Eten was heerlijk en een mooie locatie, alleen je moet wel vervoer hebben maar dat kunnen ze regelen voor je.

Izba bola krásna a čistá. Personál bol veľmi milý a nápomocný. Bola som s nimi dokonca na ceremónii na blízkej hore, kde sme spali v stane a zažila som pravú atmosféru ich kultúry a obradov. Bol to nezabudnuteľný zážitok. Prostredie Mesari Cottage je nádherné a pokojné. uprostred rýžových polí. Nádherný zážitok z pobytu aj výletu na horu s ceremóniou.

Интересный домик на сваях, очень приятная хозяйка, очень красивый сад. Очень хорошее, спокойное место. Вокруг рисовые поля и плодовые салы. Есть своя кухня, в деревне рядом есть магазины, можно приготовить или купить еды.

Лестница довольно крутая, и туалет довольно далеко от домика - не подходит тем, кому сложно перемещаться

The property was at a perfect location, a bit outside of a city with nice nature around it but if your mobile it was easy to get to the close city. The room was very clean and you felt comfortable. Around you there sometimes are animals, which are really cute. The best part were the very friendly hosts. They spoke good English and were very helpful and open. We had a small car accident and they immediately us and even asked their neighbors to assist.

I stayed at Mesari cottage for two days and absolutely loved it. This cottage offers a magical escape into nature's embrace. The hosts Eka and Putu was warm and welcoming me like family and even taking me to the family temple. Truly a special experience.

My friend and I absolutely loved our stay here!! The owners are so nice and generous, the room and bathroom were clean, the location is beautiful, and all the food that was cooked for us was beyond amazing :)

Absolutely beautiful garden, room is very comfortable and clean (kitchen that is open to everybody could benefit from a little tidy up though…)

At times there was very loud and disturbing noise from crickets, but the place is located in the heart of the nature so one shouldn’t be surprised about the sounds of nature :)

Loin de la ville bruiyante, l'endroit est splendide pour les amoureux de la Nature Le jardin est magnifique., Avec un bassin d'ou coule une source qui vous berce, de multiples plantes, Fleurs,, orchidees et arbres enchantent le regard.. Eka vous accueille avec enthousiasme. Elle nous a fair visiter son terrain. Production de bananes, mangues, papailles, durians... Elle nous a fair decouvrir de nombreux fruits inconnus aux occidentaux et Elle cuisine tres bien. Nous Avon's eu la chance d'etre invites a la ceremonie de Galougane dans le temple familiale. C'etait merveilleux ! Sejour paradisiaque pour nous.

the cottage was so dreamy. it felt like a dream when looking out of the little window. i have sat on the little table all the evening which was so wholesome and the host and hostess were so warm and welcoming. the stay was perfect. the only thing was the bugs in the bathroom, but that was something that they could not do much about. i loved it.

Absolutely beautifull garden and homestay. The owners are way too kind. The food is out of this world!

That we didn't stay longer

We vonden de tuin en de rustige relaxe sfeer die er hing zeer de moeite. Tevens zijn de eigenaars zeer vriendelijk en in voor een leuke babbel ( budha spreekt zeer goed engels )Zijn vrouW Eka maakte voor ons de lekkerste ontbijtjes en maaltijden.

Je hebt transport nodig om zowiezo ergens te geraken , maar we konden 2 goede brommers huren ter plaatse en rondcruisen in de bergen.ook voor het eten ben je afhankelijk vd eigenaar ,erbuiten is binnen afzienbare wandelafstand niks te vinden. We vonden het absoluut niet leuk dat de aangewezen chauffeur en neef vd eigenaar ons het laatste uur liet zitten voor ons transport naar de volgende accomodatie.

Lontano da tutto. No ristoranti, no possibilità di camminare a piedi causa animali selvatici. Prendete un taxi.

Wir würden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Zimmer und die komplette Anlage werden sehr sauber gehalten. Das Bett ist super komfortabel. Das Frühstück war fantastisch. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

De rust, het geluid van stromend water de hele nacht, de prachtige tuin, de meditatieplek tussen twee lotusvijvers, en de warme ontvangst van Kutu en zijn vrouw. Alles was heel schoon, georganiseerd en perfect voor ontspanning of een retraite.

Er was eigenlijk niets wat me niet beviel. Alles was naar wens.

The hosts and the surroundings and facilities… and the food!!

What an amazing stay ! I highly recommend. The owners are super nice and welcoming. The food is delicious 😋. Everything was super clean, the bed is comfy! Too bad it was only one night because I felt like home. Thank you so much 🙏🏼

There was a very friendly cat that slept together with me :) And the owner was friendly and cooked some nice food! Location is quiet, peaceful and away from all the hustle, but I recommend having some form of transportation arranged or renting a scooter for getting around.

The bathroom is a bit of a walk from house

We stayed at Mesari cottages for two weeks and booked 3 rooms. It's family owned accommodation, so they looked after us every day. What we really enjoyed is the local family atmosphere, from breakfast to cleaning, driving to the beautiful places around Buleleng and mount batur. We got to know everyone in the family and became friends. What a lovely stay and lovely people. A memorable experience. This area is very beautiful and the beach resort in Lovina was out beach escape. Many waterfalls and interesting places to visit. Thank you Bude, Eka and family. We will go back. 🙏 Hi

Pros: very peaceful, close to nature. Room is clean and everywhere is beautiful. Staff also very nice. Just message when you need something and they will do their best to provide. Cons: bit of a challenge to find but this depends on you if that is exactly your intention. Not many nearby places to eat but can cook in the common kitchen.

We arrived a bit late and it was easy to get lost. People were a bit on their guards when we arrived.

For people who love to experience nature and the real Bali. The hospitality of the owner made me feel like home.

For me personally, nothing.

Stunning place. Wonderful garden. Immersive landscape around. Perfect that we can eat there after a long day driving. Thanks you for cooking and welcoming 🌴👌

Incredibly, uniquely, remote.

Without a vehicle, I was unsure about where to get supplies. However the owners told me if I needed anything I should reach out.. I just didn't reach out. Whoops!

Everything. The location was perfect for walking around in the jungle...very quiet and peaceful. very beautiful with flowers and trees. delicious food and kind owners....what else do you want...:-)

stayed in the cottage room very nice experience, near by have hill to trek on and have nice traffic free road to walk or ride bike, all locals there very friendly everyone greets you with an hello definitely coming back next time for longer stay

guide recommendations need to be better, the guides that were recommended to me were not so professional for the job

Breakfast offerings were varied, a la carte. Water refills are available to buy. There is a fantastic swimming pool within 2km of the accomodation with cheap local food and beautiful views. Also a waterfall further up the road by motorbike. The villagers are friendly if you start with a smile and a greeting.

Plastic straws that cane with drinks. And as normal for everywhere in Bali, plastic rubbish in natural areas is an eyesore.

I booked the bungalow which had lots of windows which opened to sounds of running water and birds! The accommodation is the only option for meals, but prices were very fair and the meals were excellent. The hosts were very helpful and generous. The garden was absolutely beautiful with several large water ponds and views to the rice fields and adjacent forest.

The interior of the bungalow had various levels with nonstandard steps so I had to be careful moving about inside.

Amazing food and all around perfect service. Buderiasa helped us with all our issues/questions. The cottage is located in beautiful nature and the surroundings with the garden and the rice fields are unreal! (even better than on the pictures in our opinion). You should be aware, that it‘s a 20 minute drive to the next bigger village.

how to describe?! we spent 3 memorable nights at mesari cottage! The place is splendid, very clean and quiet. The breakfast is very good and plentiful. Perfect for staying and discovering the real Bali. I wanted to thank the hosts who welcomed us perfectly and gave us the best advice on activities and places to do in the surrounding area. For the record: I forgot two t-shirts there, they did everything to bring them back to me! Thanks again to them, I won't forget.

We loved staying here. The room was exceptionally clean and the place was very quiet and peaceful. And the family was so welcoming that we felt like part of the family. Thank you so much and we’ll definitely come back once we’re back in Bali

The location is amazing peaceful and in one of the most beautiful places in Bali.

It's very peaceful there and perfect if you want to get away from touristic places. The hosts were lovely and helpful, the food was delicious everyday. A unique and special place!

Food was amazing and well priced. Location is off the beaten track in a beautiful lush property. You can use their kitchen as well if you like. But the best thing is the hosts Putu and Bude- made us so welcome, took us sightseeing and organised our onward transport.

For the price it’s an amazing place. Simple but very comfortable and clean accommodation.

I had a fantastic stay here. Great, remote location. Beautiful gardens on the property. Can walk nearby the property through rice terraces. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful. You can rent motorbikes here which are great for getting around the area. The food here is delicious. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean. There was air conditioning. The beds were comfy. I recommend staying here!!

The property was lovely. Set in beautiful grounds, it felt like a real tropical paradise. Our room was really spacious and we liked the decor of the bathroom. The sound of natural running water made for a really relaxing nights sleep. The staff/ owner were super kind and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt very welcome. Beds super comfortable and the AC worked well. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend.

Nothing - we thought the place was really relaxing and liked it all. When we first arrived, we drove on a scooter through the rice field - but there is another way in which is much easier, it's just a short distance from the rice field turning.

It is an incredibly beautiful and untouched spot. We stayed in the tree house which was confortable and had an amazing view. The guys that run the place are very kind. They recommend and amazing restaurant and went out their was to show us exactly where it was. Definitely stay here

Excellent hosts - it's truly rate to see such dedicated hosts. They made our stay extremely memorable. One of the best locations in the region.

The hole experience was unique. From the welcoming till the activists, the very good food and the experience to live in the jungle… I am plessed that I got the chance to get to know the family and their traditions. A totally family environment. I feel very thankful and I will definitely come back.
