The view was amazing, stunning. Combined with the lovely pool. The twin houses are very cosy and beautiful.

Set times for breakfast and dinner. We are more used to just go and we dont mind to wait for our food. Here you had to tell the time and be there.

Het uitzicht is prachtig en de eigenaar en het andere personeel heel vriendelijk en altijd behulpzaam. Het zwembad is heel mooi hoewel wij er helaas vanwege non stop regen en vrij lage temperaturen weinig gebruik van konden maken.

Wij vonden het eten oke,Maar zeker niet geweldig. Het is overvloedig maar vrij basic. Het verblijf zit behoorlijk afgelegen dus je gaat ook niet makkelijk ergens anders eten. De badkamer is leuk aangelegd met half buiten gevoel met met veel regen is dat minder comfortabel. Ook hadden wij vrijwel nooit warm water. De televisie hangt meer ter decoratie. Je kunt er geen verbinding mee maken.

Super friendly owners and very comfortable cabins

Wir waren schon zweimal hier — und das ist bei uns wirklich keine Selbstverständlichkeit. Aber wenn eine Unterkunft so schön ist, kommt man eben wieder. Die Lage ist wunderbar, der Ausblick über die Teeplantagen und den Regenwald atemberaubend. Der kleine Pool wurde von unseren Kindern und uns täglich und ausgiebig beansprucht. Alles super sauber, nett eingerichtet, man fühlt sich sofort wohl und kann die Seele baumeln lassen. Und dann ist da noch der Gastgeber — einfach unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit. Absolute Empfehlung. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. wenn wir noch mal in Sri Lanka sind!

Mooie huisjes, supernetjes en schoon. Geweldig uitzicht. Kleinschalig, zijn alleen deze twee huisjes. Op locatie maken ze simpel maar goed eten. Ontbijt was heerlijk. Leuk om naar het regenwoud te gaan. Dat kunnen ze daar allemaal voor je regelen. De eigenaar/het personeel zijn supervriendelijk en behulpzaam. Aanrader!

Die Unterkunft ist definitiv weiter zu empfehlen. Das Haus ist herrlich am Regenwald gelegen mit einem atemberaubenden Blick. Alles war sauber. Das Bad hat eine riesige offene Dusche (mit einem Gitter abgedeckt) und die Toilette/Waschbecken sind überdacht. Wir waren im Juli dort und es waren keine Mücken da. Auch bei uns hat sich ein Frosch ins Bad verirrt- aber für uns kein Problem man ist ja im Dschungel. Der Pool ist herrlich und top gepflegt. Das Personal war sehr, sehr höflich und zuvorkommend und das Essen super lecker. Für die Kids gab's auch Nudeln mit Tomatensauce und Pommes. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt.

The setting is absolutely breathtaking. The view from the cabin is something I'll remember for a long time, and waking up to that scenery was truly the highlight of my stay.

The Wi-Fi wasn't great, but that wasn't a big concern for me. The main issue was that both the toilet and the shower are located outdoors. During heavy rain, it was extremely inconvenient and sometimes impossible to use the toilet without getting soaked. There were also a lot of mosquitoes, so I found myself constantly using insect repellent whenever I needed to use the bathroom. There are only two cabins, and unfortunately the outdoor shower for mine was blocked during my stay. If these facilities were better maintained, the overall experience would match the incredible beauty of the location.

Great place to stay, easy to go into the rainforest and the staff were so helpful!

De locatie met uitzicht vanuit de kamer en zwembad was fenomenaal. De serre om te eten zat op een toffe plek. 's Avonds werd het hotel ook super mooi verlicht. Ook waren we zo in het Sinharaja Forest, de eigenaar kon dat allemaal regelen.

Ik kan echt helemaal niets verzinnen. Alles was echt tof!

Upstairs could be nicer in presentation, and finishing touches as downstairs was immaculate.

Echt een hidden gem! Een waanzinnig uitzicht, met eigen zwembad! Het zit achterafgelegen, maar dat is geen probleem, want er zijn tuktuks. We hebben hoer heerlijk als gezin met 6 gezeten.

Het avondeten was ok, maar niet altijd top. Voor ons was dit prima.

La vue sur les plantations de thé est juste incroyable, la bienveillance d'Amila, l'organisation d'une petite randonnée dans la forêt primaire, et bien entendu la piscine ! :)

La vue depuis le logement est vraiment sympa ! De quoi profiter d'un moment très paisible dans la piscine. Notre hôte était adorable et propose pleins de services (rainforest tour, restaurant, taxi, tuk tuk). Logement propre, paisible, et bien équipé. Seulement 2 cabanons.

Pour une telle vue, le logement est assez éloigné de tout, il faut 30min pour rejoindre l'une des 2 entrées de la forêt de Sinharaja.

Geweldig mooie locatie. Erg ruime en comfortabele kamer. Veel luxe. Heerlijk zwembad. Ruim bed. Opties om ter plaatse te eten. Mooi aanbod voor een vroegochtendexcursie in het regenwoud, gericht op vogels.

Compleet niks!

Wij vonden het een droom plek! Een oase van rust, middenin de natuur. Een heerlijk huis met alles erop en eraan. Het personeel is uiterst vriendelijk en heeft de tour door het regenwoud perfect voor ons gepland. De handdoeken roken lekker en de jerrycan met warm en koud water was een uitkomst! Lekker om tussendoor op te frissen in het zwembad. Ook mooie luxe meubels in en buiten bij het huisje. De bedden sliepen top! Naast ons huisje al heel veel mooie vogels en reptielen gespot. In 1 woord PRACHTIG ❤️

Als ik dan iets zou moeten zeggen dan dat de waterval douche niet werkte en dat er alleen lauw water uit de douche komt. Maar dat is echt een bijzaak en heeft ons verblijf er niet minder om gemaakt.

Een fantastische plek, waanzinnig uitzicht. Het huisje was mooi en redelijk ruim. Je kan er fijn buiten zitten. Mooi zwembad erbij. Super vriendelijke eigenaar.

Leuk houten huisje met werkelijk prachtig uitzicht. Een oase van rust en groen. Mooi zwembad voor de deur. Je moet van te voren doorgeven wat je wilt eten en dan zorgen zij dat het 45 minuten later klaarstaat.

Op de banken buiten zou het fijn zijn als er kussens zijn. Je zit een beetje hard.

Our stay at Aadiv Twin Villas was the absolute highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. The hotel is beautiful and full of charm, located in one of the most stunning regions we visited. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful – he truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well cared for. There’s also a lovely swimming pool with breathtaking views – the perfect place to relax and take in the surroundings. And the food… absolutely unforgettable! We had the best curry in all of Sri Lanka right here. A perfect place for anyone looking for comfort, warmth, and a real taste of Sri Lankan hospitality.

The location was superb

Everything was as expected

The mountain setting is absolutely stunning, you’re surrounded by clouds, trees and tea plantations. The villa is spacious and comfortable, great bathroom and has all facilities needed. The pool was an amazing bonus and the grounds are pretty to walk around and chill out in. The manager was in constant touch via WhatsApp and very friendly and helpful in organising food and drinks, transport and a rainforest tour for very reasonable rates. It was such a relaxing and special stay.

Not negatives as such, but just be aware that there isn’t much nearby in terms of restaurants, bars etc, it would have been nice to have a little more variety and interest in the food on offer at the hotel therefore. And you are close to nature meaning you’ll hear critters scratching around at night and maybe in the room.

Good location for a short stay, approximately 11 km from the Pitadeniya Sinharaja Forest entrance. Small pool to enjoy after a walk in the forest.

They are very nice people with kind heart.You will get almost everything in one place.very clean room and very calm atmosphere.

Beautiful place surrounded by the nature. Very nice hosts. Even if there are stairs. They will help you with the luggages. Small critique: the rooms could have been a tiny bit more clean. But thinking of where we were and the standard in Sri Lanka it was very good. I would definitely recommend the place and I would come back!

We loved this place! The views were amazing and the atmosphere was peaceful and calming. We visited the Sinharaja Forest Reserve during our stay and our host did an amazing job by organizing the whole trip there, he made everything really easy for us. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone who wants a little getaway from the busy coastline and loves nature.

The view was exceptional

Amazing views and very friendly staff. We only stayed one night to visit Sinharaja rain forest and it was nice enough. The onsite dining and breakfast were a nice and convenient touch. Comfortable bed and nice interior :)

Our cabin could’ve done with some airing out as it was quite musty smelling. The leaking shower needed fixing as you could hear dripping throughout the night. The pool could also use some new water or some chemicals to clear it.

We initially skipped this option when booking the holiday. Mainly because it was new and did not have so many reviews. Later we had a bad experience at vini villas, and had to quickly find something else. We went to Aadiv Twin Villas and were amazed by the location! A beautiful view towards a valley, still close enough to Sinharaja to do a tour there and since the other villa was not booked we basically had the place to ourselves. Very nice pool, very friendly staff and the food as also good. Especially the breakfast, those were the best pol rotis of the whole vacation. If a low amount of reviews is giving you doubts (as it did with us originally) then set those doubts aside! It is a great location and a great experience overall!

Nothing really. Perhaps the staircase is a bit difficult to navigate, especially in the dark. But not impossible. And sleeping at the top level is really cosy and worth it. I can imagine that the experience is a little less relaxing and private if the other villa is also rented out, and maybe rented to, say, a noisy family. To be fair, we were lucky to be the only ones there at the time.

The view is absolutely breathtaking. The place is so peaceful and the team is so friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is large, like a luxury hotel suite. I adored my stay. I was asked to choose what I wanted for breakfast (from a list of options) and it was huge and delicious. The villas are about 30 mins in a Tuktuk from the entrance to the rainforest that I needed for the full day trek but I think more than worth it to have the mountain views that you wouldn't have if you were by the entrance of the rainforest. I didn't use the pool but it was great to have the option.

Amazing view from the property and really nice and spacious rooms. The rooms were really clean and the air conditioning worked well. The hosts at the hotel were all really friendly and helpful. There was a pool with a really nice view as well. The food at the restaurant was decent and made fresh which was a nice bonus.

Just nitpicking here since there are not a lot of negatives but if I have to write something: - the food was fresh but it took about 1.5 hours to prepare. It would have been good to know this before hand - I don’t remember reading there were stairs to go up to the property. Wasn’t a problem for us but might be for someone with mobility problems.

Nothing we didn’t like

The villa was beautifully designed, clean and comfortable, offering the perfect setting for relaxation. Nestled amidst tea estates, the location was both tranquil and rejuvenating. Situated between the Pitadeniya and Kurulugala entrances of the Sinharaja Forest Reserve. We absolutely loved the food. The staff’s warm hospitality and attentiveness truly elevated our experience, making it a stay to remember.

During our three unforgettable weeks in Sri Lanka, this was undoubtedly THE best place we stayed. Everything about it was flawless, but what made it truly stand out was the magical setting. Nestled amidst lush greenery, the villa offers an unparalleled connection to nature – you genuinely feel like you’re immersed in the rainforest, which isn’t surprising given that the stunning Sinharaja Forest Reserve is just moments away. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Whether you’re lounging by the serene pool or relaxing on your private balcony, the vistas are like nothing I’ve experienced before – vibrant, tranquil, and endlessly captivating. The villa itself is equally impressive, with a warm wooden chalet vibe. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities you’d need, including a fridge, plenty of sockets, and cosy furnishings. It felt like a luxurious home away from home. The attention to detail here was exceptional. Having stayed in several five-star hotels, I can confidently say this villa meets, if not exceeds, that standard. The staff deserve special mention – they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. They arranged everything for us, from TukTuks to local tours, and even went above and beyond to make my 30th birthday celebration extra special, complete with personalised touches. The pool was another highlight – beautifully maintained, it was the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring. And the food? Simply sublime. Dining in their charming greenhouse-style restaurant, surrounded by the garden’s lush greenery, was an experience in itself. Each meal was a delight, made even better by the panoramic views. In short, everything about this place was exceptional. If you’re looking for a blend of luxury, nature, and outstanding hospitality, this is it. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
