The location is perfect for someone who wishes to explore the area by car or by bike but it is otherwise isolated from other services.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026The place is absolutely amazing. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. There is a parking in front of the hotel. The breakfast was very good. There is a good selection of different options plus you can always ask for scramble eggs. Near by you can find few restaurants. Manuele is great. She is making sure that everyone feels like home. She was quick in responding to any queries. It is now one of my favourite places to stay.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Very large, clean, tidy apartments, just as they should be. Everything is thought out, from the essentials, amenities to the smallest details. The hostess welcomed us very well, constantly asked if anything was missing, even when she found out that we were with a dog, she did not charge extra. Parking in front of the house is free and spacious. In general, everyone around, both the staff and the residents, is very polite. Breakfast is simple, but delicious. Overall, this is an exemplary hotel I have ever stayed at.
We really liked everything, we are glad that we chose this particular hotel, it's just a pity that our stay was short, because we were traveling further and it was like an intermediate point. Best wishes to the staff.

Světlá místnost s dostatečným úložným prostorem, tichá menší lednice, 40“ SmartTV, dobré osvětlení včetně lampiček na čtení, u postelí jsou též zásuvky na nabití mobilu USB i 220 V, v horkém dni jásáme nad tichou klimatizací. Dvoulůžko bylo perfektní, široké (90 cm) vyšší tvrdší matrace, příjemné povlečení a polštář, v okně závěsy, v noci v penzionu ticho, okna skvěle eliminují případný hluk, spalo se tu fajn. Koupelna s oknem, sprchový kout s hlubší vaničkou a příjemné osušky, super. V pokoji i celém penzionu bylo velmi čisto a příjemně, inventář jak nový, k dispozici je ve vstupní hale i mikrovlnka, varná konvice a automat na nápoje, což se může hodit. Snídaňový bufet byl velmi bohatý, paní majitelka příjemná a usměvavá, péče o penzion majitele viditelně baví, což se projevuje v kvalitě.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026V penzionu jsme se zastavili s manželkou na našem cyklovýletu po Alpe Adria. Je kousek od italské hranice. Mimořádně milá paní majitelka. Pokoj s balkonem a hezkým výhledem, dost velký a pohodlný. Kola bez problému bezpečně v garáži. Penzion je hned vedle cyklostezky. Druhý den po snídani jsme pokračovali. V místě není žádná dobrá restaurace, dva podniky, které zde jsou, měly zavřeno. Doporučuji večeři v Arnoldsteinu. V penzionu je automat na nápoje a samozřejmě poskytuje snídani. Měli jsme obavy z hluku ze silnice, ale okna jsou dobře odizolovaná a pokoj klimatizovaný. Navíc provoz v noci byl minimální.
Nevím o ničem.

das Zimmerfenster kann man eigentlich nicht geöffnet lassen weil die Straße ziemlich laut ist, und wo man das Gebläse der Klimaanlage zurück drehen kann, konnten wir leider nicht finden.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026The service of the local owner Manuela was close to perfect, nothing was problem for her. She was always in a positive mood. The room was clean, well equipped, prepared for us. The breakfast was excellent, very well prepared and nicely arranged.
The surrounding of the acommodation was not the nicest one, but this place is very good for bikers and also as a place to stay overnight for those travelling to/from Italy.

Restaurants hinter der Grenze wenige 100 sichere Meter zu Fuß, oder genauso in Gegenrichtung. Schöne Ausblicke. In jeder Hinsicht angenehmer Aufenthalt mit gutem Komfortniveau. Frühstück hochwertig und vielseitig. Highlight die ausgesprochen freundliche Gastgeberin, unaufdringlich, aber außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit und um jeden einzelnen Gast bemüht. Für Radeln, Wandern, Zwischenstopp usw. bestens geeignet.

Reviewed Jun 22, 2026Wir wurden von Frau Galle herzlich empfangen, die Eincheckzeit war flexibel zu handhaben. Unser Zimmer war brandneu renoviert und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ebenso der Gastraum. Alles, wie es sein soll. Das Frühstück war fein, mit leckeren Broten und Brötchen, Ei nach Wunsch und wenn etwas leer war, konnte alles jederzeit nachbestellt werden. Achtung: es gibt noch andere, nur teilweise renovierte Zimmer. Deren Möbel sind auch noch sehr gut in Schuss (Qualitätsmöbel, da ist nix abgewohnt!), aber halt noch im "Eiche hell" Design. Für Fahrräder gibt es wohl eine abgeschlossene Garage, welche von anderen Gästen gerne genutzt wurde. Ausflugsziele in der nahen Umgebung sind u.a. das Bunkermuseum am Wurzen Pass sowie das Drei-Länder Eck.
Die (ganz neue und wertige!) Klimaanlage ist in ihren Einstellmöglichkeiten leider sehr beschränkt (einzig ein/ aus sowie die Temperatur lässt sich wählen) und bleibt dadurch hinter ihren Möglichkeiten zurück. Die Zimmer liegen im ersten Stock. Das Treppenhaus ist angenehm breit, aber einen Aufzug gibt es nicht.

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026Paní hostitelka byla strašně milá. Vše bylo krásně připraveno. Pokoj čistý, uklizený. Přijeli jsme s malým jezevčíkem, byl taky hezky uvítán. Snídaně venku i vevnitř, velký výběr. Bezlepkové pečivo jsem velmi ocenila. Klimatizaci na pokoji v horkých dnech jsme velmi ocenili.

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026Die Chefin Manuela war überaus freundlich und symphatisch. Sie besorgt in der Umgebung viele Bio Lebensmittel für das Frühstück und schaut besonders auf Qualität. Wir würden bei ihr jederzeit wieder übernachten. Für Radfahrer eine gute Adresse.

Reviewed Jun 12, 2026Direkt am Alpe-Adria Radweg, große Fahrradgarage, persönlicher und empathischer Empfang durch Frau Galle, ausreichendes Frühstück mit frischem Obst, Schirme vorhanden, nächstes Restaurant (spanisch u.a. mit Tapas und Paella) 10 Gehminuten entfernt/empfehlenswert!!

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Frühstück war sehr gut, alles frisch und sehr ansprechend serviert Wir waren mit dem Fahrrad da, liegt direkt an der Alpe Adria Strecke. Wir hatten einen Regentag. Da war das warme Zimmer ( Haus) wie ein Geschenk. Es war sogar eine Mikrowelle und ein Wasserkocher da. Zimmer sind groß und gemütlich. Obwohl es an der Straße liegt hört man dank den schalldichten Fenster nichts von der Straße. Herzlichen Dank

kein Restaurant/ Laden in der Nähe und der Getränkeautomat ist sehr schmal bestückt. Wer am Abend noch etwas essen will, sollte sich zur italienischen Grenze orientieren
