic. I loved the elegance of the château itself, but what stood out most was the feeling, quiet luxury, charm, and a sense of slowing down to really enjoy where I was. It felt like a little fairytale tucked into the Loire Valley, and for a moment, life just felt softer there.

My stay at Château d’Artigny was truly memorable. Beyond the beauty of the château and its peaceful, storybook setting, what made the experience so special was the people. Every interaction felt warm and genuine. From the restaurant staff, to the front desk team, to the spa, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. They made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived, and that level of hospitality turned a beautiful stay into one I’ll always remember.

Le cadre est somptueux, la salle de déjeuner/diner est parfaitement décorée comme à l'époque. Le petit déjeuner tres copieux, et petit remerciemenet au reponsable pour ses petits soins (double expresso:))

Les commodités sont peut-être un peu vétustes et à réparer (WC et ROBINETTERIE). Le personnel du restaurant n'est pas très réactif et il y a de l'attente pour être vus! Notamment pour compléter nos verres de vins ou ne serait -ce que du pain!

Por ser um hotel fora de um centro, o menu do restaurante poderia contemplar também pratos para diferentes paladares Embora pareça estranho que, sendo na França, pedir que tivessem não apenas a comida "demasiadamente francesa", deve-se entender que há muitos hóspedes que não se sentirão confortáveis em ter como única opção de carne bovina, o timo de vitelo (moleja, pâncreas).
