Reviewed May 29, 2026We loved the quiet, the ocean view, and the space.
Unfortunately the heating was not working when we were there. The host was kind enough to come by and help us. He also gave us plenty of wood for a fire. Coming from the US, some of the appliances and the shower were a challenge to figure out how to use.

Reviewed May 2, 2026Amazing cottage. We stayed 2 nights and it was a delight! Great kitchen and great living room! It felt like home. And the owner was super nice, checking if everything was ok. If we ever return to Ireland we will definitely return here as well!

Lack of firewood upon arrival so bear in mind if you're arriving later in the winter evenings. The garage mins drive away was out of firewood so I found some in supervalu in town. Lack of front door mat. Tv remote not working correctly/broken so difficult to change channels.

Circular staircase was difficult to navigate for us older folks. Shower was difficult to figure out and no directions. TV wasn't working.

Reviewed May 20, 2025Our group enjoyed being together in one space. The kitchen/living area open space made it easy to relax and spend time together. The property manager was very helpful when I had questions and quickly replaced the propane for the stove when it ran out.
Everything was nice, nothing to dislike. It did get a little warm upstairs in the afternoons but I think that's likely true of most places in Ireland. It cooled off by evening for a nice night's sleep.

Reviewed Jun 6, 2024Lovely stone cottage, an ideal summer home. Kids loved the bunkbed room, main bedroom is massive! It's overall very cottage-y and cozy. Location is ideal for exploring the Dingle peninsula, just 7 minutes from town, and on a nice dirt drive that leads right down to the water.
Mattresses were a bit hard, bath water took forever to heat up (even with immersion boosted!), and floors are very creaky. None of these are dealbreakers by any means.

Reviewed May 26, 2024Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. Great coastal view from the bedrooms and a quick walk to the shore. Easy drive into town and very comfortable for a large group. We had 7 adults, and it was perfect.
The laundry was not inside the house but in a shared facility. It was too expensive and was in use while we were there.

Reviewed May 21, 2024Superb location, easy access to town. Nice living room & fully equipped kitchen with everything you needed. Master bedroom was excellent and the kids bedroom was OK.
Not much for kids, and they were missing the fun. The second bedroom was small and we're unable to sleep there in the early hours due to the heat and sunligh... Good for a small family..
