I arrived at 22: 00 and before the flight I already wrote to the hostel that I would arrive at this time and told me that everything would be fine , when i arrived he told me that I could not check in because he had no place for me

It's quiet.

My oid roommate doesn't clean up after eating. He doesn't wash up after eating. I can't continue cooking. Living together should have manners.

There is no front desk or office in the property. But you can text the owner for any questions.

The hostel is a very well priced, tidy and maintained dormitory in a quiet area in Muscat. Theres plenty of food options, supermarkets and shopping centres nearby too. The staff were accommodating to my request for the free shuttle, and we're all very friendly

The bright point of this hostel is: They will pick you up at Muscat Airport. Kitchen and Refrigerator available. It's comfortable to spend one night layover.

Very cool and nice place. Absolutely fantastic personal. My own issue: air conditioning is too strong, but it was ok for other guests.

It's a great place to stay considering it comes with a free airport pickup to the property. It's among the lowest possible accommodation dorm rate that we can find in expensive Muscat. For around 5-6 USD, it's pretty good value of money. Generally clean and comfortable dorm bed.

Not really a negative but apparently, the airport pickup sent me to a different property location nearby its official listed address. I was confused for a bit on the way to get back to the hostel when I went out, but the staff was responsive and quick to give me the address to find my own way so all good.

Really impossible to beat for the price - I only stayed one night but slept well and the complimentary airport pick-up worked fine even though my flight was delayed and I arrived quite late in the evening. Staff were very courteous and helpful.

I went to the adress and my floor in the buding was empty, there was nothing! I didnt understand. The same picture of building in the booking. Then, when i arrived very early at the morning, before i had chatting with the guy but upon my arrival no response. He send me a message the day after but it was too late.

Management is kind. It’s as expected.

Someone here commented about this and another traveler did to me when leaving. The guests are the problem. Taking calls on FaceTime at 3 am, shouting across the room at all hours to talk, letting their notifications beep throughout the night, smoking in the bathroom (not even bothering to flush the cigarette butts). I didn’t sleep for days and nor did the other person I talked to. Unless you can sleep like the dead, don’t stay here. Hostel should fine these people or kick them out. They literally have a sign saying no shouting. So it’s known. These people (Bangladeshi or Indian, certainly not Arab, didn’t care when I said it’s quiet hours. They’d then get a 9 from me if these rude people weren’t there.

The best thing about the hostel is the airport shuttle service, but you need to stay for four nights to qualify for a free return journey. I doubt I would have been able to find the hostel if I'd had to take a taxi from the airport. The fan and air conditioning are both good, as is the hot water in the bathroom.

The beds (and most of the pillows, but luckily not mine) are extremely hard, which makes sleeping very difficult. The kitchen is too dirty to even consider using, but there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. There was a power cut for several hours one day. There is nowhere to charge devices in the (comfortable) common area.

The Indian tenants were very welcoming and a mother and daughter helped me and gave me water to drink.

A bit difficoult to rate. Very liberal and informal place that immediately rises some questions about safety and yet is surprisingly reassuring after some time. Many friendly people.

Staff was very welcoming and even allow me to stay for few hours as my flight was late night.

90% of the guests were annoying and noisy. I couldn’t sleep good most of the nights. If they put rules for this like turning off lights at 23:00 and having to be completely silence in the rooms and in the corridor after that hour, this hostel would be a 10/10 for me.

Very committed owner, a taekwond master, who understands a lot about the world. He can solve a lots of logistic issues like to/from key places, what to do, where to find etc.

It is probably the most popular hostel in the country, so it may be difficult to reserve.
