We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Zen Inn in Fulhadhoo. The hotel itself is fantastic, beautifully designed, very comfortable, and with a truly “zen” atmosphere that makes it the perfect place to relax and disconnect. However, what truly made this experience unforgettable was the warmth and kindness of the staff. We genuinely believe that neither in the Maldives nor in any future hotel stays will we receive the same level of care and attention we experienced here. From the owner, to the gentleman who kindly took us to the beach, every detail was handled with such genuine hospitality. And a very special mention to our dear friend from Darjeeling: your service was simply outstanding. We hope you read this review because you deserve to know how incredible you were. The conversations we shared and the attention you gave to me and my husband were beyond anything we’ve experienced, even in 5-star hotels across Europe. Not to mention: you make the best coffee and milkshakes in the world! And we cannot forget the restaurant: the food is IMPRESSIVELY good. Truly outstanding. A big round of applause to the chef! Great location right by the ocean. Helpful and responsive staff. They solved any issues quickly.

Some of the linens and towels had small stains, which wasn’t very pleasant. Also, some of the bathroom fixtures/plumbing felt worn. Breakfast could be more varied, with more fruit options.

Tout était parfait. La communication, la logistique, l’accueil, la chambre, les repas, l’ambiance… tout le personnel ainsi que les gérantes étaient au petit soin pour nous. Mention spéciale pour les concerts et les excursions proposées…

The location was amazing right on the beachfront. The owners were amazing and helpful and very attentive to guests needs and requests. The restaurant was by far the best we ate at on the island. Great to be welcomed by, the owner provided the transfer and welcome drinks with a personal explanation of what's around and island rules. The room was spacious and clean. Entertainment provided every few nights with local music / singing. The staff was very friendly especially the waiter. WiFi signal was good and speeds fast everywhere around the guest house.

Could have done with a fridge in the room. The room is pretty basic with no TV etc but that's pretty standard for many guests houses in the Maldives. Food was a little on the expensive side but worth the money but drinks we felt were overpriced, $5 for iced tea with syrup flavouring with other places we stayed around the $3 mark and local cafes $1.5 to $2 but if you are on a right budget there are other places around to eat and buy drinks.

Sarah war eine so aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Weil das Speed Boot gecancelt wurde und wir noch länger auf das nächste Boot warten mussten, fühlte sich das Hotel dafür verantwortlich und erließ uns die Kosten für den Transfer, lud uns auf ein Abendessen ein und sponserte sogar noch einen Manta-Schnorchelausflug mit Freunden des Hauses. Auch das restliche Personal war sehr nett und tat alles für unser Wohlbefinden. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Wasser, allerdings kein Badestrand. Besonders der Live-Musikabend hat uns gefallen. Ausstattung,Essen und Service: alles sehr gut! Fulhadhoo ist eine tolle Insel,wenn man als Individualtourist die Malediven erkunden will. Traumhafte Farben: türkis, weißer Sand,- einfach toll! Die Zahl der Touristen ist überschaubar.Wir werden Fulhadhoo und die netten Gastgeber nie vergessen.

Die Unterkunft hat uns super gefallen. Wer auf Fulhadhoo Urlaub macht, muss sich aber bewusst sein,dass hier wie so oft in Paradiesen das Umweltbewusstsein nicht so ausgeprägt ist wie in Deutschland oder anderen mitteleuropäischen Ländern....

We had an amazing stay in Fulhadhoo. The people were absolutely incredible, always kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful. Whenever the buggy was available, they gladly took us to the beach, which made everything very easy and comfortable. Breakfast was great and exactly what we needed to start the day, and the food at the restaurant was also excellent, always fresh and delicious. This place truly made our stay special and unforgettable. We would love to come back again in the future.

Zen Inn was such a lovely hotel. The staff was extremely nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was delicious and the location was even better. It’s such a peaceful getaway and would highly recommend.

The people were incredible! They would go above and beyond at every possible opportunity to help us! They modified trips for me with my crutches, brought plant based milks (without us asking) from Male to make our coffees the way we like them, customised food for vegetarians, helped us with boat bookings, recommendations and drove us to the best part of the beach on the buggy to save us walking. The room was fantastic with a lovely outdoor sitting area. The cafe area was a great place to start the day in front of the sea and they played live music every couple of nights which made the atmosphere incredible. We didn’t want to leave!

Large and clean rooms directly located at a beautiful (non-bikini) beach area. Nice seating area in front of the rooms. Good breakfast is included in the own restaurant where you also can have dinner. The staff is very kind and helpful. Tours can be booked directly with their partner Flow Ventures. The guys also happily provide a free ride to the bikini beach which otherwise is a 15-20 minutes walk.

The bathroom can smell a little musty.

Besides the place which is nice clean and beachfront, we really liked all the staff working there. Everyone is very smiling and willing to help! the patio in front of the room was a great way to relax in the evening after a day full of activities. We also liked the restaurant and the live music was a great way to enjoy the evening and get the possibility to meet the other guests. The hotel also offers activity through Flow, we have done several snorkelling tours with them and we have really enjoyed it. Thanks to everyone who made our stay unforgettable we will sure be back.

Innanzitutto la totale assenza dei proprietari e la mancanza di risposte se non dopo continui messaggi, avevo chiesto di organizzarci il trasferimento tramite seaplane ma all'arrivo in aeroporto siamo rimasti abbandonati a noi stessi, avrebbero dovuto inviarci i biglietti prima di partire, almeno il giorno prima e non stare io lì a capire a quale compagnia di seaplane fare riferimento. L'accoglienza è stata fredda, per una Guesthouse gestita da persone locali mi sarei aspettata un caloroso benvenuto ed un minimo di interazione , ma i proprietari erano assenti anche da Whatsapp. Rapporto qualità prezzo non soddisfacente, prezzo non consono ai servizi offerti, basta guardare altre strutture decisamente più accoglienti e organizzate. Mancava il sapone, ombrelli non forniti nella camera, letto scomodo, in camera non c'era neanche un documento/depliant di informazione o con la lista delle attività e del menù del ristorante. Zona antistante poco curata. Struttura con tanto potenziale, ma mal organizzata e gestita, risposte inesistenti. Non si può delegare la gestione a pochi dipendenti che sono costretti a gestire tutto contemporaneamente! Le esigenze del cliente andrebbero anticipate e non abbandonare il cliente a sé stesso.

I sincerely thank all the Zenn inn team, the two ladies that welcomed us, were very helpful and nice, we even had a chance to see one of them sing beautifully 😍 , the waiters always willing to help with a big smile and Ahmed Hoodh the excursion manager, we had the chance to go on excursions with him, very friendly and nice guy, and what an incredible voice he has!!! We assisted at a singing session in one evening. Our trip to Fulhadhoo was so enjoyable thanks to all them, I cannot thank them enough 😍 The breakfast was good you can choose between different options, i always went for the maldivian breakfast and never got bored of it. We ate a few times at their restaurant, the food was good and abordable compared to some other restaurants in the island. We had so much fun in Fulhadhoo island, it is a very peaceful island very few tourists, it feels very remote and the nature is beautiful and untouched. I recommend this island and Zenn inn fulhadhoo hotel!!!

The only downside is that it's not very soundproof, we could hear the room next to us.

Everyrhing. We had an amazing stay. The staff is incredible, Sara and Suha are extremely welcoming and caring. The whole staff is amazing, always smiling and making everything to make us feel great.

A wonderful place,I highly recommend it! The location is excellent, right next to a beautiful beach. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the food is really good. I hope I’ll have the chance to return someday. :)

The only thing that could make the stay even better would be having a small fridge in the room.

Stayed for four nights and it was a total gem! The owners went above and beyond – super proactive and made our holiday truly memorable. The most beautiful vacation of our lives! We initially stayed one week at Zen Inn, but we ended up extending our stay because we loved it so much — both my boyfriend and I. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Let me begin with the staff, who were absolutely wonderful. They arranged our transport to the island, welcomed us with genuine smiles, and on our departure day they all came to say goodbye and even prepared a packed breakfast for us since we couldn’t eat before leaving. Any problem we had was solved immediately, and they helped us with absolutely everything we needed. We truly felt taken care of. A special mention goes to Riwa, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. He was always there for us, served our meals with great care, and brightened our vacation with his positive energy. His smile lifted our mood every day — even on mornings when we woke up a bit grumpy. For us, he felt like a real friend. We highly recommend the activities with Flow Ventures. They took the most beautiful drone photos and videos for us, we enjoyed live music, and we went ocean fishing. We repeated the fishing trip three times because the fish we caught was cooked for us in the evening — and it was without exaggeration the best fish we have ever eaten. The chef cooked it perfectly, and the lemon garlic butter sauce was absolutely amazing with the fresh fish. The food in general was excellent. The Maldivian breakfast and the fruit pancakes were our favorites in the morning. The tuna steak was incredible — we ordered it several nights in a row — and the pizza was just as good. The milkshakes, frappes, teas… we loved absolutely everything. There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t enjoy. Cleanliness was impeccable. The roomboy cleaned everything daily, and the rooms were always spotless, without any sand, even though we came from the beach every day. Everything was extremely clean from the moment we arrived until the moment we left.

Our stay at Zen inn felt like a second home. The coziness of the place, together with the excellent decoration and the vibe of the place made it our favorite hotel out of the ones we have stayed in Maldives. The guesthouse itself is in a great location, with a beautiful view to the sea and plenty of trees, making it like a piece of paradise. The room was spacious and comfortable, facing the sea, and super clean. The attention of the staff was over the top, and they would always greet us with a smile. They welcomed us at the harbor and gave us a great briefing about the island as well as some recommendations for snorkeling tours (their partners Flow Ventures were very professional, highly recommended). Zen’s breakfast selection was really well catered for all tastes. Their restaurant is also outstanding. The food is amazing and they have a great selection of fresh fish. Their garlic butter sauce was just perfect. We did pre-order a couple of times, which the staff recommended to avoid a long waiting time if the restaurant is full. Overall, Zen is a great place to stay in Fulhadhoo, and the twin sisters who run the place are fantastic.

My wife and I visited for our honeymoon and loved our time at Zen! The location is perfect and the staff are very helpful, along with the great food! We definitely recommend people stay at Zen if they visit the island.

Whilst the food was good the service was a little slow sometimes.

We had an amazing five-day stay at Zen Inn in Fulhadhoo! The host and staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The food was delicious, and our room was always spotless. The guesthouse is perfectly situated just a short walk from bikini beach. Thank you for the warm hospitality, and we will definitely return!

Everything was good, but I would like to have separate face towels and hand soap near the sink. Because wiping your face with body towels is not convenient and not pleasant. And hand soap is not convenient to take from a cheap booth.

We recently stayed at this hotel with my wife, and it was an unforgettable experience! The location is perfect – right on the ocean, with stunning views that made every breakfast feel so special. Just imagine starting your day with delicious food and that breathtaking turquoise water in front of you. The breakfasts were amazing – everything was fresh and tasty, with plenty of options to choose from. But what really stood out was the staff. They were incredibly kind, always smiling, and made us feel so welcome. We celebrated my wife’s birthday during our stay, and the hotel went above and beyond to make it magical. They organized a romantic dinner on the beach for us, and it was just perfect – one of the most beautiful experiences we’ve ever had. They even surprised us with a gift, which was such a thoughtful touch. The whole island felt like paradise – the beach was hands down the best we’ve ever seen, with powdery white sand and crystal-clear water. If you’re dreaming of the Maldives with postcard-perfect views, this is the place to go. We had the best time and can’t wait to come back one day!
