Latitude Sea Front Luxury Apartment

Seafront , quiet area.close to Le Morne beach and southern Mauritius.

Apartament był cudowny (zwłaszcza taras), bardzo przestronny , w każdym pokoju łazienka plus mała toaleta w korytarzu. Ogromny taras, z którego był piękny widok na ocean i górę Le Morne. Taras w zasadzie większy niż pokój dzienny z kuchnią i po rozsunięciu drzwi stanowił cudowne przedłużenie pokoju. W zasadzie przebywaliśmy cały czas na tarasie. Tam też był duży stół, fotele i grill. Po prostu cudownie i można się poczuć luksusowo:) Część wspólna przy basenie też fajnie wyposażona z fotelami i leżakami. W lipcu praktycznie byliśmy przy basenie zawsze sami (chyba niski sezon i dlatego generalnie nie trafiliśmy na ludzi i dużych tłumów). Polecam na wyspie mieć swój samochód. Do sklepu spożywczego trzeba było dojechać. Cały północny zachód i południe też wygodniej penetrować własnym samochodem. Na plaży przy Le morne bybliśmy 3 razy, do Flic en flick też lepiej dotrzeć własnym samochodem. W Tamarin jest świetna plaża (uważam, że niedoceniana, a tam trafiliśmy w lipcu na najcieplejszą wodę, a zjechaliśmy całą wyspę). Pani sprzątająca przychodziła codziennie , chociaż czystość apartamentu akurat oceniam najniżej. Na początku pobytu dostaliśmy dwa 5 litrowe baniaki z wodą.

Generalnie cały pobyt był cudownym doświadczeniem i nie chciało się opuszczać apartamentu. Jeżeli miałabym się do czegoś przyczepić to czystość. Niby jest Pani sprzątająca ale generalnie ściera z wierzchu kurze i ścieli łóżko i np. zapakuje ci zmywarkę i wyrzuci śmieci, ale pod szafakami i w łazience były warstwy kurzu jakby dawno tam nikt nie zaglądał. Sprzątanie pobierzne. Chyba wolałabym gdyby w tygodniu nie było tej Pani od sprzątania, a dostać porządnie przygotowane mieszkanie na wejściu, a my tymczasem pierwszego dnia po przyjeździe już mieliśmy kłęby kurzu ( tak jakby było tylko zamiatane). Uważam też, że słabe jest rozwiązanie w głównej sypialni, gdzie łazienka jest otwarta. Gdy rano wstałam przed mężem, to chcąc nie chcąc go obudziłam bo po prostu wszystko słychać gdy bierzesz prysznic czy myjesz zęby. No ale na to właściciel wpływu nie ma, na czystość już tak.

We liked the location of the Latitude apartments as it was central to where we needed to be. Wonderful to wake up each morning and have our morning coffee overlooking the sea. The response of the hosts when there was an issue was excellent, cannot fault them and their attention.

There was a cleaner who came in everyday but unfortunately level of cleaning was lacking. The apartment was not as clean as would be expected on closer inspection. Would have prefered her to come less as daily was a bit intrusive and would have been good if she could have done a better job when she was there. Access to some cleaning materials and a vacuum would have been helpful. The ponds in the complex where stinking and overcrowded with fish, definitely needs immediate attention. Some very broken sun loungers by the communal pool needing replaced. (This would be for the syndic to sort out)

Extraordinary location. Beautiful view to the sea and beautiful sunsets.Apartment fully equipped. Everything available including a gas grill. Supermarket and shopping area nearby. Good starting point for excursions to Black River Gorge and along the coast. Rental car recommended. Host Astride was very kind and gives us necessary information.

Stray dogs in the garden and around the pool. Cleanness could be better but from my point of view it is enough to clean the apartment every 2 days. Garbage closet in the kitchen can't close properly.

Beautiful front sea view apartment Coralie was the perfect host ! Thank you for an enjoyable stay .

The deck overlooking the sea and boats was spectacular with incredible sunsets. Location to shops etc was great. Good to have a car to see the rest of the island and to go on the boat trips.

Needed aircon in the lounge....only complaint really otherwise superb.

What a wonderful place and fantastic location!! Astride & Coralie are simply great hosts and made our stay very easy.....very accommodating...they are well seasoned hosts who tick all the right boxes. The apartment was extremely clean and furnished in a modern yet comfortable style. There was every possible amenity that we wanted or needed.....it was like a true "home from home". Travelling for long periods on a suitcase can be challenging, so the washing machine/drier was a very welcome bonus.....well done!!...... Can only say that we will definitely return and will have no hesitation recommending Lattitude to family, friends or anyone for that matter.....

If there is anything slightly negative, I would suggest that either a ceiling or portable fan on the patio would make the space more comfortable. Especially in the late afternoon western sun....

Exceptional view of the bay and boats. Enjoyable meeting various neighbours daily at the communal pool in beautiful gardens and koi ponds. Spacious modern apartment.

No Airconditioner in the lounge.
