Bridge Pa cottage

Everything especially comfort of cottage so clean and exceeded expectations.

Very clean and tidy. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was a welcome surprise!

Problem with the heat pump, E7 error which we forgot to leave a note about for the hosts, but it did not affect our stay.

Everything was perfect but a small carpet/rug on the loungeroom floor in front of seating to take off the chill would have made it perfect.

This lovely country property was a private stand alone building away from the hosts home. The cottage was large with comfortable furnishings, lovely linen and fluffy towels. It was well equipped for short or long term stays and has a lovely outlook across paddocks where we enjoyed watching the baby rabbits playing, birds singing, sheep grazing. It is a short drive from town which made the stars sparkle in the inky black nights sky. The washing machine and washing line was a real bonus along with parking at the front door. Our friendly hostess, Vivienne welcomed us providing all the information we could need. Thank you for a lovely peaceful stay.

To complete the already comfortable homely feel, a nice rug on the floor in front of the lounge seats would be perfect for warm feet.

Vivianne hat uns als Gastgeberin herzlich Willkommen geheissen. Das Apartment ist ca 10 Fahrminuten außerhalb Hastings in ruhiger Lage und Umgebung. Es ist grosszügig und wunderschön eingerichtet und ebenso ausgestattet, es fehlt wirklich an nichts! Wir haben und hier sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft BESTENS weiterempfehlen!

We had a lovely one night stay here but would've liked to stay longer. The hotel style bedding and artwork was great. Very clean, well thought out with friendly welcoming hosts.

Beautiful farm stay. Quiet. Small airport across the road if you enjoy watching small planes, gliders take off this Bridge PA is the place to book. Under 10mins drive to Hastings.

Clean comfortable and well appointed.

Tricky to find at night, a sign on the gate would be useful. No undercover / indoor option to dry clothes.

The location was a bit out of town but only 15 minutes from Havelock North so that was okay. The accommodation was stylish, spotless, very fresh and new looking, cosy warm beds, plenty of hot water, very good shower, heat pump. The bedroom was a good size with room to put suitcases, with cute little bedside tables and reading lights, the lounge/kitchen area was big and the bathroom/laundry well planned.

There wasn’t really anything that could have been better.

We were warmly welcomed by Vivienne into well equipped, very comfortable and well decorated accommodation. Vivienne has thought of everything when it comes to the cottage amenities. We had a quiet and very comfortable night in Bridge Pa Cottage. Highly recommended.

It was easy to find. Great location. Very well priced, everything was there for you to use, if you wanted anything you only had to ask , not that you needed to because everything was there. Had a great stay thanks very much. Regards Wayne.

Lovely location to explore the area. The cottage is a hidden gem, well equipped, comfortable, our host Viv is very friendly and helpful. Bed is so comfy. Love the window in the kitchen that looks over fields, there are rabbits and birds in the morning.

Amazing, comfortable stay. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. It's so cool to see some maori decor in the place too. I'm definitely going to stay there again.

Booking.com booked us in on the wrong night. Went back over the booking and it should of been 16 Nov. But somehow they booked us in on the 17th. And bridge pa was double booked..frustrating 😤

Spacious,quiet set rurally and fully equipped. This cottage was above our expectations and provided a great stopover. Close to the expressway and within easy distance to the Wedding venue.

Location was perfect for me. Clean, comfortable home.

I definitely recommend this lodge to people who has a car and want to explore off-the-road part of New Zealand. This lodge is literally in a farm area, very quiet but also means it is not easy to have a dinner at restuarant. I suggest to stop by a super market to buy enough food and wine or beer before your check-in. The lodge is well equiped, new and clear, in term of both laudary and kitchen.

Nothing. I believe the cover top of the LG washing machine needs a quick fix, but it does not bother us at all.

Location is away from shopping centre's. Being rural area, not many choices when it comes to shopping.

The property is a complete 1 bedroom and living room suite with a large bathroom which has heated flooring. Newly renovated and the property is better than the images. Lovely hosts and a really comprehensive cottage. Will highly recommend

A modern, well decorated cottage. Had everything we needed and more. Cottage was well above our expectations and we loved our stay.

A small bottle/container of milk in the fridge would have been super to go with the tea/coffee that was supplied. In the bigger scheme of things, this wasn't really an issue.

Fantastic stay- 1 of our best yet! Very lovely hosts. Well-appointed place and everything seems new. Spacious and clean. Hope it's available if we're ever in the area again.

I really enjoyed my stay and wished that I had stayed a little longer. Vivienne was welcoming and was flexible around check in.
