The property itself was beautiful, such a picturesque location, and amazing amenities. Staff were incredibly kind and caring.

No socialisation , no planned activities, very secluded, big hill that makes it hard to access, on top of that it’s really far from everything. There is no hot water (which is fine, but I would prefer to have known that prior to making my booking).

Super comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff and stunning location. The view is breathtaking. The architecture of the place is super chic and has such a hood look to it.

Gorgeous views and the staff were great. The pool was amazing.

We had an issue with an animal chewing through our bags in the lockers as they are on the floor but when the staff were informed they immediately set traps and dealt with it well. The showers weren’t great but the rest was good!

Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice staff. Can book tours and hire scooters from them.

Toilet doors didn’t lock at all. There is zero vibe at the hostel so it is not a place to chill. Sometimes there is no one at reception. Not sociable at all. The hostel is up a super rocky and steep hill - I wouldn’t advise riding a scooter up there.

La limpieza, sin duda. Saqué mi maleta del pequeño locker y aparecieron pelusas y pelos. El desayuno extremadamente escueto. Yo tuve que irme fuera porque con lo que me servían me quedaba con hambre.

Okay room. Very close to yellow bridge pier around 10 minute walk. Staff good helped us to arrange manta ray snorkelling trip. Also helped us to book ferry back to Sanur for a good price. Nice shower just needed to run for a little while to get warm.

Very big hill to get to property. Limited options nearby so definelty need a scooter to get around however roads leading up to it are awful so very dangerous. Says included brekfasr but options was just pancakes, I can’t eat them so my partner asked if anything was available they said no.

Superbe Hostel! Chambre en dortoir de qualité. La piscine est originale même si elle n’était pas utilisable pendant mon séjour. Vue sympa. Le personnel nous a aider à booké notre bateau avec beaucoup de bienveillance. Je recommande

INCROYABLE j'ai fais un mois en Indonésie je pense que cest le meilleur hostel que j'ai fais. Le réveil avec une vue splendide est juste à couper le souffle. C'est hyper calme. Le staff est gentil et toujours là pour vous aider. La location de scooter se fait facilement. (Attention les routes ne sont pas de très bonnes qualités) Le petit déj était bon !

Breakfast banana crepes were DELICIOUS, beautiful space. On quiet side of Lembongan but still easy to get taxi to main resturants etc.Balcony/Terrace shared area was beautiful, especially at night.

Schoon bed, lag erg lekker. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Lekker ontbijt: bananen pannenkoek met watermeloen. Prachtig uitzicht.

Het zwembad was groen en dus niet bruikbaar helaas. Jammer als je specifiek iets boekt met een zwembad. De badkamer rook erg muf, geen goede ventilatie. Je betaalt niet veel voor een privékamer met airco, dus je moet ook niet echt luxe verwachten. Het was net voldoende.

I loved my stay in Bong Hostel, it’s really quiet, clean and has nice facilities! I’ll come back for sure

Das Hostel ist ohne Roller schlecht zu erreichen und der Weg ist, wie auf der gesamten Insel, etwas abenteuerlich.

The beds and dorms were nothing like I’ve seen before. Super private and spacious. The pool and view is to die for and even tho you are on the other side of the island they have bikes to rent for very cheap.

There was nothing in particular that I can think of being bad. I would stay forever if I could.

I loved everything about the stay. The view from the rooms and the whole hostel building is amazing. We got fresh cooked breakfast every day and all people were super friendly. If I visit Nusa Lembongan again one day I'll definitely stay at Bong Hostel again.

The host organized a taxi and the ferry/speed boat for us, but due to miscommunication and delay of the taxi, we almost missed our ferry. However, in the end we still catched our booked ferry/speed boat.

This second review is due to the extension of our stay at Bong Hostel, as we liked the island and the hostel a lot. The beds are comfortable, have an amazing view and everyone was super friendly and welcoming.

Super lieve hostel host, die graag meedenkt en goede tips heeft. Je kan daar een scooter huren voor goede prijs en ook via het hostel voor een goede prijs boottickets regelen. Iedere ochtend banana pancakes met watermeloen, vers en met liefde bereid. Prachtig uitzicht, en een fijne gezamenlijke ruimte waar je makkelijk andere reizigers kan ontmoeten.

De deuren van de douche en wc konden dicht, maar niet echt op slot. Ik hield daar liever m’n slippers aan, niet meest hygiënisch.

The staff were amazing, so friendly & helpful, I forgot the female staff name but she honestly went above & beyond for me and the other guests, I really appreciated that Good WiFi, stunning views, I’m a light sleeper but managed to get a good night sleep in the bunk rooms, there’s a cheeky puppy there called Bolo

Out of all the hostels in stayed at in Indonesia, Bong Hostel secures one of the top spots! The view from your bed will be the nicest surprise, and the design itself is very creative and simply beauuuutiful. Best of all, the hostel staff are FABULOUS! I loved spending time with them and chatting to them for hours. Truly felt like a little home!

Great location with very nice individual capsules to stay in. Staff were very friendly and able to drive us to the north of the island on scooters. Breakfast was included and was freshly made pancakes with watermelon which was lovely. A beautiful common area with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean.

Such a great experience at Bong Hostel, it was so beautiful with all the bunks having a view of the ocean and the staff was so helpful!

Breakfast included is every morning fresh baked pancakes with either Nutella or Peanut butter and some watermelon on the side. The view here is to die for, so beautifull! Every morning i woke up, I could see and hear the ocean from my cabin, they also have a cute little puppy named Bollo. The road to the hostel is a bit steep but the view and the hostel itself really makes up for it! I also had a massage on the premises of the hostel and this was the best massage i've ever had. If you still hesitate on booking, just do it, you will not regret it! All of this and for only 10 euro a night including breakfast, amazing!!

The hostel is located on top of a foothill and can be challenging to access by bike but the views are breathtaking. Breakfast was delicious (banana pancakes with peanut butter/nutella and watermelon). Staff was very helpful in teaching me how to ride a scooter for the first time (you need a scooter to get around the island). The beds were very comfy and have an spectacular view of the bay in the morning

The hostel has everything to be the best in Lembongan but it’s not there yet. There was often issues with no running water and no staff in the early hours of the evening or early morning should you need to discuss something or check out. There’s no activities in the hostel and tours are overpriced.

The staff are very friendly, the beds are quite comfortable, and the towels and sheets are clean. The property is also just a 5-minute walk from the beach.

The property is a bit older than it appears in the photos. The outdoor furniture (seats and bean bags) is quite worn, dirty, and uncomfortable, so there isn’t really a good common area to relax apart from your box/bed. Breakfast is very minimal—just two pancakes. The natural pool also looks a bit dirty and not very inviting.

The light in bathroom was broke and because it was evening both staff can fix that. So we took shower in the dark The lactation was terrible far away from everything. I rent a motor bike the first day 6pm returned it the next day 1pm they charged me two days price

Amazing panoramic views over the sea. Quiet location, felt more like a health retreat. Beautiful setting in lots of trees.

Very steep narrow track from the road up to the hostel. Not a nice walk in the dark as no lights. You really need a scooter as quite far from the town. Not easy if you have any mobility issues as hostel also has steep stairs up to the rooms.

I stayed 3 nights in this hostel. I really loved it, the staff are lovely and very helpful. And the dorm beds have an incredible view. If I were to return to Nusa lembongan I would definitely stay here again !

If you have an urgent issue in the evening you are pretty much stuck and it gets solved the earliest in the morning during operating hours. Felt quite empty.

One of the best hostels I ever was able to enjoy: Great architecture, bunk bed with seaview, pool, breakfast included as well as an incredible staff and owners -> My personal highlight: The possibility to join yearly Hindu ceremony for the hostel! :)

Loved everything

Gorgeous location. Easy with scoopy but also easy to walk from yellow bridge area, the steep bit is very short. You get incredible views from the bed in most of the rooms. The staff were fantastic, smiley and helpful. Extremely good value for money. Cool clean pool. Tasty breakfast!

Make sure you ask for the room with the views at your head, not your feet! 👣 I had no issues due to helpfulness of the staff.

My stay at this hostel was truly memorable. Waking up to the breathtaking view from the bed was amazing, the rooms were spotless, and the terrace was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some time outdoors.

The language barrier made organizing things quite challenging, as the staff doesn't speak English. Additionally, they offered an overpriced ride to a restaurant that was just five minutes away, which felt disrespectful. I didn't appreciate the feeling that they were trying to overcharge us.

The location was on a quiet road and we didn’t feel like we were in the main part of it but if you’re wanting a quiet stay, this would be perfect for you.
