Apartment was beautiful. Location was outside of downtown. Breakfast was brought by Host, coffee was available in the apartment.

Between the bright security light outside of the window in the bedroom, and the dog barking all night, it was difficult to sleep.

Everything about this stay was exceptional! From check in to departure, Fernando was both accommodating and helpful. The building has been completely remodeled and everything was brand new. It was clean, orderly, I had everything I needed including a breakfast every day, and most importantly (as a solo traveler from out of country) I felt safe. The parking inside the gate was essential for me having a large amount of equipment with me every day. This place was PERFECT. I would highly highly recommend!

Really good location not far from Ruta 40 and less than 200 meters from a small shopping mall with a WalMart sort of store that carries lots of food and other items; there's also a small auto service store that has an excellent car wash--useful for an excellent, complete wash of dirty rental cars for a surprisingly low price. BTW, the WalMart type of store has a laundry service that is also really reasonable and quick. As for the Complejo itself, loved it! Very new, clean, easy to reach with very helpful staff. How new? Lots of the appliances had obviously never been used. Rooms were large, bed and couch comfortable, everything seemed to work. Didn't know this until day before leaving, but there's an upstairs/rooftop covered BBQ sort of area for outdoor grilling and get-togethers. Maybe not the most scenic view of San Juan but a nice option if you get tired of eating in the apartment all the time.

As this was a very last-minute booking, neither my business associate (who rented an adjoining apartment) nor I read the fine print saying payment would be collected upon check-in and American cash was preferred. I never carry that amount of cash unless I'm carrying weapons or accompanied by those who do; like most American travelers, I find it more convenient to pay with plastic. But the owner was understanding, ended up obtaining a mobile card-processing machine and accepted my card. The more irritating other thing was one of the neighbors has a yappy dog that starts its barking when the sun goes down and often starts up throughout the night--like 02:30 the first night of my stay.
