Despite calling their telephone number several times during the day , leaving 3 messages. Opting for their emergency number , not once where the calls picked up, only saying they where shut . No voice messages returned . Automated rubbish systems

The Wasp nest outside our Lodge, I do not like wasps and pretty terrified myself or our dogs were going to get stung. Obviously, we could not open the window because of this

Situated in a quiet location, with excellent breakfast and dining options. Very helpful and pleasant staff.

It wasn’t made clear that food service wasn’t available to all guests on Sunday evening which was a disappointment. Offered Pizza when other guests had full menu options making us feel unappreciated and let down. A sheet only would be helpful for bed when lodge too hot for duvet.

Couldnt get food there at 7:30pm as it was quiz night on Sunday night wasn't made aware no food available and there's not a place close by to get food. Would've liked insect shutters if we open the windows to stop bugs getting in, lodge was hot and stuffy but it was a hot day.

All of the food was very good. Beds were comfortable. Great bedroom and bathroom, all quite luxurious. Dog friendly.

The lodge was a great size for the two of us, with a small kitchen area and good size shower. Lodges have their own private hot tubs which are also a good size, clean and in a great location (right next to your lodge). The pub on site is exceptional, the food is incredible and the staff are helpful and friendly. We intended to eat one meal there and ended up having dinner twice and breakfast!

The weather was exceptionally hot during our stay but the Lodge was really well located and a Fan was provided to try and keep us cool. The staff were brilliant and the food, including the Breakfasts was exceptional. The information pack provided was the best we have ever come across and provided a wealth of places to see. We will definitely be going back here and we highly recommend them.

Great breakfast. Brilliantly helpful staff with our large group. Great food, both from the full menu & bar snack menu. Lovely pub & courtyard garden. Beautiful rural location. Lodges were private & very separate so you felt alone, had you wanted some peace & quiet.

The lodges were very hot in the heatwave & the fans were not effective unless you were 6 inches away from them. This was despite excellent blackout blinds. Luckily we took our own fan. The sofa bed in Radnor was pretty uncomfortable for one person & wouldn’t have been possible for 2 normal height people.

Very comfortable bed, wonderful shower and beautifully decorated. Peace and quiet and a lovely night of sleep.

We had a really lovely stay - the lodge was very private, clean and the facilities were excellent. The rooms were large for two people (unlike some log style cabins which are very tight) and it had all the equipment for a stay longer than one night.

The evening meals were fantastic, the staff really helpful, cheerful and engaging, with a great set of locals as well.

The location is lovely. The room was small but perfect. Food was amazing, so tasty. And Mark the one in charge is a perfect host.

Its location and the welcome. All the staff were fabulous. The food was an amazing standard prepared with care and presented beautifully. Great choice of beers was available too.

Nothing to dislike for us but anyone who wishes to stay within either of the 3 bedrooms in the pub needs to be able to climb exceptionally steep stairs.

the staff before arrival was very accommodating on my phone after mentioning that i was looking at having some Birthday decorations put up / if i needed to come up before hand - Molly was great xx added some extras without anything asked!

The pod we stayed in was really clean, modern and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was amazing and the staff who served us our lunch were friendly and give us everything we needed.

We had a latte for breakfast on our first morning, and the service was good and the waitress was friendly, but the following day another waitress said we don't do lattes, even though we'd already had one the day before. She then came over a little later with two lattes and said, "I was expecting more people, so I've had time to make them for you." I was surprised as we would have been prepared to wait a little longer if she were busy but she basically refused to make them. It did come across that the waitress wouldn't make these drinks if she was busier which I've never heard of before considering we were residents and had paid for our breakfast. It was our last day and we came for a nice breakfast to round off a good trip but this left us disappointed as we'd enjoyed our stay up until this moment. We decided to leave early as a result of the experience even though we had a later check-out and planned on staying a little longer before all of this. Other than this one moment with this waitress the other staff were exceptional and very attentive to our needs but one moment makes a lasting impression which is unfortunate.

Staff were awesome, food exceptional and very comfortable bed and large roomy bedroom and bathroom!

We didn’t realise that for stays over 1 night the housekeeping service did not come, we stayed 5 nights, we asked for the room to be serviced and they were happy to oblige, so it was dealt with successfully.

We stayed in one of the hot tub lodges that was very well appointed and comfortable. The restaurant was delicious and staff were incredibly lovely.

Visiting family close by so this was a good location. Friendly staff, lovely comfortable bedrooms. Travelled as two couples.

Booked for two nights with breakfast, Tuesday-Thursday. On our way Tuesday, received a telephone call from The Baiting House and was told the restaurant is closed Tuesday evening and closed for breakfast Wednesday, but breakfast will be available Thursday. We hadn’t intended to eat there Tuesday evening but was Very disappointed for the late notification advising breakfast was cancelled for Wednesday. Wednesday morning ready to leave the House to find somewhere to go for breakfast when my brother in law noticed a tray of orange juices, when asked a member of staff he was advised that breakfast is served and we are on the list!!

The lodge was exceptionally clean. The welcome food package was a really nice touch. Of course the location and the hot tub was ace

Very friendly pub with excellent rooms and lodges. The restaurant is exceptional although the menu is a little limiting. Great atmosphere both in the restaurant and the bar makes it feel very homely.

The place itself is beautiful

Staff do not reply to phone calls, or emails. Called 6 times and left messages and no one got back or could get hold of anyone. Still waiting for a reply from an email I sent after the stay and it’s been a week. Also messaged on there Facebook page and again… no reply!

Fab countryside location. Lovely pub and amazing food. Thank you for such a lovely time. Will stay again but with a hot tub!

Cutting costs seems to have gone a bit too far, no tissues, water, biscuits, very limited 1 hour for breakfast.... Noise from attached lodge next door.

This was our second stay at The Baiting House, and we loved it just as much as the first time! It’s the perfect place to completely switch off and relax. The lodges with hot tubs are beautifully equipped, super comfortable, and have everything you need for a cosy getaway. The location feels wonderfully peaceful and remote, yet it's only 20–30 minutes from plenty of great places to explore. The guest book in the lodge is full of brilliant recommendations too, which is really helpful. The on-site restaurant is absolutely fantastic—the food was incredible! I had the beef and my boyfriend had the lamb, and both dishes were exceptional. Breakfast was just as delicious. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and they really help make the stay feel special. We honestly can’t wait to come back again!

One small suggestion—adding a few board games in the lodge would be a lovely touch, especially given the peaceful, remote setting where you’re encouraged to slow down and unwind. Also, having an option to log into streaming services (Netflix, Disney) on the TV would be great for cosy nights in.

The pub and restaurant the food was really lovely. Unfortunately I didn't have time to try the jacuzzi but it was a nice touch. Welcome pack was a nice thought but a small pint of milk in the fridge would be an extra touch.

Unfortunately someone had allowed their dog to fowl near my lodge and left it there. We had small children running around. If your animals are welcome, be responsible.

What’s not to like?

Hot tub great. Room comfortable.

A few things were broken in the bathroom, flush on toilet and toilet roll holder and shower was not great.

The gentleman running the morning breakfast room was very happy friendly and efficient

The bed didn’t feel very sturdy.
