Warm welcome from the nice lady. Clean room. Nice bath and hot water.

Strange no restaurant or food facilities. We had a pot noodle. Village stores owned by a lovely American/Scottish couple but the choice of food was very poor. If there were some ready meals, things would be looking up!

There was no breakfast. There was no staff. There was no elevator, and all the rooms were upstairs.

La struttura è molto bella. Le camere sono carine e l'arredamento è suggestivo. La signora che ci ha accolto è stata gentilissima. Offrono uno spazio comune con microonde per poter scaldarsi qualcosa da mangiare. L'albero è abbastanza isolato ma vicino c'è un minimarket per comprarsi da mangiare. È stata una bella esperienza.

Non abbiamo trovato lati negativi. Forse il posto è un po' isolato ma fa parte del suo fascino.

Chambre correcte dans cet ancien hôtel restaurant

The furniture, while a bit dated, was very comfortable—especially the beds. I was particularly impressed to find USB ports at the bedside tables. It is a very quiet place with its own parking. Although they don't serve meals, there are places to eat within a 15-minute drive. The lady who checked us in was very friendly; she provided plenty of useful information and let us know we could contact her even if she wasn't on the premises.

Hôtel ancien très bien entretenu. Chambre semblant avoir été refaite, en très bon état et bien décorée, donnant sur la forêt, très calme. Salle de bain avec baignoire et douche, en parfait état. Une salle à manger est mise à disposition avec un four, un toaster, une machine à café ainsi que des assiettes. On peut s'y réchauffer un repas et y petit déjeuner très agréablement.

Les propriétaires annoncent clairement qu'il n'y a pas de restauration mais peut-être que proposer un "kit petit-déjeuner" (toasts, confiture, beurre) pourrait être sympa car il n'y a qu'un petit magasin sur place (et il faut y aller en voiture).

Lovely Scottish ex-hunting lodge with classic features throughout. Beautifully furnished, clean rooms and a very nice feel to the place, we really enjoyed our stay. Friendly welcome too.

No facilities for food and drink but just something to bear in mind, we were aware of this.

The room was clean tidy x comfortable. Little fan at each bed, usb sockets too.

La propietaria encantadora y el lugar bastante cómodo.

Había muchísimo polvo, en la zona común me resultaba imposible estar sin estornudar y moquear constantemente, tuve que tomarme un antihistamínico.

Tipica casa scozzese con moquet e su piu piani.Avevamo la camera all'ultimo piano. Camera molto pulita e confortevole. Una mattina abbiamo avuto un problema con l'acqua che non usciva dai rubinetti del bagno ma appena ho scritto alla proprietaria è venuto il figlio per risolvere. Al nostro ritorno la sera il problema non c'era piu. Ho apprezzato il cambio degli asciugami nonostante non l'avessimo chiesto.

Consiglio di togliere la moquette che c'è in tutta la struttura che da un odore di polvere un po ovunque.

La chambre était très confortable et propre. La salle de bain était propre et fonctionnelle. L'hôtesse était chaleureuse et serviable.

La salle commune n'est pas très chaleureuse, manque de propreté. Il suffirait de peu pour qu'elle soit plus accueillante. Idem pour la terrasse.

Incredible staff, she was super lovely and accommodating, room was as expected and there was a bath, which was really nice after a long day.

Clean, well located

They placed me in the attic on a very warm day, so it was sauna like when I arrived late. I was able to open windows, but it was tough to be comfortable.

Top eingerichtet, top sauber, gemütlich. Alles funktionierte. Genügend Steckdosen. Große Zimmer, Sitzgelegenheiten, Kofferständer.

Leider ohne Frühstück (und kein Restaurant mehr). Aber in der Lounge können Mikrowelle und Toaster genutzt werden, man wurde über Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in der Nöhe informiert.

Just what i needed. Yes there was no food available but there were fridges and microwave and toasters for you to bring your own food.

I was welcomed by the host and all facilities explained to me. Room was well equipped with tea, milk hairdryer, body wash etc. Lovely view. Clean.

I would have preferred a lamp with a switch that could be switched off from the bed. Tv had poor connection

J’ai beaucoup apprécié le côté accueillant de l’hôtesse et de son fils, ce dernier m’a beaucoup aidée concernant mes itinéraires, il était vraiment serviable.

Quiet rural location, easy walk to the railway station, which we used to have a day in Oban. Be aware there are no facilities and plan around it, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

The Lodge is a beautiful property in the vicinity of Glencoe. The staff was very friendly and it was a great place to get away from the rush of hikers that were coming through the area. The nearby village of Tyndrum offered amenities (food, fuel, & shopping).

I wish we'd had time to visit the nearby Kilchurn Castle.

The room was big and clean and comfy.

Felt I'd stepped back in time in the best of ways; traditional Highland decor in this classic lodging with essential updates (wifi, bathroom, usb ports, etc). Wish we had more time to spend and use as home base for explorations. A very warm welcome and helpful information about local offerings from our host. Walking distance to train; short drive to points of historical interest and excellent dining.

Great place - just rooms (perfect for hillwalking with early starts where you'd miss breakfast anyway), and they are very nice rooms - quite large, super clean, quiet, very nice owners. Have stayed here several times, and will be back for many more, I'm sure.

La camera era spaziosissima e molto accogliente. Lo stile è proprio quello di una vecchia tenuta di caccia quindi un po' particolare ma comunque rinfrescato da poco e con tutta una serie di confort non indifferenti. Peccato non offrano almeno la colazione per he sarebbe la ciliegina sulla torta. Comunque consigliatissimo

le seul point positif etait la vue sur les montagne, sinon juste pour une nuit et pas plus! c'est dommage car le batiment en lui meme pourrait etre tres sympa...

Un ancien hotel bar restaurant, mais qui ne fait plus que chambre, le mobilier est bien old school, je pense que le manoir est hanté! nous etions tout seul dans cette hotel, et on a entendu du bruit à l'etage au dessus de nous toute la nuit ! Deja changer la literie pour des matelas beaucoup plus confortable serait le mieux... Le debit de l'eau de la douche est pas top, c'est soit froid avec de la pression soit chaud et un filet d'eau...

Einziges Manko ist die fehlende Möglichkeit, etwas im Hotel zu essen: sehr ungewöhnlich für ein Hotel, aber deutlich auf booking kommuniziert. Ein paar Meilen entfernt gibt es einen prämierten Pub, der sehr leckeres Essen bietet, auch Frühstück

Accueil très sympathique, la personne qui nous a reçues était charmante, elle a parlé lentement car elle savait que l'on avait des difficultés à parler anglais et elle s'est montrée très disponible. L'endroit est très calme et cosy, dans un style tout à fait écossais, à proximité de Kilchurn et St Conan's Church. Nous n'y avons passé qu'une nuit mais aurions pu y rester volontiers plus longtemps.

Camera meravigliosa, pulita, spaziosissima e calda. Davvero accogliente. Purtroppo la struttura perde un po il suo fascino perché non utilizzata a pieno ma vista la posizione e il periodo, abbiamo capito.
