Reviewed Apr 7, 2026Nice quiet location, put a lot of thought into the set up, was well appointed with cooking equipment. A good place to stay halfway between Wanaka and Queenstown with plenty of amenities handy to the accommodation.
The bed was a little on the hard side for me, and we had trouble getting the air con to blow warm air as the first night was bitterly cold. A extra shelf in the bathroom would be good too.

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026Modern, well equipped kitchen with an oven and hob and microwave, the heat pump for A/C or heating is simple and convenient. The bathroom is well sized and the shower has great water pressure. It’s less than a 10min walk to the town centre so great for eating out options.
Only minor thing is the sofa bed was on the firm side, doubling over the quilt under the bottom sheet helped, if a couple were to use it a couple of extra blankets under the sheet would improve it. Far from a deal breaker and was fine for the three nights I stayed, plenty of extra bedding is provided so you can tailor it to your taste.

Reviewed Mar 29, 2026Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war super. Es hat an nichts gefehlt die Wohnung ist modern und liebevoll eingerichtet. Auch die Lage ist perfekt. Die Kommunikation mit Justine war prima, auch wenn wir sie leider nicht persönlich kennen gelernt haben.

Reviewed Mar 2, 2026The apartment was perfect! It was comfortable, clean, quiet, and close to restaurants, shops, and grocery stores, all within walking distance. Parking was easy, right in front of the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook a decent meal. There is a washer/dryer to wash your clothes. We would definitely stay there again!

Leider wie fast bisher überall auf unserer Neuseelandreise die viel zu weichen Betten. Ist in NZ anscheinend normal, dass die Matratzen extrem weich sind, daher auch nicht wirklich zu bemängeln, obwohl der Schlafkomfort erheblich leidet.

The bathroom being off the bedroom was definitely an issue. There were 2 of us and not sharing the bedroom, so having to go through the bed to the bathroom in the middle of the night was an issue, and the same when wanting friends over. Had I realized the situation, I would not have booked this flat.

Couldn't ask for any more, modern, spotlessly clean, all sorts of little things in the cupboards lounge salt, pepper, cooking oil, caffetire - you name it! And to top it all off proper high speed wi-fi. 10/10.

Great location, an easy stroll into the township. Washer and dryer in a unit this size was a bonus. Great communication from the host with clear instructions.

The couch that doubles as a bed is uncomfortable to sit on as sofa beds usually are.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2024Lovely modern and clean ground floor apartment with everything you could need for a few days away. Access couldn't be easier, private entry and small courtyard off the living area to sit out and enjoy the sun. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and the living and kitchen area were well appointed with cooking facilities and a few thoughtful extras like books and magazines. Located on a quiet street close to the town shopping centre and sports facilities, Cosy Coudret is the perfect spot to stay. Didn't meet the hosts but communication was nice and friendly. Can't wait to visit again.
