Found it hard to get the TV to work but when I contacted the owner, she told me how to sort it

Reviewed Jun 19, 2024A traditional cosy Irish Cottage hidden away in a very peaceful, rural countryside location, just minutes from Dromahair village. Great value for money, good communication with the host, handy check in with coded key box and a well equipped kitchen with some sweet treats left for us,which was a really nice touch.

- I forgot whether breakfast was supposed to be included but the cereal was completely stale - NO wifi, it’s my fault not checking and took it for granted that there’ll be wifi. Got a bit difficult as the data signal got really sketchy there (there’s signal only at certain corners of the house for me) - please Update the official address on booking.com - this was partly my fault as the host did send me a message with the right address. I, for some reason, did not get notifications for the message sent to me and missed it. So I drove to the address in the booking.com listing and was led to an old vacant property for sale. Panicked as I didn’t have signal but a lovely local man knew exactly where “Clinton’s cottage” is so I got there in the end. - Would be great to have a drying rack to go with the washer.

Cottage needs a deep clean. Dirty skirting boards. Lots of dead insects on bathroom window sill. Dead leaves on lounge window sill. Bits of old soap and half used toiletries left in bathroom. The owners played very loud music until midnight on one night making it impossible to sleep.

Reviewed Apr 15, 2024Very peaceful. Amazing unexpected scenery en route. Good value for money. Tea bags and kettle in the kitchen were handy. We brought milk with us so that was great. Good local shop, bar n restaurants for dinner 10 minutes away.
It was a bit tricky to find but I had problems getting the message they sent earlier giving me the correct postcode for satnav. We soon got there anyway so that was fine.

Reviewed Feb 18, 2024I had a lovely stay at Clinton's cottage with my dog. Everything was perfect. It's situated in the countryside in a lovely quiet setting while still only being at 10 minutes from Manorhamilton. The host left lots of lovely and delicate attentions around the house, she also sent the code for the keybox early that morning. The house was spotless, warm and comfortable. The communication with the host was very easy. I really enjoyed my stay and will go back there as soon as I can.

The only problem we had was we couldn't figure out how the heating worked, I think it would have been helpful to have some instructions like there were for the television

Very small bed.comfortable but a very small double. There us plenty of room for a bigger one. Please! It was a lovely cottage in a lovely spot. Would go back in an instant! Few very little nags..please type out instructions rather than lots of scribbled notes. Especially for water tv heating power cooker washer. Could do with more cooking implements spatula tongs slotted spoon etc.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2023The cottage was everything we needed. It's in a great location. It's a great base if you love the outdoors, plenty to do within short distances. It has everything you need kitchen wise. The bed is really comfy. We brought our dogs they really enjoyed it. It's down a lane so nice and quiet. We met Noeleen and her husband as we were leaving who are lovely. Would definitely stay again.
Nothing. Loved everything. There's no wifi or reception but we knew this when booking. It's one of the reasons we booked it so we could have a digital detox. I did get 5g coverage directly outside the cottage.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2023Clean & comfortable cottage in a peaceful rural location with everything you need for a short stay. Noeleen was quick to respond & directions on check- in very clear. She kindly left some breakfast basics.
It's a real get away as no wifi (this was expected) & I had no phone coverage while there. This is perfect for a short break. Great to have the microwave - some microwave-friendly crockery would be great.

Interior doors had swollen so couldn't close them.
