Absolutely charming villa in the old town of Norrtälje, much bigger and roomier than it looks on the outside or in the pictures. Back garden is very private & excellent to have your breakfast in if the weather is nice. Just about a perfect place to explore Norrtälje for a group of about 4-6 people.

Access is only through a couple of narrow staircases from the street below, which are pretty steep and in places uneven; this is not a place for anyone with impaired mobility. I don't know if there's any free parking nearby, definitely not on the narrow cobbled streets around, we parked on the paid parking in the 2-hour parking lot in the same block which happened to be free since it was luckily a sunday. Others said that the place was a bit cluttered with stuff but I didn't find that a problem at all as I know how Swedish villas and summer houses are, it's a part of the experience :)

Fin stuga som har allt man behöver. Ypperligt läge.

Det är lyhört, ish om man sover på övervåningen. Mkt ljust på övervåningen. Öronproppar och ögonmask rekomenderas.

Availability near to the ferry at Kapellskar. It is in the centre of the town so all amenities available. Good restaurants and supermarket short walk away. Very friendly people. Interesting summer house, very quirky and lots of room and good facilities. Secure parking for our motorcycles was great.

It was difficult to find using the address and Google. We did phone the host who was very quick to come find us and show us how to reach the house, behind the shops.

Die Lage war ausgezeichnet und die Unterkunft typisch schwedisch. Für mich als Halbschwede habe ich mich an meine Kindheit und Jugend nostalgisch zurückerinnert, die ich damals in Norrtälje mit meiner Mutter verbracht habe.

Der Aussenbereich war leider noch nicht so gepflegt um dort zu verweilen.

Läget ! Mysig inredning. Välutrustat kök. Vi kunde parkera våra motorcyklar i gränden nedanför huset. Grannarna var välkomnande och trevliga.

Dörren till ett av sovrummen gick ej att stänga då dörren slog i sängen. Inget vi brydde oss om men om man vill stänga om sej kanske det borde åtgärdas.

My messages with arrival time went without response. so first contact were when I called to the owner standing near apartment. after a call + all easy. It looks like someone always live there and just for the rental time went out.

Läget var bra. Rymligt hus. Lugnt o tyst.

Jättefint hus, perfekt läge

Vi bodde en helg och trivdes väldigt bra i det lilla huset. Läget var utmärkt med gott om mysiga restauranger i närheten och fina promenadstråk. Huset ligger på en höjd, vilket kan vara bra att veta om man har problem med att gå i trappor. För oss funkade allt perfekt!

Fel adress stod i annonsen. Vi letade i en timme och fick inte kontakt med värden. Vi fick ingen information om inloggning till wifi.

Zentrale Lage in der schönen Altstadt, geschmackvolle Einrichtung mit allem was man braucht

Mer centralt finns inte och nära till dom vi besöker. Huset har enorm charm på alla sätt och vis. Värden är trevlig och tillmötesgående. Vi har hyrt villan tidigare och kommer troligen att hyra den igen.

Det är mögel i badrummet och porslinet där har sett sina bästa dagar.

Super location, gorgeous cat outside, fab ramen next door and everything necessary in a walking distance..

Mycket prisvärt, bra centralt läge, fin stuga precis i stan. Nära till promenad, nöjen och sevärdheter. Värden ordnade så att vi kunde checka in tidigare, något som är mycket värdefullt på resan. I huset finns allt man kan behöva. Sällskapet önskade att vi stannat längre, vilket är mkt bra betyg.

Beautiful house in central Norrtälje. Perfect place to stay. Cosy and very clean. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Small thing - the mezzanine floor windows had no blinds so it got light very early for those sleeping upstairs!

Very helpful host

I have stayed at the villa multiple times. It is close to the restaurant district, yet quiet. The house is airy and light-filled.

This isn't an issue for me, but anyone with mobility issues should be aware that there are quite steep steps to the property. If you don't have mobility issues, then the pay off for the steep steps is the nice location of the house.

Have stayed here many times. Great neighbourhood, near the restaurants, shops and harbour. Comfortable house.

Proximity to the lovely town and restaurants! It was also nice and quiet.

Close to city center. Beautiful building with beams and woodwork. Has a lot of potential.

Very rustic. Lots of knick knacks and too many old stuffed chairs. Needed professional cleaning and grooming. We swept, wiped down cupboards, surfaces and made our beds with old sheets too small for beds. Shower head needs replacing. Grass needs cutting. Thinking we may be first renters for the season. We left it cleaner than we found it.

Great central location in the restaurant district and near the park, the harbour and nice places to walk. Despite being central, it's very quiet, with friendly neighbours. Cosy, comfortable atmosphere, lovely open plan kitchen, dining, lounging area.

You have to be resourceful to find house. There is no number.

The villa is self-catering so it was easy to prepare meals. There are food shops close by, and plenty of restaurants. The villa is cosy, with a wraparound garden, outdoor terrace and is 5 minutes from the harbour and nice walking areas. It isn't necessary to have a car to stay here, as it's a walk of a few minutes from the bus station. The host is friendly and helpful.

The property is perfectly located in the old town, on the riverbank.

The location was great - heart of the restaurant and shopping district,close to the trendy harbour. Easy walk to bus station. The house is beautiful. Potential to sleep many, and plenty of space for everyone to eat and socialise together inside and out, although only one bathroom means there would be queues at times. A small price, I think, for the location and facilities. Despite being so central, it was quiet at night.

There are quite steep stone steps up to the property so it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. As is standard in the town centre, there isn't a dedicated parking space for the house, but there is paid public parking.
