Das Hotel ist eigentlich ein altes Haus, das sehr liebevoll umgebaut und umgestaltet wurde. Es sind etwa 6 Zimmer verfügbar. Die Besitzerin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Tolle Lage, da mitten in der belebten Innenstadt trotzdem war es sehr ruhig gelegen, da durch die Gasse kaum Autos fuhren. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille à Dar Yassine et sommes très contents de notre expérience. La maison est authentique et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Les chambres sont très bien équipées, propres et confortables. Un grand merci à Mme Alia et à toute l’équipe pour leur accueil chaleureux et attentionné. Petit-déjeuner royal et emplacement parfait pour profiter de Hergla. Nous recommandons vivement cette belle adresse !

The hotel is beautiful. Very pretty and cute. The staff is kind and helpful and the room was convenient. Breakfast was freshly made and they even do an early breakfast tray if you're going to miss breakfast. Paid a little extra for late checkout but everything was reasonably priced. The rooftop is stunning with a lovely sea-view and a nice breeze. The location is very peaceful and you are surrounded by locals. People in the neighbourhood are very friendly. There are food places and coffee shops around. The area comes to life after 5pm. Also, the beach is only a short walk away. After arriving at the hotel, i ended up extending my stay as i was initially just going to stay here 1 night but ended up staying 2.5 nights instead. They are currently cutting off the water supply in Tunisia between 9.30pm and 5am which affected my airbnb stay but thankfully this hotel has their own water system so you will still have water in the night. The bathroom was nice and spacious and clean.

J’ai pris mon temps pour faire ce commentaire, afin que la colère s'apaise. Nous avons réservé trois nuits dans ce logement qui paraissait prometteur, et manque de chance ont nous a confié une chambre dont la clim ne fonctionnait pas. J'ai demandé un changement de chambre, l'hébergement était vide et au besoin moyennant finance, ont m’a répondu que ce n’étais pas possible car le lendemain toutes les chambres étaient retenues. Il faisait 40 degrés, c’était intenable, nous avons passé une nuit blanche. Je suis partie le lendemain et j'attends toujours un remboursement partiel. Dommage, ils nous ont donné une image de l'hospitalité déplorable que je ne pensais pas trouvé ici. A vous de voir mais par grandes chaleurs, je déconseille.

Excellent value. Wonderful breakfast each morning, very plentiful, with fresh fruit, pastries, etc (different each morning). Comfortable, clean and a great location for using as a base to visit El Jem, Sousse and Kairouan.

This is truly a great place to stay over. The place has all the necessary facilities with a touch of elegance . Very close to the sea and all the local restaurants and cafes. Hergla is a small town and we thoroughly enjoyed the area and this lovely boutique hotel. The owner and the staff are also very nice and helpful. We highly recommend this place! Don’t miss out!

Das Hotel ist ein wahres Schätzchen. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung, hervorragender Service und ein wundervolles Frühstück. Das kleine Städtchen Hergla ist auch hübsch und angenehm ruhig. Wir sind sehr froh nicht in einem der großen Hotelbunker in der Umgebung von Sousse gebucht zu haben.

Das einzige ist, dass die sich Rechnung um eine Servicegebühr und Commission erhöht hat, aber darauf wird man bei der Buchung ja hingewiesen und die Unterkunft ist es allemal wert!

It is in a beautiful house with many interesting details, located near town center by the sea. The host is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is the best!

Dark Yessine is a beautiful white and blue building and a lovely, peaceful place to stay. The room was beautifully decorated and we loved the painted tile details. Breakfast was excellent with delicious hot and cold options and coffee/tea. Farah spoke great English and gave us some helpful recommendations of places to visit and where to eat in the evening. We had a lovely, peaceful time and this was our favourite stay of the whole trip!

Nice boutique hotel with comfortable rooms. I was in the room with gold decor which was beautiful. There was central heating which I hadn't seen elsewhere in Tunisia, which kept the room warm during the February evenings. The shower pressure was very good. The hotel is close to cafes, restaurants and the sea. The included breakfast was very tasty.

Pleasant reception and check-in from Farrah and her cat. Can drop off luggage right out front then park a little ways down in the square. The Dar is beautiful and charming outside and inside. The room is pleasant, not too crowded. Good lighting and available power sockets. A good sized window, mostly private, looking over the courtyard area; small balcony with table and chairs in front. The bathroom is bright and functional. Water, kettle, coffee and tea supplies provided. Toiletries and hair dryer provided. Linens are lovely cotton with an actual top sheet! Good duvet and cover, two pillows pp and comfortable bed. Beautiful traditional fouta bath and hand towels. Two nightstands both with reading lamps. Small closet with a hangers. Pretty roof top deck with a few seating areas. Well functioning AC/heating unit even with a thoughtful wood box built around to lessen its presence. The eating area/lounge is attractive, large and internal with one large table and a few smaller ones. Coming from Canada, I initially thought dinner at this Dar was expensive at 26 euro pp but it was good. Soup and bread, bric, small salad, grilled fish and prawns, vegetables and fries, and a dessert of warm chocolate cup with orange slices. The crockery is beautiful. Breakfast was very good and hearty. However I didn’t get a cup of coffee until I was almost finished eating. And that was it, one cup of coffee per person.

It was practically perfect in every way except for the minimal coffee service at breakfast. And the wifi was extremely weak in our bedroom and on the rooftop. FYI only, there are about six steps from the street to the lobby, then another long flight of 20 stairs to the room level.

Such a nice hotel in a lovely little village. Nadine was so helpful and kind and gave us lots of restaurant recommendations which was really appreciated. The breakfast was a big highlight - soo delicious and so much food!

Para nosotros no fue nada especial la estancia en este hotel, para ser un hotel boutique le falta mucho encanto. La noche qué pasamos ahí, una pareja en la habitación de al lado llegó a las 4 de la mañana y aunque solo charlaban, se podía escuchar todo, a esa hora tuvimos que pedirles qué hablaran más bajo. Quisimos comprar una botella de vino, porque la ofrecen en la habitación, y el personal fue imposible de localizar. El desayuno ok, nada sorprendente

Hotel is dirty and management does not know what they are doing. We had a terrible stay at this hotel and management refused to take accountability for their own mistakes. They double booked rooms and forced us to share with strangers until other guests checked out.

Dar Yessine was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Unprofessional, rude, dismissive, incompetent, negligent, and disorganized from start to finish. When we arrived, there was no one to open the door, leaving us stranded outside for hours. Half of our group was arriving later, but my group arrived at 7pm—hardly “early”—yet there was still no staff in sight. At the very least, one person should have been available to accommodate arrivals at a reasonable hour. When we were finally let in, our rooms weren’t ready. In fact, they had been double-booked. To “fix” it, we were given different rooms, not the ones we’d paid a higher premium for—and we received no compensation. The next day, housekeeping didn’t service our rooms. When we asked for fresh towels, staff flooded our room by leaving the bidet on, then blamed us. To make matters worse, the AC stopped working. Instead of moving us to a functioning room, they told us to share with someone else. Completely unacceptable. After days of back-and-forth and consistently rude, unprofessional treatment, we had no choice but to relocate. Despite all of their mistakes, the hotel refused to issue a refund. In short: avoid this place. It’s poorly run, disrespectful to guests, and utterly careless with service.

One of the worst hotel experiences of my life. Dar Yessine completely ruined our trip. They double booked our rooms, forcing us to share with strangers for a day, and repeatedly insisted it wasn’t their fault—showing zero accountability. Even worse, we have video proof of a staff member physically assaulting a guest. The staff overall were extremely rude, unwelcoming, and dismissive, never taking responsibility for their mistakes. We ultimately had to relocate hotels because the situation was so unacceptable. Tourists should beware—avoid this place at all costs.

Grear location, nicely furnished and decorated, very friendly and profesionl host. Just few tips - provide a coffee spoon in the room as well as powdered milk. Make sure the terasse door also opens from outside.

Sparkling clean, well-decorated and comfortable guest house. It's a small fishing town, with blue and white traditional buildings. Best breakfast of any during a month in Tunisia. Nadine speaks excellent English, a kind and generous hostess. In-room tea-making facilities.

I stayed out of season so Hergla was pretty quiet and I seemed to be the only guest at Dar Yessine, but I was warmly welcomed and very well looked after. The hotel is full of character and in a great location, but what makes it special is Nadine! She was always cheerful and willing to help, offering local recommendations and sorting out transport to the airport when I needed it. And breakfast was excellent.

Great location. Loved the outside of the building as well as the whole layout inside the house. The fact it had a roof top terrace with views over the sea and the whole Gulf of Hammamet. Lovely fish restaurant nearby, by the name of L'Etoile. Host was absolutely lovely.

This hotel is amazing. Nadine and her Mum provide a fantastic facility. Entire hotel is spotlessly clean. Nothing is to much trouble. Breakfast was absoluely awesome.
