Reviewed Apr 20, 2026What’s not to like. Amazing decor, amazing host. Location is just on the outskirts of Kaprun - very easy walk to the centre of town. Very close to a Spar supermarket, very easy access by car or bus to the 2 ski gondola stations.

Reviewed Apr 7, 2026Sehr umfangreiches Frühstück mit auch ungwöhnlichen Sachen wie selbstgemachte Säfte, Kimchi und Currypasten. Die Eier durfte man selbst kochen, macht total Spaß. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, sehr individuell eingerichtet, der Außenbereich ein Traum.
Direkt an einer vielgefahrenen Straße, aber die Lage ist trotzdem toll, da man überall schnell ist

Reviewed Nov 21, 2025Zirbenzimmer sehr angenehm wunderbar geschlafen obwohl die Pension an der Hauptstraße liegt. 5 Gehminuten zum Tauern Spa Eintritt im Hotelpreis inbegriffen. Frühstück sehr ausgiebig sehr freundlich auf jeden Fall zum empfehlen!!!!
Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer sind im ersten Stock kein Lift

Reviewed Oct 18, 2025Die Inhaberin war ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Jeden Tag begrüßte sie ihre Gäste mit einem Lächeln und hatte stets einen guten Ausflugstipp parat, wenn man danach fragte. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und bot eine reichhaltige Auswahl. Nach einer langen Wanderung konnte man bequem und auf kurzem Weg direkt in die Tauern Spa zum Entspannen gehen – der Eintritt war dank Simones Karte bereits inklusive. So konnte man ganz entspannt die Sauna oder die Therme genießen. Zahlreiche gute Lokale waren sowohl zu Fuß als auch mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar.

A special thank you to the hostess Simona, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. She did everything to make our stay truly enjoyable. We loved absolutely everything and would definitely love to come back again! Thank you for your warm hospitality!

The B&B she runs with love is very nicely renovated, comfortable beds, tasty breakfast and conveniently located. And having the opporturnity of a free access to the Tauernspa adds even more perfection.
Can't complain about anything, all was perfect.

Buses are not so frequent. If you do not care bus timeline you may wait for a long time at bus stops.

Reviewed Feb 15, 2024Simone is an exceptional host and a very kind person. We've stayed in several different ski resorts in all different levels, and our experience with Simone was one of the best. The pension is very cozy with a great Ski Room and you can buy the Ski Pass directly at the Pension. Simone helped us with anything we needed, including special requests. I highly recommend Simones Platzerl for a stay in Kaprun.

Reviewed Feb 21, 2023We spent 7 fantastic days at the Pension St. Georg. What we appreciated the most was the very friendly atmosphere and helpful owner - Simone. The guest house is an 8-minute walk from the center of Kaprun and the Meiskogel lift. It is beautifully furnished (a combination of traditional wooden house and modern) and cleaned daily. A very nice addition is the Tauern SPA card during the entire stay in the price of accommodation. The breakfasts were always plentiful and there was at least 1 new addition every day like a delicious apple strudel. It was my 3rd stay in Kaprun but I already know that next time I will definitely choose this location.
