Unique Arctic Timber Cabin

Lovely little cabin like from a fairy-tale. Nice, warm and cosy inside, spacious balcony with a nice view and there is also a fireplace in front of the house. Just be ready that the bathroom is small - but I managed well (I'm 1,75). Bed was on a soft side. The cabin is situated in the area with summer houses, just next to the summer house of the owners, close to the Skaidi crossroads, which is a practical location for other travels to both direction Hammerfest and Honningsvåg - manageable even on public buses. Owners are really kind and friendly people - I felt like visiting old friends.

Mökki oli aivan ihana. Se oli viihtyisä, kaikinpuolin hyväkuntoinen ja siisti, hyvällä ja rauhallisella paikalla, kiva terassi, Sängyt ja tyynyt olivat ihan hyvät, avaimet sai helposti ja asiointi oli miellyttävää.

Makuuhuoneessa voisi olla pimentävä verho, kahvinkeitintä ei tosiaan ole, mutta onneksi vedenkeittimellä saimme tehtyä pikakahvia. Ymmärrämme kyllä että kaikki tarvikkeet vievät tilaa. Mainittua grillauspaikkaa/-mahdollisuutta voisi hieman kehittää. Hinta oli hieman korkeahko.

Cozy and comfortable stay. Great views, good balcony. Very comfortable bed, best sleep we’ve had in Norway.

No soap, a bit expensive for what you got. Big hill to push loaded touring bicycles up!

Eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit Blick in die Berge. Für eine Nacht völlig okay. Würde ich wieder buchen.

Die Dusche ist zu klein, Preis ist sehr hoch für eine Nacht.

Easily the best-looking accommodation I've ever stayed in.

Build quality, lovely setting.

Shower quite small, but lovely hot water and after a days cycling it was amazing.

Full of character, this traditional log cabin oozes charm and tradition. Good communication from the hosts via text led to easy access. Self catering with adequate facilities and a supermarket at the filling station at the bottom of the hill. Stunning views from the terrace and the night we were there a display of the Northern Lights. This isn't a big place, but very cosy.

The only challenge was the shower, if you're tall, be prepared to shower sitting on the toilet!
