Good value for money and a comfortable place to spend time between activities in Taman Negara. Rose is very friendly and willing to drive and pick up guests as the location is a little far from the jetty.

A hairdryer and bedsheets would have been nice, but for basic accommodation at a cheap price we were fine to go without.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Rose the owner is a very organized and pragmatic manager, she made our stay very easy by helping us with all the excursions.

Si è offerta di accompagnarci e venirci a prendere a qualsiasi orario, ci ha guidato sui posti migliori dove mangiare e fare colazione e ci ha aiutato persino con il cambio soldi. Inoltre, si è occupata sia dell'organizzazione delle escursioni sia del transfer per Kuala Lumpur. ​Un punto di riferimento fantastico che ha reso il nostro viaggio a Taman Negara perfetto.

It is pretty convenient for all the activities in the area and the owner is extremely helpful in booking activities and taking you around.

It is really really basic in terms of comfort and services, but everything works for a couple of nights. Air conditioning broke the first night.

Rose ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, die Hol - & Bringservice auf Grund der Lage mit inkludiert. Man kann die Ausflüge direkt bei ihr buchen. Sie bringt einen auch dorthin und holt einen wieder ab. Die gibt tolle Restaurantempfehlungen. Die Unterkunft liegt am Rande & für Aktive sehr zu empfehlen, wer nur in der Unterkunft bleiben möchte, dann lieber etwas anderes suchen. Hier stimmt Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

The pipe water flow was slow

La camera è semplice, ma è davvero pulitissima, accogliente e dotata di tutto il necessario (aria condizionata sopratutto, ma anche il bollitore).È poco fuori dal centro abitato (il che rappresenta anche un valore aggiunto, si è nella natura), ma la proprietaria si offre di accompagnare ed andare a prendere gli ospiti. Il vero valore aggiunto è proprio Rose, sempre disponibile e sorridente. Si possono prenotare le escursioni anche direttamente con lei (purtroppo l'ho saputo dopo aver già prenotato).

The room was basic but clean and had everything we needed. There's also a fridge with drinks and quick soups just outside. Rose is a great host, she organized everything for us and drove us around whenever we wanted.

I'd advise to arrange the pick up from the bus station before you arrive in kuala tahan. When we got there, there was no signal in the whole village for 2 hours and there are no taxis. As we learned later, this can happen once a week and it is too far to walk in the heat...

Die Unterkunft ist super schön und idyllisch gelegen und hat draußen eine Terrasse, auf der man sich entspannen und super seine Sachen trocknen kann Die Gastgeberin ist super entspannt und freundlich und bietet einen kostenlosen Shuttle in die Stadt an, den man jederzeit nutzen kann. Sie gab uns auch super Tipps für die Reise.

Einziger Minuspunkt, der aber auch schnell behoben werden kann, ist der Geruch, der aus der Toilette kommt

The host was super helpful. She helped us arrange a bird guide and was always able to take us and collect us from wherever we wanted to go. The location, away from the town and closer to nature.

The location does mean that you're reliant on the host driving you around, or walking 20 minutes to the centre.

Bona predisposició de la Rose per portar-te al poble i recollir-te desprès ja que l'allotjament està una mica lluny i no hi ha servei de Grab ni taxi ni bus.

Intentarà vendre't el paquet "obligatori" per visitar el parc. Heu de saber que ho podeu fer tot pel vostre compte, fàcil i molt més barat. L'únic que heu de tenir en compte és estar aviat a la taquilla de venda del pase per fer el canopy ja que hi ha un cupo d'entrades diari. D'altra banda no hi ha servei de menjars ni cuina, per tant has d'anar sí o sí al poble.

Uns hat die sehr freundliche und offene Art der Vermieterin gefallen. Sie war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns nützliche Tipps gegeben. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb des Dorfes. Die Vermieterin hat jedoch einen tadellos funktionierenden Zubringerdienst zum Dorf geboten. Mit dem Fahrdienst haben wir die Lage als Vorteil empfunden, da wir so etwas abseits des touristischen Geschehens waren. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich zu empfehlen.

Sehr nette Gastgeberin, die auf Sauberkeit schaut und um das Wohl des Gastes schaut. Netter überdachter Platz im Garten und Tiere. Rose die Gastgeberin fährt eienem jederzeit zu dem 1.3km entfernten Ort. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Exceptional Stay – A True Gem Near Taman Negara We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Ginger Guest Room and would recommend it to anyone visiting Taman Negara. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. Rose is one of the kindest and most accommodating hosts we have ever met. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she always went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Although the guesthouse is a little outside the village, this actually turned out to be an advantage. It is peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, yet getting into town was never an issue because Rose happily drove us there and picked us up whenever needed. That level of hospitality really made our stay effortless. She also helped us organize our jungle activities, gave us excellent recommendations, and shared lots of local knowledge. It felt much more personal than staying in a hotel. The room itself was simple but spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great night’s sleep after long days exploring the rainforest. Considering the price, the value for money is outstanding. What truly sets this place apart is the warmth and generosity of the host. Rose made us feel more like guests in her home than customers. If we ever return to Taman Negara, we wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else. A sensational experience from start to finish, easily one of the highlights of our trip. Highly, highly recommended!

Le bruit des coqs le matin. Sinon c’est plutôt sommaire mais je pense que ça s’accompagne bien avec l’expérience de Teman Negara.

La stanza pulitissima e la gentilezza della proprietaria Rose che ci accompagnava sempre in macchina quindi la distanza non è un problema :) Il condizionatore e il Wi-Fi funzionano bene.

I galli che la mattina ti svegliano presto però per alcuni può essere visto come un plus per il contatto con la natura.

Room was clean. A/C and hot shower good. The best part by a long way was how friendly, helping and accommodating Rose was in providing transport whenever needed for any reason.

The owner was lovely, she was driving us everywhere, helped us with excursions, that was wonderful stay, highly recommended

We booked a triple room with two separate beds, as we are two men. We arrived at the accommodation at 4 PM, and the owner gave us a double room with one large double bed, saying that it was enough for us since we are two men. After we firmly disagreed, she told us to come back in 30 minutes and that she would clean the triple room. After checking into the triple room, we discovered that the double bed had only one shared blanket, and the second bed had no blanket at all. When we asked for an additional blanket, the owner told us that since we are two, it was sufficient. The air conditioning was extremely noisy, so we were unable to use it during the night. A person staying in the countryside doesn’t expect a hotel, but at least basic functional facilities — which this accommodation does not provide.

La camera era accogliente e con tutto il necessario, bagno limitato ma fornito di tutto. Tralasciando la struttura in sé, la differenza l’ha fatta la proprietaria Rose con la sua gentilezza e disponibilità, pronta ad aiutare e sempre pronta.

The room was perfect for me and my friend! Our host was incredibly kind and helpful. She assisted us with booking tours, drove us to and from the city whenever needed, and helped us plan the next steps of our trip in Malaysia, which was extremely helpful. We can highly recommend staying at this accommodation!

The host was truly amazing. She made us feel at home and took care of everything for us so we did not have to worry about anything. She organized the tours and transfers for us, she even brought us to nice breakfast and dinner places. We highly recommend this place to anyone that is travelling to Taman Negara.

La proprietaria di casa sicuramente il punto forte di questa struttura, gentilissima e sempre disponibile a darci un passaggio o venirci a prendere! Camera pulita con aria condizionata, davvero essenziale date le temperature di quella parte di malesia.

Bagno cieco con doccia non separata, Lavandino non in bagno ma in camera. Un po' piccolina e poco schermata per la luce mattutina,ma comunque essenziale per un viaggiatore.

La stanza è pulita. Il valore aggiunto del posto è la signora Rose che assiste in modo eccellente nella prenotazione delle escursioni ed è sempre disponibile a portare gli ospiti ai floating restaurant e alla partenza delle gite.

La struttura è modesta e bisogna un po’ adattarsi, ma considerando il luogo in cui ci si trova, va più che bene.

Die unfassbar freundliche Gastgeberin. Da das Guesthouse einen guten Kilometer entfernt von Ortszentrum liegt, hat uns die Gastgeberfamilie zu jeder Zeit dort hingefahren und auch abgeholt. Wir würden wieder dort übernachten.

In einem unserer beiden Bungalows roch es im Bad nicht so gut aus dem Abfluss. Das lag aber nicht daran, dass es nicht sauber gewesen wäre.

Le logement est très joliment situé en pleine campagne, à 2-3 minutes en voiture du petit hameau. Confortable quoiqu'un peu petit. La propriétaire est très aimable, elle nous a organisé les activités que nous voulions faire et nous a amené au village avec sa voiture, elle est également venue nous chercher. Un service de première catégorie.

Une mauvaise odeur provenant ces canalisations dans la salle de bain. En fermant la porte de celle-ci cela était acceptable.

De verschrikkelijke geur die we op een van onze kamers uit de riolering roken. We vertrokken daarom de volgende ochtend heel vroeg. De andere kamer hadden onze kids er geen last van gelukkig. Maar erg penetrant. Eigenaar heeft proberen op te lossen, maar ja zoiets zit natuurlijk veel dieper dan oppervlakkig reinigen.

Rose es súper amable y te trae y te lleva cada vez que lo necesitas. El alojamiento es muy sencillo, lo que te puedes esperar aquí , pero está muy limpio y Rose te pone agua, café e infusiones.

Creo que sería más cómodo estar en el centro porque aunque es cerca no hay arcén o acera y pasan mucho coches. A veces hubiéramos salido en algún momento pero no queríamos estar todo el tiempo molestando a Rose.

Il bagno non era troppo pulito, c’era qualche animale morto e ragnatele. La stanza e le coperte invece erano pulite.

Struttura ok, considerando che si é nella foresta. Presente condizionatore (senza é impossibile stare). Struttura leggermente fuori da Kuala Tehan ma la proprietaria Rose si rende disponiibile ad accompagnarvi al paese quando volete. Direi che Rose é stato il plus della struttura.

Il bagno buio e senza finestra (né ventola), inoltre la doccia era aperta e dopo ogni lavaggio il bagno si allagava. Comunque anche il bagno era pulito!

Ginger Guest House was perfect for our stay. The owner Kak Rose is lovely and helpful. She gave us lifts to the town centre although that is just a short walk away. On one occasion, we were wet from river swimming but she insisted on giving us a lift anyway. It was the small gestures that demonstrated her kindness and care for her guests. I asked her where in the town could I buy keropok lekor and a few hours later, I was presented with a small packet of the keropok - which was totally unexpected and speaks of sincere hospitality. I would highly recommend this Guest House as the people are kind and hospitable.

The place was really nice and close to the village (Kuala Tahan). What made our stay amazing was the host Rose. She helped us organise all the activities and she always drove us from and to the village whenever we needed (2 mins by car, but quite difficult on foot as it is very hot during the day). Rose also helped us organise our trip to the next destination. She is one of the best hosts we met, and we are already planning to come back to do the cave activity in the jungle! 😀 Thank you Rose!

Rose is lovely. She sorted out our park permits and booked trips for us. She took us to the floating restaurant and picked us up after the night tour. She took great care to try and protect us from mosquitoes and made us most welcome.

This is a little way out of town which we knew. Rose the host is incredibly generous with her time and happily shuttles you backwards and forwards to town which was much appreciated. It is very quiet which we liked and could just sit on porch and listen to birds. If you like nightlife perhaps better off in town.Room was very clean and exactly as shown in picture

The hostess is a real treasure and does everything to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. She also arranged great tours in the national park. The room was simple but very clean and equipped with everything you need. The somewhat secluded location is great if you're looking for some peace and quiet and it's not a problem as you can always get a ride into town if you ask. We really enjoyed our stay!

Rose was amazing!! She provided us with absolutely everything we needed, organised all of our tours and also took the time to drive us down to our tour and pick us up. She’s completely lovely. The room was very clean, in a nice quiet location and had great air conditioning. I know rose has only recently started so she doesn’t have many reviews yet but my boyfriend and I absolutely loved it here and couldn’t recommend it enough. She gave us great restaurant recommendations and helped us with everything we needed. Sending love to rose and would definitely stay here again :)
