Hotel White House - A Family Homestay

Excelente comida y mejor té chai que he probado en la India, muy buen anfitrión Hemant, ama la cocina y todos le queda muy delicioso.

Alojarnos en esta increíble casa familiar de 125 años ha sido el punto álgido de nuestro viaje, pero lo mejor de todo ha sido conocer a Hemant. Es una persona excelente que nos ha cuidado súper bien desde el primer momento, haciéndonos sentir parte de su familia. Su amabilidad no tiene límites y, además, ¡prepara el mejor té masala de toda la India! Aunque las instalaciones son sencillas y la limpieza es justa, la hospitalidad de Hemant y el encanto histórico de la casa compensan absolutamente todo. ¡Una experiencia humana inolvidable que recomendamos de corazón!

Hemant was so lovely and cooked great food. And the rooftop is spectacular! It’s so nice to sit up there in the afternoon and watch the birds.

Gostei da hospitalidade do anfitrião e da localização. O anfitrião é muito simpático e solícito. A localização fica numa rua estreita e silenciosa. Fiquei hospedada no maior quarto da acomodação, que possui janela e banheiro privativo. É um lugar modesto, mas cuidado com muito amor e carinho pelo proprietário. Há um rooftop de onde se tem uma linda vista da cidade e do pôr do sol.

De gastheer was een super vriendelijke en hardwerkende man met zalige kookkunsten. We hebben hier heel erg graag gelogeerd en zouden zonder twijfel terugkomen.

Hernant è un bravo cuoco, la colazione e la cena (costosissima) erano comunque molto buoni.

La camera prenotata non era disponibile e me ne è stata data una inferiore (senza sconto), ma soprattutto erano in corso dei lavori di tinteggiatura con vernici e solventi che hanno reso l'aria irrespirabile. Volevo fermarmi un giorno in più ma sono dovuto andare nell'hotel di fronte perché era impossibile dormire in un cantiere. Il cibo, come detto, è molto buono. Peccato che il prezzo sia molto più alto che altrove, ma lo si impara solo alla fine (non c'è un menù) quando hernant, sorridendo, fa il conto. Per una cena e un piccolo extra alla colazione (che era inclusa) ho speso 1500 rupie. Per meno della metà si mangia in ottimi ristoranti li vicino. Esperienza complessivamente deludente. Non è stata brutta, ma speravo meglio. È un hotel senza tante energie positive.

Hemant è un proprietario molto ospitale che riesce a farti sentire in famiglia. Oltre ad essere un bravissimo cuoco, è disponibile a mostrarti come cucina i suoi piatti. Propone anche diverse attività quali massaggi, yoga ecc. Abbiamo fatto lunghe chiacchierate molto interessanti.

La struttura è datata ma tenuta abbastanza bene

El dueño es muy atento y amable, además de un magnífico cocinero. Las instalaciones son un poco antiguas, pero no tuvimos ninguna incidencia y la habitación estaba limpia. Lo mejor es su comida casera en la terraza sin duda! Recomendable

- la colazione è composta da caffè e una buonissima crepe. Una crepe del genere in Italia la paghi minimo sui 4 euro, per cui praticamente il costo che abbiamo sostenuto per una notte e colazione è gia ripagato con la colazione - Il proprietario parla un buon inglese e si può dialogare tranquillamente. È pure piuttosto simpatico

Ci sono parecchie cose che non sono da punteggio 9.2 (attuale punteggio di Booking) e che - nonostante il prezzo basso (seppur in linea con gli alloggi in Indiani di media qualità)- dovreste considerare prima di prenotare - Ci sono formiche, anche in camera da letto - La camera da letto (standard) è piccolissima: sembrava una cella da prigione più che una camera da letto - Pulizia lasciata un po’ a desiderare, sia nelle camere che negli spazi comuni. Non dovete essere schizzinosi per soggiornare qui - L’entrata della guesthouse è in una stradina defilata, piuttosto sporca e realmente indiana, con due vacche che abitano lì fuori - Il proprietario è simpatico, ma mi ha deluso quando ha detto “venite a pranzo da me, mangerete il miglior hummus incredibile”. Siamo tornati per pranzo e lui non si è presentato. Ho chiamato e ha detto “20 minuti e arrivo”. È tornato con tipo 2 ore e mezzo di ritardo: non muore nessuno, ma non ha senso dire bugie per due volte e far perdere tempo alle persone. Consiglio quindi di riporre limitata fiducia

La struttura è carina, con grande potenziale. Ha una grande terrazza dal quale vedere il tramonto sulla città. L’accoglienza è calorosa, Hemant è un host attento e premuroso, pronto a preparanti una grande varietà di piatti!

Room was attached with open toilet and size very conjusted difficult to movement inside room. Latrin washing pipe was direct attached with main bathing pipe in open condition. Manager behaviour was not good. In my life never saw such kind of room

The owner is very friendly, location quite near lake.

A/C didn't work, only blew room temperature air out, very noisy A/C. Fan also very noisy. Bathroom toilet very small, no hot water but it was summer. Very expensive for the facilities. Worth 700-1000 INR as a guest house, but we paid 1600 INR,plus taxes, supposedly reduced from 2500 INR on Booking.com.

This is the perfect place to stay in Pushkar. It is comfortable, clean and in a good location. It was one of our favourite places we stayed in all of India because of the owner Haman - he was like a friend, cooking for us and giving us local tips.

La climatisation fait énormément de bruit et la chambre est petite

Ce fut un vrai bonheur de séjourner à la White House. L’ambiance est magique, les parties communes sont top. Nous avons été reçues à merveille. Le petit déjeuner et les repas sont extra Un pur moment de partage

El alojamiento es excelente, Hemant es el dueño y es muy atento, siempre listo para atender cualquier necesidad, es un excelente cocinero y siempre nos sorprende con platos exquisitos, dejamos que el decida la comida ya que lo hace utilizando los ingredientes frescos que consigue en el mercado, recomiendo altamente probar sus platillos!

Sehr gutes Frühstück. Auch Mittagessen und Abendessen waren sehr lecker. Der Betreiber Hermant hat mir jeden Wunsch erfüllt und war sehr hilfreich bei jeder Art von Erledigung. Hermant war jederzeit zu erreichen und hat mir ein schönes Gefühl von Zuhausesein gegeben. Dank der Klimaanlage im Zimmer hatte ich im heißen Monat Mai immer einen kühlen Rückzugsort, was ich sehr zu schätzen wußte.

Fantastica accoglienza di Hemant che fa tutto con amore, dal farti conoscere la sua città al preparare ottimi piatti. Non dimenticherò mai il suo porridge al mango. La struttura è molto bella e antica e la stanza è comoda e pulita. Ottima sia la cena che la colazione. Super consigliato! Hemant nel mio cuore.

Hemant (the host) was amazing, all in all the room was good, nothing special but it was clean and had AC. The rooftop terrace was amazing and Hemant just made it perfect, not a simple home stay but an experience. He personally cooked for us amd had dinner with us chatting about life and we had a morning meditation session together also. Can't recommend it enough for the experience and because you will have a new friend by staying here. Thank you Hemant!

Agréable séjour chez Hamant , on se sent à la maison . La grande chambre double est confortable , il n’y a pas trop de bruit le soir . Proche du lac tout se fait à pied ! Hamant cuisine très bien tout est délicieux ! Je suis restée une semaine .

Отличный в свою стоимость отель. Очень заботливый хозяин, каждый день готовит интересный завтрак и поэтично его подаёт) отель расположился в старинном хавели и это нужно учитывать. Номер совсем маленький, ванная комната тоже скромная, всё не новое, но чистое. Кровать отличная, удобная, бельё ок. Приятная терраса для завтрака. Спасибо, white house, за свой вклад в новую любовь под названием Пушкар))

The location was good.

arrived here and even though I had booked with booking.com my room was not available. The owner gave me his room and slept on the roof, which was OK, but then I had to pack up my stuff and move it all the next day. The second room was still not the one I booked and had a huge window into the hostel so even with the curtain pulled the light kept me awake. I found the two day stay really very stressful and I had very little sleep. The worst part was that because it was, Holi Festival the room was ridiculously over priced so I had to pay through the nose for this horrible experience. I received a small refund, but it wasn't enough and I was, very very unhappy.

As per my last review, everything!

The host is very welcoming, friendly, kind, and attentive. He takes good care of you and is a great cook. His food is made with love. The location is central. The facility is old, but that is what makes it home feeling. I had a great stay!

Very clean, very friendly, excellent food. It is only a short walk to Pushkar lake but still set back enough to make it a little quieter. The walk to the temple on the hill at the back is great in the e morning and a lovely spot to sit in the shade and enjoy the view. We highly recommend the food.

Bed was little hard but perfectly fine.

My stay was really like a family homestay great, the room was so nice and Mr Hemant was super professional. I had the best ever vegan omelette breakfast 👌🏾✨

It's a lovely, authentic place tucked down a back street. The rooms are clean and unsuite. The roofterrace is a delight and it overlooks a lovely garden where all the veg is grown. The owner has excellent English and his welcome mango tea is delicious

Only a few minutes walk from the lake. Nice view from the rooftop terrace.

Not really clean & furniture etc. not in the best condition. Beds are pretty hard. Felt very uncomfortable & unsafe there as female solo traveler because the owner behaved inappropriately several times: When I checked in in the afternoon, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. I asked for it and the owner showed up at my door only dressed in his underpants. The next evening he knocked at my door calling my name. Later that night (past 10pm) there was someone sneaking around in front of my room. The doors are made of frosted glass with a curtain in front, so you see when someone is outside. I left the next morning, even though I had actually planned to stay two nights longer and I had already paid in advance.

The host, Hemant is full of energy and an amazing person, always ready to help. The breakfast which is included was simply amazing. The host is a very experienced cook and very passionate about it.

It's a very cozy and authentic place with beautiful views on the top. The food is delicious, especially tomato soup! The stuff is helpful.

I would feel more comfortable if the stuff won't sit in front of me while I'm eating 😁

This was our second stay at White House… to add to my last review, Hemand the owner is so friendly and loving, he does everything from the heart. If I was back in pushkar again I would have no doubt about staying here again!

Hotel White House ist eine kleine Oase im Zentrum bon Pushkar. Der Gastgeber war wirklich freundlich und war bei jedem Anliegen sehr hilfsbereit. Das Essen, dass er zubereit hat war das beste das wir in Pushkar bekommen haben. Die Zimmer waren sehr konfortabel und der Rooftop bietet einen perfekten Ausblick über die Stadt. 100% Empfehlung!

Abbiamo passato 2 notti in questa favolosa guest house. Hemant è fantastico, un amico! Ti fa sentire a casa, è un bravissimo intrattenitore e fa tutto da solo nella Guest House. Purtroppo non abbiamo avuto la possibilità di assaggiare il suo cibo per problemi di stomaco ma tutti ci hanno assicurato che fosse buonissimo! La camera era spaziosa e avevamo anche un balconcino. Posizione perfetta, centrale e tranquilla.

Le prese hanno smesso di funzionare il secondo giorno, ma Hemanth è stato così carino da offrirci la sua camera per poter caricare o telefoni.

A perfect stay thanks to an exceptional host! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We spent two nights at this hotel, and beyond the comfort and cleanliness of the place, it was truly the owner who made our stay comfortable. He took great care of us from start to finish, always ready to help with incredible kindness. He helped us a lot with organizing our transportation, even going so far as to find us a taxi at 2:00 AM when we needed one! It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and caring, and that makes all the difference! Thank you again for this exceptional hospitality. We highly recommend this hotel!

Had the best stay at this lovely Hotel in Pushkar ☺️ It felt like family from the first moment. Hemant was such an incredible friendly, easygoing and supportive host. He will be able to help you with anything you might need. Also he is an outstanding cook - by far the best and cleanest food I have had in India. C'est un lieu qui partage positivement son histoire. Il est très lumineux de par sa structure. Et le "gardien des lieux" me donnait le sourire... J'ai choisi l'établissement "par hasard". Le hasard a très bien fait les choses. Merci pour ce lieu !

* Stay - It's a traditional rajasthani style homestay with a feel of home. * Host - Hemant sir is the host of the property as well as amazing chef. He can help you understand the history of pushkar and how pushkar developed over a period of time and a lot more. He is a traveller himself. * Food - He will surprise with incredible food, something you would have never tried and heard of. He has some special recipes as well which he developed after trying out alot of things.

I recently stayed at Hotel White House for the 3rd time, and I would definitely stay again the next time I'm in Pushkar. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable and have hot water. There's a restaurant on the terrace, a lovely place to spend a sunny morning. Host Hemant cooks ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS FOOD! He's been cooking for a long time and does it with love and creativity. A lot of the produce comes from the family's farm, which you can see from the terrace. The food Hemant makes really is incredibly delicious, fresh and healthy. Hemant is a kind and generous host, eager to connect with his guests on a genuine level. I had some great conversations with him, but he respected by wishes and wasn't pushy. The first time I stayed at White House I was with my 70+ year old mother, and she was very frazzled and tired when we arrived. Hemant immediately took care of her, bringing her Mango tea and assuring her that everything would be ok, which it was! I will always appreciate the great kindness and care with which he treated her. Die Unterkunft war total schön! Das Frühstück von Hemant war super lecker und wir konnten Morgens auf dem Dach Yoga machen und Abends gemeinsam Karten spielen. Eine große Empfehlung!

The Room was big enough for me, it was also clean. The area around is nice, a local area but within 2minutes walk you can be at the market. The owner was also really nice, it’s important for him that his guests feel comfortable. His food is amazing, you have to try!

Amazing calm place, with beautiful terrace and beautiful view. Especially the owner is such a great guy that will help you with anything you need and he is also an amazing cook. I would definitely come back just for the amazing breakfast and vibes this place has.

We loved our stay at White House so much we extended 3 times. The room was spacious & had everything we needed, cosy bed,warm blankets and hot hot water! Lovely shared spaces & rooftop perfect for morning meditation & yoga. Also loved being able to use the free weights. Most of all, Hermadt is a wonderful host with the biggest heart. He makes incredible breakfast with so much love. We came as guests & will leave as family. We look forward to returning one day ♥️

The best thing on this property is the owner Hemant, very welcoming and carying person. He is always around and looks after you. He is also the best cook, on the rooftop is a restaurant and he created every day something different and very delicious for me. The rooftop is very nice, you can do yoga or just relax in the sun. I loved my stay at White house would book it every time again.

1- The host Hemant Pandey is a really humble person, he is like one man army from maintaining the cleanliness of the property to preparing good food he is managing everything with utmost perfection. 2- Rooftop cafe is one of the best part of this property where you can spend your whole day by enjoying the scenic beauty of Aravali mountain range. 3. I have to mention about the food. Hemant ji is a phenomenal cook, if you are planning to stay in this property you should try the scrumptious food from this cafe.

I had the best stay, the homestay is amazing, super chill vibes and it is such a beautiful place to relax in Pushkar. It is super well located, it is central but far from the noise of the city and the wifi works perfectly. The place is really clean and the rooms are super spacious and quiet. The rooftop is a big plus and it is amazing to practice yoga or to read there. The owner is the best cooker, I had the best breakfasts and the best curry of India, you definitely need to try it. It is organic and healthy food but soooo tasty!!!! I absolutely loved my stay here, go there without doubting it one second, you will be welcomed so good, the owner is super nice, I could not recommend more!!!!

We loved everything in this beautiful and clean hotel. Rooms are amazing, big and mattresses are comfortable. Breakfast is very delicious, healthy and you can order anything you want. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable and can give you many tips about Pushkar and surroundings. He's also a very good cook. We had dinner at his restaurant three nights in a row. His restaurant is located on the terrace with a beautiful view. You can also rent scooters here. You can practice yoga, meditation and do gym in the terrace.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed. The bed was comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in and check-out very easy. The hotel location was perfect, close to key attractions and transportation options. I also appreciated the excellent breakfast options and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Highly recommended for a relaxing and convenient stay!

My stay at the White House was wonderful, I felt at home! the owner was very kind and welcoming. Excellent Indian and international cuisine, fresh and organic food! The room is spacious and clean with a nice little balcony ! I highly recommend this place !
