Reviewed Sep 15, 2026This place honestly feels like a hidden paradise in the mountains of Taounate. The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, and waking up surrounded by pure nature and silence was something truly special. The auberge has an authentic charm that makes you want to forget about time and stay longer. I also enjoyed a beautiful hike nearby, which made the experience even more memorable.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026The hotel has a very welcoming staff. We had a very friendly arrival and check-in, English was no problem. The rooms were well equipped, dinner and breakfast was really good. Although the hotel is not in a very busy area of Morocco, there is a lot to do around the place. The owner knows many good places for swimming and exploring and does not hesitate to show you around himself if you are interested. Given the comfort and equipment of the room, the price was very good. We had a great stay there!

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026El trato del personal. Me cambiaron de ubicación a una habitación mejor y más arriba rápidamente en cuanto dije que estaba incómoda.
No tenía enchufe en el baño, no puedes secarte el pelo. No tiene minibar y las habitaciones de la primera planta están muy expuestas a la visibilidad de la calle. El desayuno no se sirve en la terraza con vistas que anuncia en la aplicación.

Reviewed May 15, 2026Notre séjour c'est incroyablement bien passé. On a eu un merveilleux accueil de la part d'Amina, la réceptionniste. Elle est a l'écoute et toujours a disposition et d'une gentillesse impeccable. A côté ce cela Monsieur Abdeljalil, le propriétaire, nous a également fait passer un séjour extraordinaire. Il est très aimable et nous a fait découvrir tous les recoins possibles. Il était au petit soin avec nous.
Les chambres sont propres, mais quand on regarde en détail on voit qu’effectivement les finitions doivent être faite. Mais les points positives prenaient tellement le dessus que ceci nous dérangeait pas.

Tür zum Bad ließ sich nicht richtig schließen und Licht darin ging immer wieder an. Verkehrslärm von der Durchgangsstraße.

Reviewed May 7, 2026Excellent séjour à l’hôtel Golden Star. L’établissement est très propre et idéalement situé. La chambre était spacieuse, confortable et parfaitement entretenue. Un grand merci surtout à Monsieur Abdeljalil, le propriétaire, qui a été extrêmement sympathique et attentionné durant tout notre séjour. Il a pris le temps de nous conseiller plusieurs endroits magnifiques à visiter dans la région, ce qui a rendu notre voyage encore plus agréable. Nous sommes venus en moto et avons beaucoup apprécié la présence d’un parking sécurisé sur place, très pratique pour les motards. Je recommande fortement cet hôtel pour l’accueil, la propreté et la qualité du service.

Tout est au rendez-vous : un personnel attentionné, professionnel et toujours prêt à aider, une ambiance familiale chaleureuse, des chambres impeccables et une cuisine savoureuse et très propre. Un établissement qui se distingue par la qualité de son service et le respect envers ses clients. Je recommande sans hésitation !

L'eau chaude met beaucoup de temps à arriver, du moins dans notre chambre. Sinon, point à améliorer, dans notre chambre, il n'y avait qu'une seule prise de courant !!! Aucune dans la salle de bain !!!

Reviewed Apr 22, 2026Unglaublich freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Hotelier (Boss) Obwohl das Hotel direkt am den Hauptstraße liegt, ist es dort sehr angenehm und nicht zu laut. Die Dachterrasse bietet einen Klasse Ausblick auf die Umgebung und das gewusel auf der Straße. Der "Boss" hat uns noch angeboten mit seinem Geländewagen auf den nächsten Berg zu fahren, da der Sonnenuntergang dort "romantisch" besser zu sehen ist. Wir waren leider zu platt dafür. Unsere Motorräder standen auf der Terrasse sicher mit Videoüberwachung, Security und einem Scheinwerfer der alles hell erleuchtet hat. Wir würden vorher per WhatsApp angeschrieben ob wir etwas zu Abend essen möchten. Die Speisekarte kam als PDF dazu. Das Essen war sehr lecker und ausreichend. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.
Wir könnten auf dem Balkon das Licht nicht ausschalten. Die Vorhänge konnten dadurch nicht alles verdunkeln.

Se pusieron en contacto por whatssap para preguntar si íbamos a cenar y tenerlo preparado. Las motos se aparcan en la misma puerta del hotel. Buena relación calidad precio.

Ze hadden wat variatie kunnen aanbrengen. Maar, dat is dan mijn mening. Ze deden wel hun uiterste best. Geen probleem.

Les chambres exigus pas de sièges pas de table, armoire sans étagères. En fait pas d’entretien donc tout se dégrade le papier peint se décolle. Chambre très bruyante sur une rue très passante .

Reviewed Apr 2, 2026Staff were really friendly, the manager checked we were all ok after our really lovely meal. Parking for the motorbike was just in front of reception with video surveillance, it was a perfect stopover. Breakfast was fab, and big.
Lighting in our room. We had to take out the key card out for the night as the bulb was still glowing after being turned off. But no big problem.
