We stayed in the penthouse apartment, and the view was absolutely mesmerising. The location is ideal, with everything nearby- great restaurants and lively spots. Big thanks to D'offay's owner, Maryvonne, who kindly showed us around, saving us much time planning our day trips. The house helpers, Nimanshi and Sachin, were very kind and always looked after us. Maryvonne and her team, along with Doffay car rental, even helped me retrieve my laptop bag at the ferry terminal, which I had forgotten back at the apartment. They are truly wonderful, trustworthy, and reliable.

Staying at D'Offay Seaview Apartments was honestly one of the best decisions we made for this trip. The apartment itself is beautiful — spotlessly clean, spacious, fully equipped, and with a balcony view that made us want to just sit there forever with a morning coffee staring at the sea and mountains. The pool is lovely too. But the real magic here is the people. Maryvonne, George, and the whole team are incredibly warm, kind, and genuinely helpful — always around when you need them, never intrusive. They go so far above and beyond that it honestly feels less like a stay and more like visiting family. One of the highlights of our entire trip was the dinner that Maryvonne and George organized for us and the other guests. Sitting together, sharing an amazing home-cooked Creole meal, swapping stories — it was such a beautiful and generous gesture that we didn't expect at all. That kind of hospitality is truly rare. If you want to experience the real Seychelles with people who genuinely care about making your stay special, look no further. We wish Maryvonne, George, and the whole team all the very best — and we really hope to come back one day! 🙏🌊

Alles war perfekt. Schönes Zimmer, Ruhige Lage, herzliche Gastfreundschaft. Besonderen Dank and Maryvonne und George für das kreolische Abendessen, nicht nur das Essen war köstlich, auch die ganze Atmosphäre war sehr warm, man lernt andere Gäste kennen und erfährt sehr viel über das Land, Insel und Gasgeberfamilie. Man merkt sofort, dass Gastfreundschaft hier am Herzen liegt. Maryvonne hat am ersten Tag mit Auto 30-40 min. Führung in der Gegend gemacht und alles erklärt - in welchem Restaurant das Essen gut ist, wo man leckere Cocktails bekommt und sogar Zeit genommen, um einzukaufen. Am ersten Tag, da wir früh ankammen, wurde uns ein Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt, wo wir uns einpaar Stunden erhollen konnten bis unser Zimmer fertig war, was wirklich Gold wert ist. Nicht zu vergessen netten Haushelfer Leandro und Nimasha, die stehts bereit waren zu helfen. Das war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Шикарные, новые, большие апартаменты, с огромной удобной кроватью, с большой кухней, в которой есть все необходимое и даже больше, с потрясающим видом! Чистый красивый бассейн, вся вилла оформлена с большим вкусом и любовью, функциональная, все продумано до мелочей, для удобства гостей! Отдельная благодарность невероятным хозяевам Maryvonne и Georges!!!! Встретили нас, все про апартаменты и виллу рассказали, показали, подарили корзину с фруктами и приветственный набор для завтрака! Отдельная благодарность за невероятно вкусные ужины, приятные знакомства, беседы) нам повезло посетить даже 2 ужина) за время нашего пребывания! Такого гостеприимства мы не встретили больше нигде, хотя жили еще в 2 местах на острове! Мы арендовали авто, машину можно арендовать у самих хозяев, также они помогут с любой экскурсией и встречей в аэропорту! Очень удобное расположение, недалеко до пляжа, магазинов, ресторанов, даже казино) но в тоже время нет шума и самое главное очень безопасно. Все фото соответствуют реальности. Мы остались в полном восторге, с довольствием вернемся!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment on Mahé. The sea view was fantastic, and thanks to a shortcut it was only a 5–10 minute walk to the beach—very manageable even in my last trimester of pregnancy. We felt very comfortable, as the accommodation had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a large bathroom. The spacious balcony was perfect for doing workouts, and the pool was clean and great for relaxing and swimming. The bed was the most comfortable we had during our entire stay in the Seychelles. What really made our stay special was the hospitality of the owner, Maryvonne. She is a truly special person who gave us great tips for activities on the island. We really appreciated her and she made our stay even more memorable. We would definitely come back and couldn’t imagine a better, cozier place to relax. It’s also very close to Beau Vallon Beach, where you’ll find many shops, takeaways, and restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was La Perle Noire.

Это самый лучшие апартаменты на Сейшелах с прекрасным Видом на океан. Но главное сокровище этого места — прекрасные хозяева. Они окружили нас такой заботой и душевным теплом, будто мы не гости, а долгожданные родственники. Спасибо за сказку!

Нам очень понравилось гостеприимство принимающей стороны, отдельное спасибо и привет Maryvonne! Вилла отличная с шикарным видом на море, теплый прием, нам положили стартовый набор продуктов и фруктов в номер, это было максимально приятно! Бо Валлон отличное место, пусть многие скажут что оно "туристическое", но зато всё есть - магазины, кафе, прекрасная тропа и пляж Ans Major совсем близко.

The locking of the entrance door to the upper apartments. This would have to be unlocked with a key in the event of an emergency. I did discuss this with the owners & they understood my concerns.

We zijn hartelijk ontvangen. Dezelfde avond mochten we al aanschuiven voor een lekkere Creoolse maaltijd. Heel gezellig met Maryvonne en George, ook de andere gasten aten mee. Heel gemoedelijk! Het appartement is netjes en heel mooi gelegen. Er is een korte weg naar het strand voor te voet te doen,de terugkeer vanaf het strand is wel bergopwaarts maar wel te doen. Bij aankomst maakt Maryvonne een rondje met de auto voor je een wegwijs te maken. In de omgeving zijn leuke dingen te beleven. Dus niet twijfelen gewoon boeken!

Amazing hosts - showed us around, shared recommendations, prepared welcome snacks. We stayed for 6 days, and one evening they organized a free Creolean dinner with some amazing home-made food. The apartment is spacious, the view from the balcony is great. The swimming pool is very clean, they give beach towels, the outside area also has a barbecue grill. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bed is comfy, the shower is also really good. The Wifi was very good for Seychelles, I was having Teams calls without problems.

We forgot to tell that the toaster's side handle doesn't work, you have to hold it down and wait while toasting, but that wasn't a big problem :)

Hosts and staff were very friendly and communicative, always in touch and ready to help us anytime (they even took us up to the apartments and at the end of the vacation to the airport) The host also showed us surroundings and gave some recommendations about the cheapest and tastiest places to eat. Now about territory. The apartments are located on the high point, so there is a wonderful view from the balcony. All the rooms are spacious and clean, and the kitchen is provided with all the necessary tools of great quality. Outside, apartments are adorned with trimmed trees and plants and there is a tidy swimming pool that was cleaned by the staff about twice a week. As for the road to the apartments, it's not that steep so you can easily get there. Speaking about entertainment, 10 minutes from the apartments there is a perfect beach Beau Vallon. Stores are quite near too.

- living room can be a bit hot (no AC there) - sofa's in living room are not comfortable at all those were the ONLY things I can think of :) those are tiny details and you don't really come to Seychelles to sit on sofa and spend time in living room

From the very first moment, you don’t feel like a tourist here, you feel like a truly welcome guest. Upon arrival, Maryvonne greeted us with a refreshing coconut, which was perfect after the journey, and then even drove us around the area, showing us the main spots and a short path to the beach (just a 5-minute walk!). We’ve never experienced this level of care anywhere else. It was also such a nice touch to find a starter set in the fridge: water, eggs, bread, butter, and cheese. It may seem small, but it really makes you feel at home right away. Since we didn’t rent a car, the hosts helped us a lot with getting around, they took us to the trail and to Intendance Beach, and on the way Georges gave us a mini island tour. It wasn’t just a ride, it was an experience in itself, very warm and genuinely interesting. They also gave us plenty of great recommendations for excursions and restaurants, all of which turned out to be excellent. A special highlight was the Creole dinners. We were lucky enough to attend twice, and it became one of the most memorable parts of our trip. A truly home-like atmosphere, incredibly delicious food, and a chance to discover Creole cuisine from the inside. The apartments themselves are perfect: brand new, spotlessly clean, very cozy, and thoughtfully designed down to every detail. And the ocean view from the balcony is simply breathtaking. But what stands out the most is the people. When our return flight was changed, the hosts kindly allowed us to stay longer, which meant a lot to us. And their assistants, Nimashi and Layandro, are just wonderful, always smiling, always ready to help, and genuinely kind. They even saw us off at 5 a.m., which was incredibly touching. Honestly, we never expected to meet such warm and genuine people. We are still impressed, throughout our stay, we truly felt at home. I visited three islands, but this place was my favorite by far.
And I’m already planning my next trip, and I know exactly where I’ll stay.

From the moment we arrived we were treated perfectly! The owner and the staff were amazing and kind. We had the master bedroom on the top floor, which was spacious, clean and well equipped. Maryvonne helped us with everything- and they even hosted a dinner for the guests with authentic creol food. The pool is great, the beach is just a few minutes away on foot. We will definitely be back :)

L’accueil de Maryvonne exceptionnel qui prend le temps de vous embarquer avec elle pour vous faire découvrir les alentours et les raccourcis. Qui avec son mari organisent un repas (dîner) avec les convives présentes. Qui fait en sorte que vous ayez le minimum dans le frigo à l’arrivée . Un cœur comme ça vraiment 🥰. La maison est sublime la piscines et les équipe ts sont neufs propres …. Tout est si parfait….

Unser achttägiger Aufenthalt auf den Seychellen – genauer gesagt auf der Insel Mahé – war einfach traumhaft und wird uns noch lange in wunderbarer Erinnerung bleiben. Wir durften eine wunderschöne Penthousewohnung mit atemberaubendem Meerblick bewohnen. Schon beim ersten Betreten waren wir begeistert: Die Wohnung war in einem hervorragenden, äußerst sauberen Zustand und ließ wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Besonders die ruhige Lage hat uns beeindruckt – fernab vom Trubel konnten wir die entspannte Atmosphäre und die Natur in vollen Zügen genießen. Der Empfang durch die Besitzerin sowie die beiden „guten Geister“ des Hauses war außergewöhnlich herzlich. Man fühlte sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens aufgehoben. Die Besitzerin nahm sich viel Zeit, uns alles in der Wohnung ausführlich zu erklären, sodass wir uns sofort zurechtfanden. Ein besonderes Highlight war die etwa 30-minütige Rundfahrt kurz nach unserer Ankunft. Die Besitzerin zeigte uns persönlich Wandermöglichkeiten, empfehlenswerte Restaurants, Supermärkte und viele weitere nützliche Orte. Diese liebevolle Einführung hat uns den Start in den Urlaub enorm erleichtert und uns das Gefühl gegeben, nicht nur Gäste, sondern herzlich willkommen zu sein. Ein weiteres unvergessliches Erlebnis war das wöchentliche Buffet, zu dem uns das Besitzerehepaar gemeinsam mit den anderen Gästen einlud. In einer sehr angenehmen, familiären Atmosphäre durften wir köstliche Speisen genießen und nette Gespräche führen. Das Essen war hervorragend und mit viel Liebe zubereitet – ein Abend voller Genuss und Herzlichkeit. Alles in allem war es ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt. Die Kombination aus traumhafter Unterkunft, außergewöhnlicher Gastfreundschaft und der einzigartigen Schönheit der Seychellen hat diese Reise für uns zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft von Herzen weiterempfehlen.

Two words - incredible experience! This was our first time visiting the Seychelles, and the local hospitality began even before we arrived. After a brief conversation, the hosts helped us book a car, which was delivered to the airport right on time. We received a very warm welcome with fresh coconuts and papaya. Maryvonne, the owner of the appartments, even took us on a short car tour of the neighborhood, pointing out shops and local infrastructure with her personal recommendations. The fridge was stocked with "welcome" groceries for a delicious breakfast. The property is impeccably maintained: there’s comfortable parking, nice swimming pool with sun loungers and good view, an outdoor shower, a BBQ area (summer kitchen), and tables. The panoramic ocean view is simply breathtaking! The rooms are brand new! They feature modern furniture, a large kitchen fully equipped with everything you might need, big bed, air conditioning, a capsule coffee machine (it was amazing! :), a large digital TV, a drying rack, and even a washing machine! We leaved in the penthouse but all rooms have a nice view and big balcony which is even good for morning yoga. The hosts, Maryvonne and George, are incredibly welcoming and kind-hearted people. One evening, they organized a stunning dinner for us and other guests. Delicious Creole cuisine, soulful conversations, and pleasant company—it was wonderful! If you choose to stay at these apartments, I guarantee you will be delighted. The memories of the time spent here will stay in your heart forever. I hope one day will come here again ❤️

Unser Aufenthalt im Doffay Seaview war einfach außergewöhnlich und wird uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir von Maryvonne & Georges unglaublich herzlich empfangen. Man fühlt sich hier nicht wie ein gewöhnlicher Gast, sondern eher wie ein willkommener Freund. Beide sind außergewöhnliche Gastgeber, die sich mit viel Aufmerksamkeit, Herzlichkeit und persönlichen Empfehlungen um ihre Gäste kümmern. Das Apartment ist wunderschön, sehr hochwertig ausgestattet, absolut sauber und bietet einen traumhaften Meerblick. Die ruhige Lage oberhalb von Beau Vallon ist perfekt — Strand, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind dennoch schnell erreichbar. Auch der Pool ist hervorragend gepflegt und ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen mit Blick aufs Meer. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das ausgesprochen freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Teil eines gemeinsamen Abendessens sein zu dürfen, war für uns ein echtes Highlight. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet — wir haben während unseres Aufenthalts viele Restaurants auf den Seychellen ausprobiert, aber Maryvonne & Georges können wirklich hervorragend kochen. Ganz ehrlich: Die beiden sollten eigentlich ein eigenes Restaurant eröffnen! Vielen Dank nochmals für eure außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft und dafür, dass ihr unseren Aufenthalt so besonders gemacht habt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. This place is run by one of the friendliest hosts we’ve ever had. They gave us a tour of the surroundings upon arrival & welcome drinks. We were invited to a free dinner during our stay to sample their home cooked meals which was amazing. The rooms are beautiful, well equipped and perfectly clean. Don’t hesitate to book here!

The sofa’s in the living room aren’t really comfortable.

Very great accommodation. Super clean, pleasant service, super comfortable bed, impeccable cleanliness in both the room and the pool area. Extremely helpful staff. If you go on foot, you can use shortcuts, the beach, restaurants, shops are all within a short walk. It is very rare to find such clean accommodation.

I can't name anything, everything was very pleasant

The apartment was perfect! Very nice, very spacious, clean, with a very well equipped kitchen and an extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom was luxurious, also very clean. The view from the terrace was magnificent, we could see all of Beau Vallon. The pool was big and we felt like it was our own private pool. The distance to Beau Vallon beach was a maximum of 5-10 minutes, as were the shops. Maryvonne and George were very polite, friendly and helpful. They organized a dinner for us all one evening, with home-cooked food (and free!). It was an amazing experience! We would definitely come back!

Отличный апартамент с видом на океан ,прекрасным бассейном и зоной барбекю!Мы провели прекрасные 8 ночей.Доброжелательный персонал и очень приятная хозяйка,которая не оставит вас без внимания !Номера чистые,местоположение отличное ,мы арендовали авто ,но в пешей доступности магазин с отличным ассортиментом и близко вся инфраструктура!При заселении нас угостили авокадо и папайей ,а также яйца,сыр,молоко и хлеб!😀В номере есть все для комфортного проживания ,кухня полностью укомплектована ,стиральная машинка ,рисоварка,кофе машина и т д есть все )!

We had a wonderful stay at this place, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning, overlooking both the pool and the ocean. The property is very well maintained, clean, and clearly cared for with great attention to detail. Our apartment was spacious and included a small kitchen, which was very convenient and allowed us to cook for ourselves from time to time. The location is excellent. There is a shortcut that leads quickly to the beach, and several restaurants can be reached on foot within about 10-15 minutes. The staff, Nimashi and Layandro, were incredibly attentive and helpful. Always asking if there was anything they could do to make our stay more comfortable. What truly made this stay very special, however, were the owners Maryvonne and Georges. They went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely welcome. On our very first day, the host prepared an authentic Creole dinner for us and the other guests - completely free of charge. There was freshly prepared fish, octopus curry, sweet potatoes, and other local dishes. The food was absolutely delicious and gave us an amazing introduction to the local cuisine. Maryvonne also took the time to give us a small tour of the area, showing us important places such as supermarkets, restaurants, and the best way to get to the beach. She even drove us to the start of a hiking trail and helped organize transportation whenever needed - all of this without charging anything. She also surprised my girlfriend, who had her birthday during our stay, by organizing a birthday cake. Additionally, the owners offered excursions at very fair prices, much better than what we saw elsewhere. They helped us with everything and made traveling around the island so easy. Even though the weather during our stay was not perfect, the warmth, generosity, and hospitality of the owners and staff truly brightened our days.

This place felt like home because it was originally Maryvonne and George’s own house, and you can really feel the warmth in it. The location is great, only about a 5-minute walk from the beach. Maryvonne was incredibly helpful and guided us through almost everything on the island. She helped us plan activities, saved us money by connecting us with the right people, and made everything easy and stress-free. She and George even took us around the island, showed us the city, and treated us to lunch during the trip. One evening, they also invited us for a homemade seafood dinner, purely out of kindness. On a more personal level, when I told Maryvonne that I had cancer and that I drink soursop leaf tea, she immediately went out of her way to find the leaves for me the very same day so I could travel with them. That meant a lot to me. Their hospitality was genuine, honest, and from the heart. They were truly the best hosts I’ve ever had in all my years of traveling, and if I ever return to the island, I wouldn’t think twice about staying with them again.

Maryvonne und Georges waren extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns vom Flughafen abgeholt, uns die Umgebung (Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants etc.) gezeigt. Sie haben für uns ein kreolisches Nachtessen gekocht, das ausgezeichnet war. Die Sauberkeit der Wohnung was aussergewöhnlich und nicht zu übertreffen. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, was wichtig ist in den Ferien. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns sofort erfüllt. Auch Nimashi und Layandro, welche zu den Wohnungen schauen sind extrem hilfsbereit und machen einen super Job. Maryvonne und Georges haben uns auf den Seychellen ein Zuhause gegeben, wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt im d'Offay Seaview. Wir kommen wieder :-)

The hosts are just out of this world !!! ✨ They take you to a tour of the town to introduce you to the city, you will have snacks and fruits waiting for you at your arrival as well as breakfast stuff in the refridgerator, they will make you a very special dinner once a week etc… can you even imagine that??? 10/10 . They run the D’offey car rental also and we were super pleased also with our cute Suzuki Jimmy 😍

The host and staff are amazing. They were so welcoming upon our arrival. They waited for us despite our delay. They even took us for a tour of the area and provided some really good recommendations on restaurants, bars and tours. The apartment was spacious and very well ventilated. There is an air conditioner in the main room which’s helps a lot. The fan in the dining room or lounge was also a great help. The bathroom and shower is very clean. The facilities are great in terms of the pool. The host even went above and beyond and provided us with some fruits, bread and eggs. We truely grateful for the generosity and kindness of the host and their staff. Thank you for the amazing experience.

There is not really that much that’s bad. If I have to be extremely picky, I would recommend changing the dining room/ lounge coaches and it’s not that comfortable.

I'm so very glad I chose this place! From the moment I booked until the final check-out, it was perfect. Maryvonne, kindly offered a ride from the ferry to the apartments. She gave me information along the ride, checked me in with a welcome coconut water. My bags were carried up to my room and everything was explained. The room is spacious, fully equipped kitchen, and a gorgeous view of the pool and the ocean. Maryvonne then drove me to show me nearby places to eat, hike, swim, and get groceries. She helped me reserve a rental car as well. The property is beautiful, clean, and peaceful. It's an easy walk down to a wonderful beach with many restaurants and bars. I'm so glad I stayed in this part of Mahe. There are beautiful beaches a drive away, but it was always nice to come back to D'Offay Seaview. I also loved both my morning and evening swim in the beautiful pool. Maryvonne and her staff go above and beyond to make this feel like a five-star hotel. When you arrive, the fridge has water, butter, bread, papaya, eggs, and cheese! And finally, the AMAZING dinner hosted by her and her husband. It was wonderful to meet the other guests at dinner; we all ended up hanging out afterwards as well. It felt like being with close friends. I will 100 percent stay here next time I go to Mahe and highly recommend you book now, before it's no longer available.

Tolle Lage, traumhafte Aussicht, grosszügige Raumaufteilung, sehr motiviertes und hezliches Team. BBQ-Grill vorort😋. Wir waren 3 Nächte hier und haben die Aussicht genossen. Gut sortierter Supermark ca. 2 Min. mit dem Auto entfernt. Optimale Ausganslage um die Insel zu erkunden. Begehrter und wunderschöner Beau Vallon Strand fussläufig in ca. 12 Min. gut erreichbar.

Schon bei der Abholung durch Maryvone und George fing eine tolle Woche an. Auf der Fahrt zum Appartement lernte man sich kennen und erhielten auch gleich erste Informationen über die Insel und Gebäude. Beim Appartement angekommen waren wir dann begeistert über den Ausblick vom großen Balkon und auch über Ausstattung und Zustand des Appartements -alles wie neu und sehr gepflegt. Maryvone nahm sich dann gleich die Zeit, und machte in ihrem Jeep eine Rundfahrt zum Strand, zu den Restaurants und Geschäften und gab einige Empfehlungen. Dann ging Sie mit uns noch in den nahegelegenen kleinen Supermarkt. Das Appartement ist modern und neuwertig eingerichtet und auch sehr gepflegt. Maryvone und George hatten sich die Zeit genommen, mit uns eine private Tagestour rund um die Insel und quer durch die Insel auszuführen Beide haben uns viel erklärt, besondere Orte gezeigt, auch ein typisches Mittagessen in einem kleinen Restaurant am Strand und einen Badestopp hat es gegeben. An einem anderen Tag hat Maryvone uns zum Eingang des Anse Major Hiking Track gebracht. An einem Abend hatten beide gekocht und alle Gäste zum Abendessen eingeladen. Es hat hervorragend geschmeckt und es war ein sehr netter Abend zusammen. Maryvone und George sind zwei herzliche Menschen, die die Seychellen lieben und immer für die Gäste da sind. Nicht zu vergessen sind Nimashi und Layandro, die immer freundlich und zuvorkommend waren und immer ein Auge auf die Gäste hatten. Wir können, wie die vielen anderen auch, wärmstens empfehlen, für einen außergewöhnlichen Aufenthalt auf Mahe ein Appartement bei Maryvone und George zu buchen. Wir werden es auf jeden Fall wieder tun.

Très bon emplacement, appartement très grand et très équipé, la terrasse avec vue sur mer et la piscine sont impeccable, et surtout la gentillesse et la bienveillance des hôtes.

GEHEIMTIP, BESSER GEHT NICHT. Wir haben 7 Nächte in dem traumhaften Apartment verbracht. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Bilder entsprechen dem, was wir auch vorgefunden haben. Das Apartment ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, super sauber, Betten bequem, Küchenausstattung perfekt, Waschmaschine, Bügeleisen, Wäscheständer. Die Klimaanlage ist goldwert, so wie die Ventilatoren. Der Pool ist sehr gepflegt, Wasserqualität 1A, genug Liegen, sogar noch mal extra ein Kühlschrank, um die Getränke am Pool kalt zu halten, mit Geschirr usw.. Handtücher für Liegen/Strand, werden gestellt und gewechselt. Zum Strand kommt man, wer möchte, über eine Abkürzung. Zur Mitte des Strandes, wo etwas mehr los ist, Essen/Trinken, benötigt man gemütliches Gehen ca: 20 Minuten. Wenn es heiß ist, ganz schön anstrengend und es gibt oft keine Bürgersteige. Wir haben uns soäter ein Auto gemietet (Tag 50,- Euro) und im Linksverkehr die Insel erobert. Die Gastgeber und das Personal sind mega nett. Man bekommt jede Menge Informationen und am ersten Tag hat Sie uns alles mit dem Auto gezeigt, damit man sich in der Umgebung zu recht findet. Wenn das kein Service ist. Wir wurden sogar, mit den anderen Bewohnern, zu einem kreolischen, selbgekochten Buffet überrascht. Für die schöne Zeit einfach noch mal Danke.

Everything you read on the reviews about Maryvonne and George is true! They, together with their staff Namishi and Layandro go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. We arrived much earlier than the check in time provided. After our long flight Maryvonne made sure that she had a room available for us where we can rest and freshen up until our apartment was ready. We received a welcome coconut and to add to the special service she drove us around the area so we had a feel of where we are, providing tips of where to eat, snorkel and have a cocktail. This is an exceptional service. In addition to this Maryvonne and George took us ok a hike to a beautiful secluded beach. George cooked an amazing creole dinner on our last night and when I was sick Maryvonne and the staff were attentive and sharing tips and tea on how to get better. It’s not easy to explain in a short review how special they all are, so my advice is to just book. The appartement we stayed in was spacious and the shower amazing. We did miss a dishwasher, so I used my husband for washing the dishes 🤣 The pool area is relaxing and another showcase of service is? When you are at the pool Namishi and Layandro provide you with some snacks to enjoy your time there even more.

If we would have to not-pick ( but honestly this is nit-picking) it would be good to know that the accommodation is on a hill. This provides an amazing view, but if you would not have a car it would be a bit challenging to get from and to the apartment.

Náš pobyt byl naprosto skvělý. Majitelé jsou neuvěřitelně milí, ochotní a jejich pohostinnost předčila všechna naše očekávání. Od příjezdu až po odjezd jsme se cítili vítaní a opravdu opečovaní. Dostali jsme od nich ovoce z jejich zahrady a startovací balíček na snídaně. Majitelé nás i pozvali na pravou kreolskou večeři, bylo to moc milé a jídlo vynikající. Ubytování je čisté, pohodlné a má nádherný výhled na oceán, který jsme si užívali každý den. Lokalita je klidná, ideální pro odpočinek, a zároveň blízko všeho, co jsme potřebovali i blízko pláže. Velmi jsme ocenili vybavení kuchyně vč. kávovaru na kapsle Nespresso, velkou lednici i pračku – díky tomu jsme s sebou nemuseli vozit tolik věcí. Všechno je nové v perfektním stavu. Byl to jeden z nejhezčích pobytů, jaké jsme kdy zažili. Rádi se vrátíme a toto ubytování doporučujeme všem, kdo hledají klid, krásné prostředí a skvělý servis.

This was honestly one of the best guesthouse experiences I’ve ever had — and I’ve travelled a lot and stayed in many 5-star hotels. The service here was on another level. The owners really treat you better than most luxury hotels ever could. The rooms were perfect: spotless, spacious, very well-equipped, and cleaned to a really high standard. The whole place is beautiful, with a sparkling clean pool and a lovely house set on a hill with amazing views. They even filled the fridge for us with breakfast, fresh fruit and everything we needed. The location is stunning — peaceful, with great views, and just a short drive down to the beach. Staying here honestly made me fall in love with the Seychelles even more. One of those places you never forget. Highly recommended.

Nice large accommodation with a separate bedroom, livingroom and bathroom. The balcony with the views was lovely and the host provided a fabulous buffet meal one evening for all guests and also some provisions on arrival. The pool and pool area was beautiful and towels were provided.

Service der extra Klasse 👍 ob Mietwagen, Schnorchel - Ausrüstung, Stadtrundfahrt, Wasch-Maschinen Tabs - alles wurde uns besorgt und für uns erledigt - dabei immer mit einer außerordentlichen Freundlichkeit ! Besser geht es nicht. Die Unterkunft ist super sauber, modern und komplett ausgestattet - ich würde auch noch mehr Punkte geben, sofern es möglich wäre. Es war alles grandios !

Die herzliche und liebevolle Art mit der wir von Maryvonne und ihrem Team aufgenommen wurden! Ich muss meine vorhergehende Beurteilung überarbeiten, mir war nicht bewusst, dass es so wenig Punkte werden würden. Denn der ganze Aufenthalt war eine 20/10. Alles war einfach perfekt! Die Lage etwas abseits, aber das war von uns so gewählt und vorher bewusst! Die Aussicht ist dafür atemberaubend! Und wir haben trotzdem alles gut erreicht.

Einfach alles. Im Vorfeld erhielten wir schon Infos. Eine Abholung vom Flughafen wurde angeboten. Marryvonne und George empfingen uns sehr herzlich. Marryvonne nahm sich Zeit um uns gute Adressen für Wanderungen, Strände, takeaways, Restaurants, Bars zu zeigen. Strände zum Schnorcheln usw - wir waren gut informiert. Das Appartement war groß und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es liegt etwas erhöht mit Blick auf den Beau Vallon. Ein junges, äußerst sympathisches Pärchen aus Sri Lanka betreut die Anlage. Besonders schön war dass wir gemeinsam mit den anderen Gästen zu einem Kreolischen Abend eingeladen waren. Die Gerichte waren superlecker.

Maryvonne, Georges et son staff nous ont très bien accueilli pour notre séjour. Nous avons eu des fruits, des œufs, du pain de mie, du beurre et du café afin de faire nos petits déjeuner. Maryvonne nous a fait un tour du quartier pour nous montrer toutes les commodités et accès (plage, supermarché, restaurant et takeway) et nous avons été invité par Maryvonne et Georges à un dîner local avec tous les résidents de la villa. Un grand merci à eux pour leur accueil, nous recommandons fortement leurs logements, très bien situés et très bien entretenu, avec un personnel très gentil.

L’accueil et les petites attentions quotidiennes qui ont rendus notre séjour encore plus agréable. Le logement dispose d’un point de vue magnifique et est parfaitement équipé. Merci à Maryvonne et George pour leur invitation à dîner et nos chaleureux échanges ainsi qu’à leur équipe pour ce séjour. Nous garderons un merveilleux souvenir de Mahé grâce à vous.

Everything was amazing at D'Offay Seaview Apartments and everything you read from reviews is true - they are truly making sure you have a 5 star experience. The cleanliness of the apartment is on point and the kitchen is very well equipped. Maryvonne is very attentive and lovely and will help you out with anything you need. She and George also introduced us to Creole cuisine which was probably the best food we tried on this vacation. Only thing to consider when booking is the longer walk to the Beau Vallon beach (which is also quite long), so I would advise you to rent a car if you don't like walking - that way you'll also be able to see more on the island of Mahe. All in all, you won't regret choosing this accommodation!

Our stay in this apartment was truly a wonderful experience. The place is exceptionally clean, perfectly maintained, and equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay – from kitchen essentials to thoughtful little details. The hosts were kind and attentive, and communication was quick and easy. The location is great too – peaceful, yet close to everything you need.

Wir hatten wundervolle Tage im D’Offay Seaview Apartment. Die Lage ist nicht ganz zentral, aber durch einen Schleichweg ist man schnell am Strand. Großer Dank an die Gastgeber, so freundlich und warmherzig habe ich es noch nirgends erlebt. Das Apartment war sehr sauber und die ganze Anlage Top gepflegt. Vielen Dank auch a die 2 zauberhaften Angestellten, die immer zur Stelle waren. So wünscht man sich einen unvergesslichen Urlaub.

Le personnel est exceptionnel ainsi que le logement était parfait. Maryvonne nous a même fait un tour d’une vingtaine de minutes pour nous faire découvrir les meilleurs restaurants et plages aux alentours. The hosts, Maryvonne and George, the apartment and the location have to be experienced to be believed, Maryvonne and George are the kindest, most attentive hosts we have met in 50 years of travelling the world. Food in the spotless apartment on arrival, the amazing view from the balcony, a mobile phone with local sim card, a list off attractions and restaurants, two excellent Creole dinners worthy of any michelin starred restaurant cooked by George, a trip around the whole coastline of Mahe for a quarter of the price charged by tour operators which included lunch and informative commentary are just a few of the things we can mention. Maryvonne just doesn't know when to stop giving. Advice, recommendations, more free trips into town than we could count, available on the phone any time. The transfers from and to the airport are pennies compared to tour or airport operators even at 06.00 to catch an early flight. Maryvonne and George have a deal with 3 sisters who run a taxi service evenings and weekends in the local area for a flat 125 rupees a trip. 3 amazing and fiercely intelligent girls and a very efficient service. Do yourselves the biggest favour ever and stay at D'Offay Seaview with Maryvonne and George and I will guarantee you will be booking your next stay before you leave. Die Gastgeber Maryvone und Georges sind unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Es gibt sogar die Möglichkeit, für einen deutlich günstigeren Preis als mit dem Taxi abgeholt oder zum Flughafen gebracht zu werden. Obwohl es sich um ein Apartment handelt, ist immer Personal vor Ort – Nimashi und Leandro, die sich um Strand- und Pooltücher, den Müll und vieles andere kümmern – immer superfreundlich und aufmerksam. Die Gastgeber haben uns sogar persönlich herumgefahren und gezeigt, wo man gut essen oder einkaufen kann. An einem Abend haben sie für alle Gäste ein gemeinsames Abendessen zubereitet – völlig kostenlos und mit so viel Herz! Das Apartment selbst ist super ausgestattet, sehr geräumig und bietet eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Insel und das Meer. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Auch geschützte Parkplätze sind vorhanden – und es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, ein Auto zu mieten, um die Insel zu erkunden.

Everything is just perfect. From the moment you arrive you are treated to fantastic hospitality. Maryvonne and her staff take time to show you all the facilities available at the accommodation. They also provide a welcome pack that helps you settle in. Our penthouse had stunning views across Beau Vallon and was equipped to the highest standard. The night sky sunsets are stunning to watch from the beach as is sun rise from the penthouse. All the accommodation hls fitted out to the highest standards. We had a little preview of the 2 bedroom downstairs accommodation and it is absolutely out of this world 🌎. Probably the best we have seen whilst on our travels around the world. After the tour of the property Maryvonne had time to show us Beau Vallon, pointing out good places to eat, shopping areas and the beautiful beach area. You will also receive a detailed list of all the best beaches to visit across the island, as well as bars and restaurants. We decided to hire a car for 2 days which was once again organised by Maryvonne. This allowed us to do a complete tour of the island and visit the numerous fantastic beaches along with a few hours in the capital Victoria. On the second night a super meal was provided by our hosts all cooked by and explained to us by Georges who is very passionate about Creole cuisine. Whilst there it was my wife's birthday, Maryvonne advised and booked our restaurant which was Italian. The food and drinks were very good.

One of the highlights of our stay in the Seychelles! The hosts were amazing and went out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly. From a private neighborhood tour to an unforgettable dinner with all the guests — the homemade food (and the best papayas I’ve had in my life!) completely changed my view on Seychelles cuisine. Absolutely wonderful experience!

The apartments are spacious, spotless, and furnished to a very high standard, and their team keeps everything — including the large pool area — immaculate. One of the highlights of our stay was being invited to dinner, where Georges cooked a delicious Creole meal for us. It was such a lovely evening! Nothing was ever too much trouble for either of them — they even offered us lifts around the area whenever we needed. We also enjoyed a wonderful day trip with Maryvonne and Georges, exploring all the best beaches and sights around Mahé. If you’re staying in Beau Vallon, we can’t recommend Doffay Apartments highly enough. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Exceptional throughout - immaculate building and facilities. Pool is perfect temperature, calming and pure. Views were even better than the photos, only a few minute walk to the out of this world beach of Beau Vallon. We loved everything about the property and the hosts made it even better than we could have hoped for! There’s no where else I’d stay on the island of Mahe. Maryvonne and Georges went above and beyond for us. A stunning meal cooked for the guests and lifts offered locally and further afield if you wish to visit places for a small fee to pay for fuel. Simply, the best! When we dreamed of celebrating our honeymoon we could not have imagined trip this special and it’s all thanks to Doffay Seaview. You can count on this place to fulfil your dreams of a trip of a lifetime - I wish there were hosts like this in every holiday destination! Cannot thank Nimashe and Layandro enough too, nothing too much trouble and the apartment is kept spotless, with it being Self-Catering they will come and change towels/bedding and bins whenever you need it. This was a great touch as you were benefitting from the best of both worlds. We will be back and recommending all our family and friends to stay here in Seychelles.

Top-Ausstattung, sehr sauber, toller Meerblick vom Balkon. Hervorzuheben sind die überaus herzlichen Gastgeber, die immer erreichbar waren und bei Bedarf fast jederzeit auch Taxi gespielt haben. Einen Abend waren wir zu einem kreolischen Abendessen eingeladen und sie haben mit uns eine Inselrundfahrt gemacht, auf der wir viele Highlights von Mahé gesehen haben. Beau Vallon hat auch einen der schönsten und vor allem längeren Strände. Gute Infrastruktur wie Supermärkte und Restaurants.

Etwas auf dem Hügel gelegen, aber über eine Abkürzung gelangt man doch relativ schnell zum Supermarkt und zum Strand.

Maryvonne and Georges are the best hosts you could ever met! Their hospitality, friendliness, and assistance were exceptional, it was more than ideal start of our honeymoon! We have experienced local Creole cuisine when the hosts invited us for Creole dinner in their home, they have also shown us the most interesting places in Beau Vallon and nearby Victoria, recommended activities that we really enjoyed, and went on a hiking trip with us. We felt like a family and already miss them. Moreover, the apartments are fully equipped, and the swimming pool with a view is fantastic! You can easily reach Beau Vallon beach, shops, and restaurants nearby. Maryvonne, Georges, thank you for letting us experience the best of Creole culture, we hope to see you soon! PS. I would rate this place 15 out of 10 if I only could.

Si, comme moi, vous passez des heures à éplucher des centaines d’annonces sur Booking sans savoir quel hébergement choisir, arrêtez vos recherches : vous avez trouvé le meilleur ! Nous avons hésité entre plusieurs logements, mais nous ne regrettons absolument pas notre choix, et ce pour plusieurs raisons. Commençons par l’emplacement. La villa, toute neuve et absolument sublime, est idéalement située : proche des plus belles plages de Mahé, des restaurants, des supermarchés, de Victoria et de l’aéroport. La vue panoramique sur l’océan est splendide et apaisante, surtout au coucher du soleil. Les appartements sont d’une propreté irréprochable, spacieux, décorés avec beaucoup de goût et dotés de matériaux et d’équipements de grande qualité. Vous y trouverez absolument tout le nécessaire pour vous sentir comme à la maison. La machine à laver est un vrai plus ! Le personnel est aux petits soins, attentif et d’une grande gentillesse. Et que dire des hôtes, Maryvonne et Georges… Ce sont des personnes exceptionnelles, d’une humanité et d’une bienveillance rares. J’ai voyagé dans plus de 35 pays, mais je n’ai jamais rencontré d’hôtes aussi chaleureux, généreux et attentionnés. Nous avons vraiment eu l’impression de passer nos vacances en famille. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec de délicieuses noix de coco fraîches. Le soir même, Maryvonne et Georges nous ont invités à un dîner créole. Ce fut un moment magique, durant lequel nous avons découvert la culture seychelloise, échangé sur la vie locale, et goûté aux plats absolument succulents préparés par nos hôtes. Nous avions été globalement très déçus par la nourriture aux Seychelles, mais ce dîner était digne d’un restaurant étoilé Michelin, tant tout était savoureux !

The property was extra clean and tidy, The seaview is out of this world. I was welcomed with some fresh coconut drink with great smiles from the staffs. The living room was spacious, kitchen was clean and modern. The property had all modern appliances and setup. I was so pleased to stay here and I wish i could stay more. This is the best apartment i have booked my whole life. Maryvvone and George were the nicest host i have ever met. From picking us up at the airport in a luxury neat car, to giving us a tour of the whole city at little or no cost, they even helped us in booking for tours at the best prices and took us around to several beaches on the island, Maryvvone took drove us to dinner and would pick us up after dinner. Nous avons adoré séjourner chez Maryvonne et Georges, ils nous ont accueilli "comme à la maison". C'est très rare de découvrir des hôtes aussi avenants, gentils et qui font le maximum pour nous faire découvrir leur belle île. La chambre avec une vue superbe sur la piscine et la côte était top. Nimashi et Layandro ont été aussi à nos petits soins. Super expérience que l'on recommande à tous!

My mother and I spent the last days of our vacation at D‘Offay Seaview and had the greatest time. We booked the penthouse apartment - the view from up the hill is stunning. The apartment is spacious and has everything (and more) you need. The bed was amazing, and the kitchen facilities are top notch. The lovely hosts Maryvonne and George even picked us up from the ferry and the fridge was pre-filled, what a service. It truly felt like being at a family homestay, we were invited for a lovely and delicious creole dinner together with other guests and did a hike to a very nice beach together. The staff Nimashi and her husband anticipate all your needs and wishes in no time (special thanks for the assistance with parking the car). We can 100% recommend staying here - everything as Beau Vallon is closeby, the hosts have tons of recommendations and tips for what to do and where to eat etc. I’d definitely come back to stay with them again when coming back to Seychelles (hopefully soon). We come as guests and left as friends!

El alojamiento está situado en una bonita bahía donde hay de todo y las vistas desde los apartamentos son espectaculares. Los dueños, Maryvonne y George son bellísimas personas al igual que el personal que trabaja allí, Namija y Lyandro, que siempre están atentos a cualquier necesidad que tengan sus huéspedes. Maryvonne y George nos dieron muchos consejos de lugares que visitar e incluso hicimos una excursión con ellos a una playa preciosa y qué decir de la cena típica criolla que preparan para sus huéspedes, todo delicioso, nunca nos habíamos alojado en un lugar donde nos hayamos encontrado este trato tan especial que te hacen sentir como en casa. Si podemos volver a Seychelles alguna vez, sin duda repetiremos en casa de Maryvonne y George 😍

Exceptional stay! The hosts are exceptionally kind, always available and attentive. They never hesitated to accompany us and drive us whenever we needed, which made our stay even more comfortable. George spoiled us with an unforgettable dinner, featuring an absolutely delicious curry chicken. Maryvonne, with her great kindness, gave us valuable advice throughout our stay. The apartment is spacious, clean, fully equipped, and offers a stunning view. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming that we truly felt at home. 😊 We highly recommend staying with them — don’t miss out on such a unique and unforgettable experience. We will gladly come back! Wir empfehlen das D'Offay Seaview Apartment gerne weiter. George und Maryvonne haben uns in ihr Haus herzlich aufgenommen wie gute Freunde, am ersten Tag alles Wichtige in Beau Vallon gezeigt und eine Wanderung mit uns unternommen. Es gab ein köstliches Begrüßungsessen mit kreolischen Spezialitäten. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was den Aufenthalt angenehm macht. Es gibt genug Platz und auf der großen Terrasse einen herrlichen Blick aufs Meer. Wir bekamen wertvolle Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt auf Mahé und wurden mit vielen kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten überrascht. Da gab es die Papayas aus dem eigenen Garten, den Schirm für einen angekündigten Regenschauer, die Schnorchelausrüstung zum Ausleihen und vieles mehr. Die Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit des Paares, unterstützt von Nimaschi und Leandro werden wir in guter Erinnerung behalten.

Maryvonne and Georges are truly some of the kindest hosts I’ve ever met. From pre-check-in to check-out, everything was incredibly convenient, warm, and professional. We had a wonderful stay on Mahé and would 100% choose this apartment again. We were warmly welcomed with fresh fruits and snacks, and even without a rental car, Maryvonne kindly drove us around to explore the area. Georges cooking skills are simply unbeatable—it really felt like coming home. Beau Vallon is a great area to stay in during July and August, as the winds on this side of the island are much calmer. The beach and supermarkets are nearby, but I’d still recommend having a rental car for more flexibility—though Maryvonne might happily help out if you ask nicely. Appartement spacieux, équipé de tout le confort moderne, avec climatisation et grande terrasse donnant sur une belle et grande piscine. Tous les appartements ont une belle vue mer dégagée jusqu'à Beauvallon. Les hôtes Maryvonne et Georges ont été fantastiques, ils nous ont offert un véritable banquet créole. Nous avons passé une soirée charmante et conviviale. Nous avons randonné ensemble et ils nous ont emmené en excursion à travers l'île pour découvrir la culture seychelloise. Ils ont très accueillants et chaleureux.

Die Gastgeber Maryvonne und Georges haben uns dankenswerterweise direkt am Fährhafen empfangen und auf der Fahrt zur Unterkunft bereits viele interessante Informationen über die Seychellen gegeben. Kaum am Apartment angekommen, wurden wir zunächst mit einer frischen Kokosnuss begrüßt bevor uns alles weitere in der Unterkunft und Umgebung bestens gezeigt und erklärt wurde, sodass wir uns vom ersten Moment an bereits sehr willkommen geheißen fühlten. Während der gesamten Zeit waren Maryvonne und Georges immer für uns da, brachten uns, wohin wir wollten, holten uns am Abend jederzeit wieder ab, unternahmen wundervolle Wanderungen und unvergessliche Tagesausflüge mit uns und bereiteten uns an einem Abend sogar ein ausgezeichnetes kreolisches Abendbrot direkt in der Unterkunft vor. Wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Our stay at D’Offay Seaview Apartments was nothing short of extraordinary. It was our honeymoon and our very first time in Seychelles—and thanks to Maryvonne, Georges and their staff, it felt like coming home, only better. From the moment we arrived, their warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail made all the difference. Every aspect—from the pristine cleanliness to their flexibility and incredible service—was exceptional. We genuinely feel lucky to have chosen this place. Even without renting a car, we never felt limited. They generously offered rides around town, shared their local insights, and even invited us to an unforgettable homemade dinner with other guests. Georges made the best octopus curry we’ve ever had (hands down!), and the desserts were just as amazing. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was how personal and genuine it all felt. One review can’t possibly capture how special our time with them was. We will absolutely return to Seychelles—and without question, we’ll be staying at D’Offay Seaview Apartments again.
