Reviewed Aug 16, 2026We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The scenery was breathtaking with gorgeous mountain views and the most beautiful sunrises to start the morning. The home itself was the ultimate cozy getaway—featuring a wonderful closed-pipe fireplace that kept the space warm and inviting, plus super comfortable beds with cozy bedding that made for a fantastic night's sleep. We had everything we needed and felt completely at home. Precious was a genuinely superb hostess with brilliant, prompt communication from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would love to return.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026This was a very comfortable house for our family stay at Highland Gate. The kitchen was well stocked and the rooms very comfortable. The electric blankets were a welcome addition and the fireplace in the lounge area is special and warms the whole area. The en-suite bathroom was huge and the shower fantastic.
No complaints per se but the Wifi is patchy in the house and I needed to work. It does not have the views that some of the other houses in the estate have but all in all a very comfortable stay.

Reviewed Dec 5, 2025The property is well-equipped and spacious, well located just outside of Dullstroom on a secure golf estate. All needs catered for with great facilities, comfortable beds. The golf estate in the Mpumalanga Highlands has many good and safe walking and running routes and the staff is very accommodating, responsive and helpful
The door key code had changed before arrival. Towels from the previous guests were still in the tumble dryer on our arrival
