Our stay was ok but there was no water when we arrived and we could not flush the toilet we was hungry and thirsty on arrival after a long flight never had any water.

Nathaniel was a very good host, he was aware of our needs and was always very predisposed to everything! The place is very clean!! If I had to go back on vacation to Montego Bay, he would definitely want me at his house again!!

The host was approachable, however based on our experience there and the fact that we lost our money due to a failure on the host’s part to meet basic accommodation expectations, I need to post this candid review for others that may find it helpful. AC was an additional $7.00 a night per room, so not necessarily fair advertising since other venues includes this in the pricing since AC is pretty much a necessity. The apartment was not kept very clean - the bottom of my feet turn black after walking for a few minutes. Hosts lived in during stay, and other guests were booked alongside us. The refrigerator wasn’t cleaned to standards I’ve come to expect based on other bookings and the hosts occupied more than half of the refrigerator leaving one shelf at the bottom for my family and other guests that were booked with us to share. We booked 2 rooms and had kids, the host saw this and said nothing before hand, fully knowing that the fee was eventually non refundable as the booking date approached. We were towards the front of the house, while the kids room was in the back with other adult guests in the house. The house has many rooms and when booking a party with kids the host should make the guests aware of the arrangements and possibly the floor plan. The house has sections that could exist independently, e.g separate kitchen and dining, but for some reason the host has one TV and refrigerator - which they were using while we were there. The other adjoined living room where our main bedroom was had no TV, the kitchen in that section was dirty and refrigerator was unplugged. Also bathroom in the front section wasn’t bad, however the other room beside us in that section was occupied by other guests, so I guess the intent was to have us share a bathroom with strangers. These are some of the things the host should keep in mind. The pool area looked okay, but there was significant amount of sediment in the bottom of the pool looking through the window.

I love and highly recommend this location! its under 10 min from the airport. The view from the pool is absolutely breathtaking.The host Nathan, has a great personality. Very accommodating and very informative! He was there with you every step of the way.. Made sure that my stay was comfortable and very accommodating. He helped with providing transport to the airport for a small fee. I will definitely used this location again. I highly recommend this location.

I did not like that they didn't have curtain the bathroom window. Sharing his frigerator space.. I also recommend having mosquito screens for the entrance doors. Needs a small chair in the room.

Nathaniel the host, was personable and willing to help when requested, e.g. letting us use his phone when we had an issue with our rental car. The villa was really close to the airport, had a great view and a good pool.

The villa was not advertised as a shared property, yet it was shared with another family during our stay. One room was also advertised as having an en-suite, which it did not. Facilities were inadequate for the number of guests. One kitchen was unusable, and the kitchenette had no working cooker, fridge, or light. The side living room was unusable due to very poor lighting and no TV. The main living room TV was dominated by another family, and at one point was removed for two days and placed in the owner’s bedroom without explanation before being returned and again taken over by the other family. There were not enough amenities for the number of people staying. Water pressure was very poor due to overuse. Noise was also an issue, with loud music until 2am one night. If the villa is to be shared, a curfew should be in place. There were serious safety and appropriateness concerns. The owner misplaced marijuana chocolate, which could have been found and eaten by a child. After a late-night party, the owner and his girlfriend’s wet clothes were left by the pool the next morning, suggesting inappropriate behaviour in a shared space, which was noticed by one of our children. A large flip knife was left on a TV stand in the side living room, posing a serious risk, particularly as there was a toddler present. Housekeeping and basic provisions were poor. Only four towels were provided for six people, with no hand towels or kitchen towels. Beds were changed only once in 10 days. Linen changes had to be requested and were not fully provided; clean hand towels and bath mats were never replaced after dirty ones were returned. The shared bathroom and en-suite did not appear clean on arrival and did not seem to be cleaned during the stay. Management and organisation were also lacking. When new guests arrived, the owner was at the beach and current guests had to facilitate their arrival and contact him to return. Overall, sadly the villa is not up to standard.

There wasn't anything particular that stood out about this place

I did not like the fact that we were charged for the use of the AC which was not stated prior to our arrival and the bathroom had nothing in it. Nothing welcoming . It a good thing I packed essentials.. Which generally most airbnb or hotels provide essentials for your stay as the bare minimum especially charging guest so much money

Mein Mann und ich hatten die Unterkunft im Anschluss an eine Mittelamerika-Kreuzfahrt gebucht. Wir wollten den Urlaub in Ruhe ausklingen lassen. Dieses Mal hatten wir kein Auto (wir waren vor der Kreuzfahrt schon ein paar Tage länger auf Jamaica), aber es hat alles bestens funktioniert. Nathanael hat sich rührend um uns gekümmert. Er hat uns am Cruise Terminal abgeholt, ist mit uns kurz einkaufen gefahren, damit wir Getränke vor Ort hatten. An beiden Tagen gab es morgens ein leckeres Frühstück und wir wurden auch wieder zum Flughafen gebracht. Eine Fahrt zu einer Beachlocation machten wir problemlos mit einem Uber. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig und sicher gelegen. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig, aber sehr sauber. Die Klimaanlage kann für 7 US-Dollar/Nacht dazu gebucht werden. Der Pool ist phantastisch und das Wasser war eine herrliche Abkühlung. In dieser Gegend ist ein Mietwagen absolut empfehlenswert. Peaceful Palms ist von unserer Seite absolut empfehlenswert. Man fühlt sich rundherum wohl.

The rooms were big and the pool was a big plus!!! We end up spending hours there. Also the location is great and the staff is super friendly!! Nathaniel was amazing ,always willing to help!! Thank you!!

The location was good and the staff was friendly and accomodating. The room was cool enough for us to use just the ceiling fan. The wifi worked well. The area was quiet and peaceful.

The room was not what I expected. It did not look like the advertised queen room. The ensuite shower floor didn't feel clean. The lighting in the room could be better as well.

Location was perfect after a long flight. The views are amazing over St. James. The host was excellent for a young man. His knowledge and thoughtfulness was excellent.

Very central location, close to the airport. and a minutses from the airport. Love the view of the Caribbean fro. the poolside..... Breathtaking!!! H Nathaniel, our conceige, was super friendly, attentive, and made us experience the :home" feeling.

The shower could’ve been better. Water pressure and hot water. I talked to them about and he showed me he have to manually turn it on which he did but still no hot water it got warm after 20 min but yea. No wash rags had to purchase our selves. No tv in rooms. Only in living room

I booked to stay at this property 3 times over the last 2 weeks while away with my friends, and even though the hurricane had damaged the property the host Nathaniel went above and beyond for us! The place feels like a home from home, really social and welcoming. He went completely out of his way to make sure we had everything we need and I would recommend the place to anyone! Once all the damage is repaired the place will be ideal for groups of friends who want to cook chill and have a few drinks and the beds are so comfy! 10/10 thank you so much again for everything! See you in July!

The accommodation did not match its description. There was a loud party at the property until 2 a.m., and the hosts were actively participating, creating an unsafe environment. The room was also not properly cleaned. Despite reviews stating the property was quiet and peaceful, this was not the case. I reported the issue through Booking.com, but no resolution was provided. Due to the excessive noise and lack of safety, I could not sleep at all. And would like a refund for that.

The staff was great, helpful and I enjoyed the interaction. The place is a work in progress due to hurricane damage.

In spite of everything they make us happy it was not prepared up to standard for staying, but it makes us feel comfortable

La atención, la verdad que de otro nivel, muy pendiente de nosotros durante toda la estadía. Ademas siendo Jamaica un sitio costoso para vacacionar, que te dejen usar la cocina es un lujo, así ahorras unos USD.

I didn’t like that we had to share bathroom, I wish that was outlined when booking. The pool water wasn’t clean.

The room was dusty. They provided an option of a/c or fan, the fan was very dirty, so there wasn't any real option. Unbeknownst to us our space was shared. The other guest apparently did not know either, and barged into our space in the night. Not to mention the dirty pool. Also, the sponge mattress was horrible, it hurt my back, you could feel the bed base. There was too much negativity in this experience. Not to mention I have sinusitis and I couldn't endure the dusty room. We left the next day. This place ruined my 3-day vacation, waste of money, I should be compensated. The only thing the caretakers kept saying is they are not the owners. This must be a side hustle place.

imaginen tener un tio millonario en Montego bay, Jamaica. Y que los invite a su mansion, con piscina, muebles de cuero y mesa de billar practicamente para ustedes solos. Eso se sintio al elegir pasar mi estadia en la casa (mansion) de antonio. Habitaciones comodas y silenciosas, baño dentro del cuarto con agua caliente, dos ventiladores o la opcion de poder elegir aire acondicionado. Una cocina completamente equipada para usarla cuando quisieramos , la sala entera y la terraza con piscina , la cual podiamos usarla bien a las 9 de la mañana como a las 3 de la madrugada. Antonio no solo fue servicial y atento, fue un amigo durante esos dias y te permite vivir la experiencia jamaiquina al cien porciento. Recomiendo este lugar si o si, tanto que si tengo que volver a Jamaica, regresaria sin pensarlo donde Antonio. Cuando vayan tomen una red strip en la terraza mirando el mar por mi, excelente vista.

Podría tener a su perro mejor cuidado, Rocky se veía un poco triste y olvidado.

Peaceful and quiet

We really loved the place, the view is so beautiful. The owner is very friendly and nice. Our daughter liked the swimming pool and we enjoyed it too. We got a lot of tips what to visit and what to see.

The owner is absolutely lovely friendly and funny loved the vibe of the place. It was clean and well maintained. And the pool was just right for a cooling dip.

No place is perfect. The property is undergoing some renovations but once they are finished it’s going to be even better

Everything was trash......walking in the place the main entrance had all sort of old this and material for building. The room was not comfortable and smell funny they said that they don't provide soap.......the room door lock was shaking off you can see the news paper they put in it to try hold it up......the way the place was nasty I didn't even eat there breakfast.......I woke up early and leave b4 it was time to check out

L'hôte est très gentil et arrangeant et à trouvé des solutions pour nous qui n'avions plus de cash avant de reprendre l'avion le lendemain. La vue sur la terrasse avec la piscine et la mer est très jolie. L'établissement est particulièrement propre. Un endroit super et calme si vous avez une voiture. Si vous êtes à pied, ce quartier résidentiel est un peu loin du centre.

Bonne guesthouse pour quelques jours à Montego Bay, proche de l'aéroport. Il n'y a en revanche rien de très intéressant à côté, il faudra forcément avoir une voiture ou prendre un taxi.

The Host Antonio was very friendly and helpfull. The booked room was Not available when we reached. So we got a better room because of the Work in the other bathroom. Kitchen has good Equipment .The place has a Lot of space.

I stayed here 22/2/2025,100% disappointed as my partner and I was so excited to get some away time,so the first thing was 1.Not Being able to locate property 2.The entrance was a very steep hill and parking space very tight,we were told there's a possibility we'd be blocked in,debris was all over in possible parking space. 3.We were then told it was shared restroom,a oversight on our path we must admit, but we never thought that could even be a thing at a semi resort 4.The room had no TV 5.The wifi password was placed on the wall but no password below,we asked and was told we'd have to go all the way to the back to see the password 6.The breakfast offered on site,when we queried about it we were told it would be a waste to make breakfast for just 2 person 7.The fan was very dirty and room very dusty...air conditioner was a additional cost of 7usd while room is full of mosquitoes and windows had to be open to get fresh breeze then along came the scent of weed 8.Bed worn out and sunk with us after being on it a while 9.Other guest noisy and you can easily hear everything around 10.odd odor in bathroom when tiolet is flushed or we took a shower We were not able to sleep throughout the entire night,we wanted to leave but had no where to go at that time.We booked 2 nights but left the following morning. Reached out to host,stated he understood and would get back to us re a refund if even for the night we did not pay for,said he'd get back but calls to him has been unsuccessful, we contemplated whether to write a review or not and we decided others do need to know what their getting into and also the common decency to get back to us and simply even apologize would have been enough

We could not recommend Peaceful Palms enough! Antonio made us feel so welcome, and it felt like being invited into his home and family. Peaceful Palms itself was clean, roomy and in a great location - we had three of us sharing one room and we had plenty of space. Some evenings and mornings we had food at Peaceful Palms, cooked by Antonio and it was all so delicious. The vibe was great - it was great to meet and chat to some of the other guests, but also a great balance of privacy. Without a doubt, the next time we come to Montego Bay we will be staying with Antonio at Peaceful Palms. There’s no better place to stay in Montego Bay!

Antonio and Troy were so accommodating To us. They made sure that we had all the resources we needed to travel around Montego Bay. Troy was So helpful and took us around different areas in Montego Bay that we never would have seen if not for him. We only spent one night there Because I had a late respite coming into Montego. Our reservation was at the Riu the next day. Troy took us there, like 4 mins drive. We had a nice evening the day I came in. Troy took us to 27/27 club which was soooo lit! Antonio gave us tips on how to navigate the area. We talked to him for hours on his experiences and it was like talking to a family member.

The rating of 4.6 on booking.com is super overrated. There was no one to receive us, struggled to find the property, since there was no sign board, struggled to find the actual entrance, just went in kept calling. The place was a mess, with boxes and things scattered, bathroom was supposed to be shared which was a shocker, the owner came in 3 hours after we were pointed at a room by another person. The icing on the sour cake was when the water shut off the next morning. We just packed up and left. Manager was kind enough to drop us off at another hotel. Nice guy, but this place is not ready for rental.

Tolle Unterkunft! Die Lage ist super in einer sicheren, schönen Umgebung nicht weit von Supermärkten! Das Zimmer und Gemeinschaftsbad waren sauber, Personal total nett und der Außenbereich mit Pool fantastisch! Wir kommen am Ende unserer Reise gerne wieder! Vielen Dank!

Het is een schoon en comfortabel verblijf. De gastheer heeft ons warm ontvangen en heeft er alles aan gedaan om ons verblijf prettig te laten verlopen.

I really enjoyed staying at Peaceful Palms. Antonio was an extremely friendly and kind host. I did not have to hang around waiting for the delivery of my missing bag which was helpful. He also offers a taxi service and meals as long as the requests are made in advance. The view toward the sea was lovely. The pool area had tables and chairs and there were also comfy couches, and a large dining table inside. The kitchen was available for food prep. The bed was comfortable in a spacious room. It was a relatively easy 25 minute walk to the local shopping centre (Whitter Mall) which had a very well-stocked grocery store as well as several restos. I took a tour with Chukka Carribean Adventures and their pick up point was across the road from the mall. The next time I am in Montego Bay, I will stay at Peaceful Palms.

The environment was great, as the name suggest Peaceful... Tge Huge Palm tree loomed across from the pool and had a calming ,cool effect.... The room was comfortable, lovely view. The Host was kind and accomodating

La propreté, la maison était impeccable, la gentillesse de l'hôte, la proximité avec l'aéroport et la piscine.

Le fait que la salle de bain est partagée, n'est à mon sens pas suffisamment mis en avant. Nous ne l'avions pas vu et si nous avions su nous aurions choisi un autre hébergement. C'est difficile de s'organiser lorsque la salle de bain est occupée toute la matinée et qu'on doit partir à heure exacte pour l'aéroport. Le fait que la climatisation soit payante ( ce n'était pas indiqué de manière suffisamment claire sur l'annonce) et payable uniquement en cash. Nous n'avions pas de cash et avons donc eu chaud la nuit. Le fait qu'aucun savon gel douche ou shampoing ne soit fourni, ce n'est vraiment pas pratique. Chambre trop petite
