Ach, Beach House Merak. Vorig jaar voor het eerst geboekt en dit jaar speciaal onze reis wat aangepast om daar weer te mogen verblijven, zegt dat genoeg? Echt alles aan de woning is heerlijk, de open woon- en keukenruimte, de 3 slaapkamers die beneden zijn en allemaal net zo fris en licht ingericht, heerlijke douche De woning ligt op een vakantiepark, maar zeer rustig, en wat juist een veilig gevoel geeft. Het strand is waanzinnig, je loopt daar bijna helemaal alleen. Het dorp zelf is niet veel maar Mosselbay is in binnen een half uur bereikbaar. Verder hebben wij een mooie paardentocht gemaakt bij Botlierskop, game reserve, binnen 20 minuten auto afstand.

This is the best equiped house we have stayed at. The owners are very attentive and caring. We will be back! Fast internet, BBQ outside with sea view. Absolutely ticks all the boxes.

We loved everything about our stay, We had a fantastic weekend stay at this property with our family! The home was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for both relaxing and spending quality time together. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy to prepare meals. The location was peaceful. The host was responsive and welcoming, making sure everything was just right. We’d definitely come back again—highly recommended for a cozy family getaway!

Great views and very well maintained

Parking was a little tight

My parents and I spent a week here. We loved the location - a peaceful estate on the edge of a beautiful, long, sandy beach. So many places on the Garden Route to explore nearby. The house itself is spacious, comfortable, well-maintained and well-equipped, and has great views.

This cosy and spacious house is on an elevated part of the complex with amazing ocean views, including views of Mosselbay. We had various sightings of whales and dolphins from the balcony. The three bedrooms downstairs also have views of the ocean. The complex is access-controlled and quiet. The beach can be accessed directly from the complex. The house was clean and beautifully furnished with many extras, including fast, free WiFi, a solar system, DSTV Stream, a gas heater for the cold evenings when we were there, board games, a dishwasher, a fully equipped kitchen, a separate study should you need to do some work, comfortable beds with electric blankets, etc. The house is as per the photos on the website. We had a wonderful stay and will book this house again. Thank you, Danie and Lindie, 5 Stars!!

No dislikes, just a friendly suggestion : Basic provisions of coffee, tea, sugar and milk would have been nice, especially since we arrived late and had to make a hasty trip to the nearest shop to purchase these before closing time.

Beautiful views - could see dolphins riding the waves!

The Beach house is very bright, spacious, comfortable and clean! It is also well equipped and nicely furnished. The view is amazing by day and by night, and the beach is reachable within 3 mins. We were welcomed very warmly by the owners, and felt at home immeditately. All in all the place was just as described and even more, it was a great stay and we would definitively come back!

Loved the house and the location. Stunning views of the coast and so peaceful. The house was very spacious and kept in immaculate order. We had everything we needed including entertainment options for movies etc. Perfect holiday home for a family. Our super hosts Lindie and Danie were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely love to go back hopefully during the warmer summer months.

I can't fault anything. Everything was great including some conveniences like lamps and a small gas stove for when it was loadshedding. Would have been phenomenal if there was backup generator but it wasn't a necessity especially since we were are on holiday so we enjoyed the peace and quiet.
