Never met the hosts at all during our stay. Even on arrival or departure. I always think it's nice to get a welcome, we did receive a hand written card. I don't think it was worth £200 for a night. There was a musty smell inside the cabin and the oven was still dirty from the previous guest. It's very out of the way, nothing much restaurant wise in the town close by.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2025I stayed at this cabin for just one night, but it was such a great experience! The place was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The highlight for me was definitely the hot tub – it was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. I'm also really grateful for all the help and support I received; everything went smoothly thanks to the excellent communication and care. I’d definitely love to come back and stay longer next time!

The cabin was located a little closer to the house than I was expecting. It was still very private though with the fencing around it. The check out time is a little earlier than I'd like for a stay like this.
