Singwe Private Safari Lodge Kruger

The location is just 20 minutes from the nearest gate to the park and there are a lot of animals in the surrounding area which is nice. The owner is very kind and the breakfast was very good.

There are things you want to consider before you come: 1. The room is very small. 2. The toilet and the shower are all in the same room with the bed (no door separates them).

We booked the private villa and the experience was priceless. If you are looking to be submerged in nature and for an authentic safari experience, this is the place to go. The kudu, warthogs, zebras, waterbuck, mongoose, giraffe etc. roam on your doorstep. If you are wanting a perfect city hotel, this one is not for you. The host organised game spotting safaris, walking educational tours in the park and a traditional Braai, all of which were outstanding.

Although there is a store 1.7k down the road it would be a nice touch to have shampoo, body wash, coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper, toilet paper, milk…. Start up kit.

Das Personal ist sehr nett, spontan und hilfsbereit! Nächstes Gate des Kruger Nationalparks innerhalb von 15 min zu erreichen.

Leider hatten wir eine defekte Duscharmatur, weshalb wir nur kalt duschen konnten.

Wunderschönes Haus in ruhiger Lage direkt in der Natur. Edwin war als Gastgeber immer ansprechbar und sehr freundlich. Die Tiere sind bis ans Grundstück gekommen, was toll war!

L’accueil de notre hôte a été très agréable. Le propriétaire a été très serviable et nous a même prêté un chargeur de batterie que nous avions oublié.

The property is perfect but marloth park is not very good.

Very tranquil space , not far from the main road , in Marloth Park Host , Edwin, was amazing, helped to plan a surprise for my partner who was turning 50yrs. The housekeeping was excellent , breakfast served on requested times , cozy and homely. Place offered a very private space. There was a power failure but Edwin made sure that as guest we do not get affected by this. Got generator running and communicated to us timeously. Great hosting etiquette.

I wished that the room was a bit bigger, but it is probably just my own personal choices. Everything in the room was workable.

Friendly host

Tiny room, no bathroom door. Toilet is basically right next to bed. No suitcase holder. No breakfast options (no fruit, no yogurt, cereals, no butter...). Overpriced for the area. Place needs thoughtfulness and love.

We had a great time staying at Singwe! Edwin and his colleagues were very welcoming and Edwin went above and beyond to help when we had issues with our rental car. Thank you once again!

This was my second stay at Singwe, and honestly, there’s nothing not to love about the property. The staff are incredibly accommodating, friendly, and professional, and the lodge itself is clean, beautiful, and extremely comfortable. Having animals wander right up to the swimming pool while you relax, and enjoying the bonfire under the stars at night, is truly special. It’s the perfect escape for bush lovers wanting to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life and soak in the peace and beauty of nature. The property has also had a few upgrades since our last visit, making everything feel even more luxurious and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. I will definitely be back!

Loved absolutely everything

Highly recommend this Wonderful place! Fantastic property, lodgings, spaces, furniture, paintings, ambiance and house, located in the heart of Marloth Park. Edwin was/is the heart of the property,his attention to detail, customer care & support, warmth and welcoming was the best.

For someone coming from the highveld, the weather was too hot for me. But thank God for the Air conditioning.

I’ve stayed in plenty of boutique and hotel-style accommodations in Marloth Park, and Singwe Lodge is by far the most superior experience I’ve had. The private rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need. The shared social spaces are just as impressive — from the pool area to the library room, all offering absolutely stunning private parkland views that make you feel immersed in nature while still enjoying a refined, modern setting. The furniture and finishes are contemporary yet warm, perfectly suited to the bush environment. What truly sets Singwe apart, though, is the staff — incredibly respectful, genuinely friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay special. I also really appreciated the lodge’s strong respect for nature and conservation. There is a clear emphasis on quiet, mindful living and respectful behaviour, not only towards other guests but, more importantly, towards the surrounding wildlife and natural environment. That balance between comfort and conservation is something that truly elevates the experience. I love the boutique setup and the flexibility it offers, including the option to enjoy breakfast or opt out depending on your plans. It’s the kind of place that feels both luxurious and relaxed. I will definitely be back, and next time I plan to book out the entire manor with friends so we can fully enjoy the self-catering options and flexibility together. A truly exceptional stay.

Beautiful and quiet location with wildlife coming right up to your door. The breakfast was nice and there is two braai areas for you to cook your own food during the evenings. Couldn’t have asked for a better host, Edwin is lovely and really made sure we had everything. It was a real pleasure sharing Braai and beer with him If you’re looking for a homely spot to stay during your visit to Kruger I can’t recommend this place enough.

Die einmalige Lage im Marloth Park - mitten in der Natur und doch ganz nah am Kruger Nationalpark.

Стилистика дома - натуральные материалы, высокие своды соломенной крыши, чистота до скрипа, большой ресепшен, отличная кожаная мебель, тв. Очень уютно и атмосферно! Большой бассейн и зоны барбекю. Животные приходят прямо на территорию. Всего 3 или 4 номера. Они великолепны! Все стильно и очень чисто. Великолепный завтрак. Но самое подкупающее - хозяин Эдвин. Он само радушие и гостеприимство. Много советов, рассказов. Трогательно, когда он сам накрывал нам завтрак, умело приготовленный его помошницей. Самые теплые впечатления от места.

It was amazing! Very cozy and spacious Lodge with all amenities. Thank you very much to Edwin and Catherine. They were very cute and caring and made our stay unforgettable. Edwin helped to organize Safari. We made meat on mangale tonight. And in the morning we celebrated my wife's birthday, Edwin and Catherine congratulated us and treated the branded sparkling wine. It was the best vacation, we will all recommend this wonderful place! Thanks!

Absolutely nothing after loosing my phone

I left my phone inside the room and went to get breakfast at a restaurant close by. It's unfortunate that I came back and couldn't find my phone and all they say is that they didn't see the phone but someone entered the room while I was away because I came back and there were signs of someone having entered. The cleaners came and cleaned while my phone was there but when I got back I couldn't find the phone I had left inside the room

Sehr persönlich. Kleine familiäre Unterkunft mit Blick in die Wildnis und sehr geschmackvollem Ambiente. Nette Gesellschaft und angenehme Atmosphäre. Rein ist der perfekte Gastgeber und seine Abendessen in gemütlicher Runde haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Danke auch fürs organisieren der Abendtour mit Lindai und der Safari mit James. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Everything!!! An unforgettable holiday it was! Edwin the host and owner of the Lodge was at my service ensuring that I get the best experience there is in Marloth Park/Kruger National Park. The place was spotlessly clean, thats is tastefully decorated. Animals walk around the property, the site was very serene and tranquil. Edwin assisted with booking transportation to and from the airport, he booked 3 of my game drives, and even cooked a traditional Braii. he drove me in town to get cash at the atm and shared his soothing ointment for my leg pain. Staying at Singwe was the best stay I ever had. I even get to enjoy the pool on my last day. Also thanks to Catherine, his assistant for always making my room nice and tidy and for doing my laundry! The property, the host and his assistant and the experiences I get at this place is top notch! Thank you!!!

That its too far away from US., I wish I could visit it anytime I want..

The property was in good condition, clean, and great location.

The caretaker, Edwin, was not friendly. He walked in and out of our private space throughout our entire stay, and was very hostile. He made our stay miserable, which could have been lovely.

Personeel stond ons op te wachten met de grootste glimlach. Heel lieve mevrouw maar was wel erg verlegen maar het sierde haar haha. Enkele minuten later kwam ook de eigenaar ons hartelijk verwelkomen en een woordje uitleg geven. Omdat we vroeg in de ochtend moesten vertrekken naar de volgende locatie konden wij niet mee ontbijten. ..... MAAAR ze waren zo lief dat ze een pakketje hebben gemaakt om mee te nemen onderweg :) super toch!! .... ik vond de gezamenlijke living FANTASTISCH mooi. Ik ben erg jaloers op de lederen sofas in het hoekje van de living tegen het raam. Zo mooi! ... ook de grote tafel op het terras zag er heel gezellig uit en de tafel zelf heel origineel gedaan met alle verschillende houtsoorten. De kleine details doen veel :) .... wij zijn s avonds/ s nachts toch nog even opzoek gegaan in de tuin/bos naar de kleine bushbaby maar jammer genoeg was hij/zij er niet. ... kamer zelf was tiptop inorde :)

2 puntjes: - zwembad: de stofzuiger voor het zwembad lag nog in het zwembad, ook s avond en de dag nadien lag deze er nog steeds in. Beetje jammer anders had ik op de warme dag als toen even willen afkoelen. Is het kapot of vergeten?? - badkamer op kamer: zeker en vast zeer schoon. Alleen het toilet vond ik zeer vreemd dat dit half open was. Beetje gênant als je met vrienden op reis bent als man en vrouw. Is beetje prive moment. Ook de douche heel schoon maar bij de douch staat een raam en we hebben gemerkt dat je van buiten op het terras alles kan zien als iemand staat te douchen. Misschien een verduisterfolie op de helft van het raam plakken??

Peaceful place to detach from the noisy environment we live in. Upon arrival we were expected and there were no check in hustles. Welcomed by wildlife we made our way to our clean room. The place is recommended for a quiet stay. The owner was very helpful and we felt like home away from home. During breakfast we were always visited by the wild animals. I would recommend this place to anyone who respects nature and wants to have a very peaceful stay. Once again thank you Singwe.

Everything looked amazing the problem is the owner controlling us like we are kids.

Our stay at this lodge was deeply disappointing. One of the most bizarre and unsettling aspects was being forced to go to bed early by the owner, who even threatened to call security on us. We were simply sitting in the living room, quietly talking no music, no disturbance. As paying guests, we expected the freedom to enjoy our evening respectfully. Instead, we were treated like children in a boarding school. At no point during booking or check-in were we informed of any curfews or strict house rules. The owner’s behavior was abrupt, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. What was supposed to be a peaceful getaway felt more like being monitored in a detention center. We would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable or respectful guest experience.

Exceptionally friendly staff, stunning and luxurious finishes, and impeccable attention to detail. Each room is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully equipped with a bar fridge and coffee station. The swimming pool is ideal for warmer days, while the spacious boma area is perfect for friends and family to enjoy a braai surrounded by the serene bushveld. It’s magical to see buck grazing right by the pool’s edge. In the evening, we were warmly greeted by bush babies under the lapa and the sounds of nature —a truly enchanting gem in the heart of the bush.
