Cosy private room

Good value, friendly, clean, and the presence of some essentials in the kitchen felt like a warm welcome.

For eating out, the town is a bit far to walk.

It was fine for a two night stay as a couple where we could reset ourselves and catch up on washing after travelling. The facilities worked (apart from the kettle) which is all you need really. Shower was one of the most powerful I've had! The owner/contact was very amenable although we never met them.

The premises appear to be sold and maybe the owner has moved out as it looks uncared for outside and inside just seems dated, so it may not be available in the future. Doesn't look like it's pictures now. Some of the electrics also seem dodgy. Could do with updating.

Easy check in. Everything what we need was there.

Free parking was available on premises

Bed and pillows very bad. Floor dirty and hairy. No table in the room. Bathroom in the basement and you have to walk in corridor where you have entrance door with big window and no covers. Bathroom smelly and moist.

One night stay. Late arrival. Nice hosts. The rooms were quite big, close to the road, but no noise issues inside. Coffee and tea were available.

Bathroom had some minor issues

Very clean, Practical and enough space to stay overnight with four persons on our way to Sweden, coming from the Netherlands. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Good value for money.

The property was calm, good location for us. It had a kitchen so we could cook.

There was room for improvment but it was a very good place for some days.

It's not cosy at all, it's not even nice, it's just very basic. It's also not expensive.

Close to Freeway

On arrival our plan was to wash clothes as that was the main reason for booking. Unfortunately both the dry and the washer were full of sheets and towels. As there were only hand towels on each bed in each room our towels were part of the washing. We were advised that we could have either room as we were the only booking, good thing as it says private bathroom not shared. I’m sure when the business started it was a lot better the photos were from then as well. It felt like they were not prepared for us. Not that we ended having any but it was a hunt to find coffee or tea though no milk for the coffee so we went back out to find milk and something for breakfast. If basic and cheap is what you are after then it’s the right option. Make sure you confirm if you are sharing or not.
